this Walmart doesn't have the food selection of the others close by but it's my favorite one to shop at. All the employees are very nice and helpful, and the sporting good selection is the best. Less crowded and craziness

This Walmart is the Best . The employees are so helpful when you can't find something or have a question. I do know that people from surrounding areas come just to go to this location on Carroll Island road. It's the only Walmart that usually is fully stocked when all their items. The store is clean and neat. The managers are always right there to help you if there's a problem. I know just about every employee by name in the last 17 years that I have been shopping here. I highly recommend Walmart Carroll Island road.

This was the second time in a week I had to go here. I wish they had more youth sizes for clothing. It is either smaller children or adults. Also was a little hard locating PJ'S for smaller sizes women. All in all though I was able to buy what I needed

Great friendly and fast service! Great price on tires for my daughters 2013 Toyota Tacoma. Well after placing the review above 4 days ago after having the tires installed I had to bring the truck back to have the tires balanced and they are still shaking like crazy! I had to bring it to my dealership to have them road balance them and they said that they are out of balance. My dealership said that there were weights all on the inside of the rim and nothing on the outside which doesn't make sense. I will update my review once I get a final on my service but dropping my star rating from 5 to 3 at this point.

Most of the time this Walmart has what you're looking for since covid it's hit and miss but the majority of the time they do I have had a couple of people that I know have told me that they were followed by what they believed was store security but they paid for their stuff went up to the front and then the person who was following them was out front so they looked over at them and said see I pay for my stuff I don't steal and the person just look back at them and smiled but as much as Steph's are up you really can't blame them it's not like they stop them and search them or anything

11/22/21--Walmart is my store. I can see the layout and design of the store perfect. All the isles that I went down were stocked with products. All I can say is I am pleased with Walmart along with the prices and how the cashier waited on me. Very pleasant and professional.

I come here every time I need a new set of tires. I highly recommend ordering your tires through Walmart's website and having them shipped here, as they don't have the space to store all of the possible models and sizes available. Waiting a week for the tires to come in is well worth the hundreds in savings versus taking what is immediately available at any other tire slinger. This isn't my local Walmart, so I can't speak to its day to day operations, but the store is clean, well organized, and seems well stocked in all the regular things one would come to a Walmart for besides groceries

My daughter took me on her way to work so I could run in early in the morning to grab some dog food and a few things for her bunny but it wasn't my usual Walmart. Everything was in a different spot so I was pretty confused but no worries; the Walmart customer service team was amazing in Middle River/Essex, MD. They had me in and out so quick, I had to wait for my daughter outside to come back for me. Usually it's the other way around.

It's a smaller Walmart, but I prefer going here as suppose to the Super Walmart that shares a parking lot with Sam's club, Home Depot and multiple other stores. It is quieter and you can till find everything you need.

The store was very well stocked, neat, orderly and clean. The atmosphere was busy but calm. The sales persons were polite and displayed a great attitude. The front gentlemen in the auto department was consistently answering the phone, researching information, cashiering, while maintaining a positive disposition. The selection of items here are pretty good. Their tech department doesn't contain many choices and you will be waiting a while to check out. Past 7pm I've only ever seen 2 cashiers at the most.

Update: nothing has changed and now the app is giving incorrect price info when you scan items Sadly everytime I go to Walmart the app says things are in stock but they aren't on the shelves. Alot of stock to be out away but just stacked up in the isles and blocking products

Three Walmart stores are within 30 minutes of. This one is the closest. Not a supercenter but a well stocked store with mostly everything you look for and often one than you need. Clean store, good prices as always with Walmart. Good parking, shares a strip with a supermarket and a liquor store so one parking trip for three stops.

Ok let me start with..the customer service personnel were very helpful and pleasant, when I couldn't find something a very helpful steward directed me to the exact spots. And the store appeared relatively organized. The rest room however was DIRTY and SMELLED extremely bad.. 4 stars for personnel and in store appearance 3 stars for restrooms But my 5 star posting is because of the atmosphere of the store. While sure the employees wore "makeshift" bandit type mask -everywhere I turned the store was filled with customers who were not masked. I wasn't sure of the atore policy but in spite of that I just didn't get it. The lines were long as well so they allowed if you had 10 items or less to check out at customer service -that was convenient. I dashed right over there to get out quickly "in my mask 😷 ". My trip was so fast I didn't even take picture🤣🤣

I'm not used to the store but i just couldn't find everything I needed. Also no veggies at this location. Bought a rechargeable light but have to take it back, opened the box and when you find an electrical outlet in it, you know something is wrong. Also missing the charging cord and instructions. So somebody didn't do a good job on the returns.

This was my 1st experience at this Walmart I went to the auto center I bought 4 tires heading mountain balanced and put on my car and I also had a oil change. Everyone was super pleasant customer service above board my hats off to my mechanic. I had a wonderful experience and I will find myself coming back to this Walmart again when it's time for my oil change I know where I'm coming I will go the extra mile for customer service..

