This is probably the largest arena in Maine, and as such, it gets some of the biggest acts coming through the state. From monster truck driving, to Disney on Ice, to annual UMaine hockey games, to concerts to high school basketball playoffs, this place can do it all. There's nothing particularly special about the place. If you've ever been to a midsize arena before you know what to expect. But they updated the entrance 5 years back and it's clean and decent inside.

I was blessed with the opportunity to work concession for Disney on Ice at Cross Insurance Arena through Complete Labor on Preble St Here in Portland.... it allowed me to make some extra Christmas money over the 3 days and I had A-blast!!!!! selling popcorn🌽🌽🌽 and cotton candy , the best part was seeing all the little young ones enjoying all the characters and the show !!All the songs being sung and dancers on ice what A Radical Time....I highly recommend anybody that reads this if you get a chance to go to Disney on ice take it!!!!

We just saw Jo Koy. Great show, but one thing. For the people sitting in the back and not on the floor, it would be a good idea to have screens showing the comedian. It allows us to be able to feel like we are close to the stage and the comedian doesn't look like an ant. When it comes to comedy facial expressions can be imperative. Maybe look into that.

This is a hot spot to catch a live show. The sound is professional, The Performers are amazing and the lights set the mood. If you catch a concert any place in Portland, make sure you hit up this place October 8th to catch a real live show!!

The Cross Insurance Arena has been a great venue for concerts and sporting events. I have seen many memorable concerts here over the years. The recent renovations have greatly improved the overall experience, and event parking was a breeze. I recently was given free tickets to see the Maine Mammoths, and the presentation was awesome; not a bad seat in the house. The event staff and vendors were helpful and friendly. My friends and I had a blast, so I definitely would reccomend checking out a variety of shows at this venue!

Shannon was awesome with organizing our girls youth hockey group tickets for the Mainers game for "Women in Sports" night. She also had the girls on the benches during warm ups. All the girls had a blast!

1st time to see Russ. Speedy entry. The only complaint I had was the little amount of places to get a drink making lines crazy and usually they ran out of everything by the time you even got up to grab a drink.

Went to this venue last night for the AJR concert. There isn't a bad seat in this arena, but things can get kinda tight with the rows. Food was decent and not too expensive for concert food. Sound quality was decent, the opening act had way too much bass, but the sound engineer fixed that. I don't know if that's at fault of the arena's sound system or what. Parking was a breeze and was definitely worth the trip from MA.

Excellent seating and everything was very clean. It would be cool if the venue’s COVID-19 expectations were right at the top of their (mobile at least) website. The music during the game kept setting off my decibel warning app — But is that a bad thing?

So, it was built in the 70’s and “updated” in the 2010’s. It’s a fine facility in terms of bathrooms, concession stands, etc. it is an AMAZING place to watch a hockey or basketball game. Great sight lines from every seat. Ultra modern it is not, but if you’re there for the game, it’s a great place.

Took in Mariners game. Reasonable prices in the arena, small selection but everything you need. My problem came with the tickets. Bought online had to use Ticketmaster. Game tickets were only 20 bucks but the fees were 18.50 more and I did all the work myself online...I call BS

Great seats from up above, for Jeff Dunham. Lifting spirits in some dark times. Quick hitting comedy, with witty improv, some special moments of laughter to remember for a life time. Thanks Jeff for pure comedy gold.

I've been to quite a few arenas and this one by far is my favorite! It's not too big and not too small, just the right size to be comfy. The restrooms are readily accessible and so are the food stands! Definitely looking forward to watching some more Mariners games here!

I was there last week for a HS basketball game and was told I couldn’t bring in an EMPTY water bottle. I always bring one with me to fill up inside any arena. Mostly, to help eliminate single-use plastic waste but also to save money. You charge $3/bottle and I am a Mom of 5 kids...admission for our family was already high but now you want me to buy water for all??? There is NO reason behind your policy except to make money...please change your policy. It’s good for everyone!

We saw Elton John here and it was an amazing show. Because the arena is so small we had amazing views. Unfortunately the sound system was no that great but overall it was a great venue

Saw a hockey game here and was very surprised with the quality of the venue. It looks like they just got a new jumbotron and the viewpounts seem to be very good all around. The only bad things are the concourses are way to tiny, walking around in-between periods was almost impossible and the lines for food were also too long. Also it took 5times longer to get into this arena then any other arena ive been too. People scanning tickets were extremely slow lines to get in were out the door.

The Cross Insurance Arena in Portland is a great place for to see most types of events. The Maine Mariners Hockey games are family friendly and entertaining. The venue is small enough that most seats are excellent for enjoying any event.

Maine's largest venue for public events, CCCC offers fairly comfortable seating and almost no bad seat in the house. Food & drink are as pricey as in any other venue, and my only real complaint is the lack of adequate bathroom facilities for large crowds.

I saw the jeff dunham show.he and his puppets are awsome! We had 6th row floor seats. We were crammed tighter than sardines sitting in folding card table syle chairs the chairs were crammed tight together leaving NO room to move! I could not even clap my hands i had to sit with my arms crossed and legs and knees tight together my back and but hurt realy bad during the two hour show .Ill bet they made some cash!

Extremely rude, Head of Security Person! Was not allowed to save seats for my family at Bonny Eagles Graduation Ceremony, 6/3/16. Yelling when he could have explained in a civilized manner. Rude, Rude, Rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got there before family so we could sit together, had elderly parents and just wanted to sit together but you would have thought we committed a crime by saving seats.
