Love this Petco branch! The store is clean and well stocked every time I visit. But what really impressed me was the grooming team. They are so friendly and very experienced with grooming Samoyed fur and listened to all of my specifications. I will be coming back to get my Samoyeds groomed here regularly for sure! I recommend Jay to anyone who has a Samoyed!

Yvonne in grooming is amazing; honestly, the entire grooming staff. Everyone is friendly and inviting. My dog has been banned from a groomer because of her behavior, but my pup is no match for Yvonne and the other staff. They invited her back even though she bit them. I am excited to get my dog on a regular schedule and improve her anxiety with Yvonne and the Canton-Petco staff.

I walk here several times a week with my dog to get supplies for my wide variety of pets. The staff is always helpful and friendly to both me and my dog and I never have to wait in a long line. Sometimes prices are cheaper on their website, but they will price match it if you show them with no problems. If you don't want to do that though, you can always order online and just swing by to pick it up. Definitely my favorite pet store in the Canton area.

I love this location. I used to take my Frenchie all the time in the summer for walk, but unfortunately she passed away last week. The manager, Jessie, was absolutely lovely about it. Her passing was unexpected and I had a ton of unopened expensive canned food that she graciously took back. Will continue to take my future dog here. :)

I get supplies for my cat and fish here on a regular basis and the employees are so friendly and helpful. I also love to see the adoptable cats ! I took 1 star off because on more than occasion there were things that I needed and they were out of stock so I had to find them in other stores.

My experien e was excellent. I have taken my Gaston there for years. I was concerned when my groomer transferred to the Columbia store. I did not need to worry because my new groomer was excellent but I forgot her name. I hope someone there attaches her name to this text. Thank you Petsmart for hiring excellent groomers

Very pet friendly. Mostly easy to find help when it wasnt easy to find what you were looking foor. We had just adopted two wonderful kittens and needed everything for them. Petco gave us a special "new parent" booklet with coupons & advice.

Stopped in for treats and got a super sweet bed for Bambino. After mistakening buying the wrong size bed on several occasions, this bed was a relief. Huge and comfortable, so it can hug B when I cannot. Stop on in.

We used your self service dog wash. We loved how easy and convenient it was to navigate your system. My dogs were happy and clean when we were done. However your staff was a little underwhelming. My puppy is a barker when she's excited. Your staff continued to give us dirty smug looks. Every customer that came in contact with our dogs loved them. They petted n played with them. We spent over a hundred dollars in your store. We will probably come again, but it will be at another location.

The best place to get cat litter. They have a refill station which cuts down on all of the plastic waste and packaging and costs less than new packages! Lots of treats and wet food selection.

Friendly staff, even during the hectic holidays. I went for a dog coat and the store was out of that size. Returned a week later and was happy to find the dog coats were restocked. Fyi, there is also a vet clinic and a dog washing area.

it was good to wash the dog while standing up. Water was warm, with good pressure. We brought our own shampoo and towels which was good as the clerk never gave us any. The dryer was warm and powerful

As of today I haven’t had an unpleasant visit at this place since I’ve been coming here. Just recently (as you see in my reviews) I had to get them to fix my doggie from an embarrassing experience with PetSmart in Dundalk. I had to rush and cut him before we left for a family vacation and book an appointment with Petco to fix what PetSmart messed up. But the moment I put him on the counter they love up on him to make him feel special. PetSmart act like they didn’t want to touch him. However, he was ok after I took him to our regular spot. This is why Petco never have openings because the service is what sells the business…unlike PetSmart who has opening same day 🤦🏽‍♀️😒.

They deliver my cat food on time and I like their rewards program. Most importantly, they approved me for a Petco major credit card. Now, I can manage ALL my pet related costs from cat food to vet visits on that card. Love it!

The store is stocked well in general. The cat isles tens to be full of restock or overstock and can feel tight. And sometimes they can be short cashiers. They try to call more up if the line gets long.

We went in looking for a solution for a dog barking. We asked Olivia, one of the trainers, a question and she went beyond out of her way to help us understand the options and what her personal recommend would be. She took a lot of time out of her busy schedule to help us while she could have just pointed us to a product to answer the question and gotten rid of us. Very knowledgeable! Some of the best customer service I've seen in years, at any company. Thank you Olivia and Petco!

