Reviews of USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
Joe Cajigal
Our favorite time of the year. Us open. I love the fan week we're we can enjoy watching the pros practice for free. My kids this year loved the next gen sections with games and giveaways. Holiday inn food court giveaway for the kids. As always the employee at the us open are very friendly manly to entertain the kids. Face paint, air tattoo, lots of stuff to do. My only and always concerned are the food courts as they over priced. Even with the kids 10dollars from Hilton I still needed to pay 30 dollars. Without it I would be spending 60 for a 3piece chicken fingers and fries that was horrible and just rushed food. I never liked the food court but you have no choice unless you spend more money for the restaurant. Overall it's always a great time experience for the kids just be prepared to spend money only on food and drinks. Shout out to Next generation, and holiday inn and the US Open staff making my kids love tennis and enjoy the attractions.

I came here for the first time for one week during the US Open 2022. This USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center is a mega complex exceeding all expectations. The fact that these are public courts makes it even sweeter. If I lived in NY I'd make it a point to come here and play often. My favorite is Armstrong for it's intimate feel and no bad seat anywhere you sit. Amazing stadiums/courts throughout the complex. I'm looking forward to coming back next year after an amazing first time experience. 🎾🏆

This place is AMAZING! I had the opportunity to come here for the 2022 US Open and it was incredible. The facilities are SO beautiful, everything is so clean and well-kept. All of the staff were so nice and accommodating. I would 100% come back for future events, great experience!

Not a lot of people would know and must know is you get to take a tour of the magnificent Arthur Ashe stadium that conducts the historical US Open, outside the US open season.
We did just that and had a 1.5 hours tour with our lovely guide - James. The overall booking process was very pleasant and thorough, thanks to Martin and James. We arrived 15 minutes earlier as advised and parked at parking lot B that's closer to the Chase center from where the touring party began.
The reception area gives you the "Tennis-ey" vibes you need right away, as you wait in the lobby section. You see photographs of all the legends with information on the years they won their US title.
The tour started with Louis Armstrong stadium, proceeding towards Arthur Ashe, the other grand stadiums and the practice courts.
Enter the Arthur Ashe aka The Center Court and any Tennis fanatic will right away get the feeler of being right at the center of the "Mecca of Tennis", where so many greats have sweated out everything to win the coveted US open title.
The tour is not rushed and ends with getting a complimentary bag from USTA. There's also an adjoining sports shop you can look around and buy stuff.

Played singles here on Court 11 outdoors on a sunny Sunday afternoon in December 2021. We played for a little over 2 hours. It's a bit expensive but they're great courts, and the facilities are very nice too. Very spacious, and it's amazing to the see the venue of the US Open so empty, and experience it all for yourself - play tennis right on the courts where all the pros play. Bring your own drinks and snacks, as the ones in the vending machines are a little overpiced.

Had a great time at the 2022 US Open!
We bought the Arthur Ashe tickets for around 1 which was well worth it as a beginner’s pass into the world of tennis. All the stadiums are beautiful but Arthur Ashe was insane with how loud then quite tens of thousands of people can become.
Outside the big stadiums, the smaller courts are very cool. Can watch up close getting the full intensity of a professional match. Highly recommend spending time here.
John Abrahamson
My first professional tennis event was the US Open in September 2022. Great time! Neat complex. Parking is a pain, but we used Uber, and worked out pretty well.
Simon Smart
This mega complex exceeded all expectations. Visited for the 2022 US Open, and this entire experience blew ours minds. The ease at which fans can go from court to court during the days' matches is unparalleled in the world of tennis. All the stadiums and courts were in pristine conditions. There is plenty for people to do when not enjoying the tennis, such as shops, restaurants, food stands and fan experiences. Definitely should be a bucket list trip for all sports fans.
Colleen Martin
Food is expensive, but you can bring in water in plastic bottles and your own food. We were able to see 4 matches on Grandstand for one price. We parked far away but shuttles carried spectators to and from the center. We had an expensive but great day.
Zoe Scourtes
First time watching the US Open during Fan Week, which was a delight. I really loved how great the facilities were and they were good quality and quite clean. Lots to do and spend a day out there.
Princess Danielle
Very big and clean place for tennis. This place has indoor and outdoor courts. If you play outdoors at night they have big bright lights so it’s not dark at all. The indoor bathrooms are very clean and in the women’s bathroom they even provided free girly things. I would highly recommend going here for any tennis related reason. (Tip: If you want to take tennis pictures, I suggest doing it outside at night.)
Lisa Smith
The experience and location was phenomenal! I went to the Arthur Ashe Stadium but did visit some of the other courts as well and watch some matches. The grounds was nice, lots of fun and shopping/activities and yes, food and drinks. Loved it!
Amaan Bharmal
We went to the 2022 Mens Finals. Overall amazing experience. We were disappointed with the low number of ushers in the upper sections- you would think that the biggest tennis event of the year would have sufficient ushers for all seating sections. We brought our own drinks/snacks in but bought one meal which was fairly expensive. We were also disappointed with the gift shop- we went right when gates open to find out that most clothing items only had certain sizes left (like XL and XXL). This is disappointing they did not save the whole variety of sizes for the finals day since those tickets are the most expensive.
Mukta Singh
Got some adrenaline rush by experience. The entire campus is beautiful and with world class amenities. I was there for USOPEN fanweek..got some close encounters with some of the world class players.
Ann Bajart
Celebrating Serena Williams’ last stand as a pro. Not a dry eye in the house. Not a bad seat in the sold out stadium.
Note the crescent moon rising over the corner of the stadium. A thrilling night.
Adam Corrigan
Amazing stadium to watch the UP Open. The grounds are beautiful and there's lots to eat and drink.
Natallia A.
The coolest event of the year for me. Great everything except the parking directions and signs, need more work here. I love healthier food alternatives too lately. I am a regular there every year. A must go to event if you are in NYC Aug-Sept.
Maria Camila R.
Easy to get in and out and to move around sections. There are escalators and elevators, so it's nice not to have to take the stairs.
I had a section 326 - i was concerned it would be too high, but it was alright!
David K
We splurged this year and bought Womens doubles/Mens singles championship day tickets. Past years we have done earlier rounds. To enjoy the day we planned on a full day with early arrival right through the awards ceremony. There is plenty to see and do, just be prepared to open your wallet. We signed up in advance with the Amex $20 back on $100 spend offer which at least helped. The food offerings are plentiful, take your time and plan ahead. The only thing I feel is too much is the “official cocktail” this year a Grey Goose concoction for $22. Didn’t even come in a commemorative cup- too much!! As for other activities, the displays and interactive areas were great- we really liked the Cadillac Center and Amex interactive zone. The gift shops are very expensive such as $150++ pullovers (seems a lot) but the merch did look good quality. The staff throughout the entire center are great, never came in contact with anyone not helpful. Parking at Citi Field was $30 and pretty easy to manage.

First time to the Mecca of tennis! What a phenomenal experience, well done Tennis Center staff! Sad goodbye to Serena, hello and wow to Iga!

