I recently adopted Struedel while visiting PetSmart. My 1 year old Tabby was having difficulties adjusting to being alone after my daughter moved & took her pets. Candy from AK Krazy Kats Cat Rescue was amazing and it turns out she fostered my rescue. I only shop at PetSmart because they are friendly, usually have what I’m looking for and great prices. If Nathan is around ask for his help!! He the best.

I buy my dogs their food here along with their treats & toys! Be sure to watch out for their in store deals on treats & toys, sometimes they have buy 1 get 1 50% and it’s definitely worth it treat wise if you have 2 or more dogs. I think their prices are fair & also don’t forget to download their app so you can keep track of your points & appointments! I plan on using pet smart for my dog training & maybe even grooming! I’ll update once I’ve done those. But overall I have no complaints, it’s clean & the workers are helpful :)

The grooming salon always does a great job of asking details about how I want my dog groomed so her haircut and nail trim turn out just the way I want them. Prices are reasonable and they book appointments ahead of time with reminders.

We just got a 2 month old cutiest Yorkie Terrier pup and named her Abby after my 5 year old middle name Abigail. This pet store is fun and has lots of stuff for all domestic animals. The workers are very friendly and very very helpful. Sorry I forgot their names. The rewards are very rewarding the app is very helpful! Thanks PetSmart

Today I used the grooming salon. Pets looked wonderful and the groomer that handled my dogs were great. The salon apprentice was rude and acted unprofessional in assessing me a late fee for being 5-10 minutes over the 15 minutes - even though I had explained that we had to run to east side Costco and pick up 1 item. She called me at 10:09 am and I was in the PetSmart grooming office by 10:32 am. This young lady needs to learn about Grace and not be hostile and rude to the clients that create a job for her.

I don't have any complaints it's just a standard PetSmart nothing that differentiates it from any other pet smart. I will say that they do have a good selection of kitten food.

Sunday afternoon turned out to be a good time to go. I got a parking spot right up front and only waited in line at checkout less than two minutes. I even snagged a guy in the parking lot to help me load my groceries so overall was a great trip to Costcos!

I absolutely love that they send pet specific coupons or special offers via email. Other pet stores just send dog and cat stuff to your email. I have two snakes and it’s nice hearing about offers for reptiles.

Cookies seems nervous when she get there, they took 2-3 hours to get done on grooming and wash, I spent 110$ from all that plus the hemp package which include a special conditional and nail grinding. Much cheaper Great customer service !

I’m the midst of a stressful move we realized that our dogs crate needed to fly out of state was too small. My husband went to the muldoon location and they were sold out. I called the diamond location and spoke to a manager named Tanner. He was beyond helpful in checking if they had one in stock and even held it up front ready for husband to pick up. After the most stressful moving week in history this small act of kindness changed my whole day and brought so much relief to us. Thank you Tanner!!

I was so surprised by the difference between the Petsmart here and the Petsmart on Muldoon at Tikatnu. The staff and manager were so friendly and helpful. A very different experience from that at Muldoon location. I plan to make the longer drive into south Anchorage whenever I can.

I was having a worm issue in my fish tank and I was super lucky to get there in time before the store closed. The lady I talked to had experience with this problem before and gave me so much useful information about it. She told me exactly what I needed and how and when to use each product. my fish tank is now worm free because of her advise! I am grately appreciative of her!

At one time we thought we would never return to PetSmart because there were many times they weren’t able to groom my puppy. They took the time to hear my concerns and they worked with me and my puppy to help him learn to enjoy his grooming! He gets it all done every 4 weeks now and even the nail grinding! He’s one happy puppy and I’m one happy Mommy!

I would be rating the store and staff with this review, as I haven't used any of their services. However, every visit there has been a great experience. The floor people are incredibly helpful and the cashiers helped find better deals, price matched without asking and offered money saving recommendations that didn't require signing up for anything.

