It doesn't matter whether it's winter or summer, it is always hot in the store especially upstairs. I love shopping at JC Penney however I want to get in and out because it's incredibly uncomfortable to try on clothes when it's 80° in the store

We had poor service in the women’s department today used a JCPenney‘s card and the girl was very rude. Not even acknowledging us as customers. Your sales are not the greatest and you try to offer a coupon but you can use it on the sale item too bad you guys used to be great with the best sales . Will not go to JC pennies anymore, also will tell my family not to purchase carts from you anymore for the holidays☹️👎 poor service

It's one of my favorite stores, for favorite jeans, tops and household items, such as towels and sheets, etc. And they have sales, give discounts and you can get points on your JC Penny credit card.

There's a good sale that was ending so there were more people than the last time. The stock was every because of the sale. The staff try to stay friendly. Got a great deal on 3 pairs of shoes and a pair of pants. I plan on going back during the black friday sale until black friday.

JC Pennys is always a great store to go into. This one is large and has alot of product. The cashiers are friendly and seem to enjoy thier jobs. The only complaint I had is they need to carry more of the popular sizes.

Went there with my son to get new gym shoes and was very impressive by the generous discount on all the name brand shoes for kids. Fila's I bought my son for $30.00 were half off ! How can you pass that up??

Disappointed. Used to be my favorite store. The suits are non existent and scattered. The calling klein suits are randomly hung. Nothing was ironed. It came from a pile. This shocked me. Dressing room was filthy and not managed.

JCPenney has gone down over the years. It was very frustrating in the long lines waiting to check out. Not to mention they have very limited selection of merchandise to choose from.

Last time I came here was on a day where the foothills were getting snow and the test of Abq was just cold. It was the slowest I've ever seen it. It was great. I was greeted by an employee as I walked it, and that was it. I was looking for shoes and not a single person came by or was around the area. For 30+ minutes I just went around, trying on shoes without a single person around. It was great. Ever wonder what a zombie apocalypse would be like and you go into an empty mall? This was the closest I've come to experience that ever. When I finally finished they were incredibly nice at checkout. Best experience at JCP ever. Other than that, there are hundreds of pairs of jeans that are not your size here, and if there are some of your size, it'll be incredibly hard for you to find. As most people just leave the clothes they've browsed through a mess.

I have my hair done in the Salon with the most competent professional staff in the business. I always feel like a queen and get the utmost concern and attention paid to me with every detail of my hair in mind. The mirror doesn't lie - I always look fantastic when I leave! And I always grab a shampoo or style product for myself or as a gift, when I visit. The products are topnotch and they always have two-for sales. If I didn't have to get back the office I could spend even more time shopping in the JCP store!!

The isles are easy to walk through within the clothing areas. Season clothing is out. The lines for checking out are long. There never seems to be enough store assistants.

Sad. I can never find anything that I would actually wear these days from JC Penneys. Their clothes are solid bright colors only like white pink, orange, yellow off red, off green and no dark colors. Seems they are catering to certain types of people who want to blend in to society. Good for ladies, and bottoms both men and women but the shirts probably end up on clearance shelves because they can't sell them. Overall ok, but they have got to get tops of every kind for men. Some employees will offer you a store coupon but not all of them

It could just as easy be five stars. The store was neat, clean and organized. Staff friendly but not pushy. Returned one item no problem. Checked was nice and willing to exchange or refund or subtract from the new purchase. It's nice to be treated like that. A good place to shop.

Went here to have photos taken. A girls day out, and we wanted funny photos of us just messing around. The photographer was so easy going, she just let us have fun. Was a good thing we were her last customer of the day.

I had a good experience shopping at this location. All associates were friendly and doing their best to keep the store tidy and clean! The one difficulty I faced we’re waiting times, mostly for the dressing room then again at the register. I could tell that associates were doing their best to keep people moving and that’s the kind of effort I appreciate during times of long wait. I shopped around the mall and could not find better prices than I did here, I should have not wasted my time elsewhere, JCPenny is where it’s at! Next time I need professional clothing, I’ll be returning to browse your great collection!