US Open Tennis at the Billy Jean King Tennis center. NYC Local insider tip... if you schedule permits... come to NYC early for FanWeek! Stroll the grounds and watch qualifying matches and seeded players practice 100% free. Also, don't forget to download the US Open app for player info/rankings, court assignments/practices, entertainment and food offerings.
Kimberly Giang
Pleasantly surprised by how nice this experience was. Came for the first time to watch the US Open. Arrived at around 11:45 and was worried about how busy it was going to be. Parking was seemless and the line to check vaccination cards and security only took about 5min. Loved the variety of places to eat. Also enjoyed that we were always able to find a shaded spot in each of the stadiums. Can't wait to come back!
Paul Monson
My tennis team and I just got done with three days of watching the US Open at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. It was amazing!!
If you’ve never been to the US Open before, it’s a must do for both tennis lovers and those who enjoy a night out.
The complex itself is well kept and professionally run. Food is VERY pricey but that’s to be expected. There isn’t hardly any parking, so be prepared to drive around for a bit searching the nearby neighborhoods for a curbside spot.
Anderson Harp
US Open is a must do for anyone’s bucket list. If you’re not a tennis fan you’ll still enjoy an atmosphere and grounds that are truly thrilling without the madness of a Giants or Mets game. Also, the courts are public and you can reserve a time to play on the same courts as the legends we all know and love.
Aaron Lieber
Great grounds, always a blast going to the US open. We have coming here as a family since 2005. Not a place to go if you are trying to save money, very expensive but worth the experience
Matías Gagliardone
Amazing venue for the Tennis US Open. Lots of shops, restaurants and plenty of courts to enjoy the tournament and walk around.
The Arthur Ashe stadium is massive but you get a good look from almost anywhere.
rishi bnsl
The best sports venue in the New York metro, this tennis complex hosts the US open grand slam tennis tournament.
The two main stadiums are Arthur Ashe which is the flagship and the Louis Armstrong which is slightly smaller. Both have gotten covered roofs in recent years.
Travel to the us open requires planning, and often the best bet is to take the train there. Parking lots close to the main stadium are booked up early, but there is additional parking at a train station nearby as well at mets stadium (Citi field). If you drive pkan fir a lot of delays.
The tennis tournament itself is great and the pop up restaurants are amazing. There are also sit down restaurants at the club level including Aces and Champions, which require reservations.
Kristen Wisneski
First time here! Lots of extra attractions surrounding. Beautiful day for some tennis!
Tom Cal
This is essentially a tennis city and it's SPECTACULAR! From the quality amenities to the many courts and beautiful stadiums...you can spend a lot of time (and money!) at this place and still want to come back for more. Phenomenal planning and execution, and sets the bar high for any similar projects in the future.
Take the train in - much easier than dealing with the parking and traffic that comes with NYC.
Meriem Ben
Amazing experience , many stores , the stadium is wonderful . Must try at least once in life
Anthony Bianco
Wonderful Experience! Great people and lovely environment
Anushka Joshi
Such a great experience at the US open! Would love to go again next year. The grounds are layed out well and all the courts have good views and appropriate bleachers. The food options are wide but pricey but the atmosphere overall is great
Christina Tross
Attended this venture for the US OPEN 2022 … decent parking in terms of walking to the stadiums BUT what could you expect on the same night as a baseball game
Robert F
This is where the US Open tennis match takes place. It's in Flushing Meadows Park. The negatives are that it's hard to find parking, it's hard to get to, it's often very hot during the summer and it's very expensive.
The positives are that it's one of the most important tennis tournaments of the year, it's very well run and it's a lot of fun, even if you are not into tennis
Cole Ash
Beautifully maintained campus! Very walkable, easy to navigate.
Praxedes Luna
Had a wonderful experience watching the men's and women's double championship match played at Arthur Ashe stadium.
Oleg “mr. Freeman”
If you love tennis, U must visit this place and feel the Atmosphere. The Best tennis tournament in the world.
Joshua Davis's
I received a quote online within a short time, and it was spot-on. They were punctual and were able to move my appointment up two hours. Their prices were very reasonable, and the locksmith, my tech was very helpful and thorough. So if you are looking for dependable service, look no further.
Loilta Prince
Kim is amazing and the service was unparalleled. The pricing was far better then going to the dealership. Believe the hype of the other reviews. They were punctual, friendly, fair, and I can't say enough good stuff.I definitely highly recommended Orlando Mobile Locksmith.
Jordan Marda
I love using this service because it is so affordable. I can always count on Ocean's Garage Door Repair Co. to get the job done properly and they are also quick to respond. I definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs a company to come out and fix their garage doors.
Annita Eleanor
A nice place with mediocre staff during the US Open season, most likely as about half of the staff were hired just for the event & aren't properly prepared for dealing with the stress. Once a staff member at Arthur Ashe Kids Day tried to take my phone away from me as I was taking these photos to get my attention to leave. Nonetheless, the stadium is nice & the whole tennis area makes for a good walk, & the aforementioned event is generally great for small children, although it used to be better & attract even families with teens with certain activities/events.
Deborah Long
I had a wonderful experience at the US Open 2018. Nice facilities, clean restrooms that were mostly stocked. Sometimes the line for the water fountain was longer than the line for the bathroom. They need more water bottle fillers, which are much quicker than than traditional fountains. Staff members were friendly, welcoming and quick to offer assistance. Food options were sufficient though pricey. I thought the event was run very well.
FC Yang
Best place to enjoy US open!!!
A Leferink
The best tennis center in the world. Big screens to see tennis outside the stadiums. shopping, and plenty of drink options. Oyster bar is nice. Only minus is that the Food in Arthur Ashe is all the same unhealthy fried, poor quality heavily overpriced stuff. The caterer should do better and diversify offering and improve quality.
Jason Kwan
Great tennis venue located in Queens. About 40 minutes from Manhattan by train. A very large venue but doesn't feel that way because of the sheer number of attendees. The tennis grounds are also very clean and the staff members are very helpful. US Open prices are expensive but it was still a lot of fun. You can buy US Open branded goods at a few different locations inside. Inside there is also the Chase lounge as they are a sponsor, a Ralph Lauren store and Adidas store. The food inside is average but there are a lot of different options. Overall a really fun experience for tennis fans, just expect sporting venue pricing.
Tips:
Bring a refillable water bottle. Lines at water fountains are long and water pressure can be very low at some.
Sunscreen bring a small amount. Do not bring the aerosol cans, use the lotion because they don't allow the cans. They had sunscreen at the entrance but many cans were empty.
Bring a hat.
Natalia De Ugarte Muñoz
The US Open Experience is unique. It is all about tennis and having a great time. It is perfect to go with family and friends. The Arthur Ashe Stadium is the main stadium because that is where the top-ranked players play. However, most of the matches are played around the other stadiums and outdoor courts so even if you do not go to the main stadium you will have a ton of great matches.
Jim Ryan
The US Open which is held at the USTA. Billie Jean King national tennis center has a family prior to the week where the matches really get hot and heavy. The fan week is for the most part free and we were there for fan week. As long as the weather is not oppressively all August, September hot. It's a wonderful time to be there. There's much to see. Much to do. You get to see some of the top players practice and there are some matches that you can go to that are preliminary qualifying matches and there's some stuff that you may have to pay for but for the most part fan week is free. Highly recommended.
Scott F Wilson
US Open, best ever! Get tickets and go. Even $25 Arthur Ashe tickets get you onto the grounds to see amazing tennis.
subroto dey
Lovely US open round 16 experience. Very well organized and the crowd was electric.
Kunal Puranik
Had an amazing time at US open round 1 and 2 here. Got see some very exciting games. Loved to be back in the crowd and enjoy the game
Eugene C
We had a great time at the US Open watching tennis, eating, lounge hopping. It's a great venue with lots of options. I loved that the USTA reserves general admission seats everywhere except Ashe. We watched a lot of good tennis up close.
Kelly M. Mueller
Luxury suite 213, center court, it was amazing! Such a treat for friends, co-workers or clients. I will keep this in mind for future events with my company!
Vivian S
Terrific place! Coming here to watch live tennis is just a pleasure. Everything is so nice, clean, organized and welcoming that it makes you want to stay.
Lights Go
The ride on the subway didnt feel that long and it was really easy to navigate and enter the stadium. Had a good time attending a graduation, surprisingly intimate and well organized.
Alex Reynolds
What an Excellent top class facility. So cool. Went for the US open and really enjoyed it. Never had been before and didn't realize how cool it was! You can spend all day there walking around the venue! Really neat. The courts are amazing too. Only issue was it's really hot out
Gina DB
If you are a tennis buff/fan, then this is the place for you! My first time there. The US Open is ecstatic, fun, exciting, and all other fun adjectives. Its an experience of a lifetime. Will definitely return next year!
Arjun Mullick
Great experience. If you love tennis , it’s a must visit. It is well connected by rail and major highways and has everything on the grounds. Parking is a pain, we need to park in Citi stadium (a 10 min walk). Also ride share pickup spots available near stadium entrance. Recommended to buy Tickets for Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Ryan Knudsen
I absolutely loved this place and attending the U.S. Open here. I love sports and have been to many sports events. I'm a big fan of many many athletics events. But by far, the u.s. open at BJK and flushing meadows was the absolutely best experience I've had. Great place and great atmosphere. I would attend every year if I could. I dont know how I feel about the roof on Arthur Ashe now, but I will reserve total judgement until I can visit again.
Lee Leonard
What a fantastic time. Went to the US Tennis Open. Everything around was open. Stores, restaurants, bars. Everyone having fun. And got a chance to see a men's tournament between the USA and Canada.
Noah Langford
Great complex love how the Qualifying matches are free so you don’t have to pay so much for tickets to the US Open itself. Good way to bring more people in and draw a fanbase for the sport since tennis seems to take a backseat to baseball, football, basketball and hockey in America. Only annoying thing is if you a backpack you have to check it and put in a locker for 5 dollars and you can’t bring in a water bottle that’s metal. The food at the concessions is ridiculously expensive as is the case at all sporting events and venues these days. I loved the Arthur Ashe commemorative gardens area but I just found an article online back in 2000 in the Times when it opened that says that the statue did not look like him at all, did not have a clear connection to tennis and the statue was naked. That’s really sad. I think they should remove the statue and out an actual statue of him and one that has a real connection to tennis. The statue more resembles some Greek discus thrower or a Greek god. Overall I think the facility is great. Just wish security wasn’t to restrictive with what you can and can’t bring in and that the food and the merchandise and apparel didn’t cost so much. Plus you hear planes taking off from LaGuardia Airport and that is really noisy
Nikola Stanchev
Well-designed sports place. Tennis 🎾 courts. All kinds of amenities are placed there. …
Roshan Rajkumar
The best tennis venue in the world hosted one of the biggest and best sporting events in the world - 2018 U.S. Open. From the friendly greeting at the south gate to the walkway of champions, to seeing Arthur Ashe rise to meet you. The fountain area is a logical gathering spot. And there are plenty of place to eat and drink. Then watching the tennis on the ground or on Ashe or Armstrong is why you come. It is not cheap to attend and food and drink is spendy, but the tennis cannot be beat!
Jhonnattan Fernandez
Great place for your kids or yourself to learn tennis. Courts are being updated and new remodeling all around the tennis center, is looking great. When the US Open is being help here is a great place to walk around and see tennis stars from around the world.
Greg Eluk
The home of the US Open since 1968! And every year the USTA adds something new & exciting year in & year out for the fans, player's, and employees! My family and I have a tradition that we go every year for Arthur Ashe Kid's Day & Opening Night session for 5 consecutive years & counting
Nikhil Shah
Love being here. So we’ll organized and so accessible from Manhattan. We came here for the 2021 men’s singles finals. What a great atmosphere.
Pro-tip: at the end of the event, try to go all the way to the top and you can see great views of Manhattan skyline!!
M H
Best tennis event I have ever been. And I played professional tennis.
Worth the effort to get there and see everything it has to offer. I would go again in a heartbeat.
I give this experience a 100 outa 10!!!
Chris
Great stadium, was easy to find seats and very clean. Parking on the other hand was a nightmare
B B S
The US Open is one of the most exciting sports experiences you can attend in New York City. The entire event is loud and busy, has delicious foods from various vendors, and more tennis matches than you could possibly watch in a fortnight. Being part of the (cheering/booing) crowd at a match in Arthur Ashe Stadium is an automatic bucket list item for those of you who haven’t gone.
Plan ahead for this event. Good tickets are very hard to get, good prices are almost impossible to get unless you buy your seats right after a top seed loses in the second week. For instance, when Federer lost Sept 2018, ticket prices for the semifinals seats dropped 60%. Unheard of but a great chance to take advantage.
Food and drinks are extremely expensive everywhere at Flushing. Crazy expensive. Bring your backpack, pack some sandwiches, cold storage drink containers, etc. you’ll have just as much fun and they’ll let you in as long as they can search and clear the bags you’re fine getting your backpack through the gate.
I’ve been coming to the Open since it was just Flushing Meadows with wooden stands. I am amazed every year at new improvements to the park. It is also kept very clean, unlike the rest of NYC.
NYCBuddha
This is an annual event that should not be missed. Its an experience. Folks come from all over the world to see tennis and experience the fun atmosphere on the grounds. From interactive booths from sponsors to great food selection. The ability to move from court to court and be few feet from the players is really something.
Food
There are 60 vendors and restaurants throughout the grounds.
The food is expensive at many of the vendors and prices have gone up. For example the most popular drink the Honey Deuce is now $22. A bowl of bulgogi beef and a beer at Korilla will set you back $35. There are many options for less than $20 . The food lines can get long however they do move fast in general.
Many do bring their own food and refillable water bottles. There are water stations throughout.
There are food stalls inside Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong.
There is a free massage area by IHG hotels and resorts booth near courts 13 and 14
Phone Charging
CHASE provides free portable phone chargers. Just drop it off when done.
We went yesterday on Day 1 of the U.S. Open ..it was more crowded than last year. Could also have been due to Serena Williams playing. They did open the gates earlier than in recent years.. The gates opened at 9:30 am.
There were folks protesting outside about Novak djokovic not being allowed to play
Transportation:
Parking in CITI Field is $30. Take the train it is much cheaper and avoid the traffic. There is a public lot under the train station as well..
The CITI Field lot may not be accessible if the Mets are playing. So do check on that. Or you.may be able to park but will.be competing with baseball fans. There is paid parking under Northern Boulevard but it is bit of a walk.
If you park inside Citi field, It's easy to walk across from there to the Stadium grounds.
Upkar Kaur Chana
The experience at the US Open is amazing. However, delicious food options are very limited. The only place worth going to is Lure the raw bar. Their salads were mouth watering! Skip the names you know like Melt, Pat La Freida or Curry Kitchen. All are over priced with tiny portions.
D Manning
I came here for the first time during the US Open for fan week. Me and my family enjoyed seeing the practices, from tennis legends. Also the security was amazing. I felt safe.
Eric Locklear
Complex was gorgeous clean and really easy to navigate. The stadiums were very nice, updated and seating g was not too cramped. If you get a grounds pass there is sooooooo much to see on the first week from the practice courts to the smaller courts. Great selection of food and food was reasonably priced. Nice shopping as well and you must visit the fan experience which was great!!! Great representation of us tennis!!!
Philip Cosentino
US Open Tennis in New York is always amazing and seems added alot of new activities for kids and adults. Third year in a row going cant wait for 2020.
Danut Dan
What a great place to play tennis. The best courts in NY and they are open to public. Perfect light even at night!
Honey Ribar
Incredible experience at the US Open! The food was grab-n-go for restaurant price, but I expected this for an event at this large of a scale. Very crowded without places to sit and eat unless you dine in a restaurant. The grounds were clean and staff was friendly! Overall great experience.
Ana
I had a wonderful experience at the US Open 2019. Such a great place in Queens.
Irma Zandl
Get the day pass and get up close and personal with everyone from Serena to Kobe Bryant. A day pass doesn’t get you into Arthur Ashe Stadium but makes for a fabulous day of tennis, fan experiences and celeb sightings.
William McKinnon
