The girls restroom definitely needs attention the curtain isn’t the move but as long as you don’t go to the bathroom it really isn’t that bad Dawson actually was super nice and I think we sat and talked for a good minute while he made my drinks. He has a great personality and really made the experience pleasurable. Also my salad is really good 👍🏻 thank you Dawson you rock and keep that good attitude up. 10/10 would come back again.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, we came on a league night but had so much fun playing pool and having some drinks. Very fair prices for food and drinks, we would love to come back on a night we can bowl. I do think they should list their league nights online. The women’s bathrooms were very clean and the atmosphere is very fun and welcoming!

Overall, it was a great place, but they have issues. They really need to make repairs on the equipment. The balls get stuck constantly. Purchase new custom balls here, and they were damaged with gouges when the balls got stuck. Food bar constantly closes while you are there even while you are standing in line and don't reopen until it's time to leave. I'm not sure how they make any money.

I love coming to Donelson Plaza Strike and Spare. I love bowling 🎳 here. I also love the pool table. Most of the time I come over for a couple of pool 🎱 games. Donelson Strike and Spare is a fun place to be. I both pool tables. The one in the bar and the one in the game room. I think Donelson Plaza Strike and Spare is the best bowling alley I've been to. 🎳 🎳 🎳

Recently, a lot of work (upgrades) have been added to this bowling alley. In my opinion, the house actually deserved it due to how old it was. Walls were painted recently, system was replaced with a newer one, and TVs were added. Staff is great and really flexible unless they can't be. I loved it here and would come back.

I've come here a few times and love it every time. The staff is really friendly and available for help if you need it. The food and arcade are closed right now due to covid, but both are excellent when available. You can purchase a number of games or a slot of time, whichever works for you. You will be allowed some courtesy time if you haven't finished but it is a limited quantity, maybe 15m? Also, if you have really tiny hands like me, you have to ask the staff for a small ball when you get your shoes. Quite fond of this place and plan to continue coming. :)

The guy running the place on Saturday around. 10 am was super helpful and very nice. We were from out of town and looking for something to do on our way home. This was a very clean environment and a lot of fun.

The place looked outdated from the outside but everything was in full function. The rates to bowl are very good and the place wasn't over crowded. The men that worked there were very nice. One thing that didn't work was the grill, but we made do. We asked the manager could we order food to come to the building since the kitchen grill was down, he approved us to order and the night went great!!!! I will be coming back to bowl here with friends and family. This is a great spot for group outings and maybe first dates for teens.

What better way to enjoy and evening with family and friends than bowling. We came here when our daughter was 3 yrs old and now one last evening before she is off to college, and we had a blast. The burgers and fries are great, beer is cold and the staff is very welcoming. Thursday nights after 8 you can bowl for $1.25 per game. This place has been here forever, and we always enjoy Donelson Strike and Bowl.

We had a great time bowling. The all you can bowl option worked great as far as price compared to paying for individual games. It kinda sucks they don't play any kind of music unless you purchase through the jukebox. We just played music from our phone. Four stars bc nothing special, or Great, but nothing bad either.

Clerk at the counter was rude when asking about game rates and didn’t include any bowling specials even when they were available and indeed cheaper, but can’t blame him.. by the looks of the place they could use whatever dollar they could get. Extremely outdated but kind of cute. A/C seemed like there was none but there were fans and the sound system was great.

I like the oldish charm, and there is plenty of more modern things too, if you don't like old style things. The food is great, and we bowled, ate, and did the fun zone with six people, for under $50! Great if you are looking for some quick fun and food. Would recommend not going on the GyroXtreme if you just ate though...

This vintage bowling alley has been in the same place since the early '60s from what I understand, so it's definitely got a lot of old school bowling alley charm. There's really nothing too fancy going on here, but there's a good snack bar, bar area, small game room, and, of course, a couple dozen or so lanes. It's in an old shopping center, so if you're into vintage things, this bowling alley and how it's located in the old center are pretty cool.

Great hole in the wall bowling alley. Cheap beer and all you can bowl day specials depending on the day. Lanes are well taken care of and there's a gift shop, game room, and 21+ lounge area in case you miss time your visit and end up there on kid night lol

I work here, I'm not gonna say it's perfect but the food does take a while to get because we get SWAMPED in the snack bar and it gets confusing but at least we get you your food. Also the games in the arcade mess up, all arcade games do that, that's why there's a sign that says "play at your own risk" above the door. The bowling lanes are small and get stuck sometimes but what bowling alley doesnt?

For the big labowski in all of us... gotta try this throwback to a different time...as a Nashville native this is an original...been here forever...usually easy to get a lane..and the air hockey table is the best in the area..in the back if you're looking...basement bowling at it's finest

Went bowling there on a Friday night, our computer was broken and instead of offering to move us to another Lane we were just supposed to deal with it while paying full price. Bartender was good.
