Monica was great! Izzy and Pearl the cuts they needed. Was charged a bit extra which never happened before. So I was surprised that what I would normally pay was actually more. But I wasn’t to upset because once I seen them I knew they had been in good hands. They got the cuts I expected and wanted. The mud bath that was also an extra charge but it was great for them and it really helped them since they did not get a cut in a while by the groomers only at home with me (which can be very challenging and with a lot of work). It left there coats soft and Izzy who had dandruff which I couldn’t get rid of at home helped her so much. I loved that they got a report card which I never got before. Which assured m of their good behavior. The last time from a previous appointment, I was told by a different groomer Izzy was fidgety and was not able to get the cut I wanted, which I didn’t believe because I know they pretty much kept still during their other appointments and at home with me. So given the heads up to Monica about how Izzy might act I was surprised that wasn’t the case with her. Monica did a great job, I was more happy to know they both were in good hand because Izzy and Pearl are the sweetest and they have such good behavior and Monica honesty and professionalism really made me not worry about the extra prices that was added because I knew they were needed once it was explained and once I got to see Izzy and Pearl afterwards. I was so glad they were In such good caring hands. My only hope is that Monica is there the next time Izzy and Pearl comes in for their wash and cut.

Picked up a little one-eyed damsel for a dollar-fifty. He was very shy at first and hid. But now has settled nicely and loves zipping around with his friend, Cleo. He is cute always in and out of caves and crevices. Glad to have met him here at Petco. Service is generally good at this location except they need more fish people the wait can get crazy when the single staff member is occupied.

Sean is fantastic! I am so thankful that I met him. He gave the best haircut to my fluffy little guy and I can’t stop taking pictures of it. Sean was polite, professional, and super accommodating! The entire grooming staff here were absolutely wonderful people!

Any 18 wheelers that has a load to this place do not deliver here. The dock they have is for BOX TRUCKS. I ended up parking on the side of the store. The manager grabbed her employees and we unloaded the truck by hand. The 5 stars is for how great the employees and manager were!!

This is where I go to get staples for my cat and fish. Got my leopard gecko supplies here too. Staff is always friendly of course, but they tend to interrogate you about your fish tank a bit despite the state of their tanks (sorry, but true...). I love the stock of cat items they have and am glad they purged the unhealthy pet food. Good rewards program and health for pets available, too.

Went to the fish department. The usual fish person was not there, and it showed. Most if not all fish tanks had algie everywhere, to the point that many fish we're not visible. Usually we really enjoy our visits to this time. A month later, the usual person (Mike) was working, and it was a pleasure to shop here. Thanks Mike!

Always get my cat food from the Petco brand, it's the cheaper option with less amounts of garbage and additives in it. Good selection of toys and accessories, store is clean, staff is nice, I always come back here

The animals here seem much healthier and happier than at other Petco’s. They have drawings on some cages, they name some of the pets and they have care guides with every enclosure. One of the employees, Eric, helped my friend and I out a lot. He is very knowledgeable about the animals in the store and gave me great advice about my pet ball python. He went above and beyond because he saw me struggling to carry my new 40 gallon tank he brought it to the register for me and when my friend and I said we would come back for the tank so we could carry it together he offered to carry it for us. Also the feeder mouse I got from this location was so much healthier than past feeders I’ve gotten. She was a lot more lively, had a shinier coat, and looked plumper. I’ll definitely be visiting this location for my pets needs more

Kind of a disheveled store from what I am used to. I went while in Boston but my local stores in Minnesota are much cleaner and more organized. The store did have the products I was looking for and we got in and out at our pace. The clerk at the front of the store was helpful and friendly. I would have rated the store 5 stars if it was cleaner and more organized. I know everyone's excuse is Covid, but good management could keep a store in better shape than this one is in.

