The park is very nice and the fields are too. The biggest issue was parking! We literally had to park close to the entrance and we played in the back field. Get there early!

We went for the first time to see our niece play soccer one evening. The whole set-up is impressive. Parking is ample, traffic flow is good. Many fields for many sports. Practice seems to be on the outskirts and games in the center by the floodlights. Plenty of space to watch and encourage the kiddos. Finding the right field for the right time was difficult and we eventually happened upon the right person to ask about the schedule. Also, the concession stand wasn't serving hit food, just popcorn and chips.

Beautiful sports park. I've been here a half dozen times or so for my grandson's soccer games. The fields are nicely maintained and there is adequate parking. The traveling snowball stand is a nice touch,

This park is very nice and well kept. The concessions are a little pricey, but there is a good selection and the food is good and served fast. The parking is ample, but it fills up quickly when there are tournaments. Great play area and water area for kids. The fields are well kept and the walking path is also well maintained.

The parking is a nightmare for tournaments. You have so far to "hike" after parking. It seems like the parking could have been better designed. Also all the bleachers are not covered on all the fields. Very uncomfortable on metal bleachers in 95 degree temps in direct full sun! Otherwise nice park. Clean.

I've always liked Chappapeela since it's development. I think it's a rather large park, which is something we sorely needed around here. When there aren't any games being hosted it's a good place to go walking or jogging. You'll usually only see a handful or more people and is generally peaceful.

Ryan, Ernie, Taylor and Andrew helped us in welcoming 35 softball teams into the park and ensured their experience was above and beyond any other park experiences. I’m so glad that there’s finally a huge park that our children can play in and the grounds are ALWAYS kept up that and the facilities exceed expectations. I’m really glad they placed it where they did and everybody has an equal opportunity to play whatever sport the children wish to play.

This place is great! I loved how huge the place was and even though I walked there during the winter it is still a very clean place. I wanted to find a park to walk through daily and I found it. I will certainly be visiting more often. I cannot wait to come here during the summer.

Baseball fields are nicer than most in the area. Crews are eager to address issues with field conditions. Rarely a rainout here. They bust their butts to get fields ready after rain.

This is a very clean and well organized sports complex. Other cities or towns should look here for a model to build there complexes or make some changes to be more like this place. Just a sports fan and parent of young athletes opinion!

Communication is terrible between parents and coaches. Had trouble with my child becoming a bench warmer on several occasions and some bullying by teammates last year.

Very nice gym facility with adequate gravel parking, comfortable bleachers, concessions and clean bathrooms. Quick access to I-12 and one exit from the Hammond Square Mall.

The park is great always brought my kids and dogs here since they opened years ago but now theres a no pets sign and some guys almost ran me and my kids over in chuck wagon on the walking path in a blind curve there was no one in the office to even take my concerns im very disappointed love the park

I do enjoy the play grounds at this park and the nature sections near the splash pad. But this park is lacking in shade, trees, or bathrooms that are open.
