Juan Carlos MapleNice courts and good lights for night play. Bad thing about these courts is that the bathrooms are locked closed on weekends. No were to go to the bathroom.
RaulI was there yesterday and it looks like the courts were resurfaced. Plenty of light and safe environment. Really can't beat the quality given it's a public tennis court. Plenty of parking and at least 8 courts, but I did not get an exact count.
Jason PaduaCal Dickson offers free, hard tennis courts that are very well maintained. The courts also have bright lights for night play. You will notice that players of all ages and levels play here. I wish we had this type of facility in the Riverview area.
Crystal TennNice free tennis courts. Some cracks in the courts but not a huge deal, rare the balls hits it and goes flying. They are open until 10PM at night, no idea what time they open in the morning. They are pretty busy around 6-8PM most days and can get too full even though there are 8 courts. If you come between 8-10PM you will probably get a court, almost no one is here at 9PM. Big mix of levels and seriousness here, and a lot of families can come. As long as you don't mind other people throwing tennis balls onto your court and you're there for fun, all is well (there is no way to block balls from going to other people's court other than 1 "special" court that is sectioned off by a little fabric net wall). There are bathrooms, but those close around 9PM.

ElbioGreat public tennis courts (8 total-all hard court) with a water fountain, which in Florida is basically an oasis. No bathrooms and I really wish the nets separating courts 1 & 2 were replaced, but still great public courts.

matt s.Tough to get an empty court but there are lights that consistently work. Weekday mornings are less crowded than evenings.