Overall this is one of my favorite Walmart’s in the area. It is not a super center and is a smaller Walmart (which is why I only give 4 stars) but it is significantly less crowded than the two nearby super centers. I can get just about everything I need there with a fraction of the traffic of the other stores. Always clean and well stocked.

I didn't know walmart was part zoo until a walrus with blond hair in short shorts said hi to me in the food isle as she munched down on an open bag of chips that she conveniently placed back on the shelves for other walrus to find and gather to. I've only been to the zoo as a kid and forgot the thrill of it so I'll be returning soon. I'm not too sure if I'm allowed to feed the animals there though if anyone can tell me?

I was told they no longer take back items on clearance. So don't buy something without trying it on in the store or you won't get a refund. Rosa the girl in customer service told another customer in front of me rudely, "throw it away or donate it!" Not all the clerks are like that though. There's several who are very kind and helpful. March 24th we stopped by Walmart. My daughter wanted to try a few things on. Shes disabled and has some issue with thinking quickly. Grace the clerk taking care of the dressing rooms asked her "how many?" Apparently Grace didn't think she was answering quickly enough and started snatching the clothes out of her arms. When I walked over and asked what was the matter the entire situation changed. She stopped harassing my daughter and showed her into the dressing room. My daughter called out to me to find another size and right away she starts barking that she needs to send one out. I turned and said, we already know that and I handed her a shirt back. We come here to shop and her attitude was very unnecessary and rude. Its people like us that are paying her salary with the things we purchase. So she needs to stop harassing people and profiling young Hispanic woman! Not everyone are thieves!!

This is not my local Walmart and only visited because I was in the area. The store was clean, had lots of Baltimore Ravens gear half off & employees were knowledgeable. The only downsides were the store is extremely outdated and the checkout line woz closed at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. I don't understand that..

Has just about everything you need. I just wish the staff were more knowledgeable about their products especially in the electronics department. I want to buy a gaming laptop in not only do they not have any thing I wanted in stock but said they did online so I ask questions about products that they did have in stock in the staff didn't know anything. Dundalk Walmart was actually better than 2 of the other Walmarts I went to looking for this gaming laptop. Carol island night time staff sucked the worst. Went back the next day and the day staff was much better

I've always had good experiences at this Walmart. The staff are friendly and accommodating and it's usually very nice and clean. The only real dislike I have is that the food selection is a bit limited (which is understandable, so it's not really a complaint so much as it is just an observation). Overall I love this location, definitely my favorite Walmart.

We went at 7 am. It was not many people. Although, a couple did not seem to be paying attention to the one way signs. Everyone I saw did have masks. The shelves were light on certain items. Overall, it's encouraging to see them working to keep it as safe as possible. Kudos to their hardworking employees!!!!

I don't have very much to complain about when I visit this store. Especially, if you compare this Wal-Mart location, to all the other surrounding Wal-Mart stores near me, in Middle River MD. I DO, however, wish that they'd be better with having more lanes open for check-out, the lines get so unbelievably long. The shoe's section needs a bench or something for, mainly, the children and seniors, for when they're wanting to sit down in order to be able to safely try on new shoe's. The jewelry section almost NEVER has any employees working the Jewelry section, so, I'm always havin' to find an associate to page an available employee. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤬

I have been shopping at Carrol Islands location since they opened and 1 thing is consistent, the shelves are never stocked and no variety. The employees are clueless and rude. The only reasons I do go (when I REALLY need too) is bc it is cleaner then the others, the prices and location. I absolutely REFUSE to go to Golden Ring Walmart, and so do all if my friends and family...even though it is closer. If not for the prices I would stick with Target.

One of the better Walmarts in our area, access is bad, but the store is clean and the staff are helpful. It is a Walmart so don't expect much, the newer updates make it feel more like a Target, but you soon stumble into the normal disorganized shelves and half-hearted stacking.

Checkout lines are ridiculously EVERY weekend... Looks like its Xmas Eve.. Lines are so long that they go back through aisles of the ladies clothing, making it crowded for shoppers who are trying to shop in the ladies depts.. They need to have more checkout lines open during theses busy times..

My husband and l have been very disappointed, the last few times we've shopped there. Many of the items we normally buy haven't been in stock, including pet foods. We have dogs, cats, birds and fish. We used to be able to shop for all our animals there but, lately we have had to end up going elsewhere. We used to get most of our pet supplies there but, now they're usually out of about half of what we need. Come on guys....It's pet food not sanitizer!!!

Walmart does have just about everything, and not to their fault, but it's usually RIDICULOUSLY busy and that makes it pretty messy from people pulling stuff out and just tossing it around. But this Walmart is still pretty nice, and most the employees are as well.

