Nice building. The prices are very reasonable. There are a lot of classes offered. Do not need to be a South Portland resident to use pool, basketball court, or take classes. Pool has men, woman & family locker rooms.

No real drawbacks here. Clean bathrooms. Ample parking. Really good courts. - 1/2 star for no visible snack options

Was there for the Spooky spectacular Karate tournament and it was a wide open space with great angles and the overhead walking track allowed for spectacular views (can't stop up there have to keep walking)

The staff is wonderful and helpful. My daughter absolutely loves taking classes and swimming here. She has grown up participating in so many different activities here and we've always had a great experience.

This has been such a staple place of our lives in South Portland. Great swim teachers who taught all my kids to swim, the track for walking in the winter, the gym where my kids learned to play basketball and other sports. We had an awesome pool party one year.

I've been coming to the South Portland Rec Center for years to play pick-up basketball and to also join the adult basketball league that runs four to five times a year. We've also brought our toddler to the pool here for swim lessons. All in all I have always had a good experience here.

The place is run well. They have a pool, a walking track and a full size basketball court. You can go there to swim, walk, play basketball or some pickle. Too many activities to list, but you can find all the info on the South Portland recreation website.

I primarily play Pickel ball there, but am very impressed with the whole facility. There is lots of things to do for various interest levels, it is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We love the rec center. Open swims are great and the track is excellent. We try to take advantage of as many programs as possible.

I only go there for the indoor track. Itself a grear place to walk if outdoor walking is not an option. The is also open gym to play basketball as well as a swimming pool. O duggest checking out their website for more info.

Very fun! Good place to have a child’s birthday party. There isn’t much to do after an hour or so though.

I was happy with the pool and locker room for lap swim. Sunday night volleyball is well organized too.

Back side of the rec center. Parking is easy. Not sure if this is a covid temporary setting or not.

Clean, appealing and lots of activities. Sad there is not open swim in the morning on Sundays, like to have family dinners Sunday evening.
