The first day Lost Rail opened it became the number one golf club in the Omaha Metro area. LR is purely golf; no pool, no tennis and a clubhouse that is beautifully done and ideal for the golfer that appreciates comfortable relaxation after their round. The golf course is sensational. Every hole is different and memorable. The par three 5th hole is absolutely stunning and reminds me of Bandon Trails...it may well be the most beautiful hole in Omaha. In fact, all the par threes at LR are excellent with the 200+ yard number 8 being the most demanding with a large green that runs down grain away from the golfer. The par four 4th and 12th holes are long, wide open gems that remind you of playing in the Sand Hills. The 7th, 9th and 10th holes are precision par fours that demand accuracy off the tee and on the approach shot...all stunning holes through the trees. The 16th, 17th and 18th holes are positioned on the other side of the clubhouse and overlooking the river. The 17th is a demanding par 4, while 16 and 18 offer good birdie opportunities, which will make the finish of some tournaments very interesting. Lost Rail is the perfect blend of demanding and downright fun to play golf holes. I was also impressed with how well the greens rolled and how well they held approach shots. This is not normally the case with new greens. Bunkering is very well done and the sand is some of the best you'll ever play. The practice facilities are adequate and well suited to the number of members. The management team is very experienced and headed up by General Manager Tim Halpine who was at The Players Club at Deer Creek for many years. IMHO, Lost Rail is now the best overall golf experience in the Omaha Metro Area. Within Eastern Nebraska it is only rivaled by Arborlinks in Nebraska City. My highest endorsement.

Absolutely stunning golf course! Beautiful views, The course itself is one of a kind and very pretty. The clubhouse is incredibly nice. Very elegant and classy!
