As with most other Ollie's locations, this place is a treasure trove of good deals and outdated brands (like Snackeez) that you won't find in places like Target. I especially like this location for its book section -- though a bit disorganized, it's chock-full of novels, activity books, and coffee table pieces. I got this huge book of animals that I use for art reference for only $13. Great service, too. Staff in my experience have been friendly and helpful.

I've been an Ollie's shopper for years. All the good things people have to say are true! But each store has it's own character and I like this location the least. It's smaller, not as well organized, and not as well maintained. In its defence, the shopping center its in needs a major face-lift. They often have only one cashier, and the check out line can get very long, and moves very slowly, regardless of how long it is. Also, the customers at this location can be rough. I've seen people almost get into fights over stuff like someone allegedly cutting the line (which isn't well marked, btw).

Stumbled upon this very strange and fascinating store while driving from Baltimore to Washington DC. It is a super discount store kind of like Big Lots or Tuesday Morning stores. As my son and I were cruising the aisles looking at the peculiar array of merchandise, another shopper advised us to make sure to check the expiration dates on food items. Good advice! We came home with some excellent values on organic pasta sauce, canned wild caught salmon, a few bags of mini Snickers in flavors that must have been a trial and error, grain free dog treats, men's Hanes 100 % cotton boxer briefs, men's no show athletic socks, Kellogg's Rainbow Unicorn and Peeps Cereal, and a $24 memory foam pillow! Not a bad haul! I highly recommend a visit!

Ollie’s has a wide, sometimes random assortment of items that you may need or may not have known that you needed! I love coming here and getting books and other supplies for my classroom or pots for my garden. This location is usually clean with a happy and helpful staff. It’s worth the drive to come here!

Treasure hunting it is, then -- whatever you think you're swinging by Ollie's to pick up, something else is waiting to go home with you and you'll love it. On my most recent trip I went in for paper towels and came away with a dozen skeins of wonderful and truly bizarre yarn, which became a wicked cool sweater. Viva Ollie's!

First time at this location. Line was at the back of the store and and with the little bit of things I found it wasn’t worth standing in that line. As we know this is a discount/bargain outlet and as weird as this may sound…. I like the Glen Burnie location better because it’s organized. Again it may sound weird but it is. And they seem to have more product in the store. I may try this location again just to see what else they get in but for the most part Glen Burnie it is.

First time ive gone into Ollie’s but have ALWAYS wanted to go in and see what is actually in there. I would describe it as a surplus store of anything you could think of-and things you don’t even think of. They had lots of books for kids and adults-ended up buying a book for my daughter. Found our detergent and dryer sheets in there for less than what we usually buy it for, and we live on base. They also had lots of shampoo and condition options that were the bigger size than the normal store size and cheaper. There are rugs, food products, gadgets, and plants/planters. Left spending about $50 and the cashier signed us up for the Ollie’s rewards card that will send us 20% off next time we go in. I’m excited to continue my relationship with Ollie’s and see what else I can find there!

Nice place. A lot of stuff kinda all over the place. From toys to kitchen stuff and food to gardening to (cheapy) tools to books to furniture and carpeting. You never know what you're going to find; it's a surprise every visit. I've been here many times and almost always find a good impulse purchase because the price is just too good to resist. The staff is quite nice and helpful. If you're in the area I definitely recommend stopping by.

I love Ollie’s but it’s not for everyone. It’s a bargain basement discounts in a large, fairly organized space. I love shopping in the book section because I never know what I’ll find. I would give them 5 stars but today the line was very long. Only 1 register was open at first. They were low on items on the shelves. The bags to hold purchases that are now $0.05 didn't last to the door before ripping apart. Almost dropped my jar of orange marmalade. The staff was friendly.

I have not visited this place in years. Generally, it is well organized, however this location (the day before Thanksgiving) was messy. Items were strolled about in certain locations within the store. It didn't make me feel compelled to shop, so I left and went next door to Dollar Tree.

I love Ollie's! I have bought food, toys, clothing, books, appliances, housewares, flooring, pet supplies, seasonal decor, and so much more. You absolutely can not beat the bargain prices. This is a bargain store with rotating stock, so if you need something specific it's going to be hit or miss. There is a large selection of seasonal items including gardening, lawn care, and pool care in the warm months and holiday decor in the cold months. If you're looking for school supplies come prepared to dig through bins. The prices are LOW so if you need a lot of book covers or other miscellaneous school gear, this is a great place to come. The staff are always friendly and ready to help. The checkout process can take a little while, but it's not too bad. And if you buy anything large there is always someone available to help load your car. Bottom line: I can't recommend this store highly enough. The prices alone make it well worth a visit.

