I had an excellent shopping trip to this store at Rimrock Mall. You gotta go check out the back of the store where the bath and sleeping goods are located. They have some real nice clearance and regular items. I bought a artificial palm plant, 2 pillows, a picture frame (it's awesome and old school). All for less than $50! I will definitely be going back to JC Penney! The staff are really nice and helpful too! Have a great day.

There inventory is smaller and I wonder how much longer they will be open. Place is always clean and helpful employees. Shopped there for almost 50 years. Used to buy most all of my clothes there.

Had a gift card I know it had $20 dollars on it and when I went to check out all of a sudden there was nothing on it after she swiped it 3 times. Manager was called and she had to clue what she was doing at all I finally gave up on the gift card and paid and left. I know in the state of mt gift card balances never expire

Love JCPenney's, it's coming back by going back, I grew up in a generation of Sears, Montgomery Wards and Jc. Penny. Sadly words is completely gone except for just a catalog and Sears is sadly come to a horrible situation. Which didn't have to happen, I am so glad to see at JCPenney's was not rooted up and gutted and stripped of everything it had by activist investors, and creepy handed fund operators. The loss of JCPenney's would have just been a loss of another Choice funneling more money into the massive conglomerate Walmart has become. Go to Penny's to see if you can buy high quality items much better than what you buy at Walmart for the same price or even cheaper than Walmart. I bet you can. I love local and I love train stores, responsible ones I say. Way to go Pennies!

Nice girl waited on us. Lacking in selection of larger woman's clothing. So sad to see empty shelf's and covered registers. Had to walk through mall to get into the store. All outside doors locked due to lack of help.

Love, love this store it's a shame that JCPENNEY is closing their doors. I hate ordering clothes on line and then dealing with sending stuff back, I would prefer to see and try on rather than looking at pictures and trying to imagine what it would look like on me.

Great place to shop! Usually helpful staff. However, since the pandemic they need to step up their customer service. I checked out and walked to the closes exit to get to my vehicle to find the door closed off. When customers are checking out, be mindful that they are probably looking for the exit. Communicate to your customers. :) I love shopping here ❤

The female cashier actually charged me twice for an active top I purchased. I wonder if she knew she had done it because I mentioned to her how funny it was that it came out to 28 something as of 109 she said it would cost before I decided if to buy. Myself verbally assuming to her, wow that's quite a bit taxes, forgetting their were no taxes in Montana since I was only visiting. Why she said nothing at that moment; as if she knew she was gonna pocket the extra 22 dollars at the end of her shift?

I needed a decent sports coat and I didnt want to spend hundreds of dollars to get something I'm only going to wear a few times a year if that. I was able to find one with the help of some knowledgeable staff and the price was pretty good. They have a little bit of everything and it isnt too pricey. I tend to shop here when they have sales cause I know I'm getting a good deal. The only down side is they like to push their credit card on you a bit strongly. I get it, it's profit for them, but no means no.

My husband and I were in the Billings, MT store on Monday to return and reorder a different size of clothing. We went to the returns counter. There was a long line, but there were 3 cashiers all handling the returns efficiently. We went to a young man and he gave us excellent, professional service and handled our return/exchange in a timely manner with superior customer service. While shopping in another department we received the same superior customer service from another young lady in the Home Department. Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience during this busy Christmas season. It is evident your leadership/manager holds customer service as a top priority as evidenced through the employees courteous and helpful attitudes. Only complaint is only one door is open, really seems silly when everyone is required to wear a mask and there definitely isn't a crowd shopping. I knew what I wanted but had to walk through the whole store to get to the desired location.

Got my hair done at salon yesterday. I asked for Ananda again when I made my appointment. Last time was a wonderful experience. This time was even better! Did exactly like I wanted with my dimensional color and cut. She gives knowledgeable advice. Knows what's she is doing. She is a professional but also such a kind, personable woman. I enjoy talking to her. Believe me, I will see her again in 3 months. After that I went to purchase other items and was checked out by Liesa in another department. Also exceptional service. She was so kind and friendly. Penney's has two exceptional employees. I am glad to be a customer!

I came in late with my 2 young children and even though they were closing in 20 min everyone was kind and the woman who rang up my things helped me carry my things and walked my daughter to our car I was super impressed unlike the time before when I was being watched and followed it was uncomfortable. I was shopping for my oldest school clothes. They are watching the wrong people every time I've gone in I have spent over 200 so if they have a theft problem its because they are paying attention to the wrong people.

Rosa, in the Women's Department in JC Penny's Rimrock Mall in Billings Montana, was the best shop assistant I've experienced in years, in any store, in any town. I was helping my elderly mother find some pants and Rosa was heaven sent. She knew her stock and went out of her way to help us find what my mother was looking for. Rosa is a great representative of what true customer service is about. In fact, I went back again the next day (without my elderly mother) and bought things for myself just because of Rosa.

Though floor cleark asked if i was doing ok never suggested to take some clothes in my arms to help or ask to help get a size when i asked about it.In other depts was totally ignored, clerks talking while customers had to help each other out on products, quailty etc..