Not enough staff. Had a great experience with one cashier and a terrible experience with another sakes assocuate/cashier. It seemed like she had some sort of mental condition. Extremely hyper, talking nonstop, and not a good listener. I tried three times to get across what I wanted in my product order and when the product came in, it was totally not what I had ordered. There are never enough sales associates. Customer service is just not the company's priority. Unfortunately, a sign of the times.

Its fantastic! I love JCPenny! I love all the discounts and rewards its amazing! And they have great merchandise. The only thing of theirs that I do not like is their Women's pants. They fit me horribly, but, again, that is just me. Everything else in that entire store is fantastic. And its clean and the salespeople are courteous and its an overall pleasant time in there.

It’s unfortunate I don’t remember the young man’s name because he gave us the best curbside assistance, we were missing some items, and he kept going in and out of the store getting us information never made us wait a long time he was very polite the whole time. Jcpenney has so many sales and deals both online and in store. However, yesterday I went in after my work break and noticed this elderly lady shouting for help and wondering if any sales person could help her. I told her I would help her find someone. We found this associate working in the women department where the dresses were being marked and placed in racks. The customer kept asking her from a distance if she could help her and it appeared that the associate couldn't hear her and so I got closer and got her attention and asked her if she could help the older customer. Apparently this associate seemed like she had heard the customer the whole time and was ignoring her because she just sighted in displeased and was like I guess I can. I thought it was so rude of her to do that. I mean it's their job and usually jcpeneny employees are trained to be more polite and respectful. This experience made me feel like older customers get ignored by the staff.

Would benefit from larger/clearer signs. We did not see the gas pumps for cars (on the other side of the building), nor the "truck entrance" sign. So, we ended up getting the needed diesel from the truck lanes.

I only went to return something I ordered online that didn't fit. The quality of item ordered was good just too big. I used to shop here quite a bit. I decided to walk around and I was so disappointed in the quality of most of the items in store. Items appeared to have been washed and lost their shape. A plain white tshirt was $37 and looked like it had been washed/stretched out 2 sizes. Very sad but maybe why they are struggling. Plus check hours before you go. They do not have normal pre-covid hours of business.

I didn't have to wait too long in line but I did go to the store a little later into the evening. I had a return to make and did a little last minute Xmas shopping. When I got to the counter the store associate seemed a little annoyed (rolled her eyes and was huffy puffy 🙄😤 ) with the item return but after a few thank yous to her she seemed to lighten up. The door greeter didn't greet just motioned me to come in. I liked that it wasn't crowded, I didn't see cleaning of counter check out between customers. So my in person experience was just ok.

Boy people were out shopping. The line to get off the freeway was long. We found what we were looking for right away. Tried them on and the check out line was fast. The register was ultra fast. Great job J C Penny's! It would have recieved 5 stars if the store employees were filling in and straightening as the day went on. UPDATE, I needed to buy some shorts. No help to be found. I went to the cashier desk, the clerk was folding clothes. He seemed upside that I had interrupted his chores. This generation has not been taught that with a paying customer You won't have a job.

The South doors were not handicap equipped for me to with my knee post surgical scooter. I also had to use elevator which sounded and felt unmaintained and unsafe. The store was well stocked. There were no sales associates available for questions or assistance. The checkers were very kind and helpful. The manager was EXTREMELY accommodating.

Excellent sale going on..always a lot to look at. Except the items I took awhile to look thru for my size did not ring up the price that the sign said...and the cashier seemed to get upset because I asked her to look at the sign,, so she just stood there and asked if I still wanted the items..."Well of course not if I'm not getting the price marked" So she got even more upset because she had to delete all 5 items!! But my trip to Sephora was excellent like always!!!