I was there to see Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic. The crowd very enthusiastic; the staff was very friendly and pleasant; the food court had a variety of choices. SW and ND both won. 24 Serena.
John Chung
Very excited & lots of kids came out for their fun & games. Me my wife watched Tennis Pro practicing. Enjoyed the foods too.
Douglas Barbosa
One of the best (if not the best) places to rent a tennis court in NYC. Plenty of tennis courts to choose from, fair price and great maintenance conditions. Just be aware of minor tournaments throughout the year and of course the US Open period before scheduling a court. Easy to park. The only downside is the lack of food for purchasing (I only saw vending machines).
Michael Tardif
A shrine to tennis. The best part is watching matches on the side courts or visiting the practice area. Watching top talent from just a few yards away you really get a sense of how great they are. Lots of good food as well but rough in the wallet.
LittleRockstar Akira
What an amazing experience . Great stadium with so many good food options, retail stores and unlimited fun for kids. Must experience tennis matches and learn . Lovely chase terrace and kids zone.
Stephanie Londono
Watched Serena play and it was a great experience. The stadium was clean and a comfortable temperature. The official drink of the open was just over priced water though.
Ty
First time going to see a tennis match and I got lucky to see Serena Williams play! Was a good first experience. Food and drink are expensive but that’s expected at a place like this.
M Mandal
Home to the US Open Tennis Tournament, this is a huge tennis facility in Flushing Meadows, Queens, NYC. They have many many courts, but their showpiece stadium is the Arthur Ashe Stadium. With a seating capacity of over 23,000, this place is absolutely electric with energy during the tournament! It's an incredible experience to be part of the crowd during the night sessions in this stadium.
Justin Burgess
Staff was super friendly explaining the tennis center and how it works, how you rent courts, what’s available to lessons for children etc. Can’t say enough about how they were helpful.
dan sui
Was there for the arthur ashe kids day. Families, friends, and fans were all there to support the event. Just loved it. The experience was awesome.
Silvana Mero
Such a great place in Queens. Amazing venue for the Tennis US Open 2021 🎾🙌🏼 …
Joshua Henry
So cool, beautiful facility everywhere the entire grounds. I hope to come back. Arthur Ashe as cool and loud!!
Brandon Frew
Tennis center is great. If you love tennis this is the meca. Save some money food and drink is way overpriced however the tennis venue and staff makes up for poor pricing structures.
Jonluca Agnihotri
US Open is a fantastic experience. Make sure to take the subway because driving is absolute and total hell. Waste of time to drive. Bring your Amex or Chase cc card for additional benefits.
K C
What can I say other than I love to come back to this place during us open. Love the stadium and the event. Wish this was daily reachable and had smooth ride hailing option after night games. It took almost an hour to get Uber / Lyft from here after a night match , and it's a long walk to the place where you go to catch the ride.
Mauricio Ibasco
Will go there again, next year
Charles Cody
I had never been here before. I had an enjoyable day. They refused to take my cash money which made me mad. Getting in was a pain but I'd definitely visit again.
Erin Finnegan
Great venue! A must visit if you can be lucky to score tix to the US OPEN! Grounds are spotless, well organized. If you go during the day, it can get hot. A nighttime visit is more ideal. Seeing Serena Williams win the U.S. open was truly priceless!
E M 88
For any tennis fans, sports fans and celebrity watching fans, this is the place to go during the US Open tennis tournament. Food is expensive but plenty of good choices. The first week is great time to see the pros play tennis up close. Second week is when the best players of the world play in large stadiums. Lots of fun activities aside from tennis for the whole family. Don't forget to download the USTA app so you can take selfies in the stadium.
Andrew Botticelli
Amazing experience at US Open
Kelli Velez
Felt less crowded this year and I've been going to The Open for the last 17 yrs. All of the modifications and construction have made more seating and eating areas available. It made it feel so much less congested except for the change over from day to night.
Tim Couch
It's a great experience be able to see and hear all the wonderful sights and sounds. The facilities and grounds are clean, well kept and safe.
Levente Klein
Great sport venue for tennis. Fantastic experience to hang out on the grounds or catch a game. IBM was calculating the statistics for all players and they had an experience room.
DARNELL WALKER
Great tennis games. Kid friendly. Pet friendly. Wheelchair accessible location.
DiRee McGuire
Got to see both Nadal and Serena play. Absolutely loved the experience. The updates to the grounds was nice. There was a lot to do.
Thomas King
Amazing experience! Too know that pros played on these courts. Awesome!
Everton T
I love coming here and I love the atmosphere. I am a big tennis fan and Serena William's fan. I come to see the stars play, not umpires getting overly involved in matches.
saroj lenka
Who is looking for review, no doubt the best experience in terms of open championship watch. Easy transport, all fav foods, drinks and nice tennis. So what else u need.
Rahul Sharma
Awesome first time visit to USOpen on Arthur Ash day with the kids.
Nicely managed, even though it was a HUGE gathering. Staff was very helpful.
Food was pricey, so recommend getting stuff with you, if you can.
Overall, an amazing experience for the family to see the Tennis icons practicing in front of you!
Brian Kim
What a great treat to have a place like this available to New Yorkers! Thank you, staffs at USTA for making this incredible place accessible to us tennis aficionados!
Robert Kraus
Attending the US OPEN at the BJK Tennis Center should be on everyone's bucket list. Great time!
Denny Lee
Spend multiple days at the US Open tournament. Great facility but make sure you get there early to deal with the crowd.
Eric Finkelstein
Love the US Open, particularly the super-close up access of the side courts.
Potluri Kumar
Enjoyed the match very much. Well maintained placed. Rain ruined some matches. We were able to watch good game in indoor stadium.
Sukhjit Singh
The US open experience was not so good as the parking situation was terrible. The Met's had a game today so there parking lot was off limits so the parking took two and a half hours once we were into the stadium area.
heidi alterman
The US Open is one of my favorite sporting events. Plenty of tennis happening on multiple courts at once. Never boring! Very expensive but very worth it!
Hank Chang
Big tennis center with open courts and a large pavilion. Two big stadiums covered when rain, and a lot of food court and sales centers for the sponsors.
Annie B
Although I was sitting all the way up in the stands, it was a great experience and I can definitely check this one off my bucket list(watching Serena play, i.e.). If you are a huge tennis fan, you need to go see a match: ambience and atmosphere make it all worth it, before you die😁 Park close by and take the train is the easiest commute and eat before you go because food is expensive.
Margie Faure
It is important that you inform in advance the entrance areas for people over 60 years. You have to walk too much. They should look for shorter access ways. Thank you
Tanya Sez
Loved it! Once in a life time experience if you are a tennis fan. 🎾 Just try it …
Hilton Webb
As usual the tennis was great, the staff were professional and even the food was decent. My only complaint was the heat but that's not the fault of the USTA.
Caio Sabo
Thanks USTA by the amazing experience. This place is a temple of sport and an example to be followed. I am from Brazil and I am really excited in my first Grand Slam. I recommend all people to experience it.
joseph tmobile
Excellent venue for such a great event like the fornite world cup...whole event was top notch only complaint was the food order some nuggets and they where still raw...
Govindaram Venugopal
It was one among my bucket list
So it is a dream come true for me that too on the occassion of a person of Indian origin having the same last name winning the doubles championship partnering with a holland fellow
Really a treat to watch
Duncan Schieb
It was pouring rain but we were dry, dry, dry. Having been to a number of Rainer our days in the past the roof is a great addition. It’s a great day out and everyone should get out to the tennis at least once.
Lisa Cratty
One of my favorite sports venues...delicious food, so many courts with great tennis, great vibe.
Idso Brouwer
Great place to be. Perfect organization.
Lisa mambuca
This tennis venue never disappoints. Very well organized even with Covid vaccination screening. Wonderful event every year
Bill Jacobs
The humidity is back, so use a team member to score and hold a table in the shade while other members buy food.
For the price of surrendering your phone number, Chase Bank will loan you a charger! (Even your Google phone number will work!)
Gilad Weijel
An amazing park, many restaurents many shops
aniton jess
Behind the scenes tour Only for tennis fans.
This tour takes you thru the grounds, change rooms, media room and into the main courts by a USTA representative with narrative along the way.
Ive completed similar tours of Roland Garros and Wimbledon but this tour was the only one that allowed walking directly onto the centre court for lifelong bragging right photos!
Its around a 45min train ride from NYC.
Non tennis fans tagging along will be bored
Nubia Marquez
Excellent tennis facilities, many courts, services. everything very clean and modern.
Jeannette Aycock
I attended the annual free qualifying rounds at the Billy Jean King Tennis Center. There's a lot of construction going on to build the new Louis Armstrong Stadium, scheduled to open 2018. Despite the work being done, the staff goes out of their way to welcome visitors and provide directions.
There are posted do's and don'ts for visitors as well as a bag check-in for items that are not accepted (fee). The security procedure is reassuring.
Once inside the center there's an extensive food court and other food vendors for a variety of tastes. Bring lots of money. An average meal of burger, fries and soda can cost $22.
There are many small tennis courts with bleacher seating so that you can really be close to the action.
There's also many retailers when you need a break from tennis. There are areas to sit in lounge settings as well as shaded grassy areas to picnic with friends - new additions this year
Even if you're in the cheap seats in Arthur Ashe Stadium, which seats more than 23k, for an evening match you can't beat the view of Manhattan at sunset!
Don't miss the US Open, August 27-September 10!
Ivan Djordjevic
Beautiful. Great atmosphere, great variety of food outlets...
michael kilderry
The place was clean. The staff was way more organized and prepared this year as opposed to the event that i attended there last year
Pramod C
Awesome. Love the new grand stand the roof on Arthur Ashe Stadium. Now we can avoid hot sun and enjoy tennis in the shade.
Jason Nadler
Tennis! Worth going during the US Open at the end of August/beginning of September.
David Berkowitz
This is one of the all-time greatest sports venues to see some of the all-time greatest athletes.
Ramon Espiritu
Great venue with lots of amenities and facilities for tennis fans.
roberta hunter
great place for tennis but disappointing place for food. most looks bland and beige or just inedible. bring your own food
D B
The Ashe Stadium was just your average stadium. There is not enough restroom capacity (ladies' rooms) on the Promenade Level especially with a number of stalls out of order. Also, it's very slow moving when they empty the stadium between the day and evening sessions of the US OPEN.
Alex Thurman
Quality spot to watch tennis but only 3 stars because getting there is an ordeal and the food is TERRIBLE, honestly not fit for humans.
Mona Reich
Beautiful grounds but tickets, food, clothing all very pricey. Go for free the week before the US Open begins to watch the qualifying matches as well as watch the seeded players practicing up close.
Nathan Brubaker
Great place to watch the US open and see the stars up close.
Damian Charles
Even seats up in the Upper/Lower promenade have great views. Not a bad seat in this place, but try to snag an American Express headset to hear commentary/better sounds on court.
Phil Haddad
I have been here several times to watch the U S. OPEN WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. One of the best places to watch the professional tennis player. My only complaint is concessions are over priced, but I would go back to watch matches
Carl Berg
impressive place...i can see why its an amazing venue for tennis!!!
Carlos Nanez
Beautiful place. Unfortunately Chase ATM not working and security person very rude
kim velez
Great experience, even in the rain.
Shafqat Huq
Love coming here for the U.S. Open every year, perfect venue for tennis!
Robert Fuhrer
We had a great time at the US Open!
janine n
Enjoyed a match on grounds of Billie Jean King Tennis Stadium, if you are considering I highly recommend!
J V
Wonderful experience very much enjoyed watching Serena play
Branko Banic
What an experience!! Just seeing the mighty Arthur Ashe stadium and being on the grounds experiencing the live matches, practices and food & drinks was all memorable. Easy access from the city (take the 7 express from grand central, only 20 minutes ride), open spaces, all vendors inside were super friendly and the US Open staff very available. Cannot wait to come back again
Timothy Celona
Great grounds , matches and food love the US OPEN
Alain Savoie
Great tennis grounds. Perfect for any tennis fans.
Phil Baton
Beautiful space, June is their busy month so they weren't open for tours but really an awesome looking venue from the outside
Sandeep Kochar
If you are a tennis fan, it’s a dream to play here. During warm weather, you can rent some of the the US open match courts for 32/hr. A surreal and thrilling experience. I have started bringing my daughters to train here as well.
cocot1919
It’s just so exciting being around all the tennis players and the fans.
Giovanni Figueroa
Outstanding customer service. One of a kind place...
5mile Digital
Go to the Qualifiers of the US open. Its free, and you can see so many great tennis matches by wandering around. The famous players practice in the morning.
kim yvonne
Is a great place to visit, as long as you keep your companions close. Due to the fact that this is an extremely large venue, it is very easy to misplace your party.
Name sure your cellphones are charged, everyone has Google Maps and location enabled and don't blink. Lol.
Dane H
Great for tennis buffs! A variety of athletic sports shops for tennis gear like the pros. Summer tennis classes. Nice restaurants and great food court for variety. And get your complimentary event glass with a Grey Goose Melon ball cocktail to enjoy the tennis match.
Shady Yam
As a high school or college student getting a job here during the summer time is a blessing. Pays like almost no other job retail wise, and the workload is light plus the benefits.....
christopher Haslam
This place is so much more tan just tennis. It's a whole experience.
Cindy Cusumano
Great weather. Great tennis matches on Ashe. Good lunch at Aces.
Joe Rizzuto
Great place to watch tennis. Fabulous venue for an exciting event.
Gerard S
Great day and a great time we totally enjoyed it.
Raven *
Not intimidating which is what I expected. Comfortable seating. Electric atmosphere. Many locals which surprised me.
Aksinya Kostyrkina
Us open was wonderful. Expensive but great. Tons to see.
Annika Sandstrom
A must for any tennis fan! Great event, but the food is expensive and not very good. Good service! Remember to not bring a bag.
Michele Paxson
Arthur Ashe stadium roof on Wednesday was open all day, no air,too humid, closed roof about 5pm, what a difference. And on Tuesday they had the roof closed all day? Since putting roof on, no air circulation in stadium....not worth the money you spend on seats and have to sweat on a humid day! But roof closed all day Tuesday makes no sense?
Leslie Cooke
Great venue for the US Open always easy access even when at capacity.
Manuel Bordoy
Holy world of tennis!! This is basically a tennis city with expensive food expensive booze in an amazing spot.
Alann Torres
What an awesome experience a bucket list moment for my 11 year old in my 18 year whom had never been to a grand slam we are tennis fanatics we are a tenant's family and this is by for a great event and venue #USOPEN2018
Malini Agarwal
Have attended the US Open multiple times over the last few years and every time is an outstanding experience. Connected by train too. Great venue, awesome staff and facility and so much fun. Very nicely organized. Security lines are longer some years and takes a little longer to get in. Backpacks are checked. Have seen several matches at Arthur Ashe, always get to see good players. The court has a retractable roof which they put up in case of rain. There are lot of food choices outside. Gift shops, many photo stations. The whole experience is worth visiting.
Crystal Clemente
Love being back at the courts ! Everyone working the Open were very kind ,helpful and pleasant. Alot of new improvements like more places to sit ,traffic less congested on the grounds and easier to view matches on outer courts.
Larry Moore
2018 US Open. Great stadium and event to attend
Fredricka Rodgers-Sneed
The Open was wonderful. The stadiums were a nice size and the crowds were definitely in each match
YuJin Kim
I’ve been taking my kids here for lessons since they were four. The facility is amazing, it’s top notch, next level attention to details. The staff is professional and the coaches are attentive to every player.
Chantel Scott
It was a wonderful and great experience to watch all those tennis players in person.
Christie Ray Harrison
Beautiful venue, clean, organized, plenty of food options
Saad Eloraby
Nice facility, needs more cleaning during events, and admition staff needs training on how to efficiently relay the messages regarding entry times.
Dean Elliott
Really great complex. Take some time to look around.
Richard Giles
Our visit took place a couple of months prior to the US Open taking place so there was a great deal of building work taking place throughout. This however didn’t distract from the spectacle of the venue. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. We enjoyed playing in some of the outlying courts and got a real sense of theatre, imagining how tense it would be with a full crowd in attendance. Highly recommended.
Jeff Rea
Convenient and great facility for tennis. Reasonable court rates compared to other clubs in Manhattan. They have good adult programs as well.
Michelle D. Gonzalez
Awesome time, met new friends and the best match of tennis w/Serena Williams '18
The NYGalavant (TheNYG)
Tennis mecca for the last calendar grand slam tournament.
Diana Vasquez
