This was my first time there and I loved it. My kind of store. I found a variety of pet supplies for the dogs. I got Christmas presents for them at awesome prices. There were so many different things to look at. Have already been recommending them to friends and family!!

I am digging this new store!! It is the big sister we didn't know existed in the Marshalls family of stores. She is mostly neat and tidy (Please big sister Sierra, stay tidy!!), full of fun outdoorsy items from legit branded ski gear to off brand cheaper stuff for fashion. I have found a few useful items in my three recent trips since discovering my new sister-friend-store. I appreciate that the prices range from "interested in a dabble" to "I took a withdrawal from the college fund" since I'm a bit more on the dabble side, but I've picked out my "freshman year is community college" next set of mittens.

Didn't know it moved to this location, much better spot for it than tucked behind home depot along the freeway. First time actually in a Sierra store, I was impressed. A lot of outdoorsy type stuff and high end brands for cheap.

Great deals! We blew a wad! Seems like a tradition now! Hint: Leave your wallet in the car, so you have to really think if it is worth it to go back out and get it or put the cart full of clothes back.

Sierra Trading Post has a lot of brand name higher end stuff for about half price. The racks of clothing are a bit disorganized with pants in 3 different sections, sizes mixed together, etc. Keep an eye on the receipt, I had two items scanned twice and didn't realize it until I was headed out of town (I don't live in the same part of the state), I ended up paying for those two items twice, and only getting one of each. Staff in the store wander through occasionally, but don't seek you out to offer help or answer questions. Checkers are nice, but as mentioned in the receipt sentence, mine wasn't overly concerned with attention to detail. Overall, though, some good deals to he had for sure.

Great place to find deals on outdoor gear and clothing. Don't just assume everything is a great deal though, do your research. Customer service was super friendly and I find the ship to store very convenient. It is always busy, so don't be surprised if you have to wait in line for a while.

always a fun trip when I come to Sierra trading Post. There's always tons of treasures that you can find and they'll never have any idea if you're going to actually get what you were looking for. Prices are phenomenal, selection is pretty good, but what do you expect from an outlet store?

Great store! Amazing prices from camping equipment, biking, hiking and everyday (even saw some inflatable SUP boards in the beginning of the season). Like any other clearance store, the products are ever changing but they still have a great selection -even in the clothing section. Their shoe prices are phenomenal! I got a pair of New Balance running shoes for about $30, that's how good the prices are. I can't say enough about this store, I think I've told every one of my friends about it. Great prices and selection, who could want more than that.

Surprisingly good prices on jeans, flannel shirts and more. The sale rack was a bargain-hunter's dream. One teen found perfectly-fitting new Wranglers for $15. Other home goods and camping items as well with good prices. Its a smaller store, with helpful staff. Nice find!

Sierra didn't dissapoint! Huge store with great selection. Found really good priced, brand name athletic wear. They have gear for sports, camping, dogs, kitchen etc. The clearance is amazing. Found a charger with a powerbank for $2.50 and it works great! Too bad I dont live close by :(

Want to score some deals on some high quality name brands? Sierra Trading Post has you covered! It is like outlet shops for hundreds of companies in one location, but don't hesitate to pick up that deal when you see it the first time- odds are that it won't be there again! Update: what is with the checkout process? The last three times we were there on a busy day the checkout process was incredibly long and slow. Be prepared for it to take awhile to get out of the store if you are purchasing. Two other people in line abandoned their purchases while we were in line waiting. This has to cost the company sales... We witnessed it. ( Docking one star)

We always like to stop in when we’re in town. Sometimes we find something that’s a good deal, sometimes not. It’s that kind of place. Items sold here are often discounted due to being close outs of factory seconds. Good selection of both seasonal and off-season clothing and outdoor gear. Also a good selection of kids clothes and games. Awhile back STP was purchased by the same company as TJ Max and Home Goods so their selection of household goods has increased. If you order online they ship fee to the store. Very convenient.

I love having a discount outdoor store in our area. I have found numerous killer deals here. They work well with their online store too and easily take returns. They are moving next month to the Village in Meridian which will be wonderful because they are moving right next door to Marshalls.

My goal was to choose a backpack as a gift. The store was well stocked and had more to choose from than I could have imagined. Everything from the most serious techie packer to the traditional day hiker in all price ranges. After I found the perfect backpack I browsed the women's clothing and found an amazing washable casual sweater made in a new fabric combination I had never seen before. This was a great shopping experience for me. I will definitely be back.

I miss the old Sierra Trading Post as it offered a more outdoor outfitter feel to it. The newer location almost feels like a TJ Maxx/Marshall's with more outdoor based brands. Still a good place to shop, but the values of the past are harder to find.

Used to shop at the old Sierra Trading Post all the time when it was by the Meridian Winco. The new store is nice looking and staff are nice enough but much prefer the old store. The inventory has changed a lot. Used to go home with a bag full of cute clothes but now I'm lucky if I find one thing I like. They don't seem to carry the same brands they did before being bought out. Also, used to have a lot of outdoor clothes now it's mostly exercise clothes. Couldn't find women's button up shirts for hiking/fishing like you used to. Sad because this used to be my go-to store!

Can't beat Sierra Trading Post for quality footwear at killer prices! Got a pair of the same running shoes I bought last year for $139(on sale) at running store for only $34.99 @ Sierra!!! So they are last season, so what!!! Brand new and great running shoes! And amazing deals on quality active wear all year long in nicer brands. LOVE THIS STORE!!! And staff is awesome and helpful!