First time at this branch. An associate greeted me at the door, asked what I needed, guided me right to it, made helpful suggestions when I asked about my senior cat and helped me locate a comparable option when my "usual" wasn't available. They also were able to tell me which branch did have the item in stock, in case I wasn't flexible on brand. I went with their suggestion, but it was a nice touch. Then, when that associate stepped away, another saw I was looking a little lost and helped me find another item I needed. They were then immediately available to ring me up. Can't go wrong with that kind of service. Thanks, team!

Good fish selection, especially saltwater. The employees were helpful and seemed to care. Unfortunately there were a lot of dead fish but it's the nature of the industry, I think, since the fish are already under a lot of stress from shipping and handling. Overall pretty solid. Update: while an associate was helping me, another customer asked him what size tank a goldfish needs, and he accurately told her that one goldfish needs 20 gallons! Made an awesome impression.

Unlike a lot of chain stores, at this Petco you can see the manager leading her team, jumping in to make sure customer experiences are positive, and keeping the store's products relevant. The grooming salon has a staff that I drive further than two other locations to choose. There's a lot of heart here.

This review is specific to the grooming. I used this place as a last resort after failing to book an appointment at my regular groomer with enough lead time. My dog was overdue and I attempted to groom him myself a couple weeks before taking him in so he went in there a mess. Not the best cut ever which is why I gave 4 stars but it was good, they definitely didn't mess up in anyway. The staff were great and had him ready quicker than almost anywhere else I've gone to. They were also a lot cheaper than most places. Overall positive experience and I would certainly use them again. I was skeptical going in and was very pleasantly surprised overall.

The store is clean and the staff are nice. I think the dog supplies are great but this would be time #2 all my lizard's worms were dead.. I probably got about 6 that were still alive from the 2 cans I bought. I thought the crickets in the box looked good but when I got them home they were also mostly dead.

My local Petco is great! I usually go to get dog and cat food or toys, etc. I went recently to get a terrarium and other supplies for some garden snails - they had everything I needed. The staff here is always friendly and nice!

I can’t say enough great things about Eric A, the dog trainer at this Petco. He was very accommodating and helpful. He has really great advice on how to approach dog training and does a great job of making you feel confident in training your dog. The folks here are very helpful, service is great, and prices are reasonable. Gideon, the lead dog trainer, has been particularly spectacular! His classes are amazing. We have a super well trained puppy after taking his puppy 1 & 2 classes. We'll be back for adult classes, as well! Recommend this petco and especially training classes to anyone.

Before and after I even own any pets I used to bring my kids in here just to look at all the lil creatures... It was a quick trip to the pet store that left them amazed, asking questions for hours and Begging to go back soon. This place is always clean. Staff is always visible educated and friendly. They offer pet grooming as well as let training. This is a pet friendly environment and wheelchair accessible. Great deals.

They keep the place in good shape. Have a vet and pet grooming. Better selection in aquatics than most other petco shops ive been to. Would give 5 stars if it wasnt for a cricket shortage. They only do 25 crickets per customer. I need a lot more than that.

Always an issue with the reward program-their website is buggy. I attempted to order a coat that was sold out in the store but even the clerk could not get their website to work. This is not the first time I've had issues with getting my points or ordering things at the store. The mng was nice and apologize but the clerk was unfriendly-not necessary of course but if thats the case, I can just shop online elsewhere. I suppose covid fatigue is still g in forall of us...

Large location. You can find most items for larger pets like dogs and cats. They have birds and fish for available for sale. Items for smaller pets like rodents or rabbits are available. Associates have been helpful and friendly during every visit. Prices are a little higher than other pet supply stores for smaller pets such as harnesses , hay/food, grooming.

Internet indicated 33lb wild bird seed on sale. Store computer did not register the sale. I used my Petco Id card too. Luckily the store cashier was nice enough to look item up online to check for me & gave me discount. Was not happy bout the computer not giving discount. Petco is a bit overpriced anyway so usually shop in supermarket or Ocean State for pet food. Thanks.