The grounds are beautiful. Grand Stand was great! The Grand Stand area was much less crowded than the rest of the center. Stayed at the Grand Stand area for food. Everywhere else, far too crowded and difficult to walk from one area to another. The lines for food and or drinks were incredibly long which also made walking from on area to another difficult. No place to sit. The ushers at Grand Stand were very professional. The matches were great. I would give 5 stars for Grand Stand but 0 stars for the rest of the center because of the crowds, very, very long lines and no seating.
Garrett Ewald
Venture over to the grandstand to the FILA store featuring a range of performance and classic clothing and shoes.
Alan Jarvis
Arthur Ashe Park, qualifying rounds have hard working players...
Aria Evans
Prices aren't cheap - but you get a great venue and quality food options. Other fun items - the main plaza with the history and giant screen, the new Armstrong is amazing, chances to see up and coming young players up close, and great atmosphere at night.
Kathy Nolte
The US Open always has such a great vibe, and today was no exception. Fans are there to enjoy themselves- and tennis!!! Be ready for high food prices or stick a snack in your pocket
I'd left my ticket at home, but not a problem. Folks at the info booth had me inside the gate in minutes. If you are thinking about the heat, the crowds, the ticket prices, don't!!!! Just go and enjoy another great NYC experience!!
Peter Grunow
The US Open is always an exciting experience full of talented tennis players. We went early on so we saw a lot of side Court action. But great whenever you go. Took the train to Grand Central and the F train to the fairgrounds. Very relaxing way to travel. Interesting people everywhere.
Bettye Hunter
We didn't visit the inside of the tennis courts but I saw the courts from the third floor of Arthur Ashe Stadium and imaging Venus and Serena and Billie Jean playing there.
Natacha Guzman
Exciting place to be if you are a tenis fan!
Comikajr Kadu
Magnificent facility to watch world class tennis. The new roof has made a tremendous difference in not having to worry about getting wet when it rains. Wide array of food choices, not the usual, cheap stadium fare as well.
Suzanne Ruggles
My first visit to the US Open and it lived up to every it of the hype! The new Arthur Ashe Stadium is the largest tennis stadium in the world and is outstanding. The Louis Armstrong Stadium is more intimate, but equally impressive. Despite the large crowd, the grounds were easy to navigate, transportation to/from parking lots, hotels and subways was smooth.
Adam M
Amazing as always. Have to do each year or st least once. U.S. Open is always a blast. Typically someone has corporate tickets they can't use last minute and are offering them up or purchase blood nose seats. Clean, great games, wont regret it!
Jody Ancar
Must see if you enjoy tennis! The grounds are so large with so many tennis courts. I had no idea there was so much going on. You can watch the players practice and everything. The only negative was the price of the food, but that's how it is at any event. The best food is available in the food court with many vendors, but you can also get stadium food (pizza, hamburger, etc.) in the stadium. They have large televisions outside of Arthur Ashe stadium if you wanted to just relax outside and lay on the grass watching the matches.
Terrell Zimmerman
Amazing experience. Glad I finally went.
Simple Mods
Currently the site is under construction. They are demolishing grand stand and L.A. stadiums. Parking lot A space is limited. Project will be completed by 2018.
Brock Turner
So much to see and do...a must for your bucket list
Johan Chabrel
A must experience for any type of Tennis Fan. A Well-organized tournament in heart of queens. Suggest to go in early rounds and browse among the matches in many courts and to see some big names without having to pay for Arthur Ash access
Sharif Kesh
Watching Rafa play at Arthur Ashe is a marvelous treat. Food court takes care of the appetite.
Rina Bella
Absolutely beautiful fantastic place to take the kids to the park 🏞 …
Vijay Raman
With all the improvements in TV picture quality, it is still nicer to come in to watch the US Open. Especially if you bring in your tennis playing child. Excellent access by public transportation. Smaller stadiums give a close up sinewy perspective at the US Open. Spectators at smaller stadiums are also more chatty, if you like that. Not sure whether you have those at Wimbledon or Australian open. The highly partisan crowds surprised me, but this does add interest and emotion. Feel free to shout over other shouters if you are a spectator. Don't be an underdog if you are playing at the US Open. If you are looking for signs of decline (of the country?) then there are some. No screens for following action when you are in the food court area. Very few drinking water fountains and only at the end of long lines near the bathrooms. Too few covered areas for hot days. As much interest in food refills and big yellow merchandise as the tennis.
Mauricio Vidal da Silva
The place beautiful and ideal local for visit.
Michael Walker
All brand New Facility has improved over the years. The New Louis Armstrong Stadium is a jewl.
Theotis Callender
Everyone is pleasant and it is a nice place to walk around between matches. There is a good food court, but prices are high.
One area that needs improvement is handicap accommodation. There is only one elevator available for use by the wheelchairs, cane users, and the stroller brigade.
Peter Buffa
Fantastic facility. Plenty to see, do, eat and drink
Giuseppe Galletti
The US Open is one of the coolest sport events in the city and the tennis center significantly contributes to the experience! The place is huge and you can literally watch top players from few feet away (at the post-match interview right outside the Arthur Ashe, or on the side courts). Very impressive the view of the fountain and the globe of Flushing Corona park from the top floor of the stadium! Only con, the food choice is ok but quite overpriced for what you get...
Myriam Boicoulin
Huge!
robert miot
if you going by car traffic is terrible and parking is far away
Cassandra O. James
I agree it is a shrine to the sport. I love the grounds and the atmosphere. I do have to say that i found the food selection to be absolutely Horrible!! The portions are small, rather expensive and utterly bland. I ate at the food court, the Korean BBQ place. I couldn't finish my meal as it taste like paper. Later we ate at the Italian restaurant and once again it taste like paper so it's a great place to fast for a day
Cory Brady
Just amazing. Everyone should go at least once!
Jerry Hadley
A place in NYC that doesn't look or smell like NYC. Great people, great foods and drinks. Oh and the tennis, you can see the top players practice and if you can't afford to go into their expensive stadiums, you can sit outside and watch the matches on a huge tv screen. I recommend everyone visit this place during the US Open. Check for days that are free to enter.
Will Koehrsen
An awesome tennis complex for watching or playing. This is the site of the US Open which I highly recommend attending (qualifying the week before the main tournament is completely free to attend). The subway (7-line) takes you right to the tennis center where there are plenty of courts with close seating. A truly world-class tennis facility in Queens and definitely worth visiting for any tennis enthusiasts.
Duy Tran
Only come here for the us open, so I can't speak on the facility other than for that event.
The recent improvements have been amazing. These changes have had a huge impact on my enjoyment level during the us open. There's more space to walk around the grounds. More places to get food. And more restroom facilities.
The problem I have is with some of the food service employees. Every year I go, I've had consistently bad service. I don't know if they're poorly trained or if they just don't care. Some of the absolute worst food service workers I've ever interacted with. It's not 100 percent of them, but there are enough that it effects me every year.
Robert Mizrahi
Beautiful venue and weather the day we attended. It’s a pleasure navigating the stadiums and visiting the various food courts and shopping at the stores. Of course the tennis matches were exciting to watch and were fortunate to have seats in the shade on a very sunny day 🙏🏼 …
Lisa Spears
Great tennis center with the beautiful modern Arthur Ashe & Louis Armstrong stadiums. There are lots of good food options and plenty of seats in the open air food court. Don't forget to go to the practice courts to watch the pros warm up (P 1-5).
H H
An amazing tennis experience for any tennis fan. So many courts and great renovations done including a more spacious Louis Armstrong stadium and relocated Grandstand stadium. Mobile roofs available for Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong. Multiple food options and lots of choices for hydration. Multiple peripheral courts for close proximity to the professional players. 🎾💚
Ryan Schick
Go to the US Open if you can. Easy to get to by train, world class venue, incredible tennis. The grounds are very enjoyable if you cannot afford a stadium ticket and there is plenty for everyone to do!
Allister McGuire
I went for the NYC Bacon And Beer Classic. It was great. The stadium is clean and the bathrooms were also quite clean. The parking was terrible though, but I think it was because there was also a New York Mets game that was sold out at the same time. I don't think the parking is usually such a chore.
Sarad Thapa
It was great experience just
Waiting for 2020 us open 🏟🇳🇵 …
Kossi Mensah
If you are a tennis fan, you have to attend the open. Period.
Julián Leandro Gómez
A paradise for tennis fans.
Fokke Willemse
The famous place for the US Open 🇺🇸 Tennis 🎾 Grand Slam in September. Excellent organized, good Staff, good Food, safe! Now since 50 years in 2018. Enjoy but is not for lower Budget and is NO Smoking on the Area. We are smokers and no smoking on this world, so they have to make it possible for everybody, like on a Airport! …
Robert Zara
Tremendous place to enjoy tennis. However the food at the concessions are quite overpriced ($14 for a small cupnof sauvignon blanc? $5.75 for a small bottle of Evian water?).
Jeannie Noriega
Truly wish seats weren't so uncomfortably small ! Knees were aching. Had a great first experience nonetheless. Drinks are delicious!!!
Vadim Shleyfman
Great day of fun and entertainment. A yearly pilgrimage with my wife.
Freda Henderson
Love, love, love. Just a nice, nice place to visit. You really forget you are in New York. Everything about this place is great. I really, really like this place. Can't wait for US Open next year. It is a must do for me every year. If you visit once, you will visit again and again. A must do.
Salman Faridi
Amazing experience watching the top players battle it out at the Arthur Ashe stadium for the U.S. Open. Plenty of variety to choose from in terms of food and drinks around the stadium. Taking the train to the arena is the best option I think. There are always last minute cheap deals for tickets, so always keep on the lookout online.
K. Young
What's not to love about The US Open... Can't wait to attend next year....
Adam Cohen (DaDa Rocks)
Home to the US Open. The largest Tennis event of the year that’s based in US. There’s dozens of courts, different food vendors each year. When it’s not in Open mode, it’s still the home of Tennis leagues and training/lessons year round.
Jennifer Higdon
Finally realized a life-long dream of attending the US Open! We took the advice we found on the US Open website, and took the 7 train to Mets-Willet station. It let us out right at the boardwalk-type bridge to the Tennis Center. It wasn't fun standing in line for an hour in the heat and humidity; which we now know was the worst in the history of the tournament there! Of course, we knew we'd have to wait for the day session to end before we'd be admitted for the night session. I wish there were a place to eat just outside the gates. Once inside, we chose tacos from the Angry Taco, and of course, the meal was very expensive. We both had the same chicken tacos; my husband liked his, but I felt the chicken was tough to chew, and dry. Because of the weather, we had to buy multiple bottles of water, which was $5.00 or $6.50 depending on the size of the bottle. There were plenty of restrooms, which always close by. We attended 3 different days, in 3 different sections, and we had a good view from each, 2 times in the Loge section, and one time in the Promenade section at Arthur Ashe. We caught a bit of 2 matches at Louis Armstrong, which was an impressive stadium. The air felt cooler in there than in Arthur Ashe, I'm assuming because of the construction. It was fun watching Rafa up close on a practice court; too bad the black netting over the viewing glass makes good photos impossible. We would have liked to catch some matches on the other courts, but since the viewing areas are small, we'd have had to wait in line until some people left the stands before we could go in, sit down, and watch. Overall, it was great to see so many players in person, and watch matches from the stands instead of just home on the television. Too bad we live 4 hours away in Maryland, or we'd definitely plan to go more often in the future.
Kosta (K)
Beautiful courts and if you go before 8am the prices are very, very reasonable. Outdoor courts are a bargain in the city.
A Verma
Always a fun time at the US Open. Food selection has improved significantly and having the roofs even when they're open creates so much comfort for all people attending the matches! Love it!
Arjun Kaul
The most amazing tennis venue on the planet.
Sasha Blair-Goldensohn
Pristine courts and a spacious, well kept up interior. You can book hours in advance online or by phone. I've played here as part of a wheelchair tennis program, and the coaches and other center staff are really good - the place just has a nice vibe about it. Also, check out the tasty and inexpensive snack truck in the plaza out front if you are hungry before or after your games ...
Robert Huggins
Great venue but they take complete advantage of the fact that you are stuck in the facility. Prices are extremely high. USD$6.50 for a bottle of water. That's just ridiculous. And no backpacks allowed, they will of course hold it for you, for a fee of course.
C H
Too big! So expensive too. Get ready for the US open that get your ticket soon or you might be closed out of this concrete park!! The USTA National Tennis Center is quite simply too big and too much concrete. It is a lot more then just the US Open. It is a park with an indoor tennis facility where people can learn a great sport. It is public and it's named after one of the game's greats. However, the tennis stadium is just way too big and very impersonal and not conducive to a true tennis environment. The indoor tennis facility has fantastic tennis courts and solid tennis programs for the general public. It's really too bad you can't use the entire park when the US Open is not going on. It seems as if the US Open area turns into a museum and we are jailed from it. Getting tennis lessons are easy and fairly inexpensive. The US Open, however, is a complete rip off. It's truly hard to believe that the governing body of the USTA does not cap the amount of money that people are spending to watch the event. Also, this National Tennis Center should have the best tennis program in the nation, especially since it's named after a great tennis player. Whatever the case, tennis has lost its luster due to the concrete, physical size, and total outrageous pricing. It is certainly worth a trip to the national tennis center if you're a tennis lover. As for the US Open, if you have a lot of money, then go and enjoy it. The USTA governing body needs to rethink its approach to the National Tennis Center and sharpen the pencil to make it worthwhile for everyone. Some things never change. I hope you enjoyed the US Open.
Nicholas Polanin
Best tennis seen at Louis Armstrong and Grandstand seating.
eduardoj40 (eduardoj40)
magnificent place to see tennis matches. Specially the 1st week, I have visited here for the USOpen for the past 6 years and always a good experience. It it not so good when it rains. The food court vendors prices are high. Beers are about 10 bucks.
Rahim Jiwani
Getting to and from the tennis centre is surprising easy. The organization of the tournament is top notch as well. The only issue I have is with Arthur Ashe Stadium - it is way too large to have any atmosphere and if you're on the second level you can't really see the players.
Paul Mitchell
We have gone to the US Open for eleven years. The "nonprofit" USTA is trying to maximize profits and make larger stadiums that make viewing the venue on TV better. If you go, bring a lot of money and patience as the security lines and trains to the venue make it the start of a long day. Before they got rid of the old grandstand, fans with day tickets could get to see some of the best players and matches from the front rows due to open seating. Now, 3 main courts have assigned seats for the closest seats so the TV audience has a better view of the action on those courts.
Paulose Peter
A life-altering experience. Too much excitement in the air. All edible things are expensive though. Too many people. But there is a clear difference between watching from the sofa at home with the favorite drink in hand and watching it in the stadium where you can live action with live peole.
Madeline Case
Went with my husband where he was trying out to be a ball person for the US Tennis Open.
Unfortunately, he didn't make it.
Monisha Sherpa
Best for tennis spectators. US Open needs no description while the heat might need some introduction. Arthur ashe is somewhat shielded from heat. But other stadiums, basking in heat gives off unbearable heat.
Yes no AC so prepare well and make necessary arrangements when you plan coming to see the popular US open.
John Saade
Great location, nice matches
Serena Oditt
A vibe like no other tennis stadium
Joe Loschiavo
Great tennis today.
K L
Tennis was great!!! Very disappointed they had nothing interactive to do like all the years before going back to 1995!!! Unless your kids like tennis there's nothing for them to do.
Shimi K
Visited US open 2018 after 2 weeks later. The shop was all closed.
Masha Pasenchuk
Ok. So here’s why 3 stars and not 5:
- signage isn’t super clear. I’m not a total idiot and typically manage to find my way around stadiums, but i first struggled to find the entrance to our arena, and then ended up in the wrong section.
They did have greeters at the entrance, but they all disappeared as you walked further in, and that’s where it actually got confusing and no one to ask.
- bathrooms weren’t the cleanest
- stadium ran out of tap water - toilets wouldn’t flush, couldn’t wash hands and no water in the drinking fountain
- last, but not least, albeit not specific to this particular location, as every sporting venue is like this - but $5 for a small bottle of water. That’s just wrong. There should be a law against that!
Positive:
- we sat towards the very top, but the game was still easy to see and follow
- they do a cool fan cam thing where they take a photo of you in your seats online (if you want). I liked that.
- game score is easily visible and clear.
- decent “entertainment” between sets (idk if they’re called sets. But while the players are chilling)