Oh my goodness.... I had a fantastic experience getting my four year old great grandson's birthday pictures taken! Marielle was so patient and so persistent she got absolutely amazing pictures! I've been taking my family to JCP portrait studio for years and I've never been disappointed. I have to say though, my little guy today was a bit more wiggly than the average child! I think it was cool that they have lots of great clothes for a good price. Just wish they had more variety and more cargo pants available and yes even though I did say good price it still can be a little more reasonable in some cases. Overall, though will I shop JCPENNEY'S anytime love the workers very helpful but need more of them around especially in the men's clothing area.

It was good to see they had several people working in the men's department. Often you cannot find any help. The checkout lines were long however. Each "pod" had no more then two cashiers and some only had one.

This place has NO cell phone service so if you're using an online coupon, be sure to save it to your phone prior to going in. Nghia was so nice and helpful! Wonderful customer service and excellent bargains on clearance items. I needed a cart and there weren't any available upstairs by the juniors dept. Also, very disappointed that they took out the pricing scanners. Inconvenience created when I had to go across the store, stand in line just for a price.

Little is to be said to tge kid with stringy black hair on the other refund registrar She had found me a phone charger but when I came up to be helped she was still busy so I told him what she had found for me over on her side and I pointed it out and she brought it over to him and tried to explain that she wasn't sure it was the right one and we should see if it fits my phone and as she continued he raised his voice over hers and drowned her out HOW RUDE !!! Then he half #**## acted like he was going to check it and I just bought it just left. And it didn't fit! She was trying to save me a trip back.

Employees are courteous and very helpful. Look for coupons prior to arriving, typically you can save 20% off most items. The store is always clean.

Great prices. Got husband shoes and 4 shirts under 55$. Very happy with the quality. Sephora in JC Penney was fabulous. The manager was sweet. I told her what skin problems I had and she knew exactly what brand to use. She was helpful with foundation and primer. They were very sweet to my mother as well and she answered all of our questions. Will definitely be back!

I'm not much of a mall shopper. Needed a long sleeve shirt for Easter. Checked out another department store 1st, but there was a small selection of mens clothes. Then i went to JCPenney. I was surprised to see an entire floor of mens clothes, shoes, suits, sports wear, etc. Some areas were clothing was for a specific brand. I'm definitely coming back to get my clothes.

Super friendly management staff....their security lowers the bar from 5 to3 stars though. Literally saw a couple stealing jewelry and belts but the security guy was too busy checking mine and my sister's bags accusing us of stealing!! Ridiculous! And this was after standing in one available line for 15 minutes and our purchase total was $145! Like I said management is AWESOME and super helpful, nothing helpful or awesome about security :/

My stylist took the time to talk to me about what I wanted done for color and cut as well as the condition of my hair. She considered what she was going to do before she started, and even consulted with another stylist for extra insight and opinion. I am happy with the results and I can go back for a conditioning treatment free of charge. I was apprehensive about getting my hair done here because of bad reviews, but considered that they were mostly over a year old. I'm glad I took the chance and I will go back to

This store has a new look to it from past years. They have large general clearance sections and it's pretty well organized. I like that one has an option to pay reasonable prices for quality items and still get deep discounts at the same store.

Awesome selection of women's clothes and always seem to be having some type of sale. They have cashiers but I have never seen any type of a sales person to help in finding items or answering questions, so be prepared to shop on your own.

My wife had purchased a ring online and the stone fell out shortly after. Nevertheless, we went into the store and spoke with Emilio in fine jewelry. He was very accommodating and worked with his supervisor. They honored the 60 day warranty even though we didn't have the stone or product protection. Thank you, guys!

This is where I tend to buy most my dress shirts. Usually has a friendly staff(never had a bad experience worth mentioning), have a wide selection of clothing, and a home section. Shopping here is always topped off with a visit to Johnny Rockets for a green chile cheeseburger.

Penny's had no place to wait for some one in the beauty salon. The main doors on the south side had no handicap buttons to push to open the doors. The handicap doors were a distance away, which would not work for some to walk to and use.

