Reviews of Two Rivers State Recreation Area
We just went fishing with the kids for the afternoon. Had a lot of fun. And there was a lot to go to. We caught fish and frogs and saw tons of turtles. The people we got the annual permit from were awesome and helpful. And he was very nice and told us where we could catch some fish. The bathroom at the main place was nice and clean. There was hardly anyone there when we went though. It was a Tuesday afternoon.
Stayed here for four nights - were able to move to different sites, because the park was practically empty by Sunday afternoon. Neat park with many different campgrounds, fishing ponds - even a swimming area in one of the ponds. The grounds are kept very clean and mowed regularly. The only strange thing was that one bathroom building had free showers and another had coin operated showers- not sure what that was about. There is also a concession store right at the entrance to the park, but it had limited hours during the week, so we had to go a mile outside the park for ice in the evenings. Would stay again if we are camping in the area.
Great spot for all camping needs, tents and RV parking. Located in Waterloo, NE.. Lodging, Camping, Fishing, and Swimming, Playground for kids. 10 Caboose style Cabins are available with reservations. Permits required: Out of state vehicle permit, Park Entry Fee, and Fishing Licenses.Has August 28,the concession stand has caught fire, so it will take time to remodel.
Nice place to camp. Was in Riverside where bathrooms are pit toilet only. There is fresh water hydrant but no sign for it. There is no security lights on or in the bathroom which would be helpful. Be sure to ask for map if youve never been. Noise pollution can be loud at times (trains, planes, boats, military ammunition?) but not gonna dock a star for that. Lots of wildlife to watch!
We've gone camping here a few times and had a fantastic experience every time!
Plenty of fish, good swimming spots and places to canoe too.
Easy in and out, friendly people and not a far drive from Omaha. I do recommend bringing bug spray and you're own fire wood.
I mainly use two rivers recreational area for tent camping. It's very nice camping close to the river but this place does tend to get very crowded. Having a lot of people is not always a bad thing but most of the time there are just rude people who are inconsiderate they play loud music all night that yell at each other or they leave their engines running for no apparent reason.
Great fun with family. Ice Cream stand and plenty of fishing areas. Can not say anything negative about the campgrounds itself. Had a great time and my boys pulled in a ton of bluegill and a few cat. I will say the showers were pretty gross. If you are getting low on water in the rv just take a wash off in the lake to skip the grimy showers and slimy floors of the wash house. Besides that this park is a 9 out 10.
Everything was great camping wise but when it came time to dump it was a huge disappointment. One dump station for all these campers. This is unacceptable! Spend the money and add additional dump stations. Having your customers wait in line for well over an hour is just plain wrong. Other than that everything was great.
I like all the different lakes they have to offer. Camped here about 10 years ago. Today we drove by the trout lake and it was packed full of people. We brought our daughter here to "treasure hunt" she took her metal detector she got for Christmas to the swim beach.
We are new to the area and just came upon this a month or so back a lovely recreation place... Lots of little lakes and cabooses refurbished for camping plenty of other campground areas it just looks like an all over nice place My husband has enjoyed learning to fish there
What a fantastic recreation area! We stayed four nights here in the riverside campground (most basic - no hookups) and had a phenomenal time. The place is huge and all of it very clean and well kept. 5 lakes for fishing, swimming, and boating, all the amenities you could want (showers, toilets, dump station, fresh water fill, concession stand and store) plus the beautiful Platte river runs right along beside it. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful even when we were arriving late. Weekend was quite crowded but emptied out during the week. We would return here anytime, still a ton we did not get to do!
It's a nice little park for picnics, fishing, camping, and swimming. It's not a great place for hiking though as they close most trails for extended hunting season. Two Rivers is one of those convenient parks for me it's close to where I live and it doesn't get very crowded during the times that I'm usually there on Sunday afternoons for day camping but also like to tent camp here. I have a lot of really nice photos that I will add to this review later. if my review was helpful to you, please smash that thumbs-up button.
Stayed at oak grove, sites a little tight getting in and out, but overall really nice park, drove around to different camping areas and all very nice. Very quiet campground, definitely will be back.