Beautiful Day at the Park about 4 to 5 game's going on simultaneously
Mart Tõevere
I have not been to Melbourne, but of the 3 others, this is the best in terms of the grounds - plenty of room and supporting facilities. The atmosphere is a bit better in Wimbledon, but this is not far off. On the downside, there is no cheap option to see tennis here as the grounds ticket is almost as expensive as the court ticket. On the upside, you can get to all courts except Arthur Ashe with that.
Adam Leader
Its tennis paradise in Queens. Enjoyed the food options this year and the infrastructure improvements of late (more restaurants, upgraded venues, better wifi etc) are super. Parking is always a challenge. Parking shuttles claim to be continuously running, but they need to roll more often. Would be nice to provide a bus option for accessing the South and West gates from subway/train/orange packing areas.
john speck
Very nice, but way overpriced, even for New York. I understand the booze, but why does a bottle of water cost $6?...$6! For the price of the ticket they should give you a complimentary one when you walk in.

The Best Tennis on the planet !! ..
The iconic location known world wide . It is a buzz. of activities during the Tennis Season...Music and eating areas .The memorabilia shops and seating areas around all locations are beautiful. A great day out !! ..
Brent Crenshaw
Just incredible. You will have an amazing time whether you like tennis or not. Great food. Great layout. Fun things everywhere. I loved taking the LIRR train from Penn Station to Metts Willets point and literally being right at the front door. So easy to access. Easy to enter. Was awesome.
Joanna O
The sports complex is pretty massive and offers all sorts of things, from sporting venues to bars and restaurants, and merchandise. We've always enjoyed going there - though be prepared to walk a ways, especially if coming from the subway station.
Maciek Zinowko
You have to experience U.S. Open at least once in your life. As for myself, I keep coming back every year. Always get the grounds pass and enjoy the atmosphere on smaller courts. Since Grandstand is being demolished (horrible idea) I recommend catching a match on court 17 (the bowl)
Chris SuttonSr
Love working here. Ashe and Armstrong stadiums both have roofs.
Martin Severens
Every here for the Us Open the atmosphere is simple magic.
Can’t wait to go back,
sophia merino
I worked the U.S. Open and I loved the experience. I would love to come work for them again.
Jason Koth
The U.S. Open is the best few weeks of the year. The energy in the Tennis Center is fantastic and it's always great to be amongst all the fans. It gets overrun with people, but it's an absolute blast. Once the roof is finished, Ashe is going to be spectacular!
Purvi Patel
Nice stadium to watch US open. Screens are much better. However, the new roof has poor ventilation which is terrible especially in hot summers. Food options could be better.
Ivan “The Transylvanian” Gelb
We've been here for many years. The massive improvements for this year are very fan friendly. The new roof on Arthur Ashe produced a great day instead of full schedules rain delay.
The food selections are better than ever. Enjoyed Poke spicy tuna, crépes, and Nutella pizza.
Freddy Martinez
I come every year and love it. Everyone should come experience it once. World class tennis at a world class venue.
Frank Aghili
Nadal - Del Porto 1/2 Final Match
Karen Fleming
Staff and grounds are outstanding! Plenty of places to sit between matches. Bathrooms stocked. Many water fountains. The Staff has treated my friends & I very well. Thank you New York.
Ruth Bernal
Since 1984, at the end of the Summer, I have enjoyed along with New Yorkers & Citizens around the world, Good Tennis indeed.
In one place, Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. We all have fun watching excellent tennis matches with friends, families & co-workers. 🎾 🎾 …