Wonderful service in the Window Coverings Department. Great deals in the home department. All the clearance is an extra 60% off the clearance prices, there is still great deal in clothing area, especially men's clothes.

I went in looking for pants similar to the "styling" commercials I had seen recently. I was also interested in the button down roll sleeve shirt and skirts. I am SO TIRED of mid-rise pants and too - short, too tight skirts with NO POCKETS. If today is any indication of the norm for the next few years, I will NOT BUY ready made clothes again. $44.00 for badly made in China garments. No more mall for me.

This department store was a normal shopping ground for our family. The last 2 years we've seen a downward slope of attentiveness and customer service. I can't necessarily blame the actual associates because theirs no way that number of associates can run a register and clean up a store. The shelves look like a low end department store or flea market miscellaneous table. Non matching clothing and wrong location of clothing/ merchandise. I feel JCPenncy is a respectful company but has took a step back in respect for itself, not only an image but accountability in their employees worth.

Quite messy in the kids clothing area. The racks were sooo packed you could hardly look through them. Other areas of the store were tidy though. They did have an awesome sale there. But the low rating was due to the clothes on the racks being jammed packed and the sizes were very mixed up. The fitting rooms were dirty as well. Maybe they were understaffed.

Good selection of women's clothing and good prices. Logistics problems: Long lines at cash register upstairs. Outside entrance was closed upstairs. Escalator was broken to the upstairs. Mall entrance was closed downstairs. Elevator busy, so I chose a different mall entrance and entered upper floor of store from upstairs mall entrance.

The Salon at JCPenney is amazing! The staff is super courteous upon arrival all the way through checkout. I always book an appointment through their website which works very efficiently once you register. It evens gives you options to choose your stylist. I would most certainly recommend Julia! I'm pretty sure they accept walk-ins as well, so even if your out shopping and need a quick clean-up or style, prices are more than reasonable.

I have been shopping at JCPenneys for quite a while. They have really good merchandise at JCPenneys. They have really good selection of clothing for men and women. They have a good selection of jewelry. They also have a good selection of makeup for women. I'll go shopping there again. But I'm not too sure if I do it on Black Friday. That's the busiest time of the year. But I'll go shopping there for stuff that I really need.

Also, Jeff C. at checkout brought the heavy box I couldn't manage to my car. You just don't see this kind of service usually. Got a great price on my new cookware set, too! Usually I'm not a fan of JC Penney because I find their stuff extremely unorganized and quite frankly the store is a mess. However, this visit I was looking for curtains and was pleasantly surprised by the selection and price. I found curtains that I absolutely love! The salesperson that helped me was very friendly and even offered up a coupon that I didn't have, saving me an additional 20%. With the sale and the coupon i spent only $15 a panel! If you need curtains, give JC Penney a try, hopefully you will luck out like I did!

I like their brands of clothes for men. I am a larger athletic built guy and they have brands that cut for american men, which are a little bit wider. They fit a lot better. I especially like to look for suits here. The Michael Strahan brands are tailored to my body type, and they aren't extremely expensive. Specially if you need a work suit that might get dirty.

Great service!!! The cashier was still new to their job but had the self confidence to tell me that there was a more experienced employee to help. That employee assisted to their limits even though they needed to go. Then they called in the higher authority to assist with finalizing the transaction. I do hope that JC Penneys realizes the Jewels they have.

If you want great customer service jc penny is the place to shop. I have been shopping with them for years as a card holder. Their prices are amazing as well. The only complaint I would have is the organization of the store needs improvement. But the #1 reason I will continue to shop here is they take their customer satisfaction seriously. If I ever encountered a problem with an associate or an issue management always made sure I was satisfied and address my concerns. I'm big on customer service. The new JCP is not what one might remember as a working mans clothing store. Compare it to Dillard's. You will be quite pleasently surprised. I personally believe it will be one of the surviving ones relative to restructuring. The personal are highly trained and know their products. Very little waiting.