First time going WANT BE MY FAMILY LAST from the staff to fishing i promise you best camping trip LUV THIS PLACE
Two rivers is a great campground, except the bathrooms have been in construction for over a year at goldenrod loop. Cottonwood loop has a shower but limited parking. The beach is nice by the goldenrod loop. When water is low, at riverside loop parking area, to fence walk out, you can walk to a beach on the lake and also sit or play on sand bars (love), its warmer water than the beach by goldenrod, and not deep for my kiddos. Consession has awesome food, and my kids love the twist ice cream cones and slushies. My favorite campground now.
Solid campground with a lot of room for improvements.
Pros: lots of camp sites, close to Omaha, lots of activities, beautiful scenery, fully stocked camp store, clean facility, Friendly staff.
Cons: only one shower house available on the opposite end of the campground (new one looks built on the north end but isn't open). Only one dump station when they have room for at least three which would cut down on the lines trying to get out Sunday morning. No shade in our camp sites (113&115).
Solid trout lake, good small hiking trails and over all clean park. Swimming area is fun as well
We always have such a good time not super crazy like other parks. The staff is very helpful and friendly along with the hosts!
Beautiful, caught a nice catfish which we released him back into the lake.
Camping on the Platte in the Fall is great. We had the campground to ourselves.
Hadn't been there in 20 yrs. Wow! Areas along the Platte River are being reconstructed and are mostly closed. This Park is Beautiful and the Staff there are unbiased, friendly and very professional.
We enjoyed the quiet setting of the Oak Grove campground in this state park. The vault toilets weren't great but not the worst I've seen. The beach was alright, nice sand but quite a bit of algae and muck. The Cottonwood campground had a nice location next to the Platte River and a shower facility that was in good shape. Far enough from Omaha that you feel out of the city but close enough if you want to visit.
With family:
Fished in Trout lake. Caught Tiny bass, Japanese pond carp, and a crappie. Kept the crappie. Ate at the cafe. Service was good, food was good, I had a vegetarian omelet. Talked to the owners they were friendly and told us that the flood water never reached the cafe. They were boated in so they could check their property. Damage was sustained elsewhere on the river side.
A fun park to visit. Requires a state park entry permit which can be purchased at the visitors building at the park entrance. Good fishing, clean swimming area, nice camping areas for both tents and RV's. Very crowded during the weekends and holidays. I prefer camping on weekdays since I do not much care for overly crowded campgrounds.
My kids had so much fun swimming. It was very clean & just an all around great place!
Great fishing. Park is clean and groomed well. The kind of old-school place I like.
Nice park however it is dead silent there which is a good thing except for the railroad crossing and trains every 25 minutes all night long we have a tiny camper and we leave the doors open weather permitting for circulation and this honestly is the only issue but it kept us up all night long call. The grounds are beautiful there's ample fishing in the park is a very popular place for a reason.
Amazing place to get away and relax with the family. Fun for all ages with well maintained areas and beautiful scenery. The beach was awesome but nothing like watching a sunset over the Platte.
Very nice state park, my family camped here for several nights and enjoyed it. Bathrooms and showers are clean and the entire property is well kept.
Awesome fishing and cookout opportunities. Any day fishing is better than being in the office.
This park is good for fishing but it needs some work. The restrooms especially need updated and in heavy rain75% of the campsites flood. Still a beautiful park, but have back up lodging if you are tent camping.
Finally a good sized bass at lake 3.
One of our favorite State Parks in the Omaha area, we love all the different outdoor activities. Looking forward to seeing the new upgrades to Fawn Meadows and additional dump station and hopefully they will add some more water hook up sites.
Used to go camping here years ago and stay in the caboose cabins they have alongside of the river. It was always a wonderful time. Good memories.
Very clean area! I couldn't catch any fish, but I did score a ton of moss which was pretty neat. While sitting on the shore, I kept thinking about why people don't try to make the dried moss into paper instead of cutting down millions and billions of tree's every year.. idk but it was a very nice and family oriented park.
