I love this store because they always have my size shoes and plenty of them to choose from. Large size shoes are welcomed here! The attendees are friendly and they always have plenty of clothes to choose from and the return policy is decent. The only issue is parking but what can you expect the store is on Boylston Street. The store is also clean

Great place for winter stuff treasure hunt. Do not expect normal department store. But great coat, boots and groves by surprising low price! The only issue is the difficulty in finding a parking space.

Good retails shop to buy brand good for less. It contains sections for men, women and kids. Nice deals on jackets and shoes. It needs more staff as there are long queues for payment. You need to spend long time to go through the good to Fing your request. It is a good place to find designer bags for less , like Kate spade and Marc Jacobs and MK . Also different shoe brands for less . Highly recommended for shopping

Very nice clothes I love you designs but the thing that concerns me is when I walk in clothes are lying down on the floor and as some people would say it is a bit overwhelming. I think it would be a bit better If you organized things like color by color. I am not saying your shop is bad but I think that should be one of the things you work on. But overall beautiful clothes look dawned ro shopping with you again.

This is a great store located in downtown Boston. Note that access is now only from the Boylston Road entrance and that the Newbury Street entrance is closed. I found some socks at a very good price on the second floor. Paying for my items took some time as there were quite a few returns who were in the same line. However..staff were very understanding and helpful.

Considered shopping heaven for bargain hunters, an always crowded place with shoppers looking for best deals. In clothes, foot wear areas, merchandises scattering on the floor, then staffs pick them up, then shoppers throw back on the floor again, and the cycle repeated for the entire opening hours :-)

There always seem to be pretty good deals on name brands. Very solid selection of sizes and styles. Decently organized which is nice whereas I've been to stores where sizes are all mixed up. The customer service folks were also pretty helpful the couple times we had questions.

Overall good range of shoe selection for me (mid 20s female, size 6.5) at a range of prices (lowest I saw was around 30 and highest 200). Employees were courteous, though checkout took a little longer than I would have liked (two people at register for a line consistently ~7-10 long)

Good store for quick shop or get your shoes or new clothes. Didn't have a lot of collection. The staff isn't that responsive, I was looking for a specific size and they said it's what it is and didn't help or check anything. If you know what you want then should be good store to go to !

Great location that is listed as on Newbury Street, but there entrance is on Boylston. It's two floors, with a ton of merchandise and helpful staff roaming. The lines to purchase your goods can be long, but that's offset by the great people working the register!

It's worth a visit if one is in the area and has time on their hands. Definitely a go to place if you enjoy the hunt for high end items, but often luxury items prove to be elusive. Here it's all about luck and being a savvy shopper. There may be some high end "designer" items here that are scattered amongst the picked over, predominantly discount quality stock. It's here because it failed to sell for various reasons @ Nordstrom. Think of Filenes Basement towards the end of it's life cycle....not the glory days , and you get the vibe (the thrill of the hunt)....NOTE: The "Basement" did live here briefly after the main Downtown Crossing outpost was shuttered, albeit in a much smaller footprint. Again, you may score a gem if you have the time & patience.... especially so in men's shoe department.

Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack are two of my favorite stores and are best in class when it comes to customer service. I purchased a suit from Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago for a wedding across the country. I got it tailored in house (excellent service) , packed it in my bag, and thought nothing of it til I was getting ready for the wedding in Arizona. When I finally pulled the bag off the suit, my heart sank : the security tag was still on the jacket. I immediately called the Nordstrom in Boston and spoke with Caitlin (I may be spelling her name wrong) the manager. She was extremely apologetic and when I told her I was leaving for a wedding in an hour,. immediately offered to drive to me to fix it. Unfortunately that wasn't an option given the distance, so she then called the Nordstrom in Arizona where I was, and one of there employees drove to my hotel and took the tag off so I could get on the transportation to the wedding on time. Sometimes it's not how something starts but how it ends that makes the difference, and it was a reminder on why Nordstrom is the best at what they do. Thank you again!!