Once a year visit, always got the special feelings...
Carolina Quiroga
Watching the US Open was fantastic!!
Anna-Maria Bogdanova
If you decide to go to US Open, you can easily spend the whole day here. Enough of options for food, drinks, shops and entertainment. Screens are everywhere! You don't have to be on the court to enjoy the emotions of a good game!
Duncan Morgan
US Open 2nd round matches for 2018. Large tennis complex which combines retail and food options. There are very large crowds for this event but it is very well organised and the facilities and management are clearly adept at hosting an event of this size.
Christopher Castro
This is the grand slam which achieves the best show out of the 4 ones. Wimbledon is elegant and serious, but the US Open is like a rollercoaster! All action happens here, and they really know how to make it happen. I had the pleasure to be here in the 2013's US Open final, where Nadal beat Djokovic. A truly unforgettable moment.
Ramon sanabria
Over rated , but if you're a tennis fan who cares ?
Nadine Calloway
This was my first time there. My daughter and I had an awesome experience.
Leslie Saunders
Wonderful day watching many great matches. The venue is amazing. Each court has a different feel but you always have a fantastic view.
greg bodrick
This place is nice. We went for the bacon and beer festival and had a blast. Security was cool, all the vendors were cool. Got to actually see and touch the tennis courts. Overall great time.
Igor Balburov
Unreasonably high prices for mediocre services and food.
Other amenities are ok.
I strongly suggest to use public transport to get to the place. More convenient and less stress.
Niv Sri
Massive stadium .. you can get a clear view wherever you sit. Steep climb to the last rows though.
Elmuiz Ahmed
Easy access whether by car or train, subway. Plenty of food & drinks vendors, expect typical sport events inflated prices. Clean public pathrooms, TV's to watch the games while walking around!
Joshua M
Awesome place to watch tennis.
B L
Just amazing, no other words to describe. Some tickets are expensive, but if you are a big tennis fan it's worth paying extra for the experience, and you can often get discounted tickets at the last minute. It's way better than buying US Open tickets through third party websites due to convenience and reliability. The entire experience is breathtaking, the food is amazing, the courts are well maintained, the crowd gets electric during some points and some matches tend to get epic. Seeing a five- hour epic match from Ashe in person like Nadal vs Medvedev from the 2019 final was way better than watching a great match of a similar calibre, like the Djokovic and Federer 2011 semifinals, on TV. This is the place to come to see big names like Federer, Nadal and Djokovic or Sampras and Agassi from the past. Even through a grounds pass, although you can't come on Ashe, you can still see tennis players on practice courts and watch doubles matches as well, also an incredible experience. If you can, buying a ticket for Ashe is like no other experience. Truly one that lasts a lifetime.
Alvaro Lopez
The NTC indoor facilities at USTA Billie Jean King: You always feel like in family ambient. The Facilities are great. The only thing that they are failing is the cleaning process to courts, it seems like they don't vacuum it very often. It looks very dusty.
Barry Hendrickson
My first time on the grounds of the tennis center. It's a great place to spend the day and enjoy the present and future stars of the game.
A Mov
It is becoming more like a soccer stadium. The crowd have no respect for eachother or the game. Parking is an after thought. The stadium is great and the food gets better every year. It's not what it once was.
Daylyn B.
1st time at this venue for a non tennis event. It has poor lighting at night. The restroom was clean. Parking was aweful due to a mets game. The staff told people to park in the grass only to be given tickets at the end of the night.
JK Hunter
Very nice facility. We were there for Pace University graduation 🎓!! 📸: jkhunter1 on IG …
David Saliny
We enjoyed watching Djokovic Vs. Nishikori. Great seats, awesome venue and top notch entertainment!

