This was a fun lil place to check out. We went on a week day so it wasn’t super busy! Unfortunately the guy running bowling was super grumpy and wouldn’t let anyone else bowl and closed down 2 hours early.

This is a great place to unwind with friends, family, and beer. As other reviews have said, the lanes are challenging and the balls have craters in them. But who cares about those details, you're not going to bowl your best games without your own stuff anyways. The atmosphere and fun times you'll have with friends and family can't be beat!

Lane 10 is junk, messed up 3 times on us then when we went to ask them to fix it the guy sighed and said "well you're gonna have to wait" instead of sure no problem, I'll be right over to fix that. Didn't have Pepsi, even though the guns at the bar were Pepsi branded. It was some off brand imperial cola. Not very impressed. But still wasn't a bad place to have some Sunday fun.

This place is in the basement , well maintained. 8$ per person per game for bowling, pool table has waiting time on weekends. Beer pitchers are great. Bar service is good. They don’t have a kitchen so there’s no food.

Since 1927. This place has been an entertainment destination per the website. The vibe of this joint is unmistakably old Milwaukee. A massive main bar. Satelite bars. The stories the walls have seen here would write a movie. Glad I experienced it. $4.50 /gm w/ shoes. Great deal too

We showed up too late for bowling, but when we told the woman at the desk we were from out of town, she gave us a lane for a game. We weren't even pushing for it. She was just really nice, and we were able to get our game in before other people were finished anyways. She didn't have to, but it made our night.

Some of the bowling alley lane equipment is kind of broken, and the beer taps are notorious for being dirty and foul tasting. But hey, it's still an East side legend!

Came here for bowling but end up playing darts. FYI bowling area close at 10pm on Saturdays they don’t want drunks bowling. But the bar is still open. The bar area is pretty decent and with space. I’ll go again for some darts and pool. Only thing is no food. You’ll have to order out or eat before you come. The drinks were okay not strong enough. I’ll recommend for a night out.

Had a great time. There is bowling, pool tables, an arcade and plenty of TVs in the bar to watch the game. The drinks were good and the beer was cold. Service was good too. Nothin fancy just fun. Will definitely go back.

Been here before in my younger years and it was cheap and a good time. Last night was the same, cheap drinks, cool staff, and a good time. It's a little dingy but nothing you wouldn't expect from an old school bowling alley. Check it out! And it's a landmark (pun intended)

We had so much fun it would be nice if they had it mandatory to wear masks as the COVID numbers are back on the rise. If your looking for a good night of fun I recommend and be careful using the arcade some games such as the basketball one will keep your money and won't let you play it.

WOW. This place is everything a person could think of! They have great bowling deals. In addition, they have soooo many arcade games. I did not know they had Dance Dance Revolution! They also have amazing drink deals! They have karaoke every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 9 PM!! They also have multiple pool tables.

Always a fun place to go any night of the week. From bowling to pool, darts, and arcade games (ski ball, ddr, hoops, pinball, etc) they have it all. Even the staff are great people, especially with their regulars. Highly recommended

An expanse of pub games and affordable drinks. Bumper pool, steel tipped darts, and music make it one of my favorite bars. Arcade is decent too. Went bowling here and wouldn't repeat, the lanes are tilted and poorly oiled. We tried the assisted bowling ramp and it was next to impossible to hit pins, even planning on the curves. Great other games though, just need some maintenance on the lanes

For it to be a underground bar the temperature is always right. The tables are in nice locations so u don't bother other gamers to much. Liquor never water down. People are great. Definitely one of my top 3 locations to hang out in Milwaukee when I feel like getting out

This bar is great for games, good drinks, live/local music, and a light atmosphere. There's 3 separate bar counters inside and they treat them as separate bars. If you want to open a tab, you have to walk to the same bar counter to get more drinks. Love the times I've spent here but wish they would make it possible to pay at any of their bars on the same tab. Especially on busy nights when you have to wait to get your drink from the same bartop you have a tab at. I'd still go back any day because of the bartenders and the overall experience!

Pros - Had a fun time with my girlfriend everything was orderly, the bartender was very courteous and kept his mask on then he wiped the tables with disinfectant. Cons - Some of pool tables had cigarette ash on which is more of an annoyance. - There was really poor choice of bowling ball we were stuck with size "10" only wich was very tiring and heavy for my gf. Other than that the place is great hope they take care of those small details.

Had a great time with my boyfriend and friend. The drinks were fine and the bowling was a lot of fun. We all appreciated how strictly they adhered to the covid restrictions. Every bowling ball was cleaned after our use and they had various hand sanitizer containers through out the establishment. I will definitely come again especially when pool tables are reopened.

Recently discovered and feel like it is a hidden gem of MKE. It is a little mixture of everything here and there, but its a similar to a cozy dive bar that you would find at a college bar with the space and room for anyone to have a good time. I have not ordered any food yet; but the bar pours have always been spot on....or more booze than what you paid (which is either a good or bad thing). Bowling is by far the best attraction to me here - It is hard to find a decent bowling alley in the city, but they take the cake. The prices are not crazy either. Besides bowling. There are about 3 different bars. One hosts live music. another has 4-5 pool tables and darts. The other is a place to hang out. It is a great place to maybe take a first date to impress them with your bowling skills, or a chill place to hang out with friends.

Use to go to Landmark Lanes like 20 years ago and the place was disgusting. Now it's much cleaner and not as smelly. Love going there on Monday nights when is not too crowded to shoot pool. Plenty of pool tables along with bowling, arcade games and darts. Check it out for some fun.