And I can expect that they will be out of at lease 2 to 3 items and I have a cat and sometimes they will just scan one can and count the rest they are not scanning every flavor that's why they probably don't have the right stock of them . I go to grocery store after to get meat and items not found in Walmart can't wait for super Walmart to get closer. Been to a few of them wow what a difference one stop shop but to far away.ButThat's not going to stop me from shopping this Walmart because of great location

Pretty much like most Walmart's! Not a super Walmart though! But they do have a good selection of food as well! Best part is they have a tire and oil shop! So when your shopping you can drop your car off and get it serviced also! I know they have decent prices on tires, I have bought some from there also! Quick in and out for the most part! I do recommend shopping here! 4 stars only bc they aren't a super Walmart! 🙂

This store is not a "super" Walmart. I normally shop at the Golden Ring store but inventory is limited. At this Carroll Island location they always have what I'm looking for. The stores outside appearance is ok. Inside set up is small and appears cramped but neat. Clean. Employees are friendly. Lines moves swiftly.

Love this one, it is way better then the one in Dundalk. And I went really late and it was awesome, hardly noone there the way Iike it. The staff and the other customers are alot friendlier and not rude like the one in Dundalk. I live in Edgemere and I refuse to shop at the Dundalk one. I will make the extra trip to drive to the one in Carroll Island.

A few days ago I realized I needed wiper blades, so I headed down to this walmart to partake in the rollback deals. It's tough out here, I cant afford Bosch right now I need them great value joints. Anyways, while perusing I seent a dingo rip a man's jawbone off in the automotive section. About ten seconds later, as homie is quickly becoming worm food, a land whale standing at about 4'11'' comes charging in on her rascal scooter and runs the poor little guy over. Who does that? I don't know, but it was hilarious. I love this place, I'm never going to another Walmart again.

Neat, clean, friendly and roomy, this is what you should expect from a Wal-Mart. The wait at The checkout line was markedly shorter then at other stores. If you plan on spending some time shopping at a Wal Mart, and you're not to far away, I would take the extra time to come here.

This is the cleanest and least chaotic Walmart on this side of Baltimore County! I have never had a problem finding a decent parking spot, nor are the lines ever as long as other Walmarts in the area. Even on Black Friday!!! I also use Walmart to cash my paycheck, and the customer service at this location is top notch! Very friendly and helpful CSMs! Only negatives are that they seem to run out of some items often (or they just don't carry them) and the security guard with the dreads is not very good at his job. I have witnessed him on more than a couple occasions not being very professional (I'll just leave it at that...). Also on a not so serious note, there always seems to be a large amount of trash/ debris on the lot.

Love the super-store on 43 and wish Walmart would have kept their promise to make the one in Carroll Island a super-store. The Carroll Island store does not keep their shelves stocked. You can buy something one day and go back to get it again and it won’t be there. Also 75% of the employees must hate their job because they are rude, they complain about whatever is going on that day, they expect you to move out of their way if you meet them in the aisles. The items on the shelves are unruly. Some of them do not want to help you if you need it. Not everyone is like that, but the ones that are make the whole place look bad.

Their customer service leaves much to be desired. The lady at the desk was more interested in flirting with some guy. Than taking care of the ever growing line. But there was a nice lady that witnessed the dysfunction and worked on the line herself. Then another lady (That worked there) began to go on this rant about how we MUST respect her because of who she is. I swear all we asked was where something was. It got to the point that she was screaming so loud that a supervisor came over apologize for the entire incident and told the worker to leave. But the worker wasn't heeding the warning. She began to come back to continue the one-sided argument. I literally felt like someone was going to come out and say it was all a joke. When this all began with a question. So I really don't know how to rate this location. 2 people that seemed as though work is the last place they wanted to be. And another 2 picked up the slack and did their best to contain the damage that was done.

I just moved around this location and the main thing to stick out is that it's smaller than the Wal-Mart I used to go to on Petrie Way. That being said, it's a minor inconvenience that I'll no doubt get used to. The pharmacy is good, grocery section is good (albeit a little out of place from what I'm used to, but I'll get used to that). All in all, a decent place.

Everyone from associate on the floor, cashier at the register, the guys who helped carry the heavy kids car to my car, customer service ladies who helped to hold on to the kids car that didn’t fit in my car:) to tbe manager of tonight shift who helped to make things easier for my husband to get this car that i just purchased an hour later without having me to sit there and wait an hour for him. Thank you guys! Also, all this was happening at around 11 pm, an hour before they close, and neither of the staff gave me hard times or attitude, everyone very nice and patient. Nice experience, surprisingly. Also, the staff at farmasy is amazing, always very friendly and helpful. Parking is convinient.

We always prefer the Carroll Island location ...its not a complete "SUPER" Wal-Mart but you can get just about everything minus the bakery / lunchmeat counter/ hot food. ... Also employees are SUPER friendly and helpful. The Petrie Wal-Mart location needs to take a lesson from this Wal-Mart because Carroll Island is how EVERY Wal-Mart should be .... Stocked ! Clean! Carroll Island Walmart is the best Walmart around the one on Pulaski Highway at Golden Ring sucks real bad just a check out will take you a half an hour so my suggestion to anybody who goes to Walmart go to the one in Carroll Island