The manager is incredibly helpful, kind, quick to respond and problem solve, knows product lines and I watched her multi task with utmost care. This was my first time in the store because we are getting a brand new puppy and we needed to start from scratch. She was willing to help me find everything I needed and things I didn’t even think about! I wish there was a more choice of reflective collars/ leashes because they were out of small dog collars. I was also looking for synthetic grass for an emergency backup but could not find it. I loved the choice of toys and crates. It was a great experience and I’m impressed with additional options like the grooming, doggy daycare, puppy dates for socializing, natural food options, training classes and the support for adoption efforts. A customer for life now!

I loved the experience my dog and I had at the groomers. They were very pleasant to work with and too great care of my dog. The store itself was clean and had a lot to offer; however, in the 4 or 5 rows of dog food- they did not have our brand that we use. There was not many people on the sales floor to assist either at the time. I did get my dog a toy and checkout was fast and friendly.

Usually Tori is the only person I will let groom my dog. She had the nerve to go on vacation. So I took a chance with someone else. Lexxi. Lexxi did a wonderful job and I could tell my dog felt comfortable with her. She was very gentle and sweet with my 10 year old girl. My dog's groom was exactly what I asked for. I am very selective on who I will let touch my dog at this place because of a groomer I will not blast here and let's face it, you don't always know what you're going to get. Just wanted to give a 5 star shout out to Tori and Lexxi at Southside ANC Petsmart Grooming Salon.

Petsmart has a great selection, lots of variety for lots of pets, friendly staff. However the prices for food are much better at Alaska Mill and Feed for the same food. I get what I can't find or because it is more convenient than going to the Mill.

Pretty much like the other 3 houses here in Anchorage. There are no reward discount for being a frequent customer but the customer service is super friendly and helpful. Prices are average and parking is no problem. Easily spotted from the road.

See my pictures of the PetHotel too, I love this location. The staff are exceptionally friendly and clearly have my dogs best interest in mind. The store is pet friendly while shopping, and priced well for the area by comparison. I used to do a lot of my fish shopping here too before I dropped the hobby, the stuff almost never broke (great for a chain store!)

The people who work at the Pet Hotel really deeply and truly care for your pet while they are staying there. It is obvious that they love animals and that they take time to learn your pet’s personality and needs. Super professional and caring. I’ve been incredibly impressed by the team at the Pet Hotel. I took my puppy in for his first doggie day camp the whole experience was very very good efficient great staff they booked my grooming appointment for my puppy immediately after day camp picked him up from the groomers he was so tired he slept so good that night will definitely be taking them back all the staff there is very knowledgeable very friendly. I shop from Petsmart all the time. I order online and pick up in the store, unless I want to browse for extra things. My store has a huge variety of dog food, and a good supply of pet bird supplies, which meets most of my needs. The staff is friendly and helpful, always. I take my dogs there for grooming.

I like this location of PetSmart. First of all, it's always clean, which is a nice quality in a store that allows you to bring your pet into the place! Second of all, the shelves are always neatly and fully stocked. I own 3 Yorkshire Terriers and it's really nice to be able to find Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier food in a state like Alaska, where most people favor big dogs. My only suggestion is that they stock more dog harnesses in the Extra Small size that are not just the thin little strap kind. The ones that have a fabric 'chest plate' are much safer for small dogs and they rarely have much of a selection of those!

Staff always seems a little irritated when I call with questions, we used their curbside pick-up once and the lady complained on where we parked and that it was against company policy to have their employees walk across the parking lot to deliver customer product. She instructed us to park in the very front where it says no parking. Won’t use them anymore.

Petsmart is better priced than petco or pet zoo and they have a brand called Simply Nourish... Best dog food I've ever bought. It's real meat and veggies with no fillers... My dogs not only love it, they thrive on it! I've tried all the best brands over the years with all my furbabies and all of my foster furbabies... They ALL love it and thrive on it! Employees are friendly and helpful... Best pet supplies store there is! I highly recommend it.... 😇