This place is always clean and organized, but that might just be because it doesn't get too many customers in at once. Regardless, it being quiet is another plus for me. The refillable litter is conveniently up front, and always well-stocked. They keep themed animal costumes up front as well, for those poor pets whose humans insist on dressing them. Only ding for this location is they seem hesitant to page for back up cashiers when the line grows, and their register systems are slow, so check out takes longer than it needs to. Edited to add: the last 5 or so times I have gone, the litter refill station has been out or nearly out. This past Saturday when I went, the grate to set your container on to refill itwas missing, which made the scooping process that much more awkward.

I came in for cat supplies and ended up spending an hour looking at birds, lizards, turtles, rodents, and fish. They don't keep any pets here that they wouldn't be able to keep humanely. The people who work here are kind animal living type people who are easy to get along with.

Some staff are quite knowledgeable and feiendly - great for dog and reptile supplies. Management of the avian section, however would be comical of there weren't birds actually under this "care", which is closer to tragic. While some staff can recommend avian products well, the things I have been told about the parrots for sale tend to be absurdly inaccurate, and official documents can get information as simple as gender and breed wrong.

One of the products I have purchased there in the past was no longer in the store. It was the SmartBones sticks. I ended up purchasing the SmartBone chicken flavored minis in the 30 count package. The bones are much more expensive than the sticks which are made out of identical ingredients. The sticks give you more bang for the buck.

This Petco used to be wonderful until these past few months. I used to get everything thing here, but it seems with the new Pet Supplies Plus, Petco is now slowly being run into the ground. I called about a tank I wanted at Petco and they transfered me to the fish section. After being told how they are waiting for the tanks and me calling the next few days to see if they had them, which every single time I called they said they didn't have them, I went in to get grab an item only to find that they had the tanks in stock and that the past 2 days I had been told they didn't have them they did. I also had a friend go to Petco for a starter kit which was $120. He went to Pet Supplies Plus where the same kit was $89. They have been very helpful in the past and maybe after they get used to the pet store around the corner they will be back on their feet. Review from 3 months ago: This has been my Petco for the past 5 years. Any problems I have had they have very willingly fixed. I have gotten stuff for my dog, cats, bought fish and fish supplies, and stuff for my frogs. I have bought all my fish here. There is one reason I have continued to buy fish from them. If the fish have a problem I can bring them back and if they get sick or infect my whole tank they are very helpful. I only had one issue with getting fish from them. They had a white spot and did not catch it till a few days after my brother had gotten more fish for me. This can be prevented if you keep new fish in a separate tank and treat it with fish meds. The aquatics guy with the orange hair and glasses can fix any fish problem. The pet stuff is pretty well priced. The crickets I get for my frogs are healthy and my frogs love them. I have seen the reviews for the groomers and thought I would remind people that grooming places are the same as salons. The cheaper the less likely you are going to get a good cut. Most chains ( salon and groomers ) that are cheap teach their employees a basic cookie cutter cut, not a tailored to the person or animal cut.

The people working here care about their jobs. The animal enclosures and fish tanks are spotless and the animals are clearly well taken care of. They have an adoption corner with abandoned pets looking for new homes. They also have the best cricket selection for you fellow tarantula owners.

Has small rodents, live fish, and budgies. They look well cared for, though low energy. I visited ~10am, so sleepy rodents are to be expected. Their budgies were suprisingly dosile. The fish looked healthy for the most part, but their feeder tank was very grim with more than half the fish dead. I wouldn't personally risk transferring disease to my tank with their feeders.

My favorite Petco by far. I've been coming to this Petco for years. They know my dog and the pets they haven't met. We get so many of our pet supplies here for reptiles, the dog, cats and the occasional random animal that falls into our care for rehabilitation. My dog adores the staff and they adore her, so right there it's a huge plus. Aleks who is one of the managers goes above and beyond in knowledge, kindness and her love of all creatures great and small. Mac, Gerard and so many of the cashiers and floor people, including the older bearded gentleman in the fish department just go above and beyond as well. My dog Precious loves them all and loves the Petco frisbees above all others! I love the fact that everytime we go it's a fun and friendly adventure for Precious and myself.
