This is our second purchase from Rug and Home in Gaffney, SC and we couldn’t be more impressed with the staff and the product. We had the pleasure of working with Michael, the manager of rug sales. He was beyond helpful, knowledgeable, humorous and caring. When we struggled with our decision, Patty, another salesman named Michael and two other lovely women began helping us achieve satisfaction. Patty actually took our chair cushion and went searching for the right rug! Between Michael and Patty, they knew exactly what our furniture needed, and thanks to them, our living room has come alive! Eternally grateful to this wonderful staff! Do yourself a favor and make this your shopping destination!

I had a perfect shopping experience here! I have been searching for a large area rug for our new for home for six months with no success. The staff here was exceptional and even though the explained they were short staffed, (who isn’t!) they were extremely helpful and took the time I needed to help me. Emily the general manager is super talented in coordinating colors and styles and is very knowledgeable about their product! Also she is a delight to work with. I left with 4 rugs for various areas of my home. Their policy is you have 7 days to try it out and bring it back if it doesn’t work. Not to mention their prices are extremely reasonable. Will definitely be recommending this store to my friends!

They have beautiful rugs at a variety of prices. Seriously, I think we bought one rug for $3,000 and another one for $200. They don’t pressure you to buy anything. The one but… is that checkout is soooo painful and laborious. It can easily take 30-45 mins to check out. Their computer system seems to frustrate them. Whatever it is, it’s not user-friendly or easy. I have been the only one checking out and it took about 15 minutes to simply accept payment. Again, everyone is so nice. Great rugs. But at the end of the day, money is exchanging hands for a product… and that aspect is terrible.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience at Rug and Home in Asheville, NC yesterday. Michael greeted us and showed us a large selection of rugs. He was patient, personable, knowledgable and very helpful. Not at all pushy! He pulled two rugs for us to see on the floor and let us know we had 7 days to return a rug if it didn't work in our room. The entire staff was delightful! We kept the rug and I bought another one for my own house. Highly recommend! Many thanks, Michael!

Make sure you know the size of rug that you need. We may not have the exact size you may have to do a foot longer or shorter. The best thing for you to do some measure the minimum size rug you need and then go from there. The loss of rugs lots of different qualities loss of wool rug which is supposedly based the best there are some polyesters. The staff was fantastic they gave a little clothespins to put on the rugs that caught your eyes you go through so you can find the next time the roads are hanging from rack on the wall. You need to make sure you lay the rug on the floor before you make your decision because the colors looks different. Also want to ride gets on the floor it will look smaller that does hanging up. The roads are sorted by size by the most part they are some of the slipped in with others. We made a decision within 20 minutes it was gone within 30 one of the easiest buying experiences we've ever had.

I would like to say how happy I was choosing Rug and Home to purchase my rugs.The sales associate who worked with me first by email sending me pictures and knowing exactly what I wanted was wonderful. She worked above and beyond getting me in the store. When I arrived everyone was so friendly and attentive taking down the rugs I asked them to hold till I arrived and showed me even more. I must say what a wonderful selection. I made my purchases and left. My home looks beautiful with my new area rugs. Thank you Rug and Home I will be back to buy more.

I went in looking for a rug for my bedroom. I’m no interior designer, but I like for things to have a cohesive look. I showed a picture of my bedroom to the woman working there. She was so helpful in the search for this rug. I think I had a budget of $500 or less. This rug was $350. The pad may have been an additional $150, I’m sorry it’s been a minute since I bought it. I think it looks fantastic! There is no pressure to spend any more money. They have a wide selection of rugs in various prices. The staff stayed out of my way until I needed help and asked for it. That’s my kind of place! I’ve also bought a beautiful desk and couch at this store. I was pleased with all of my purchases.

I've been going (when I'm in need of an interesting rug) to R&H for many years. One would have a hard time beating the sheer multitude of rugs to ponder. Seriously, plan on spending some time to discover the right one, at the right price for any budget. The staff are friendly, know their stuff, yet are never pushy. Presumably, they know just how lost people get looking through the endless selection of carpets. Additionally, they have a very nice selection of cool and unusual furnishings..never a dull experience, for myself at least. Worth the trip, even with the nutty rerouting of the roads in that area.

We have now purchased several rugs during two different visits from the Asheville store. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and they were happy to take rugs down and move to the front of the store for a better view. Also, most importantly the employees all wore masks. As a shopper, this made me feel both safe and appreciative that the store employees look out for the safety of their customers.

This store is amazing. I absolutely love all of the design selections they had for rugs. The couches are unique and beautiful. They seriously have the best inventory I have ever seen. The store is filled with gorgeous furniture to make any house a home fit for anyone. They had every style to for every individual style. The rugs and couches are high quality and the customer service was on their top game. The ladies were sweet, helpful, and friendly. My favorite part is their magnolia section. I was so thrilled to get to buy some of the stuff they had. I honestly was on cloud nine the entire time and was just in heaven. Love love love this store

Mark and Kasie helped us decided on what rugs would work best in my home. They were very patient and attentive and had the knowledge to help me make my decision. The one rug was very large and I was not able to manage it, but the delivery charge was very reasonable. I met Wesley and Kawaun when they delivered my rug. I can not emphasize enough how willing and helpful they were to make sure my rug pattern was in the direction I wanted it, and they painstakingly placed it in the center of the room. They lifted and tugged and got my rug exactly where I wanted it, all with smiles on their faces. They were the best, and an asset to your company. Keep them happy, they are great PR for you.

