Great staff! It felt a little lurky at first, but honestly it's Baltimore, so go ahead and figure out my intentions as a first time visitor. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and I really appreciated the extra step of helping me carry my purchase to my car. I found most everything I was looking for and any substitutions I made were understandable. I love that I found a few things I didn't know could be options for me. In the absence of a real art store in York, PA, I would make the trip again.

Super friendly staff that were quick to help me when I walked in. I'm on a tight budget, and asked to be shown the most affordable paints. I didn't even know there was a sale going on until I came in, which was awesome. I highly reccomend coming in right now (Aug. 2022 - Sep. 2022) because I was able to afford stuff that otherwise would have been out of my budget. They've got a wide variety of quality levels of every medium, which is great. I was a bit sad to see no individual prismacolor markers available, but there are still several other brands to choose from.

Blitz usually has a great selection of art supplies but every time I've gone there the staff that works is amazing. Always friendly and very knowledgeable.

Absolutely enjoyed my entire shopping experience at Blick Art today. The cashier greeted my family right away and directed us to the hand sanitizer at the front of the store. I was looking for a airbrush kit for my son's birthday and they had everything we needed plus a large variety of other art supplies. The customer service was wonderful, thank you ladies for all of your help! Everything is labeled and sorted in a way that helps you grab all the supplies needed for your project. I love saving money so I was excited when I saw the clearance rack. At checkout I was offered a preferred member card that I could use right away. Looking forward to my next visit 😊

Blick has a great selection of art supplies. They carry both student and professional quality products. Their prices are competitive with other national chains. The only drawback is parking in Baltimore. That said, I would still give Blick five stars.

I love shopping at Blick their prices are really reasonable plus they offer a great membership I found a really nice pair finishing scissors and fashion embroidery pattern templates in the clearance aisle they were marked down really really dirt cheap.

I love this place! They have every thing you would need for art including ceramic supplies (limited but still there!) Which surprised me! They also have screen printing, block printing, spray paint, canvas material to make canvases, frames for canvases, spray paint, water color and acrylic paint. Everything you could imagine!!

Came in store zoned out and in a mood. ( Headphones in ) Staff still found a way to be engaging, helpful, and friendly. I was approached at a respectable distance and eye contact was made. I truly appreciate the customer service given.

Though this is perhaps the smallest art supply store I've been to, it is also the nicest. That may be because it is an art supply store, rather than a craft store, but if you are a visual artist, this place is absolutely for you. I did not have much money when I visited this time, though the selection is incredible. Will come back for sure when I have more to spend. The staff was also friendly, the store was clean and organized, and service at the registers was fast.

Staff was extremely helpful. The place was well organized and they helped me find a bunch of new art supplies. Would highly recommend signing up for their free membership card especially if you're a student. Its going to get you an additional 10 percent off!! Will definitely be going back.

No issues other than they didnt have the items (Rit Fabric Dye) i wanted in stock except the black one. They have a lot of stuff. The rewards card is very helpful. The place feels a bit odd.. but all the employees were nice and helpful. Its also an accessible store for those with wheelchairs as the first way to get in is a ramp. The only issue would be the door and some of the weird angles to get things. I would come back in here for art supplies even if things are a bit pricey!

My friend who is an amazing artist that also does tattoos needed to stop by. Great that it's near MICA for the art students. Friendly staff and the store had great COVID protocols in place which makes you feel safe.

This store was great and seems to be way more affordable than artist & craftsman supply Baltimore. Maybe it doesn't have as much hype as artist & craftsman but deserves more. If you're a starving artist (which are the only true artist) Blick is best. They will check their online store before checkout to make sure you get the lowest price. Thumbs up!

I love this place, especially on Sundays. There is always some kind of deals going on in store. And than their price matching system is amazing. The customer service is awesome too, they are always so friendly and nice and willing to go that extra mile. Oh yeah best thing is parking is free on Sundays, probably the best thing ever.

This place had all of the art supplies I was looking for plus more and if they didn't have it in the store you can get it through there online store and some items was discounted if you ordered online. Very friendly and knowledgeable employees. Nice place to go if you are an artist of any kind.

I love BlickArt. They always have the best prices, and they price match their in store items with their online prices. This is my go to store for all of my watercolor supplies. I only wish I could check online to see what they have in stock at my nearest store.

Clean and professional looking with nice staff that answered all my questions. If you sign up for the loyalty/members card you get a discount when compared to the online prices and I also got a student discount which was nice. If I lived closer I would come back more often.

Just ask someone who works there, they will be glad to help you find what you are looking for. Plus, they have sales on art supplies and the stuff is discounted so i day get your moneys worth.

Hard to decide between Blick and Plaza, given they're pretty close in the immediate. However, the location of this one near Read St does offer a few more parking options than Plaza does over near Cathedral. Just be careful if you park in Rite Aid's parking lot, as they apparently do tow people. They're both decent supply shops, but check the sales before deciding. Also not sure if Blick offers the student discounts like Plaza. Also, has 2 or 3 bars, and a liquor store, on the same block, in case all your creativity has worked up a need a beverage.

fabulous art store I remember when they used to be called urtech? something like that and it's very affordable got everything you need the staff was great I'm glad to see it still there getting ready to go visit it soon and buy some charcoal pencils and faber-castell pencils

This place is fantastic!!!! I am a severe amateur dabbler in art but I want to buy so much stuff because it's all SO cool!!! The staff is magnificent, going to great lengths to answer questions, even if they're off the wall (the questions, that is)! Parking works well. Go; pack a lunch & make a day of it! :-)