As a worker here . I Meet So Many Wonderful Guest & Have the most outstanding mornings and afternoons with my fellow coworkers. Everyone is so Kind & Helpful. I Would recommend anyone to visit The US OPEN 👍 …

Directions for Truck Drivers... From 495 or 678 take the College Point Blvd exit... Then turn left on Avery ave.. You will see Home Depot on your right... At the end of the avery ave turn right on east rd... East rd takes you to the meridian rd... Follow meridian rd and it takes you to BILLIE JEAN KING NATIONAL TENNIS CENTER... Place a bit tight... Blind spot docks... Good luck professional drivers
Craig Sosonko
Excellent Children's Tennis classes. My 5 year old son's class has roughly 5 teachers for 10-12 children which gives them great attention at a world class facility. Plus the classes are reasonably priced on par with other types of sports programs like local soccer and basketball.
Guo m
The atmosphere at the US Open definitely lived up to my expectations. By the time the Del Potro/Wawrinka match ended, it was already 1:30 AM and their were fans still in the stadium cheering for their favorite player on!
David Isaacs
If you are tennis fan you don't need to be encouraged to come. If you're not bring your kids on kids day usually Saturday before US open begins. Look it up. You will not regret.
Maria J Martinez
Best tennis tournament in the world.
The atmosphere is uplifting and fun. Expensive experience if you enjoy playing or watching tennis, but worthy.
Annlex Arriagada
Nice place to visit , go for a walk and take the kids to ride there bikes or scooters.
Michael Sanders
If you have night tickets you can't get in until 6pm. It's caused backups at the gates and food lines. You'd think they'd let you in at 4pm (the way they used to) so it'd take pressure of lines and actually get fans to the courts. Between 4-6 there's hardly anyone watching outside courts. We're Tennis fans, let us watch!
Francois Rizzetto
Love the US Open. It's always quite busy there (food venues in particular) but it's to be expected. Love the new roof. Noise is not that bad but it is an adjustment.
Ramsey Kerkula
Tons of food vendors, restaurants & tennis courts to watch individuals play
Jason Karsh
Great location for the US Open
Ernesto Pons
Awesome experience once again to be at the US Open. Really missed to be sitting at the stadium watching good tennis
Ken Godfrey
One of our favorite places in the world. Comically expensive though.
Justin Natale
Mecca for any tennis fan in the metropolitan NY area. If you visit during warmer weather, there's a nice, large park, soccer fields, beach volleyball courts and a natatorium. Museum of Science within walking distance too and the arguably the Chinese food in New York one stop away on the 7-train in Flushing.
Timothy K. Murray
This is a great venue but 5th row tickets help. There are a lot of good food choices. Staff do a nice job of moving people and keeping it clean. Terrific 🎾! …
Jacqueline Colon
It was awesome. I saw Nadal play. It was a great match. The food choices were awesome and the drinks were even better Grey Goose honey melon.
Rafael Alsina Jr
First time seeing a tennis match. I get the honor of seeing Sarena William. US OPEN, how great is that. Plus she won her semi finals match you go girl.
Antonio Gonzalez
The USTA is a great place to play and visit. Anyone can visit anytime of year. Playing there feels like your in amazing company knowing the greats of the game have played there.
Gabriel Cruz
Great place for work and have fun with family .
Jeongwoon Eun
Excellent place to play tennis and get together with your friends at USTA. If you are looking to take lessons, you have to make sure you are tested by the instructor for NTC Free evaluations first then you can apply for the tennis class. Some instructors are wonderful and other instructors are not.
Pro- EXCELLENT FACILITY to play tennis, wonderful space and the front desk people are very nice.
Con- DISORGANIZED administration( dealing with payments for tennis class), not all instructors are good, so before you sign up to learn from the instructor talk to the teacher BEFORE YOU pay for the lessons. Ask the people who are taking the class what their thoughts are about the instructor and ask the instructor what the expectations would be in class. If that instructor is discourteous and rude to you that is a warning sign not to sign up with them. Some classes are filled up right away so be ready to sign up when the classes are open online.
Tek Wrangler
I saw the Federer v del Potro match here on 9/6/17, it was a great matchup. The venue was great too, a lot of good food options. Lines get a little long, but not un-manageable. To skip the crowds go up into the stadium before the match, lines are very light up there until later.
Worst part was the parking lot afterwards. For best results park near the exit, back into your spot and walk. Afterwards you'll thank me.
G J
US Open is always awesome and I love visiting this stadium to watch the best tennis matches.
Kendra Nobiz
The facilities are good. Fuku apparently has three (at least!) locations here!! If you leave from or via Manhattan - even if you are on the East side - you should STRONGLY consider taking the LIRR out there. Honestly, the subway used to be ok and now is terrible, laborious and long.
Chris Hsin
Home of the US OPEN! Nothing more to say. If you're a tennis fan, this is a must!
Steven Echard, CAE
Arthur Ashe is much nicer with the roof and the cooling system. The new Grandstand and Court 17 are the best. For those who want to watch any other courts, arrive early to get seats in the shade (if you can).
Thirumalai K Raman
People from all over the world. The pulse of the place and the Matches is to be seen and Felt. The food village has long queues. The food in all of them is pathetic.RIP OFF. THERE IS NO OPTIONS FOR FOLKS CAUSE MOST MATCHES BEGIN AT 11AM.FOLKS Don't go out to Meal cause of the rigmorole of getting back through security and the boardwalk in 90degrees heat. Folks bring your s'witches and water. Water is 6$ for a small btl.
K. Braeden Anderson
Loved our time there for the US Open. Solid area for families. Good people working the grounds. Really enjoyed my time there. Generally recommend.
Treverlyn Francis
It was crowded but well organized people were everywhere to answer any questions and guided u to your seat. Was great
Brit
Great place to enjoy tennis. Concessions stands are as expensive as they come. Be prepared to be fleeced if you get hungry. Definitely make sure the kids eat before you arrive.
Richard Bass
Had a fantastic experience there at the US Open
Juliet Blackman
I had a great time. The lobster roll was delicious & my daughter love the Korina bowl.
Ali Almurtadha
A massive yet beautiful and organized tournament.
Gary Streisand
US Open is one of the best NYC events
Michele Weston
The US Open is one of New York’s gems that takes place here ... it’s a great day spent here for any tennis!! Great food stalls and drinks as well !
Brian Lu
real nice park to visit. During the US opening week you can visit for free before the real game starts. During regular time you can visit the sights and water fountain in the area and go for a bike ride if you rent it or bring your own.
F G
If you are a tennis fan, player or love the sport you won't regret coming here! This gran slam is awesome, you can feel how everyone loves the sport!!
The food price is really expensive... You better grab something out ... 20 usd for 3 chicken fajitas?!?! Rlly?!?
They got give shops all over the pace!
Sheri Spencer
Overall excellent