Stopped in to use the bathroom. It was a spacious bathroom and there was seating nearby it to stop and sit for a minute. I thought it was a discount store but items seemed pricey from my quick browsing.

Would like to start by saying that I shop at this store quite a lot and spend there decent amounts. I don't usually leave reviews, good or bad but this time I will, although it would be more of a question I guess. I'm not a type of a person to ask for discounts and I'm not asking for one now, just trying to understand... Two times in a row the people checking me out didn't ask me if I would like to use my $20 bonus note. They see my acct info on the screen, so why not ask?! Like I said I won't say anything because I don't feel comfortable asking to apply a discount that I have and the one that they can see. Today 8.14.21 I wasn't even asked if I have a phone number with them and of course I didn't use my $20...and to add the cherry on the top of this cake, on a tax free weekend I got charged taxes. Frustrating... I would really appreciate a response to my review as I couldn't find a way to contact the store via app. Thanks!

Very high quality clothing very well discounted. There are two sizeable floors of designer clothing and accessories. There are past season sales to be had here. Everything you would expect to see at a Nordstrom last year at deep discounts.

Good selection and bargain prices on pretty big names. Dressing rooms were a little hard to use, because it wasn't clear how to request a room and they were locked when we first got there, but then we saw others using them.

As with all discounted clearance outlets, your selection is as much a matter of luck. I find I can always get something but it takes a little looking. The prices are what I would consider truly reasonable for Nordstrom rather than he normal gouging rate. This store is always clean and the staff is friendly enough. They keep the changing room in good shape and have a tailor on site who does good work.

Really good deals, the staff could work on cleaning the sales floor. Every time Ive gone the clothes are in the wrong section of the store and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for most of the time. It's disorganized and they could work on organization. Other than that very friendly staff and very quick to help when you are looking for something in particular.

You can score some great high end designer pieces here if you happen to pop in at just the right time... The inside setup is a little chaotic and definitely packed a little tight...honestly almost has a thrift store kind of vibe... The racks have a sense that they've been heavily picked over and all that remains are the leftover scraps to pick through... Dig deep enough and youll stumble upon a random rack of half priced Valentino / Gucci / Burberry / <designer brand> (probably last seasons unsellables), though these are chained in a meidival manner to their display post and assistance is required if you wish to indulge... be weary that Half priced is still more than some may be able to afford. Clothing and shoes upstairs while purse, sunglasses home items and other random accessories are on the ground level. For a girl with a budget or if you just enjoy a good hunt, def a place to consider

Friendly staff, well organized and great selection. You definitely have to time your check out process. Definitely don't go there during lunch hours on Thursdays or Fridays, you'll get stuck in lines. (There are just too many food things to buy!) Head there like around 10:30 am. They don't have lids shoes anymore so that's a bummer, but again still great selection.

I am only rating for this location as I love Nordstrom Rack. It is a large store with a high volume of customers. As a result, this location feels picked through with only the high end available or t-shirts. The shoe selection is good though especially for the popular 7-9 sizes. The beauty section is also good. Unfortunately check out is always slow as they have too many customers and not enough check outs- especially around lunch time or right around 5PM during the week.

No nightwear to speak of which is what I'd been seeking. One very helpful staffer quickly looked up the fit guide on an item I wasn't sure about which size to buy. Boom. All it took was her phone, about 20 seconds, and two smiles. Friendly, helpful staff are thin on the ground theses days, so I especially appreciated the young staffer's assistance and told her so.

Overall good experience. No complaints. Nordstrom Rack is consistent with great deals on a broad selection of clothing, shoes, accessories. My one complaint is that their deal are so good that it’s difficult to keep my wife from wanting to shop at every Nordstrom Rack we come across. Would recommend this shopping location if you are in the area.

