We recently just discovered this place! We love it! It's huge! We watched a few games the day we went than came back a few days later to skate. Snank bar was great! We needed it after skating. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Restrooms are clean 100% recommend

This place was amazing!!! I wish we would have place like that for our team to practice. Especially, that our kids won Olympics and we don’t have ice whole year and if we have ice we are lucky to have 2 hours of that ice a week!

I really like Ford Ice Center. The arena is beautiful and access is easy off hwy 24. It is in an area that is rebuilding, but I have never felt unsafe parking or walking in to the arena. We are there at least once a week and really enjoy it. Also, the staff in the hockey shop are great, I highly recommend asking them about your equipment needs.

It is the perfect date spot!! My husband surprised me with an amazing day at the skating rink. We spent almost 5 hours there and took breaks to eat and drink delicious hot cocoa. And since were right next to a mall and food, we had one of the best days EVER!!

Great price for a great time! My wife and I went and had a blast. The ice was good, and the process of getting in and out was simple. Only downside is the rental skates. They are not very good. Plus I had to switch out twice because of laces problems. Great $10 date night!

It's ok but they need to have special adult date nights or something. It's just too many kids and the atmosphere has no fun dance music and the lights are too bright...which is fine but it needs to have certain events that are more modern (fun disco lights with modern music)

Great facility! It's always clean and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. They offer a variety of programs for all ages and experience levels, as well as open skate, and league play. Its a great place to go watch a local hockey match, skate yourself, or take some lessons. Additionally, they hold awesome community events that are entertaining and family-friendly. They also offer a nice range of snacks at the concession stand for a reasonable price. Because it's located next to the community center, kids can go outside and warm up on the playground after skating if they need to.

Astounding facilities and excellent services are provided at the Ford Ice Center. I've gone for public skating here and have had only a great experience each time. This is a fun activity for friends and family. I would recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes early as they can have lines to the door on certain days. The staff is very friendly and we helpful while we were there. I look forward to returning in the future!

Good place for family fun. There snack bar isn't too badly priced. I don't know about skating prices as i only go to watch SEC club hockey championships. It seems to be a real good time for families and a creative way to get in some exercise.

This is a beautiful facility. Any community would be proud to have this rink/facility available. It has nice rinks, plenty of rooms for parties or meetings. It is right next to a mall, library, playground, and community center. All within walking distance. The pro shop is nice and the staff throughout are friendly and helpful.

The facility is wonderful, everyone was nice. BUT the check in process to get skates for the birthday party we went to was chaotic. The adults were charged two different prices for skates. It was fun, will definitely go back, but the first impression was not the greatest.

This place is amazing! Great environment, friendly staff, great energy. If you want to take your kids out for a skate sessions, this is a great place. They also have loads of programs that you can get involved in with the kids. Go and check it out for yourself, you'll see what I'm saying!

Absolutely beautiful facility with fair pricing and well maintained. The downside I experienced was during stick and shoot; the reason that I was there. It seemed strange to me that 3/5 of the ice was taken up with private lessons that would become vocally angry if you got near them leaving six guys to skate in front of the benches between the blue lines while a coach and child took up 1/4 of the ice running drills.

Great place to go to start the day. The older gentleman who works the desk every morning is a good guy, always pleasant. Always been a good, well kept facility since it opened. Wish there was a spin off in Murfreesboro even if it was only one rink. Hard to expose people to hockey when all the rinks are in Nashville.

Fun experience to have if you enjoy skating or would love to try it! I personally went for a date and it was really fun. My boyfriend was a little more frightened than I expected, but he enjoyed it anyhow. Just make sure you look up available skating slots ahead of time! Fun for the whole family too!

Best public ice facility I've seen. Large and clean. We'll run. More than skate rentals, you can rent equipment to play. Great concessions that include beer. Glasses in viewing area lets spectators enjoy viewing games in comfort. Terrific staff.