Some spots are a little small but the river is fun
Great place to camp, and start a journey or end one. The staff were very nice and very helpful. I'll definitely be coming back here.
Great river beach w fine sand. Lots of natures and animals to explore for kids.
Great place to camp! Not too my people around, tent camping area (Riverside camp grounds) was very clean & well kept! Will go back for sure!
So wonderful to see familes together enjoying the outdoors!
The park is in wonderful shape with well maintained grasses and wildflowers. The river was nice and high.
A great place to spend a day with my family to do some fishing and just to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The check-in station personnel on this day were very pleasant and professional.
Beautiful park, very well maintained. Lots of great fishing and really nice swimming with a big sand beach. If your on the river you will have to get used to air boats being loud but, I never heard one before 9am.
We purposely camped in the middle of the week so we could have privacy and were harassed daily, no music after 10, no dirt bikes,, no riding truck to swim area, no pets in swim area or sand ( I had to leave my poor dog in the truck while I took kids swimming). Our last day we had people trying to take our spot because the receptionist told them we had checked out already.
Very lovely and lively campground! I would go their many other times!
Excellent outdoor location for those who enjoy nature with room to explore. Lots of fishing spots to try with bait available on site, and a swimming beach area as well. Friendly staff, and the Caboose Cabins are very cool. Highly recommend!
Loved my experience fishing there last week. Was wondering why its so difficult to find fishing hours online though. Can i get a time for when fishing opens?
So you have your choice of several lakes to fish ,(river also) including a trout lake where you buy a trout stamp at the main office you can either get a daily park pass or an annual one if you already have one then it's good there also. There was a swim Beach which is lots of fun it is marked off and good for the smaller kids to be able to get wet comfortably too as well as adults to be able to get wet or lay on a raft, grills close by & picnic tables. Several campgrounds
Took the new to us travel trailer for the weekend, we stayed in lakeside campground with 30A hookup. Overall the park was very nice, the ranger was very helpful when I rolled up at 9PM, and picked me a great camping spot for my Wife and I, and our 4 dogs.
The RV dumping station was easy to get to, and had working black and clean water separately placed, we would for sure come back for another weekend.
Stayed in the Lakeside campground. Nice area, sites are pretty flat, bathrooms are pretty nice. Must pay for showers 50¢ for 3 mins, not too bad. Only electric hook-ups, no swimming beach at this one, but it's not far. Will go again!
Stay two nights in a Caboose. Had a great time. Very clean. First time renting a Caboose and were impressed. The only thing didn't particularly care for is that out of the 6 beds, 4 of them you had to climb a ladder to get to. Kind of harder for older folk.
Great trout fishing, room for kids to fun around and play, and a place to clean your fish. If you go on the right day you will be catching fish nonstop.
Our family loves camping here! The place is beautiful! Always a great experience! Everyone is wonderful and friendly ❤️ 😊 …
Nice park. Well kept. Would be a 5 star if it had two dump stations. Updated...still doesn't have two dump stations. Due to the numbers of campers, leaving at the end of the weekend usually results in waiting in a line waiting to dump. Game and parks continue to spend lots of money at other parks and forget about others.
Restrooms/showers in Cottonwood not done/working.... showered in another camp spot one night, and then those had a pipe break so those weren't available. Next night went to another camp spot with showers and those had a line. We were just happy to have a shower! Bath houses and out houses were clean. First night out houses stunk so bad couldn't even stand it, then next day no toilet paper. However, camp grounds clean, staff friendly, nice amenities for family. Didn't visit the camp convenience store, but greatly appreciated.... it just didn't fit the hours that we needed it. We will be back!
Great place to camp or visit. We had a site next to the water. Sandy beach and lake to swim
Reviews here were fairly accurate. Decent campground. Manager unfriendly with attitude problem. Rest of staff awesome.
Bathrooms OK, BUT half the locks on doors were broke. We had person watch the door when we had to use those with non-functioning locks.
Sand beach was average. Water was filthy, but it is a lake. People were having fun in the water. We stayed on the beach and enjoyed our beer.
AND, only ONE DUMP STATION!
Beware, if you check out on the busy moving days, you will wait!!