I love The Rack! Some amazing bargains can be had here if you have the time to be patient and rummage through racks of quality clothing at a fraction of the price. They usually have locations in every major city across the states and are popular with both locals and tourists alike. I am from Australia and time my trips to the states to coincide with major sales periods throughout the year allowing me the opportunity to shop well and at reasonable prices. Stock is usually from the previous season which is fine for me given I am hard to buy for and our prices in Australia can usually be substantially higher even with our exchange rate conversion I like shopping here because I usually pick up quality brands for a fraction of the price and they tend to wear substantially better than similar products I buy at home Service is great. Fittings rooms are generous and check outs are quick and efficient. Would recommend The Rack in my city near you!

Great selection of items, but the checkout on the lower level can be a bottleneck from hell. They'll only have one person staffing it and they can take forever. You can get some great deals though, especially on designer coats in the winter.

Great place to shop! Busy, like most retailers on a weekend;but worth the waitin line for a good check out experience. A little messy probably due to the extra 25% of clearance event. They great selection of watches. I got an amazing MK watch, at a great price. The girl there was very helpful and lively. And she had bright blue hair! The downside was that they do not size watches for you which was a little annoying. Though, with what you save paying a discounted price totally worth it! There was a very nice and friendly slightly older gentleman at the registers who was helpful and offered me their great debit rewards program. So i signed up for that. He seemed very knowledgable and friendly. He even played a little trick on me. Overall, it was a Great shopping experience. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family and will be shopping there a lot more.

Amazing shopping experience and floor layout. Can't beat their customer service - there's a urban legend going around that someone took their flat tire in to customer service, and they were able to issue a return. That's how wonderful this team is, and they treat customers extremely well.

Honestly, nothing special compared to the TJX storers (Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Sierra). It's honestly weird that the Marshalls across the street closed considering they were doing WAY more business. Some products fly off the racks; others sit for YEARS--and the store's attitude is that they're already discounted enough from the flagship store (Nordstrom) so they NEVER go on sale/clearance. I just don't see the point in hanging on to whole racks of stuff that CLEARLY nobody is buying. If you live in/near Boston, there's no point in making the trek all the way out to the Burlington, Framingham or Braintree stores--not just in the off chance that they have something you want that's not here--it's probably already gone by the time you get there! NO IDEA what they haven't implemented ship-to-store like their flagship store.

This store is pretty good. I used to be a Marshalls/TJX shopper, but they changed their business model such that I can never find anything. Selection of men's items is good, especially shoes. Got a CK suit, nice fit, reasonably priced. The staff is great - friendly, helpful and they appear to enjoy being there. Makes sense difference.

Great supply of name brand clothing at a great price. It is located in a busy area where you can find other shops or you can go get some food, since there's lots of restaurants around there. Right across from the front door is a Marshall's, in case you want to do more discount shopping.

Good discounts to be found. Its a bit of a pot luck, you might find something you like not in your size so be prepared to be disappointed at times, however, keep looking and you might find something even better! For people in the UK visiting, think of TK Max. Its probably the closest thing to it. You can get some good bargains!

Sales floor is a disorganized mess. The clothing rack size dividers are apparently a purely aesthetic joke with no functional meaning. For example smalls mixed in with larges, XXL in with mediums, and one dress I was looking for ended up being scattered across 4 completely different racks that took 2 staff to hunt down for me in my size, it was such a confusion. Luckily there are a lot of staff working the floor & they're all friendly/willing to help. There's also a LOT of "shelf wear" on the items, almost like what one usually sees at consignment shops or thrift stores, so expect to find sweaters with pulls, missing buttons, rips & tears in the fabrics, dresses with lost sequins, snagged embroidery, and if you're looking at the beauty products & toiletries you'll find some opened bottles with broken seals & loose makeup out of its box - that sort of thing. There are definitely some hidden gems & bargains worth hunting for, if you have the time & energy.

