I stopped by to pickup a curbside order I had placed yesterday and of course remembered a few things I needed to go in and buy!🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyway, I was looking for something specific in the boys/mens section and the female sales associate I interacted with was all-around phenomenal!! She was sweet, polite, helpful, and patient! I couldn’t find the item I was looking for and she helped me without making me feel like she just wanted to hurry up and get on with something else and was so patient and awesome!! I really wish I had looked at her name tag so that I could compliment her by name, but she was working at the 280 Target on Friday August 12, 2022 in the boys/mens section around 9-930 am. She was excellent and the type of employee that makes you feel welcome, seen, and heard!!

Clean and well- stocked. Friendly and helpful staff. They didn't carry a couple of basic items that I can generally find anywhere else, so I had to go to another store. (Only reason it's not 5 stars:)

Like most Targets, this store has excellent customer service and an ample variety of goods, groceries, and clothing. Also like most Targets, they're a little more expensive than I'd like, but I still prefer shopping here.

Delivery orders have been good, better than most places. Shoppers are usually good about checking with me about substitutions and also asking if I need anything else that wasn’t in my order. I’ve used pickup once, and it went well. Quick and the employee was friendly. I’ve gone in store once for a return and that was quick and painless too. Friendly employees. I rarely shop in store anywhere, but I’m sure shopping in store here will be nice too.

I had to hop on and praise Cynthia! She was our check out clerk and just bubbling over with kindness and sunshine. She was chatting with the guest in front of me like they were old friends, then treated me the same way. She happily gave my boys stickers and told me how precious and wonderful they were. She looked me in the eye and said warmly, "It's an honor and a privilege to serve you today," just because she 100% felt that way. She radiates gratitude and joy and Target is lucky to have her! We've had awesome experiences with other employees too, I wish I remembered their names better. This is a well staffed location 💗

This target always has exactly what I need when it comes to school shopping. I mostly order online, but whenever I have an in store pick up they are always efficient. I encountered Zuri M., a target employee, and she was amazing. Great customer service and she helped me get the things I needed.

Made a purchase with a pick up it was great! No waiting they came right out delivered it to my car I probably wasn't there five minutes then I had to do a return, that was awesome to in and out of the store in less than five minutes I can't say enough good things about target customer service

This target is just like all the other targets. If you like Target, you will like this one. If you do not like Target, you probably will not like this one either. I purchased a LEGO, specifically a star wars starship to resell on eBay. The worker let me know how fun it looked, and if it was possible to come over and help me put it together ( my daughter was with me ). Read into that what you will. Cheers!

I went into this Target in search of an old gray Goat ! A boots and Barkley dog toy two of my 4 dogs adore ! Target has recently discontinued this & I was in a panic to get a backup or two for my sweet golden , Scooter! Luckily for me I ran into a fantastic employee, “ JT “ in the pet area stocking shelves . I described this toy & he immediately said “ I think there are some in the back “ . I told him to bring ALL of them! Lol he did brig me 6 of these sought after goats ( I had even bought one on eBay the week before !! ) This employee went above and beyond & I can’t find any way yo tell Target on 280 how lucky they are to have such an asset they have !

Target is the rich mans walmart. They do try and set themselves apart. Store was a little picked over today with back to school right around the corner. They have a Starbucks And a cafe so not all is lost.

Great experience! I was so lost and frustrated trying to use target app but Marcus really helped me alot! He priced everything I had and even helped me look for a few things I had in my cart. He went out his way to make sure I had everything I needed before I left. He definitely made my shopping experience worth the drive and time. Good job target!

Love the grocery area. The produce is usually very fresh, and well maintained. The rest of the store is fairly well stocked, and the employee’s on the floor are always nice, and ask if you need any help, when they are in an area. The only reason I have removed a star, is some of the cashiers seem to be lacking some training. They seem a little lost on what to do at times. No one is ever rude or angry, but you can just tell they aren’t as trained as maybe they should be, in comparison to the many other Targets I have been to.

My roommates and I were shopping on Black Friday once everything calmed down. We noticed a super creepy man following us around the entire store so we let the cashiers know at checkout. They so kindly called security to walk us out to the car and made sure we drove off safely. Thank you for your amazing safety protocols regarding your customers. It does not go unnoticed.

The store I saw is amazing and hard working people and always nice. Very nice staff and place. Helpful customer service. Edit: This store is really awesome but has a lower rating than Walmart in 280. However I think it's a better store than Walmart, staff is friendly and hardworking. Allot of their shelves is very organized and has great service. Honestly, this store should have a higher rating like a 5 star. Continuing on, their store closed down the cafe due to covid 19, which is a good idea but there Starbucks location in target is still open. If you haven't known about targets diners, they have two diners other than Walmart, has their own cafe and a Starbucks cafe, which is nice to see more options. Targets cafe as a good selection of foods like pizza or slushies. Store enforces social distancing rules to keep every one safe. However a select few of people would not wear their mask. Toy section is very organized and isn't empty. Once a shelf is empty, a worker would restock the shelf so there wouldn't be a problem. Workers work hard enough to make this store good and they are still doing good. This is one of my favorite stores ever! Edit 2: Bunch of fools making 1 star reviews, a bunch of liars in my opinion, please, target is better than walmart. Edit 3: blasters in target have a great selection of dart blasters.