I most likely will NOT return to this store unless something happens to my sweet hamster I bought yesterday. I called in advance to find out if any were available & the woman on the phone said yes & that sales of live animals stop at 615pm. I got there at 605 & the woman was very rude & in a short tone told me sale of animals stop at 6 pm. I told her what I was told on the phone & rather than simply do her job & help me she decided to argue with me & ask another female staff member nearby if she told someone on the phone 615 pm. Of course the other lady was put on the spot & looked at me then at the 1 being rude with me & she said no. It was quite obvious she was lying & felt awkward. Another guy who was standing there who was part of the grooming staff stepped in & said he will help me. He was the only positive part of the experience besides taking my hammie home. The stock for hamster products was very bare & I ended up going to petsmart for everything I need for the habitat. Of course none of the staff appreciated the fact I was going to a competitor for products but as I told all of them, I'm not going to buy things I don't want. I understand they are dealing with stupid covid protocols. However, being in customer service you need to have a pleasant personality. Only 1 staff member was courteous & helpful. I gave 3 stars simply for that guy.

Petco had really stepped up their game. MUCH better, more natural, food choices for Tiger Cat and this store in particular is clean and well organized. Given the size though, they are lacking a few of my favorite brands and the cat toy section is surprisingly limited.

The employees were so friendly and helpful!! They helped me find exactly what I needed. Dalton helped me with getting my foster puppies set up for a bath. He found a shampoo to help clean them up. He's always very friendly and helpful when I visit the store.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store just recently opened so I was expecting the staff to be more disorganized but they were on top of their game. Quite a few of the tanks for what I'm assuming will be reptiles had signs saying that something was coming soon, so if you are looking for a reptile maybe wait a few more weeks.

The lady that helped us, when I was buying our leopard gecko, for my daughter, was totally awesome. We already have one at home, so everything she explained to us, we already knew, but we were grateful that she told us. The new Petco is bigger and better than the fells point and fed hill location. Super friendly staff and they have 3 wash tubs for dogs. What's super cool is that the soap and conditioner are all in a single spay system. Sort of like those coin op car washes. But unlike those it switches from rinse to soap almost instantly. They want you to sign a waiver first and pay after you finish washing your dog. I've noticed they carry a larger selection of dog toys, some brands that I haven't seen before. Which is great to have that variety.

This is probably the best petco I’ve been too. The selection in the fish department is very impressive and things look well taken care of. TJ was super helpful and helped educate me on the importance of my water quality. I was going to buy fish but he encouraged me to get my water under control first or else I could stress out and lose my fish - pro advice. He showed me the right product to help me bring down my nitrates. I’ll come back next week to buy the fish. That’s good business right there.

Yvonne is awesome! She isthe only one that can work with my Zoe! When Yvonne left the Reisterstown location, I had to follow her....regardless of the distance. When Yvonne groomed Zoe for the first time, she took a couple of minutes to get to know her. That meant alot to me. She loves her job and cares for our babies. No animal smell clear fish tanks no dead fish AND! close to home originally I had called to schedule a grooming for my Jackson I got an appointment for the 23rd at 1pm but before I hung up I asked do you guys if you get a cancelation do you offer that time to someone else the guy Dalton was like sure then wished me well and hung up then maybe 10 or 15 mins later I get a call it's Dalton with a cancelation offering me a way better date which is today at 1pm one thing alot of store employee's don't understand is that store they working at isn't the only one but my great first experience showed me Dalton gets it I use to drive all the way to golden ring while they weren't terrible I have found me a new home store oh did I mention the store was SPOTLESS! and for me that's always a plus now they were short on large crickets and I was told what they had was for their animals by another associate but I was able to load up on smalls and my frog's ate well today we'll see how well their grooming staff works. TO BE CONTINUED! ok very unhappy with grooming job dropped Jackson off at 1 was called at 4:15 get there excited cause I was thinking oh they hooked my boy up no looked like a 15 20 min rush job then I got charged for long fur which it wasn't my normal groomer be so booked up BUT! I'll wait from now on cause if he's gonna get a job I can do I'll do it I mean face around his nose terrible I don't even want my money I don't mind paying for lessons now they were still very nice but skill level was not there then getting hounded for tips I was like girl please a tip is a thank you for great service please don't get that twisted and they didn't give him his bandana I wish I had more hands so I could give that groomer 4 THUMBS DOWN

Only 4star since i seen a pretty lady who ended being my gf there. There understaffed, poor upkeep on fishes due to it. They will sell what they can to you even if it can be harmful to rodents (hampsters) health. Dont buy cadges from them, everything that u need go get it from online first.