Price was decent. Despite some cramped spaces we will come back and reserve the more private sites. We also use a dump station elsewhere, so that helps.
Been fishing at Two rivers for 50+ years
Trout lake is AWESOME! ! Good for little children and adults, camping and fishing is the BEST relaxation! ! ! Go and enjoy!
This is a great place to camp! They need more dump and fresh water stations (only one of each), but very peaceful and fun!
It was a fun and unique experience to stay in a caboose. However, our grill had large holes in the bottom. Bunk beds are not comfortable so if you have back problems might want to bring a blow up mattress. Also, the larger bed is hard to get to as you have to climb up to it. The store is handy and has a good variety of stuff. Lots of fishing lakes a small play ground with swings and a slide and a small swimming area with a decent beach but little shade.
Had a great time, there are a lot of places to fish, camp, relax. Had to swim in the river because the swimming lake doesn't open until after Memorial Day. (Still not sure why, it's unsupervised) A lot of places to picnic with tables and fire rings with grills on them. Restrooms/outhouses are fairly clean, typical of any outhouse situation. Garbage cans and dumpsters were easy to find and there wasn't any trash thrown around.
My family stayed in the caboose park. The kids enjoyed it, bunk beds and all. In july, it's hot, but the swimming beach was cold. Cell reception was spotty, but good at cottonwood camp loop. Staff nice and flowers beautiful. Not a romantic place to stay but if you like fishing and swimming in the lake, then it's nice.
Family friendly area, our first time camping here and everyone says hi to each other wether they are at their camp area or walking there dogs, the staff and security is very professional
Several small lakes for fishing as well as campgrounds near the Platte River. The trout lake is well stocked in the early spring. I only wish that the camp sites were not so crowded together, but it's pretty typical for Nebraska.
This was a fun place to camp. The campgrounds were nice and level and the lakes are very pretty. The bathrooms were very clean!
Great place. Beautiful location and great amenities. Unfortunately there was a lot of little bits of trash around our site and around other sites in the campground. It seemed like it was of little concern to the owners. The office staff was also quite rude and unable to explain the basics of the check in process. The location is the only saving grace for this place.
Great place to take the kids fishing in the early spring. The trout are really best when the water temp remains cold or at least cool and taste best that time as well. The lake is generally clean. I avoid the weekends because people are shoulder to shoulder and I like to spin cast for my trout. Other than the trout pond, the other ponds/lakes aren't really worth much and I've had little to no luck fishing them over the past 15 years or so. Its a lot of fun to catch these fish and when they're hitting they are hitting. Last year they were wiped out due to a gull problem that seems to have been fixed this year. There is plenty of camping and walking area to get out into nature and simply relax and enjoy. Worth the price of the annual park stamp which is required for entry.anyone else find it impossible to see when fish are stocked?
The camp grounds were very nice, shady, plenty of room and clean. The restrooms and showers on the other hand could use some updating and maybe cleaned a bit more or even more often. The swim area is not big enough but ok. The fishing ponds are definitely not kid friendly to much obstruction in edge of water.
Parallel campsites in Cottonwood campground. Left side you exit into road. Right next to Platte River. Nice playground. Bring freshwater and empty black and gray tanks. One dump site for all campgrounds. Expect long line when leave. Lousy phone service despite being 15 minutes from omaha suburbs.
Love our State Parks. Still looks like it is recovering from several years of flood damage. Let's be sure to support our parks so they will have funds to get back to their original state.
My children love going swimming in the lake at two rivers and I love going to visit the rivers and just floating down them :)
Nice place for family camping. It would be nice to have a few more restrooms; especially restrooms equipped with soap. Restrooms could be cleaner. The outhouse at the Riverside area was out of toilet paper twice in the 3 days we were there.
It was great . Except one person who decided it would be cool to race around the entire camp grounds. At like four in the morning with a messed up muffler. Making noise. Interrupting sleep. Other wise two rivers camping was good
Staff in office very friendly. All the restrooms/out houses were kept clean. They were serviced 3-4 times a day. One of the few campgrounds I've been to where campers actually follow the rules. By 10pm all was quite.