1. food stand at Ashe ran out of cold bottled water - had room temperature bottles. When i asked for a cup with ice i was told that would cost me the price of a soda $6.50 - i already was paying $7 50 for the water. To pay for ice also is a bit of a rip off. Why not offer a small cup that is not part of counted inventory.
2. AMEX offer - if one enrolls an eligible AMEX card and spends $100 one can get back $20. Deoending on who you ask the terms differ. I was told by a sales person that i had to enroll my card every day (not true but wasted a half hour to wait on line to enroll the same card on a second day only to find out that wasn't necessary.
I also had the question do i have to spend $100 in one day to get the $20 back or can i spend over several days. Again depending on who i asked including Amex staff, i got different answers.
I have read the FAQs and offer terms and neither of my questions were a answered or answered clearly. Not good form

So I'm giving this a four while ignoring the small fortune it costs to spend the afternoon here. However, if you want to see tennis in a "no bad seat" venue with great crowds, Ashe stadium is great.
sue johnson
This place is amaziiiing!! I have seen several great matches here, US Open is my fave grand slam and I'm so happy to say I have seen the Williams sisters play here!!!
Shari L
US Open + Honey Deuce... Great time. Get a grounds pass and watch games on the lower courts.
Paul G.
Opening day was a big WOW!!!!
Lolo Nel
The staff was friendly here and assisted the guest to their seats for the commencement ceremony.
Peter Cole
Kids had a great time!
Edison Won
Great place to watch and play tennis. Their indoor courts are amazing. Besides having about 10 indoor tennis courts, they have a store inside their tennis club and have numerous number of ping pong tables.
Rob M
It's open again, great tennis. Opening day lines were a problem. And the prices for food and drinks is outrageous.
Angelique Boone
Parking lot a is overcrowded and under staffed! NYPD took away the seasoned officers, these new ones have no idea where to sen people. The traffic is unbelievable and the officers make ir worst.
Ken Mitchell
We are lucky to have this great venue to enjoy a major tennis tournament in our area. They have made lots of improvements in the past few years to enhance the venues.
Oscar Eppley
Best sporting aren in the world!
David Kratochvil
Always a fun time watching great tennis!
Chuie Zhou
Just a dreamy venue, particularly if Federer is in the house. I wish everything was a bit more affordable, but alas, tennis caters to the wealthy, and the attendees certainly reflect that.
Surendra Bridglall
Us open was incredible....we bought grounds admission and saw great matches...but you are not allowed onto Ashe stadium with these tickets. Food is expensive...so bring in some food in small quantities.
lion gill
Great fun. Good at atmosphere. Bring own water bottle, they have water fountains. Skip the over priced drink options with your own container.
Carol Commissiong
Great US Open 2021 #tennis
Ruizhe Yang
Great experience to either watch from the stadiums or just go to the smaller courts to see the players up close.
Esther Gier
Wonderful venues for tennis! Almost every seat inside Arthur Ashe is a good one! Good food, nice souvenirs & plenty to see!

USTA National Tennis Center; US Open site; USOPEN Food Courts....
Starts from the local Train 7 ride (fast&pleasant), if one decides not to pay the $20 parking fee at the Citifield or USTA parking lots (convenientBUTpricey);
- the boardwalk lays sturdy,steady&airy (first of many a photo-op locations) warm-up for throngs of tennis enthusiasts (the white-collared, the young@heart & thefamed-ones);
- pedicab (if uwant to opt out of the exercise) from the railroad to the entrance for the weak or dreary ;-);
- rotunda, in service to the thick long lines and the major sponsors' ads/billboards (MercedesBenz, etc) with ample, clean restrooms conveniently&logistically tucked for all;
the grounds (ahhh so pleasant and engaging, souvenir-shopping) bounded with booths, kiosks and a number of grandstands other than the major Arthur Ashe & Armstrong stadiums; the FOODCOURT(convenient, goodvariety, prettysettings, &&&) just below the huge MONITOR(perfectplace to hang out and watch action if/when u're w/o ticket);
Unisphere/fountains (photo-op loc) within the grounds, also in perfect view from the AAStadium;
- tennis courts in front and gates to the AA Stadium is excellent for TennisCelebrity sightings/autograp op ;-D in addition to the pre-Open ArthurAsheKidsDay event where u'll have close up encounters with all players in practice.
It ends up with U taking back the starry (for evening sessions) boardwalk stomping back to the crowded train7 ramp, with a big SMILE and a lighthearted feeling, win or loss.
It's an annual exercise for the family to be on the grounds or in the stadiums enjoying the sights& sounds, watching&cheering, shopping&falling (in line or in love). It's worth the $$$. Welcome to my hometown, everyone!
Bill Rutledge
Favorite end of summer spot.
J B
Best place in NYC to play tennis and workout. The facility, tennis courts, and equipment are top notch. They also offer private training. Everyone should give it a try.
doreen miller
Look forward with much excitement for my annual 'go to'
L D
Great tennis is fun way to spend Labor Day weekend. Facilities get better and better.
Paul Austin
Us open, enjoying the festivities
Karen N
Firstly, the fact that it’s named Billie Jean King plays a part in why it’s a 5 star venue. If you don’t know about BJK, take a second to Google her and you’ll realise how much of an impact she has had in society, as a leader for equality way back when, she is the reason why women are paid the same as men in tennis and it all started with the US Open 🎾
Maxine Forbes
Awesome experience, the stadium is beautiful!! Lots of shopping, drinking and eating to do.
Jaclyn Porter
Fan-friendly setup, great food, tons of courts to get close to the players. Night matches at the US Open create an amazing atmosphere.
Josh Bardet
Really fun to come here and enjoy the US Open. Pricey food but clean, gorgeous facilities. Would highly recommend a stop if you are in New York City.
Dave Peart
However, both Armstrong and Ashe stadiums were flooded due to Tropical Storm Ida
Kyle Copeland-Muse
The unveiling ceremony for the Althea Gibson statue was brilliant. It's a wonderful tribute to a great champion, the new place to be at the open!!
christine smith
On my dream wish list to watch a match. Loved the Osaka match but (sorry Victoria Azarenka) do not like grunting
Samantha Winterburn
Great grounds for tennis!
Jackeline Jauregui
My favorite place on earth!
Anthony R
I love coming here but only before the US open when it's free, even though I'm not going to lie I purchased grounds only pass for the women's finals and it was a blast
Julien Tizorin
US Open is one of the best event. Excellent organization, great atmosphere and a chance to see super tennis stats from close.
Margery Hoffman
Premier Tennis facility in the U.S. Not able to handle the large crowds that come to the U.S. Open. They ran out of coffee and croissants shortly after the facility opened for the day we were there. Also food and bathroom lines were very, very long.
Ramona Jar
Exceptional facilities, everything is clean and well maintained. The trainers are very nice and their tennis programs are a great value for the money we pay.
Pat cc
We always have a great time here. We saw that best match of our lives with Nadal, unfortunately losing. We are here the same day every year.
Cecilia Kimball
Everyone was oh so friendly, need more spaces to sit and eat more shade better food also. On super hot days like this past year maybe a cooling station would be great
Mario Campa
Was soooooo good to be back at Flushing Meadows. An absolutely magical, energized and thrilling tournament this year.
Joseph Grosso
Great place for tennis fans, home of one of the 4 major tennis events - the US Open
Carla Thomas
Absolutely enjoyed attending the US Open 2019. Also had dinner at one of the restaurants on the grounds and it was amazing!
Matthew Hayduk
Love this facility! But the sound in the new Louis Armstrong stadium was horrible. Felt like GA were being treated like 2nd class fans.
Deepanshu Rao
Had a really good time, very friendly USTA staff!
Robert Nicoud
Usual great experience except one problem. Security would not allow a yeti bottle in. USTA sells the same thing inside. Need to get the message to security.
Andre G
Always a great venue, well spread out clean and fun.. go see the open and/or anybody the events there.. you will love it
Eric Milt
It was cool. Loved the atmosphère and felt safe. The staff was quick and the access to the train MTA-LRR was the good way to go
Drew Rahimi
This is the most underrated Park in New York City the real downside is no one pays attention to it until the US Open so most of the beautiful aspects about this park will not get cleaned until August
Robert Baiko
Really nice location that is close to the subway and the grounds are beautiful. For the US open you need a ticket to walk around the grounds, but it is well worth it.
Rasika Tata
Big place. Nice well maintained tennis courts.
Jane Kanicki
Fabulous facility. Good visibility even from the highest seats, but very expensive to buy tickets from the first Friday until the end of the tournament.
Greg Steigerwalt
The US Open is a must see for any tennis fan... Go with a day pass on the outer courts and you won't be disappointed.
Frank D.
Amazing stadium and energy...
Peter D
Great arena for international play wonderful layout and easy access unfortunately very pricy fan appreciation week good for those who can't afford to take the whole family to see the real thing
Gaby Gagliano
If you want to learn tennis this is the place to go. They have fantastic summer camp programs and great field trips. Its very professional and it has a great training center.
The Corcoran Group
In the earlier rounds, while you can catch the big name players at Arthur Ashe, if you want to watch truly great tennis up close and personal, head to Louis Armstrong or the smaller courts.
Lina Raouf
I really love playing here and have been doing so since I was 4. I really like the classes, facility and the summer class. They keep improving every year:)!
Bill Borbely
Outstanding tennis venue l
Alan Schulman
Great time at US Open
Michael Owens
Great venue for Major Tennis Tournament. Courts and facility is kept up great.
ashley pagan (Nerdy Gamer21)
Great place you see the US Open Tennis Matches and to learn tennis always. Prices are bit expensive but they do teach classes for all ages.
Daniel Schwartz
Always a hit the! So fun to walk the grounds. Tickets in ashe are so expensive for a good start, I'd rather just walk ther grounds for the us open.
Yi G
US Open 2021, good time!

Great tennis camp. I went there when I was young, then in highschool and now my daughters go.