During my brief visit this morning i had a pleasant experience with your sales associate Rachel. i met them while they were restocking some shoes so i assume that is their department, however i came to them with an inquiry from the men's clothing department. What i was met with was swift and efficient service. They helped me check if there was an item in stock and then subsequently told me where it was in stock elsewhere, since you guys did not have the product. i will now be on the hunt for how to submit a target review so there is more recognition on the corporate side of things. I honestly don't shop much at Target and it's not because I don't like them it's just hard to get there when you have to pass numerous Walmart's on the way there. But I stopped in the other day for the first time in a while as it turns out I needed a xbox game that everyone else had for the full 60 dollars but they had for 19 99 . Yup surprised me too I did some walking around while I was there and they got some good stuff in there I will definitely be back here for a few more things really soon...

I guess the only real issue here is that they never have a big selection of what I’m looking for AND they only have 1-2 of what you want on the shelf. They have a good selection on greeting cards, for instance, but only 2-3 cans of the dog food you might want to buy. I am accustomed to shopping at Walmart or Publix where there is a larger selection of the items they actually carry.

I have been a Target shopper for almost thirty years, but my last two visits have been less than expected. No cashiers in check out lines any more? Is that the future? I do it all myself? Target and I are about to part ways if that's the case. I'm not wanting to weigh my produce and bag my groceries myself.

I love being able to shop quickly and efficiently in a store that is tidy & well laid out. The Birmingham 280 Corridor store is a large-scale SuperTarget model, but seems to have significantly less traffic than others I have encountered all over the country. It is a bit of a hidden location. Maybe Bham just likes it's Walmarts better. However, I question how well the management supports the cashiers in the store. Until today, I've never seen what I felt was different. Supervisors in other stores seem to be more "on the floor" & "in tune" with the traffic of the store. However, I question how well the management supports the cashiers in the store. When my cashier seemed to be experiencing cash register issues with the customer before me, & then me, as well, I suggested calling for a supervisor. She seemed mortified. The supervisor came, the cashier explained the issue & only resolution was to tell me to pay with another method. The supervisor mentioned moving the cashier to another register, but by my observation did not once I was checked out.

Always love target. Very convenient and helpful staff. I have certain waters that we get on the regular, and they seem to be a hot item bc they sell out fast. I have a staff member pull the sku and get me a case or two at no problem every time. We can snag our usual items and always tend to explore for more. Kids clothes check, novelty Ts check, check out the electronics always a must. Target rocks!

The Target order and pick up is very easy and convenient just load your cart buy your items then follow the instructions on from the email that your order is ready to pick up either in store which you need your ID or drive up where you leave info on the vehicle they need to look for then a code which you then click at store. Sales person loads your car asks for code and done

For some reason, someone either removed the price tags on quite a few of the swumsuits that I looked at, or they were never put on. The highlight of my visit was the cashier, she was extremely nice to everyone in front of me, and equally as kind to me. Looking at my receipt, I see her name is.... Unfortunately, they don't put the employee's name on the receipt. How unfortunate.

Convenient but limited choices in food dept. - like no good frozen biscuits, sliced pimento but no diced, little dill relish available, terrible selection of IPA beer and other varieties. Assistance is hard to find but very helpful when you get to speak to someone. Poor selection of dog food and treats. I find myself going there less and less because of limited selection in all departments.

The clerk at the customer service counter was very cordial.. He helped me with my return and didn't have a nasty attitude or act like I was inconveniencing him like some of them do whenever you have to bring back the new outfit that you were unable to try on before you purchased it because every single Target had every single dressing room closed due to COVID19 so now you are forced to utilize their store return policy and God forbid bring something back..

I want to commend William in the electronics department. I went to Target to get a new phone. My phone was so old that transferring info from the old to the new proved to be very difficult. William did not give up. He found a way to transfer the info for this tech challenged 76 yr. old. Thank You William !!!!

Came here with my girlfriend and decided on a snack. Was told the banana was part of the combo deal (and was free) but we got charged for it. Then was told to just go over to the fruit section and grab a banana after bringing up to the cashier about being charged. At no point in the display menu does it say anything about a banana. This happened after being charged $1 for the chew bone. Doesn't seem like a lot but adds up when I buy a bunch for my dog. Customer service corrected that problem right away though and I'm happy about that.

I could pick my item 2 hours after ordering it online! Unlike other retail stores like Walmart and Amazon that make you wait 2 days, either for a free store pickup or ship to home! Target let’s you pick your order the same day!!!
