Came here for a new key fob for my car. Pricing was fair and staff was friendly. However, the install took a very long time, over 40 minutes. Eventually a manager had to step in. He discovered that my car had a dead battery, and that's why the key wouldn't work. He hooked me up with a new battery and did a very good job installing it. I've installed a few car batteries myself, but I could not have done a better job. I'd come here again for a new car battery. They gave me some discounts/coupons for the trouble. In short, the store manager was great, but the staff could use more training.

Had the battery I needed for my Dyson V6 floor vacuum. But - a screw was stripped and I could not remove. I didn't get the guy's name but he was patient and helpful. Removed the stripped screw and provided instructions on installing battery. Very helpful. No reason now for not vacuuming.

This store is wonderful! They have everything you could possibly need; the weird, two-pronged light bulb we needed for our new houses porch light? They had it! The weird battery for my Pulse Ox monitor? They had it! And their staff is marvelous! Their online ordering system is excellent and so easy to use; I'm actually going to order all the stuff I need from them from now on. I'm looking at their security system packages as well. Save this place to your phone!

P.S. All of the work performed on your car here, is done in the parking lot, just like at Battery Specialists. Kind of cheesy, but that's the way it goes with the two major battery places in town that I checked out. Regarding automotive batteries, after checking online with these folks, I decided to drive across town in a snowstorm and pay them a visit. Upon entering, I was greeted by two employees, and spoke with one of them whose name is Geryon. (Yes, I asked him to spell it for me!) The selection here is better than that of Battery Specialists, and includes batteries with warranties up to 4 and 5 years (which Battery Specialists do not). Prices are reasonable. and installation is free, on most vehicles. Yes. I say, most. If a battery is not available and can be ordered, it takes only about 2 days, same as the wait time for a preset appointment. Alas, my Impala LTZ's specs did not include a spacious easy in and out arrangement regarding the place where the battery sits. Geryon told me that it couldn't be done at Batteries Plus (true bummer!) and suggested I take my car to nearby F.A.T.S. Automotive. The good news is, Geryon, having tested my battery told me that it is just fine. It may be 5 years old, but still has at least another year or so to go, as long as I drive my car down the highway more often. Since I am a past (and happy) customer of CPR Automotive, I will most likely pay them a visit this Spring, and see if perhaps they may be able to install a new battery. And so, the adventure continues.

I have been to this store a couple of times. The first time was to purchase a new battery for my car. The second time was to replace my cellular phone’s battery. Prices were fair. Service and the work were exceptional. The only con was there were a lot of people waiting in line both times I visited. However, the wait time wasn’t too long since there were a few staffs working as fast as they could behind the counter. I had great customer service experience both times. Staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and know exactly what needs to be done to get me taken care of. My car battery purchase was smooth. We got the right battery and it works fine. I was able to bring back my old battery and got my core deposit refunded without any problem. I came in the second time to replace my phone’s battery. I scheduled my repair online a day in advance and got $10 off. I came in the next day and a very knowledgeable staff checked me in, went through all the checks on my phone within minutes, and told me they would give us a call in about an hour when it’s done. Twenty minutes later, I received a call that my phone was ready to be picked up. They also offer so many products in the store. They have every type of batteries under the Sun. My favorite are Werker Industrial batteries. They last as long as other brands but are a lot cheaper.

I was having issues with my phone and called to see if they would recommend bringing it in. I talked with an incredibly nice man (I believe his name was Corey) who patiently worked with me over the phone to describe the issues I was having. I was partially expecting him to tell me to bring it in regardless (more money for the company, business, etc.), instead, he gave some recommendations on how I can try and fix the phone myself. They worked! My phone is working really well now and I am very pleased with his integrity. When I do need a more in-depth professional phone repair, this is definitely the place I am going to go.

When I came into the store, it was extremely busy but the man behind the desk said someone would be with me shortly. It took a while but I was helped by a guy that knew exactly what he needed to do to check the battery on my old computer. He was quick and thorough. He looked at a calendar on the wall and told me it would be about 2 to 3 hours before it would be ready. I told him I live in Girdwood so I'd pick it up the next day. A bit later, he called me and it was done in just a half hour. It was so nice of him to call me with the information so quickly. I appreciated everything he did. And I noticed how polite and kind the other men in the shop were to the customers also. It's a nice place to get help as I felt everyone seemed knowledgeable.

I was able to pick up an battery I'd ordered online the night before. It was ready for pick-up less than two hours after the store opened - which was before I was even ready to go get it! Went to Batteries Plus and Preston M. assisted me on my battery his customer service was great! He gave me a loaner car battery while they charged my car battery and he also did a couple tests. Next day they called and my battery was not good and Preston replaced mine under warranty and installed it! Good man he is!

