Ordered an outfit for my daughter. Was a sweater and pants combo. Despite ordering together the items were shipped separately. Received part of the order in time for Xmas but had to call after Xmas to get an update on the pants. After looking into it they said the pants were "lost in transit" they cancelled the order, ordered them again, and sent them within 3 days. Honestly still happy because that specific outfit was double the price at other stores so I feel I got a really good deal despite the delivery issues that were likely due to the delivery driver and not JCPenney.

Please, please clean your women’s restroom on main level by shoes. Very unsanitary. Stuff on the walls dripping down, blood smears on female hygiene containers. Very disappointed!

I have never seen inventory so low. No wonder everyone is preaching to get your Christmas shopping done now. Heaven only knows when those ships and cargo will come in. Still we had soso service. I was just a little confused as to why my friend and I bought identical things and hers rang up cheaper and they didn't offer an explanation. I used my Penny's card and she used a regular cc. They told me that's just the way it was. She started to open an account and decided not to. Perhaps they gave her a larger discount because they thought she was going to open an account. I don't know. I still like what I chose and I'll just watch the register closer next time.

I was shopping for my elderly aunt at the Boise Towne Square store. I was pretty stressed out as she has been very sick and I wanted to find some pretty clothes for her. She is a plus size and I have no experience shopping in that department. Finally a sales clerk came by and asked if I needed help. I am taking the time to write this review because of her. Her name is Peggy. She was the most helpful and friendly department sales person I've ever come across. She offered suggestions, listened to what I was looking for. Took the time to find the right size in the styles I liked. She even went in back to see if there was more stock on one particular item I liked. She answered my questions about plus size clothing. She's worth a million and I do hope she is appreciated. I went back today for the sale and remembered me in the customer service line! I hope to find her again when I can take my aunt with me. The only negative thing I have to say is the stock in 3X clothing isn't very good. But that's not her fault. Thank you Peggy!!! I'll always look for you when shopping at this store.

Bought online picked up at store. Experience was reasonable, but signage at the store - for where to get your pickup items was very poor! Ended up walking around the upstairs floor halfway around. Came in on the Bottom Level. No signage outside - at all regarding pickup in store. Didn't offer bringing it to the car as an option.

Every once in awhile i have a bad customer service experience. Usually, the staff is great. I mostly order online though and pick up in store when necessary. They could improve on the online store pick up process. Usually have to wait forever. Overall, I enjoy their members benefits and shopping is easy for our family of 6. They always have good deals.

I'm disabled and have difficulty getting into an out of the chairs, and she was so helpful in trying to make me as comfortable as possible. She did an excellent job in styling my hair. She found a style that fit my features and made me look GOOD. 😉 I definitely recommend Diane if you're looking for a great stylist.

If you go at the right time it's not busy but this review is based off my visit on black Friday, it was very busy compared to a normal day but the stores were able to keep up and I never had to wait to long. Normal day are never that busy and you can be in and out in a very short time and people are nice and can help with questions. Highly recommend compared to the meridian mall.

There may be no one on earth who hates shopping as much as I do, but I was thrilled today when Sonia helped me out in the ladies' clothing department. She was busy, and I interrupted her, but she immediately found what I needed, going through stacks of clothes to help me, and saved me a TON of time and frustration. Always a good store to browse with high quality goods. Hopefully stays open, loved getting stuff from sephora as well. Sad to see corona put them into bankruptcy. This particular location right now has one set of doora open to make sure customers are complying wearing face mask during corona.

I've never really shopped at JCPenney very much but recently started as I moved near one. I have had excellent customer service on every trip in and have been amazed at some of the great deals. We haven't used enough of their products yet to determine an accurate quality rating but I'm more likely than ever before to recommend them.

I found some great pants there and they weren't super expensive. Store was clean and well organized. No one helped me find anything I didn't see any staff. The changing rooms were an absolute mess I left one and had to search for another set which was still pretty messy but I found enough space to close the door.

I was looking for a specific item and the young clerk was able to take me directly to what I was looking for! I got in line with five customers in it and only one Clerk. When she noticed the length of the line she called for help and within a minute there were four salespeople. I was checked out in 2 minutes :-)

So i had been meaning to go back to the jewelry dept for a care protection issue but busy life hadn't allowed it, so I thought I had plenty of time Saturday evening , well when I actually got to the counter it was 9 pm on the dot. The gal working was Lynn, what a gracious and helpful person. She not only stayed late to help with my concern, she let me see and buy an item I was interested in from the showcase, all with an awesome attitude. I know there are online options, but I think most woman will still prefer to buy from the store so we can try things on before buying. With this online threat, you would think they would step up their game with service and quality products. They haven't. Very discouraged. Perhaps it is just this location. The lady that helped us litterally stated that the item we were looking for was "right over there somewhere" while pointing in the general direction. I'm not a window shopper. I want to get in and out.

I love the clothes here at JC Penney, they are really polished and you can find some very good deals if you look hard enough. There are a lot of good deals right now on women's clothes, however, and not so much for men. That being said, I bought a nice shirt and sweater here for work for about $25 total, which is still a very good deal. I was able to order my clothes online, try them on, and then return anything I didn't like in person at the store. My wife also found some really good deals on women's shirts (two shirts for under $5). We are very happy with our clothes from JC Penney, and we'll definitely shop here again!

You have got to get in and take advantage of these holiday deals they are having. Found numerous pieces of clothing, especially a belt, which for some reason had become quite difficult to find. Lots of fun bar type games for gifts and for our own resturant.

Having trouble finding feet pjs for 12 months. I called associate 843, sad I do not remember her name, she went and picked 4, gave me the variety of prices and held them until I showed up. I had a great experience today overall. At first, I was a little frustrated because they transfered me a couple times to the right check out place for an online return. Then Kassity at the jewelry department started to help me with my return. I feel so glad that she could help me out. It was a complicated return and repurchase situation, but she was very sweet and patient. She explained everything so well. I ended up keeping my stuffs and even opened a JCPenny card. JCPenney's is okay but the clothing options are fairly generic. You are able to get basically the same thing at Walmart for a much lower price point. The household items are also very much lower at Walmart. The customer service is acceptable but overall not really worth having to go to the mall

We visit the Salon....and everytime we have had a great experience. From great hair cuts to excellent customer service. If it weren't for Penney's, it would be hard to afford haircuts for the kids. I think there is a belief that better stylists exist in privately owned salons, however, that's just not been our experience at the Boise or Twin Falls Penney's salons. Ryleigh and Ricu were great with my boys in Boise!

One of the managers here, Laura, was very attentive to my three children and me! The JCP photo gals were late coming back from lunch, so I was stressed having to wait to pickup my photo order. Laura made sure to find me a shopping cart to help hold my baby while we waited, and she checked back in with me two more times to make sure I was being taken care of. The reason it meant so much is that JCP photography is not even connected with the rest of the store apparently. It just rents the space. But Laura still took ownership for us having a good experience.

The staff were friendly but the archaic computer system they have to work with is frustrating. I ordered on line and they couldn't tell me if the product was going to be there or if it was out of stock so I had to "wait and see".

Jcp honestly has it all. The nampa store is always friendly and you seriously can't find better coupons for extra savings. Christmas to back to school. Do yourself a favor and start at penney's. This is what happens when you minimally staff a department store: every section is a disaster area, long lines to make a purchase, incorrectly tagged items.. It’s really not worth the time.