Camped here for the first time June 5-6, 2020. It was fantastic. The neighbors could not have been better. Very quiet at 037 Fawn Meadows. Loved it and can't wait to get back!
My fave recreation area in this part of the state. The swimming beach on the Platte is my favorite place to swim, full stop. Tent sites are clean and beautiful, and the caboose cabins are very nice at a great price.
The campground bathrooms are so nasty! They are some of the worse I have ever seen!! The showers were also gross! The playgrounds were a little bit of a joke! Some tires thrown together and very old park equipment. One of the lakes did have a small beach which the kids did like. But they could do so much to this park to make it a more sought after camping site! It just seemed so dirty compared to the other parks!
I've gone to Two Rivers several times with family including young children. The staff are great and always willing to help. This is one of my favorite locations to camp in Nebraska.
Been in spot 45 twice, loved the spot.
But don't know why you would have to pay for a day pass in your vehicle when you already pay for your site. Ends up being over $30 a day for water electric. And you have to pay for a shower, who does that lol. Other than that it was a good place
We stayed 4 days. Loved the cabooses. Very clean but hard to get into the top bunks and the copoalla. Also wished the windows were clear. It rained and I would've loved to see rain but the windows were covered over.
Very beautiful and quiet park. Wish it was more dog friendly when it comes to areas for letting them swim. Otherwise our family enjoys visiting
This is a quick commute from omaha to camp. Good for Fishing, bike riding, swimming on the beach and just hanging out. The best bathroom is on lakeside campground, and they are building another good bathroom on goldenrod campground.(showers take quarters at these 2 sites.) Onsite restaurant is not too bad either.
The Caboose cabins are rustic and adorable, and a great way to get back to nature without having to truly rough it. Just remember your cooking gear and bedding!
The land is nice, however the facilities are in disrepair (bathroom doors won't close) and it cost 6$ to get in. For that price you expect things to be useable/fixed. Has some nice information boards though and as I said the grounds keeping is fine.
Very convenient. Camping and fishing. Caught 3 channel cats 3/4 lbs last week amongst the sea weed. Cottonwood RV area is being worked on post flood.
Always a wonderful weekend. Well kept sites and surrounding areas.
Nice campground. The new showerhouse was dirty and the change machine wasn't working so we couldn't shower after a hot, sweaty day. Park Rangers we're innefective in controlling a group that was heavily i toxicated at the beach being obnoxious and inappropriate (guys pulling girls' shirts down) with children of all ages around. This was also 2 days after someone drown there, so maybe they need to step their game up. Overall we had a good time, but it had more to do with the people we were with than the park itself. Nebraska State Parks are also too expensive these days for what you get. NRDs are much better value overall.
When I went to two rivers, it was after a bad storm and we couldn't catch anything but twigs. The restrooms were closed and the main facility wouldn't let visitors use the restroom. It could be a beautiful spot, but it's much less accommodating then Platte or Mahoney.
Nice campground, on site convenience store, river access and showers and bathrooms conveniently located. Great fishing and pleasant atmosphere. Also cabins are available for reservation. Great for all family's.
Great place very well kept. Lots of little lakes and a river to fish,a swimming area . There is a small store on location for any last minute or forgotten items as well as snacks and a grill. Two Rivers is also just a short distance from civilization but secluded enough to let the time pass by
Store has a lot of essentials. Plenty to do in the campground. Everyone is friendly from the campground hosts to the front desk people. Great place to bike around so bring those. Lots of very shady campgrounds!
Pros: close to Omaha, some sites on the river which is great to site and watch the water flow!
Cons: this park could be 5 star if they - had more than one dump station and water fill. upgraded the showers, fixed the roads, trimmed the trees and updated the power at the sites. Seems Nebraska state parks puts money into the nearby Mahoney State Park and this is a "step child" park.
Perfect place to relax, to hike, camp or just have a picnic around the nature.
It was a very nice place to camp. The lake was nice with plenty of fish and toads jumping and hopping around. It was all good except for the lack of places to put a kayak in the water.