I took a date here for the public skate and we had a super fun time! They rink wasn’t too crowded at all and they had cleaned the ice before they opened it for us. The price is pretty affordable, for 10.50 that includes your skate rental. The only reason I knocked a star was because every single staff member I interacted with was super rude. We we were not greeted, I asked for the public skate and she silently rang in my request and failed to tell me where to rent the skates or what rink we were going to be in. I grabbed a snack and walked back to the rental area and asked for my skates I had paid for and the guy directed me back to the girl who sold me a ticket and she swiftly directed me back to him. He then completely IGNORED my date standing next to me and I had to flag him down again to get his skates. None of the people working there could have been over 21 and they were super unhelpful and downright rude. Other than the experience with the staff we had a wonderful and will certainly be back! Go Preds 💕

My son learned to skate here, plays jockey here, and we have family skate night here! This place is immaculate. Has a nice, open area where you can sit and eat anything from pizza to BBQ nachos, and my 2 yr old is never bored in the commons area while his big brother skates. Very clean, well maintained, and I plan on having my son's birthday here next year.

I brought the family here for the first time. This is such a nice clean facility. The employees are helpful and friendly. The public skate want crowded at all. The location is a little weird.... It's on the back end of an old mall. If I remember correctly, the address/directions of the facility on their website were limited to non-existent. Lots of options at the concession stand.

Nice new facility and great location closer to Nashville but not downtown so easy parking and 5 minutes from hotels for tournaments. Nice to see NHL associated rink system starting to grow here. Only 3 rinks in the whole metro area.

Session seemed short for my liking but I enjoyed myself. Always chaotic around the holidays with the mix of experience levels. The sign in process warrants more time the first go round. Would return and recommend. I'm still in shock this used to be the mall I spent so many years working in.

Great clean facility. Unfortunately their website is miss leading... we showed up pretty late in the session and paid full price thinking the session was till 2:00 which is what it says on the website (see screenshot) and then find out it ends at 1:15. When I asked the manager she said that if I clicked on the calendar it says 1:15... how anyone would know to click on it is beyond me... didn’t really seemed concerned to leave a poor first impression on a new customer.

I signed my son up for hockey here and I love the coaches. The place is nice. This guy behind the counter where you get your rental skates, what a butt. Literally said "size?" Before I could get it out, he was walking away, then brought back the wrong sizes. And was such a butt about it. "Well that's all you had to say" remark. I was shocked. It just seemed no one wants to be bothered there. Like you're getting on their nerves. That's too bad, because we're spending a lot of money to play hockey there.

Fun place. Make sure to fill out your waivers online before you go the first time. Sessions for the Public are 1.5 hours long and they have 2 Public Skate Sessions a day on weekends (check their website for a calendar). If you don't fill out the waiver online make sure to get there early enough to fill it out and purchase your tickets/rent skates or you will end up missing most of your time on the ice!

Nice ice rink in Tennessee. Pro shop sharpened our skates onsite before game with NO complaints from my team. That is very important when visiting out of town during tournaments. Good variety at concession stand with adult beverages for the parent spectaculars.

The facility is great, been coming since opening. I like to skate with my kids occasionally. But the past three times I have tried have been almost impossible. The rental skates have been so dull the edges are rolled to the outside. I understand amateur skaters do not need agressive edges. However, when the skate slides sideways out from under you constantly, that is a safety issue. Especially for older, heavier skaters.

Our son just completed the first level of Scott Hamilton Skating Academy and loved it. We've already enrolled him in level 2. The instructors have been excellent and we saw a huge improvement between his first and last lesson.

Got here 15 mins before closing time for the pro shop for a sharpening so I could skate, they wouldn't sharpen my skates. Literally sliding all over the ice tonight. Not fun. This establishment is good. If you like never passing to the point, goal hanging, wingers, and really good goaltending, adult open hockey is for you. Go to an open stick and puck if you actually wanna have fun and improve your skillz.

Ford Ice is a great spot for skating, lessons, and hockey development. The Nashville Predators definitely have their stamp on the place, but that makes it fun for us fans! There are 2 rinks, one of which seems to be entirely dedicated to hockey leagues for various ages. There's a snack shop, but I don't know about their menu. I have to admit, though, the thing that I enjoy most about going is playing the bubble hockey tables!

Enjoyed being here in the public ice skating session. If you're a pro, sure you don't have to worry about nothing. But if you are a beginner in skating, don't forget to get some buckets before getting on the ice.