After shopping on their website for almost a decade, this was the first time that I had been in one of their physical stores. The store was pretty busy because it was right after Christmas, but it was fairly disorganized and looked like a lot of items had been stuffed on the shelves. You never know what you're going to get in these stores so you have to be flexible with what brand or item you're looking for but they have some great deals if you can be patient.

The sleeping bags and backpacks that are not on clearance are still a little pricey, however, they're below average prices you'll find at any other store / online. Anything on clearance is a steal. Would recommend as a first stop shop for any outdoors lover. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The store can feel cluttered at times but it is overall organized and kept clean. Products come and go quickly so if you find a deal grab it. Staff is very "hands off" so you may need to ask for help if needed. They are a good place to find great deals on name brand outdoor gear and clothing. I've also found wonderful things for my puppy including toys, treats, and collars/leashes.

Great deals to be had! Only problem with Sierra is it's kind of hit-or-miss. They do have everything from luggage to fishing to hiking to kayaking to men's women and children clothes pet stuff.if you're looking for a specific item I would call ahead though and see if they have it. Its a dangerous place for me. I love to stop and see what deals might be hiding there for me on their clearance racks. There is almost always something. The staff are nice and helpful but don't hover or pressure. It is a great place to go for almost any outdoor sporting needs.

You need to be flexible and shop often to find good bargains. I find it difficult to find good deals there when I'm shopping for something specific. A lot of the "bargains" I see on the racks are still too expensive. This stuff must have been CRAZY expensive when priced for regular retail. But occasionally I do find something.

This place was awesome when they would send out coupon codes. Since TJ Maxx has bought them out, I'm finding less good deals and no more coupons. We used to buy all of outdoor gear here for our family of four, but won't be able to afford to if they don't bring back the bonus coupons. The staff have always been awesome, and for the most part, the store is clean and checkout is smooth. Bring back the coupons!

Sierra Trading Post sells outdoor products front line retailers didn't sell. I find the quality of their offerings "top notch" if maybe last season's fair. They may not have exactly the outdoor item you want but you'll likely find something close and for less than front line retailers. The new location in "The Village" off Eagle and Fairview Roads seems more logically organized than the previous location near I-84.

Everything is usually well organized but sometimes you will find just what you are looking for hidden in an odd corner. This place has really really good prices on stuff it's a hit-and-miss I've gotten some Carhartt pants from there and some Wrangler Riggs but I got a nice under armour lunch pail from there and it's amazing I love it it was only like twenty bucks also the online is just as good but they have more selection.

I've bought from Sierra Trading Post online for years, but never lived in a place that had a physical store of theirs until moving here. This branch is doing all right. The store is ample and well stocked with a diverse inventory, their staff are helpful and courteous, and their fitting rooms are conveniently located in a hub in the middle of the sales floor.

I went there to find work boots. Not a bad place to find deals. Not great customer service. I was there about 1 hr & not one clerk asked if I needed help, however they seemed quite able to greet other customers. Then when I went to check-out the clerk asked if I wanted to sign up for their program. She seemed upset when I declined & kept shoving the shoe boxes into me.

It was a good location. I went there for in store pickup and browsed around. All the shoes were either overpriced or out of stock. I range from a size 10.5 - 11.5 depending on brand, and they just didn't have anything in that range. It was disappointing.

I went to pick up a pair of shoes ordered online, shipped to store. I tried them on in store and found that I needed a half size larger. The cashier easily processed my refund ( it was confirmed by PayPal to my email on the spot). She then reordered the shoe size I needed on her computer , I paid, and will return in a week to get my new pair. All completed in about 15 minutes.

I had forgotten about this great store. Well worth the drive from Boise. We tried it as a last resort after looking at Dick's, REI, and the like for little kid size shoes. Found many shoe choices: Merrell, Keen, Plae and more all less than $30. Travel accessories, backpacks, clothes, camping gear, etc. Essentially anything you need for an adventure. Left the store with more than shoes because the prices and selection were took good to pass up.

The prices are so good, I love REI but I always go to Sierra first for my backpacking/outdoor needs and only go to REI if I can’t find it here. This store is able to sell top brand merchandise at a fraction of the MSRP. I picked up some Asolo hiking boots this month, for over 50% off of the full asking price at other stores. They do provide military discounts for those that served, which gives you an extra 10% off of their already great prices.

They need to get the dressing rooms back OPEN!! Many, many clothing stores have now opened back up their dressing rooms, and Sierra Trading Post needs to follow suite! It’s VERY inconvenient and frustrating to try and buy clothes without being able to try them on, and with a pandemic 😷 going on... seems a lot more “risky” to have customers make returns on clothing that has been taken into their homes, etc., rather than just try them on in the store.

Unbelievable customer service! I decided to purchase new hiking boots for my birthday this year. Purchased Alico $374 boots for $211; thought it was a great deal. When I got home I found an online price for $111. Store manager refunded the difference back to me over the phone. Then he did me one better, he pulled a second pair of Alicos off the shelf that I had wanted and held them for me. They were originally $317, purchased for $125. Two pairs for a total of $266. It will take time to break in these all leather Italian Alico boots, however I am reading on line that people are getting ten thousand miles a pair out of their boots and then re-treading. By rotating these boots with the others I own I am planning to stay in top shape in hopes of making a thru hike in the spring.

Sierra Trading Post is a gem in the gem state that we should feel lucky to have. A part of the TJ Maxx Marshalls empire, Sierra focuses on outdoor and performance clothing you would find at REI for about half the price. I have purchased so many items, but an example is....I bought new ski coats for my kids last year, 2 are North Face and a Spyder coat, all 3 for $320. The retail price was $1150 or $1160!