All the facilities are above standards, except the bathrooms are ok. The campgrounds are quite beautiful but they are not very outdoorsy. Mostly great but the customer service was definitely sub-par and made the process confusing, not to mention the high price tag, otherwise pretty okay.
Great park. Good camping areas and well maintained. Lots of fishing options including trout lake and the Platte River. Good swimming lake and consession area with great workers and great service. Overall a great experience.
Really enjoyed my camping stay.
Campsite was clean and not overly crowded. Plenty of trees, nearby water for fishing, and the short drive from Omaha make this a pretty nice spot to spend part of your weekend.
Nice camp ground. Spacious sites. Main downfall is only 1 dump Station, so you have to wait in line for a while.
A beautiful setting! Everyone is so nice.
Great park Great staff, nice camping sites. Very clean bathrooms and showers.
Two Rivers has always been a family favorite for camping. Many great sites to choose from. I love that it's on the Platte River. You can play and swim in the river or swim in the little swimming pond with the beach.
Nice for a quick weekend trip. Most campsites have showers. All have electrical hookups. Most campers here use RVs rather than tent camping. A few good lakes for fishing.
Camped with a group of scouts. They had a great time and the layout of the property gave us many options to do a variety of activities with the kids. Fishing,hiking,fire- starting, games, cooking and spotting.
Great hook ups and you can get pretty secluded if you want
Very nice and fun for the family. Super pretty. If you plan on drinking just remember it's a state park so after 10pm its tech illegal.
Great camping experience! All the facilities are clean. The beach/swim area is very vary small.
This is a beautiful park. The rv sites are level. It provides water and elec at the site, and there is a dump and water fill close by. Very well maintained
Horse facilities are also available.
We have been enjoying this campground for decades. The recent upgrades and maintenance is appreciated. The place looks great and the caboose remodeling is a big plus!
Great place to camp. Well taken care of. Wish they had full hook ups
.
Great place to Camp. It was a lot of fun. Lots of trees and water. The only downside was lots of mosquitoes too. It is a very busy place so it's hard to get a campsite unless you reserve ahead of time.
This is usually our absolutely favorite place to be in Nebraska. I'm disappointed in the "neighbors" this trip, a lot of trash on the ground (I've made my kids walk the park twice even though it is not their trash) and people just seem unfriendly (maybe it's the heat?).
Great lakes lots of room for camping and swimming overall a great experience for 1 person just wanting to swim or for a whole family. I definitely recommend going here.
Great place for my dogs and very clean!
We love camping at Two Rivers. Very clean campsites, nice bathrooms, and plenty for the kids to do. Definitely one of our favorite tent camping spots.
A great place to get away that isn't far from Omaha. We went over the 4th and were able to get a site in a great area. The one thing I'm not crazy about is it is usually a bit on the dirty side.
Always great camping here, wether in a tent or camper. The staff is excellents, very friendly, & provide excellent customer service!! V concessions and is a great variety of stuff & the absolute best breakfast!! We highly recommend!!
Wonderful people that work at the concession stand and the rangers are very helpful clean bath houses nice Beach swimming lots of trails for hiking River and lakes to fish what more could you want 😉😊 …
Is a beautiful park, but we couldn't drink after 10 p.m., it kind of put a damper on the bachelorette party we were having for our friend.
Nice big park. Multiple camping parks, multiple fishing holes/lakes, quiet and peaceful. This week, the river access was blocked due to storm dammage, but what a nice place to get away to!
Very Nice Campsite, the staff was Great!
Alanna at the front desk did a great job and got us set up with 3 riverside spots for the weekend.
Thanks guys!
Keep up the Great Work!😃
Nick
The staff was wicked friendly and was very nice to walk around the lakes! A closer shower would've been nice but all is good....Will camp there again.
Nice place to camp. Wish they'd have full hookup sites for campers and more modern facilities for tenters.
Cleaner lakes for fishing and plenty of room, well matained
Clean and pretty camping areas. Lots of scout service projects going on to help the park stay nice. Have only been twice in fall. Need to go in springtime to fish.
Best state park I have every been to. Its clean and well kept and highly well stocked! If you got time definitely go!!