It is as I remembered it from my youth.. A Eastside staple good people video and pinball game nostalgia. Alot of work on my knees since me younger days. Staff tho.. hmmm a tiny bit worrisome. Constantly asking and kind pushing the bowling experience to were it became VERY aggravating. Like an over attentive waitress asking how's the food every 5 minutes. Kinda dampens the experience..

This is the place to go for cheap drinks and great atmosphere to catch up with friends, play some bowling, do some old arcade games, or drink in one of their many bar areas. Seriously, they have like 3 mini bar areas. Pool tables too!

Really enjoyed our first time here bowling. Staff seemed miserable, but we rarely interacted with them other than checking in and returning shoes. Very nice lanes, no technical issues, hardly a crowd on a weekday evening. Had fun in the arcade afterwards as there were lots of games to try. I walked through the door and went downstairs only to be flooded with memories. Not being there for over 20 years, certain things have changed. Long ago, when smoking was allowed in bars, you had to wash your hair, clothes and virtually everything to rid yourself of the smell. It permeated everything. I saw the smoke eaters on the ceilings that haven't been used in years. Tuesday night drink specials are still there, but have changed a little. My daughter was intrigued, surprised and loved the place that I spent much of my 20's in. It's still the place I remembered. Great for college students and young adults. Lots of activities and a great place to hang out. Only now it's smoke free and you don't need to cough up a lung anymore, which is a big plus.

Its a pretty standard bar/bowling alley. Its definitely a lot bigger than you'd expect when you are at the top of the stairs, but once you go down, there is a huge bar, a bun of pool tables, a small arcade and of course several bowling lanes. Its nothing fancy but it is a fun time.

We enjoyed two games of bowling during our time here. The guy at the front was friendly and the lanes were nice. The balls were seriously dented but useable. Overall the place could use a little TLC but we enjoyed ourselves. The bartender has a heavy hand in making his drinks but we were happy for that after the cost of the drink. Overall there were both pros and cons to visiting here. We did enjoy ourselves and will coming back to try the old school arcade area!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars as I've had a lot of fun times here. A few words of advice - show up EARLY on weekend nights if you hope to get a lane - same with pool tables - they both fill up fast. Reason for the 3 star review has to do with the overall musty smell of this place - I understand it's a dive bar but I feel like sometimes it is hard to breathe down there!

From my experience Landmark has always been an Excellent place to visit @ anytime.Since the early 2000's ive bn there 4numerous kids bday parties,adult bdays,boys night out,dates,double dates etc .the atmosphere is energetic.now they have karaoke! was like 🤯the staff and bartenders are always friendly.this is one of my personal favorite

I went here not to bowl but to play foosball. The foosball table near the bar was out of order, the air hockey table was as well. I've been bowling here in the past and always had a good time. Shoes are clean, always able to find a ball that's the right weight. Overall great place.

City of Ghosts

Many of us have been going to Landmark for years and have always had some great times. The beer prices are great, the selection is spot on, and there's no shortage of things to do. They just started hosting live bands in their side bar and we just had the privilege of playing there. The staff was excellent and very helpful. And while they're still working to improve the layout and make it more show friendly, you can really tell how excited they are to foster the Milwaukee music scene. We played to a packed house and it was one of the most enjoyable shows we've played in a while. We're only expecting better things from this place as they start to host more live events. If you're a band or musician and are thinking about booking a show here, do it. We definitely plan on playing there again.

Whenever people come into town or we want to be silly this is a great place to go. The lanes are slightly wonky but that's the charm of the place...its why we go that and it's got that game room. You want to see adults turn into children go here it's fun and it's underground so it's the PERFECT winter getaway haha!

Looking for a vintage bowling alley with cool bartenders and juke box. These place has an arcade and three bars inside. Carpet and wood panel on the walls. I suggest a Pabst or a Jack Daniels & Coke. Fun place! Great for family fun during the day or date night. Guaranteed every night you will hear Michael Jackson played at least twice:) Drink specials daily.

Probably one of the only places in Milwaukee to have the best fun. A good arcade, has bowling alley, and a bar with good drinks on tap. Go early to get a pool table, or to not deal with a big crowd. Can get very busy.

Solid bowling alley. It's a bit of a dive, but it's friendly. The bar food is at least average. The bathrooms are clean. There are a wide variety of guest bowling balls. I found one that was perfect for me! The pins occasionally get stuck, but the staff is prompt with reset assistance.

Overall, I like Landmark lanes. It's pretty divey but it has a unique enough charm to make it worth visiting. The video game section is a little nicer now, though don't be too suprised if there's broken machines or you don't get your tickets. There's a really decent pinball selection of you're into that. Prices on drinks and such are really reasonable.

Love this place, they upgraded the arcade and have plenty of pool tables and bowling lanes for bowling and a snooker table in the back bar. I have been there on company events as well as going for a night out with friends. They also host Sunday pool Tournaments!

A timeless classic. Three separate bars bowling, pool, video games. What more could you ask for. Always drink special every night. Good thing they discontinued the Stumplifter, that caused a few rough nights. Oh and watch out for that Blatz on tap. You'll be on the toilet all day.

Living on the east side of Milwaukee for 6 years, I regularly came to this bar. It's loved by all. There's plenty to do weather your on a date or just hanging out with a friend. It can be a family place too! Ive seen lots of familoes bowling and playing in the arcade. (And they have Tekken Tag Tournament). If you dont want to do that you can play billards too. Some nights they have 8 tables. Darts are free just have to give a $10 deposit & an ID. Located next to other entertainment as well, it's definitley worth a stop on your next bar hop too!

I love Landmark Lanes. From the vinyl booths to the vague smell of damp cardboard, Landmark is everything a bar should be. There are three bars, each with a slightly different dive bar feel. There's pinball, video games, bowling, and a single foosball table tucked away in the back bar.