Ollie's is like a nice, big surprise package. Whenever I go, I come home with 10-20 new items I did not expect to find for close to yard sale prices. This last trip I came out with gourmet mustard, bluetooth floatees for the pool, my favorite hair products, soap, high quality kitchen utensils, a bird feeder with feed, and much much more. They never disappoint because the trip down each aisle is like an exciting archaeology expedition.

Ollie's is my favorite salvage store where you never know what you will find, but they have a large selection of new and closeout Goods that are almost always bargains! Update: With the country moving towards recession and prices for everything from gasoline to food increasing exponentially, Ollie's bargaining outlet is no longer a fun option but a necessary shopping experience to save money in these trying times. It's important to note that Ollie's has good prices on cereals snacks nuts coffees teas and more. Many of these are also name brands.

The store has a lot of great deals and great products but the place overall looks like a run down warehouse with stuff randomly placed. In addition, the staff here are just okay; they do not really go above and beyond but they are nice enough to get the lines moving. For a discount store Ollie's is really good. You can go in and find great deals at pretty much anytime of the year. You get what you pay for. I have never been to a place where you can stock up on seasoning snacks/groceries, books, carpeting/rugs, shampoo, dish detergent, and WEDDING DRESSES! This store blew my mind. I don't think it'd but anything major from here (like a wedding dress) but for the small stuff I guess it's ok. Again you get what you pay for. I haven't bought anything from them yet, but it sure is interesting going through the store.

Fun in a never-know-what--you'll-find kinda way. Be cautious of expiration dates on food and health care, it's usually close to its buy by date and while I've not seen anything expired it's been close! Small appliances are a good deal though some are refurbished so if a warranty is important to you best check that out! Otherwise it's kinda of a bargain hunters fun fest, Go there first, see if there is a deal on what you want, and if not no harm no foul!

The store is a giant maze of "I didn't know I needed that" items. Tons of rugs that my wife liked. Large book section. It's like Home Goods but with better prices and everything isn't broken or janky. Well worth the trip. Warning, the other drivers in the parking lot are ruthless over parking spaces and don't know how stop signs work.

I love this store! The excitement of finding bargains at great prices. I went to the one in Columbia, MD and it was pretty large. What was soo amazing about this trip to Ollie's was I found 5 things on my list that I wanted and found them here. And at great prices too. The store was a little crowded with people and merchandise, to the point there was nowhere for me to put my shopping cart. Seems like I was always in someone's way. They don't have really long isles in this store, so that's good for me. When it came time for me to check out, the cashier asked me for my Ollie's card, which I had forgotten about. If you have never been to a Ollie's store, make it your business to check them out. Each location is different and carry different merchandise. So, if you see something that day, you better buy it that day, because it might not be there tomorrow!

They're currently remodeling the front of the store. While driving by i saw the sign was missing and like a concerned friend I called to ask if they were still open. I still laugh about now because I was genuinely worried one of my favorite stores was closing. But they weren't and my husband and I went for a visit and picked up some items as well. For what it's worth you can find what you might be looking for. I love coming to store to see what they have. Truth be told I'm waiting to see if they acquire some items from Payless going out of business.

I really love this place. I wish they had these where I live at. They have so much stuff h.e and it's discounted at very reasonable prices. And they have so many books as well yhat are also discounted to AWESOME prices. This place has price that easily makes you fall in love with it. Ollie's is the best place to go for stocking up on cleaning supplies, shampoos and soaps for the guest bathrooms, sheets, towels, etc. You want it, they have it for (often times) half the price of grocery stores and Target/Walmart. The building is not the prettiest, but it is clean and there are always plenty of carts available! Ollie's stocks name-brands and consistently meets my expectations for quality products, friendly service and unbeatable prices.

Ollies has good variety of DISCOUNTED products. It is possible because they buy the unwanted goods from other retailers like a wholesaler. CONS: So it is not guaranteed that you can find the same product at the next visit. It is a bit challenging on locating the items though, as they do not have the over-the-head category signs. I went to Ollies the other day to look for a sewing kit for at least over 15 mins and figured out they didn’t carry it after I asked a cashier a location of it. PROS: They sometimes send out the 15% off discount coupon. They have nice selection of the children’s book and the Bible. They give you points as you purchase, which I have not had the experience of using it yet. Good location where Route 1 and 175 meet. There is MOM’s organic market right next to it, where they have plastic/battery etc. recycling receptacles, along with the pricy but good organic selection of food. The dollar tree, Starbucks, Panda Express, IHOP are closely located, too. ps) It seems though their discounted price still can not beat Costco’s. (Of course they are not the same type of a retailer.)
