Large State Park with extensive trail system. Alltrails was very helpful here, trails were only partially marked. There is a pretty good view point from one of the hills, some swampy areas, and lots of rocky cliffs and a small canyon. Hiked an hour and a half and left with much more still to see.

this 744 acre nature reserve is absolutely wonderful. there’s a lot of intersecting trails over woodland and farmland. and what’s even better: i saw a little snake in snake den ☺️

I really like it here, my dog really likes it here as well. The trails are perfectly marked and impossible to get lost, they're also marked on the all trails app if you download that it'll help you navigate them. There are beginner trails here and intermediate as well. There are multiple entry points where you can park to go to these trails, this particular one has a small wooded parking lot you can pull right into. I highly recommend taking your dog or a friend or yourself and enjoy the nature around you.

I'm not sure what some of these people are talking about but the park was easy to find with google maps, there are several trailheads off Brown Rd., it's beautifully rustic and pretty well maintained, the trails are well marked, and the map is pretty darn accurate. Parking is limited though but overall a pretty serene and relatively easy hike.

Snake Den is a true gem. Miles and miles of trails to hike. Lots of scenic spots with great views. Large rock formations throughout. You could hours in here and not see it all.

It's a nice park for riding or hiking. The wide fire roads are very accessible to newer riders, but the narrower and more hilly trails have a lot of rocks that can make them quite challenging.

Super cool trail place in Johnston, Rhode Island behind the fire station on Hartford Avenue. This is a great place to capture some moments with the children. As you can see in the picture, I was able to capture one with mine.....these are the types of pictures they look at for the rest of their lives. Ones that stamp positive, great memories in their minds for life. Go and enjoy the outdoors with the kids. I'm sure they will love the trials, nature scenes, rock formations and of your lucky to get back to the water and fun inlets. Go explore. Great Job Rhodes Island D.E.M. Visited the wicked tulip farm on three property. Wonderful farm with thousands off pick your own tulips available. Will definitely make this a yearly event. Have never seen so many different tulips in one location.

Nice leisure hike. Roughly about 3 miles of trails. All paths are very wide and well maintained. I went on a week day and didn't see a single person on the trails. Nice to get away from everything without getting too far away.

Great assortment of tullips, looks beautiful on the morning sunrise. I strongly recommend arriving early to avoid lines and get the best selection. Take your wife or girlfriend on a date here she will love it!!

Just a large protected area with nothing to do if your not an outdoors person... so many trails! The third parking spot on Brown leads to the most northern trail and by far best area of the park! High cliffs, boulders, chasm type areas.. bring your bug spray!!

Really nice park to go to, especially in the fall. There’s a multitude of trails to choose from, and none of the ones I’ve walked have been too exerting. I’m looking forward to visiting the tulip farm when I get a chance. From what I understand, they are planning on developing the park a bit more soon. Good place to stroll around in nature and relax.

Awesome place to go hiking. There's miles of trails through wooded areas and giant open fields for your dogs to run through. There's great elevated trails you can take that will give you an awesome view of the surrounding area as well. There's these pretty cool Bee hives there as well, please for your safety and the safety of the bees don't mess with them!

Great place to take your family and enjoy. Back pack and have a lunch ( be sure to clean up after yourself). Open space is a great aspect of RI.

Wicked Tulips is on Snake Den Farm. There are trails from the farm leading into Snake Den State Park.

Beautiful place with plenty of variety to keep most interested. I'm posting in reference to it as one of the very rare RI climbing destinations. Numerous short routes & variety. Easier 5.2-5.4 with some challenging lines up to 5.12* *The Rattlesnake(5.12+)

This was not actually Snake Den State Park. We were at the Wicked Tulips Flower Farm which is only open for a few weeks in May to pick your own tulips. There's also an area to just take pictures, no picking allowed. This has become a super Mother's Day tradition. Tickets should be ordered in advance because they sell out quickly!

Great place to go near Providence to get out in Nature. Remember to wear orange during hunting season. Sort of easy to get lost, but there's a trail map if you look on AllTrails.

The first time I went, we did a quick 20 minutes in and out. I was happy to see there were mote than enough loops to spend an hour+ there, if you want. Can't wait to visit once all the leaves are back!

Small, still a fun place for an easy trail run or hike. The eastern head of the main loop tail is usually flooded during rainy seasons.

Sadly! I went may 25! Tulips where are they?😭😭😭😭😭 You should put the time when this please has the tulips season, the page dont give to the followers this information. A lot of person were there, some peoples travel 1 or 3 hours to visit this place. I would like to be there again, but at this time to shooting tulips. ❤❤❤❤

Such a fun place to mountain bike. You are bound to get your butt kicked here but it's a ton of fun. So many trails to ride. Different difficulties. Something for everyone.

Paths not well worn, not blazed. There is a sign that they will be reblazing the paths soon. Wert swampy in areas, got lost and had to take the road back to the car.

This is a park in Johnston Rhode island it is full of snakes. You should probably wear a chain mail suit just in case one of the cobras try to bite you with their venomous fangs. I had alot of fun wrestling with the anaconda. If you like snakes this place is definitely for you. Maybe not for the Indiana Jones type. Or people who don't like snakes on a plane. Maybe if you like Jake the snake Roberts and Damien.

Turn on Brown st & continue on til you see the big sign for the park & farm. There's a big sign eith a map, take a picture of that. Lots of trails, very scenic

I didn't see a single scrap of litter. I followed the trail to the left and when it went through a meadow the trail disappeared and i was lost for an hour. Next time i takenthe trail on the right!