Really a rug place. Every size and a great selection of colours and styles. My wife walked around for an hour trying to pick one. They have pre-cut padding as well. They have space to lay out your choices so you can see them on the floor and see how they feel. Definitely will go again if we need rugs.

We purchased a beautiful Magnolia Homes rug from Asheville’s Rug & Homes. I’ve looking for a long time for a navy blue reasonably priced rug. Rugs & Homes not only had the perfect rug but added to it, great customer service by Jeremy and Allison. If I win the $500, I may very well go back and buy furniture from this very store. The rugs are well displayed and Jeremy was eager to order a different size if needed but that was not necessary. We love this rug! As many others, I’ve seen their commercials on local TV and when it came time to replace an area rug in my home, Rug & Home came to mind since it appeared as though they had a great selection. I was really pleased when I entered the store. I was greeted upon arrival and introduced to Casey, who would assist me in my selection. After a brief conversation, she steered me toward the size and color scheme I was looking for and immediately starting showing me options, clipping the ones I liked for later. With her assistance, I was able to narrow down my options to 3, which she offered to place on the floor for final selection. The overall experience was relaxing and easy. Their customer service is exceptional, their return policy easy and their prices great for the exceptional quality of the products they offer. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a high service, educational and low pressure shopping experience.

I purchased a rug and chair in March and was not able to pick it up right away then the Covid 19 hit. They were able to keep my items. safely for me until they were open. As my wonderful chair would not fit in my car, we made arrangements for delivery. The gentleman who delivered were excellent and were able to move another chair ro my storage area. Yesterday we walked into Rug & Home in Asheville and were greeted by Emily Perone. We explained what we were looking for and showed Emily swatches of our furniture fabrics. She immediately took over and promised to find us a rug to go with our furniture. She skillfully guided us through the store’s inventory and, as promised, found us a beautiful rug to accent our furniture. Additionally, she took the time to find coordinating pillows to coordinate with the furniture. Emily was knowledgeable, personable and professional. I was looking for a large living room rug. Rug and Home had one of the largest selections that I saw. My sales person showed me multiple rugs that met my criteria. The rugs were taken down from the display racks and placed on the floor side by side so I could make my final choice. The only negative experience was that near the end of my visit, the salesperson started talking to a previous customer letting me waiting before my rug was prepared for transport to my car.

Great experience! We were looking for an area rug for purchase and to see the inventory to get ideas for an upcoming home renovation. We found an extensive inventory and helpful staff, and left with a beautiful area rug for our family room and plenty of ideas for the renovation. No pressure from the sales staff, just a ready willingness to let us look, answer questions and provide ideas for us to consider. Looks like we found the place to purchase new floor coverings when the renovation is completed, and at prices that are within our budget.

My wife and I stopped in on a whim, not planning to purchase a rug but the service there was so incredibly amazing we couldn't resist. Unfortunately it's rare to experience above-and-beyond service, but these guys have it down. It seems to stem from the manager (Michael I believe was his name) and his dedication to customers. Excellent. Over the last 20 years we have purchased many oriental rugs and still have every one. Excellent quality,service,and selection. Both Asheville and Gaffney stores are well stocked. I would highly recommend.

We visited the Asheville Rug and Home for the first time because we had seen advertisements on TV. We recently had hard wood floors put in our home and wanted a rug for accent and comfort. We walked in the store and were greeted immediately and told John would be right with us. In less then a minute John introduced himself. We explained what we were looking for and he showed us what they had. We found one we liked and he put it on the floor for us. He explained care of the rug, policies of the store and payment plans. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We will definately go back for our next rug purchase.

I visited Rug & Home in Asheville earlier this week and found the perfect rug! Ron Mezik helped me find a unique size that works perfectly with my home. I needed a rug that was slightly smaller than 7x10 ft and he showed me a collection that were sized 6 ft 7 in by 9 ft 6 in - who knew rugs came in those dimensions??? It was a perfect fit for my bedroom and I intend to go back again to fit out my other rooms. A nice woman greeted me at the door. Passed me twice never talked to me again I figure because I looked unkept that day (jeans Tshirt frizzy hair). If you are going to charge 4000 for a leather couch shouldn't you be able to turn over the cushion. 700 for a cheap chair that you can get at Marshall or Home Goods for 150. Shop around!

Bamboo silk? Call it what it is, rayon. Reduced carbon footprint and sustainable? Come on. Of you like it, buy it, but shipping it from India to NC is not earth friendly. NC has great timber practices and btw, rayon is often made from pine cellulose..