Nice swimming area and spaced out campsites
This place is ok, I have stayed here in my fifth wheel 2 or 3 times for about a week at a time, this place does not have full hookups, I have always got just water and electric. This park has a shower house but you have to pay for your showers.
Beautiful park. Stayed in one of the caboose cabins which was outstanding. Enjoyed our stay.
Nice campground. Very few ladies of leisure.
I love coming here. It's a great place to relax. You've got camping, fishing, swimming, grilling and parks to play at for kids. Lots of fun.
I love Two Rivers! Always nice and friendly... Except they changed their bathrooms... The showers cost money now, the water never got warm, and it smelt of sewage water.
A home away from home. The Concession For food there is the best. Say hi to Dawn and John. And if you go camping our Host was and still is Tressa My friend. Tell them hi for us. Linda and Russ.
Great campground. Nice lakes to look at and walk around. Camps are clean. Stewards keep loud campers in check. Bathrooms are smelly, like really smelly.
Thought this area of eastern Nebraska was serene with multiple lakes for fishing and the Platte river on its border
Close to town... fun little place. Not very large 'lakes', and the fishing is only so-so, even by Nebraska standards. Outside of peak times, not busy
Two Rivers is our go to beach, thankfully this summer they cleaned up their act and dragged the beach, got clean new sand, and even dragged the lake. Wonderful.
Another great Nebraska State park. Fishing, camping, and Railroad Caboose cabins to rent. Close to West Omaha. Awesome scenic surroundings.
One of the cleanest parks I've been to in a long time. There's camping, fishing, and walking trails. I love it out there!
Nice place to camp and fish. Could use a 2nd dump site for as big as it is.
Finally got to swim for the first time this year due to all the covid fear. Ap happy to have a nice place to get in the water.
Stayed for two days, three nites n a cabooses. Whole family had a blast. Comfortable sleeping, fire pit n grill. Loads of fun.
Drop In/Pull out spot for kayaking at the day use area. Plenty of parking and restrooms. You will need a state park pass. Calendar year 2018 $6/day or $30/annual.
Really enjoyed my time here. Thanks for a well maintained, nIce place to camp. The burgers served here are GREAT!
Cool place to camp (love the river), but the mosquitoes punished my family!
Large pull through sites in the Cottonwood area where we are camped. Busy this weekend, but quiet. Lots of trees and grass.
Great place to go. Beautiful sunsets, a place to really appreciate Big Sky Country.
Nice camping spots to pick from. Swimming and fishing. Nice place to ride your bike. New shower houses. Been coming here for years.
Had a great night of camping and great next day of fishing. I like they have different areas to explore around here.
Stayed here last weekend. Great park and very quiet. Fishing in lake 1 and 2 ducked though
Nice place for camping, has shower facility and electrical hookups. Can fish on the river or the lakes. Able to bring your horse.
Gorgeous camping but showers and bathrooms Are DISGUSTING - NOT JUST FILTHY but totally needing repaired. Sad.
Very nice area to go swimming with a big enough beach, but not too large. Easy to keep and eye on the little ones.
Decent enough. Good camping sites but they go quickly like all other places near Omaha.
Stayed a week. Really enjoyed it. Good fishing, lots of shade, friendly staff.
This is nice place to camp, fish, swim, or hike. It's great that it is so close to town.
Park is well kept. Staff are friendly. Great place for a family outing not too far from Omaha.
I go fishin when I go there. Have not caught anything big. Bank fishin is hard because of all the muck around the shore. The OUTHOUSES are awful!!
The only downside to the campground is the reserve option I feel all camping spots should be first come first served. This goes for all campgrounds that have reserved spots. Maybe I'm just old school
The cabooses are always a fun stay and convenient to Omaha attractions. It's refreshing to wake up and walk out your 'hotel' to the outdoors.
Very clean facilities, and a lot to do within a 10 minute drive of Omaha. Very kid friendly as well.
Nice place to fish near urban areas, but can be busy.
Great place that is close to Omaha for some camping. They also have beaches which are easily accessible.