Sometimes things ring up cheaper than the price tag. I'm not into retail anymore. I think I have enough for now. I've seen items here I liked but really didn't need. It's better quality than Marshalls. They carry designer goods here. And 34G bras who buys those in Boston?

As far as the selections and the overall layout of the store, it's an A plus. The problem is that for the most part the employees remind you of being in a Walmart where the li es are extremely long and you have one or two people at registers to check out customers. You actually spend more time waiting in line than you do actually finding what you are looking for. If you're in a hurry or want to get in and out, don't bother purchasing anything. Wait for another time.

I found a random top on a rack, the only one of it's type and I fell in love with it, I tried it on and it fit perfectly but noticed it had a huge hole in it... After thinking about it I was going to buy it anyway and stitch it up myself but decided to ask a sales clerk if she knew of anymore in the store because this one had a hole. She told me that she could get the stores tailor to fix it for me because that was lone shirt in the store! What a relief to not to have to do it myself! I was unaware they had an on sight tailor and I have been to this store several times. I was so pleased to find this out today and for the pleasant service and help from the clerk that helped me!

Overall this is a pretty good Rack store. It has plenty to choose from and offers a great selection of men's shoes (actually one of the best Rack stores I have been to for men's shoes). It usually also features some pretty good brands for men's tailored clothing and always has a good selection of quality ties. As always what you find can vary from visit to visit. So if you're in the Boston area and didn't find something one time, be sure to visit again.

Solid Nordstrom rack, nice and big with good inventory. I haven't ever had too long of a wait for a fitting room. The cash registers can get backed up but that's not such a big deal. I like it better than the Marshall's across the street. You can enter off of Boylston St or Newbury St.

This store has great deals, but the store is trashed on weekends by selfish shoppers and the staff does not make enough attempts to pick up after them. The store is reminiscent of the old Filene's Basement downtown where nothing was where it should be - but the deals were great if you were lucky to find your size. Shoe deals for men women and kids are abound. Nearly everyone in the checkout line was purchasing shoes.

I work in the area so i pop in daily. I absolutely love this place. You must be willing to dig for a deal though. This particular location reminds me of filenes basement which i loved as well. Ive found tops for $0.01 muliple times while shopping here. My co workers are always amazed at what i come back with!

I went for the "Clear The Rack Sale" there were very few actual sale sections, maybe 3 or 4 racks. It is a pretty standard Nordstrom Rack, Jackets, Shoes, Sweaters, Shirts and Suits. The womans section seems much bigger and might have a better variety.

I bought some incredible clothes here this election was much better than others that I've been to I normally only shop at Nordstrom but this rack actually had clothing that you would find at the store which is not always the case with such outlet shopping

Good place for discounts on higher end clothing. They have many things that are available year round, while other items rotate with the seasons. A bit less hit-or-miss than TJ Maxx/Marshalls. Prices, while discounts, may still not be cheap. They do have a sizeable men's and women's section, though they offer more products for women.

i bought a very cool fringe microsuede jacket at the N/R in February. i did like the selection of large not loose tunics for women as an alternative to tight fitting clothes. i bought a phone charger here which includes its own cable attachment that is plugged into the cell phone.

Fabulous markdowns! I purchased a blouse original price $198. New price $58. Huge markdowns on North face parkas, jackets and vests. Great selections on famous sunglasses such as gucci, fendi, kate spade, maui Jims , Ray Bans and many moore!

Walked through here with my wife to be the other day and it looked like a Toys 'R Us after christmas! Clothes strewn about the floor, very limited sizing but I guess that's to be expected when you're shopping in an "outlet" setting. Maybe I expected more after shopping in some of the flashier shops on Newbury but I will say this... There were probably 20 people in line in front of me when I got in line so my girl could keep shopping but I was at the register in under 5 minutes. Nothing really caught my eye but my lil wifey found some good stuff, not the typical Newbury experience but glad we checked it out!