DELIVERY DRIVERS MUST READ I love this store. I always get good service and I don't have to wait to long. I usually head here between 6 and 8 PM when I need replacement batteries for my car key fobs. If ya lock your doors all day long. If ya deliver food or run a lot of errands you are going to like this.They have a replacement battery program where ya just pay $20 bucks for replacement batteries. It's a one time fee I think. Even if it's for a year it's good for me. I need em replaced every 4 to 7 weeks.

The day after the order was placed the pickup went flawlessly - the battery was in a holding area waiting for me (I assume they have the holding area so that they know the battery won't become out of stock). The sales people are knowledgeable and have a huge inventory of stuff that's hard to find. I went in to get an extra Key Fob for a VW Beetle. Unfortunately that's not a typical key fob and the vehicle had to go to the dealer to be completely reprogrammed. Batteries Plus took care of everything. Great Customer Service even in an unusually difficult situation.

The staff I spoke with on the phone were cordial and respectful. I ordered online to pick up from this store and they called to let me know that the cell phone battery was not in-stock and because of the type of battery it would have to be shipped to them by barge. The drawback is that the online ordering doesn't let you know if something is not in-stock at the time of ordering.

I don't know much about car batteries, so 2 weeks ago when I had to replace my dead battery, I had lots of questions. Brandon, from the warehouse was so patient in answering all my questions so I understood everything. He was very courteous and promptly returned my phone calls. Becasue my battery had to be shipped to me, Brandon made all the shipping arrangements and then kept me informed of the status. Can't comment on battery since I have not used it yet, but outstanding service by Brandon.

Because they are implementing COVID-19 precautions, I feel safer shopping with them, as I have family members who would be susceptible to major complications if infected. There were several things that impressed me regarding my experience with Batteries Plus on International Airport Rd, Anchorage. I needed a new car battery. I checked 2 web sites and my my local car dealership. I ordered via a web site. 1)The Batteries Plus website was EASY to navigate; the other auto parts website was not. . 2) Received a nice discount. 3) The store almost immediately replied with the info that my Car Battery was ready to pick up. 4) The store was busy, and they had MANY STAFF available to help. 5) The person that helped me was efficient with the paperwork and promptly install the battery in the bitter cold wind. 6) And the fun perk, was that this employee was a woman and this was being done on INTERNATIONAL DAY of WOMEN.. It brought to mind how far we have gone since the early 70's.

I ordered a battery online for pickup at local store. I have had problems with this method before but decided to try again. There has been no improvement. I did receive a phone call that the battery would require about 3 weeks to ship to store. That was okay with me; however, the next day I received an email saying the battery was ready for pickup. It was not ready and the battery arrived 3 weeks later. it seems there is a disconnect between the main company and the local franchises when it comes to online ordering. it would be nice if this is straightened out so there is not so much confusion.

Josh spent a significant amount of time resolving the cable problem and installing the battery. Great Service, always have products in stock, makes more sense (economically and environmentally) to replace the battery than replace the device. If you have a "broken" UPS, come here and replace the battery. It'll be good as new.

The staff are helpful and I will say they have most of the batteries that one will need, every time I have gone there with different needs they have always had what I needed, but, their prices are very high, if you can wait it pays to order your stuff from stateside through the vendor, etc etc the bad is you have to wait for it to get here. I was an out of towner needing my phone fixed. So went in on a Sunday to see bout getting my phone fixed. Well Jake the guy who took my phone said ok let me see if we got the part and he checks comes back and says ok it will be done in a while. So I leave and come back at time I was told. To be told I'm sorry I didnt realize ur phone was purple cause all they had was black I was like that's fine. Then after trying to put it all together Neil comes out n says theres a blemish on the screen n doesn't feel comfortable letting it go. So he took another hour to repot it back together very frustrating. Then he said I'll have to order one. Said it would be in Tuesday n it wasnt. Was told that must of been a miscommunication n I said no I was told Tuesday. Then was told by Brandon that it would be in by end of business on Wednesday. Finally it came in n took it back but chris said they wouldn't honor there warranty cause it was worse well that wasnt my fault. So begrudgingly cause I waited so long to get it fixed I finally did. Was told by Brandon would get a discount to try n keep my business which never happened. Not sure that I will ever go back to them every again. Specially when they really dont care bout there customers.

Geryon is awesome, I walked in looking for some batteries for a flashlight with some hard to find batteries. He found my batteries within a minute and helped me find a lightbulb. The best part as I was walking out I saw that they sold replacement key fobs so I asked about it because I thought my key fob was broken.. I tried replacing the battery before and it just was not working with the new battery then some of the buttons stopped working. Geryon took my key fob and pulled out a tool kit & put a new battery and fixed whatever thing was messing with the battery and buttons. I only paid $11.99 for a new battery and saved a few hundred to replace the whole key fob at Toyota.