Too hot for fishing... but they try hard here. Nice lakes... pretty clean.
Love the horse area! They need disinfectent inside the restrooms however sugested.
Love this park, especially the swimming lake/pond. Nice little beach to cool off at!
Camp there for the College World Series. Really enjoyed it it was about a 30 to 40 minute drive to the ballpark. Great environment
Not very good fishing, need a trash site, need mor drinkable water spots.
Love bike riding and our caboose 10!
Great place to camp. So glad they were able to open for Memorial Day!
Really enjoyed our stay huge camp area and I'd like to try the Caboose camping next year.
A little bit of everything here to help you connect back to nature.
I love this camp ground so much but they are not on top of keeping control of loud music and yelling at the late night hours
Great park with swimming, fishing, camping, cooking out options. Great place to get together with some friends.
Lots of camping stalls great fishing holes and a swimming beach. Great family fun.
Park could be maintained better by clearing all the dead trees, raising low areas and camping areas for standing water to keep the mosquitoes down and mowing better around the park to keep the bugs down.
Nice place, lots of shade, beautiful lakes, but overfished and crowded..... must try the ice cream!
Easy access. Lots of spaces for fishing. Nice swimming area.
Great camping in metro area. Plenty of fishing and scenery. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
A great state park. Well maintained.
Recommend.
There aren't many natural water features in this area so Two Rivers is a valuable retreat for me.
Great place to get out in nature and enjoy quality time with family in the great outdoors.
Great getaway just minutes outside the city ... Well, thirty anyway. Been there for as long as I can remember ... From adolescents, to now in my 40's
Great time till a off duty ranger start cussing at us about our dog was very rude could of kindly asked us to put dog on chain instead of being so rude his nane was Kirk but the place itself was a great place
It is so beautiful and tranquil out here. I camp here at least a few times a summer!
Great State Park! Lots of hiking, a swim beach, fishing, horse trails, and train cabins for camping!
Horse trails, walking, playgrounds, fishing, tents campers, trailers, rent a caboose. Picnic swim... It's all wonderful
Hiking in the off season is a bit difficult. I look for ward to returning in order to fish as that is a main focus of the layout of the park.
Awesome place close to the city with a little of everything, wildlife gets hit hard though during the seasons because it is so close.
So far it has been really nice. Peaceful. Walk to the river and swim.
Two Rivers State Park is a nice place to camp. They keep it clean.
Great camping for anyone who loves to camp. Very clean and well maintained.
Nice park. Good camping. Nice snack bar/quick shop.
The park has changed over the last 16 years and the park is missing out on a lot. My family will be using Louisville state park more this year.
This is a very nice place for RV camping. The dump station is very easy to use.

Beautiful location, so much fun
Awesome! I love getting out of the city and in the river. So peaceful.
Good to see people out.
Could use a little more mowing or cleaning along the roads.
Camping spots are generous but the amenities like showers are sparce.
We live camping and it's a great place to let the kids play
Rangers make sure no funny business happens, very fun, family oriented camping
Very clean, large camping spots, lots of shade and extra parking.Close to the rivers and lakes.
Sad the flood caused so much damage and they had to close the Riverside camping area. Hope they fix it soon.
Need to spray for skeeters!!! And maybe have better parking spots near the showers! :)
We love this place!
It looks great....even though there was the flood! Nice and cleanm
Its such a fun place to hang out with family and friends. I don't remember a time i felt bored.
Luv the running water and bonfires!!!!!! Trees fresh air and outdoors beauty....
Camping is the sanctuary I need.

Great outdoor activities and fishing for the kids and grown-ups alike!
Great little slice of nature. Just sucks that it is government land and not free land and like it should be
Still the numbers faces that are Sandy After the flood. Not all areas are opened up again. #lzdrv
My favorite place to camp and fish! I love the Caboose!
Everything you want from a campground, except - no sewer hookup and only one dump station.
I enjoyed swimming with friends and family. Everyone had a lot of fun.
Great experience!! Recommend to everyone!!
It was very nice, hard to get to the river though
Great place to fish! Rainbow trout bass and catfish!!!
