Reviews of Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation Area
I love the peacefulness and calmness of the creek at the campgrounds. The people, here fishing were enjoying the quiet peaceful serenity of the water flowing down the creek. Area nice for outings. Plenty of places to sit down and eat. The creek is not carrying to much water so you can actually wear some rain boots and hop in or skip in the water. Small trail along the creek was too muddy, I couldn't go through. There’s a $2 charge for unregistered vehicles at entrance. Plenty of parking. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to share the different angles, had to take advantage and show it off.
Great place for a family get away. Nice camp site with many options and plenty to do to stay busy or just relax and enjoy the quiet
Great place for hiking, fishing, sight seeing, camping and much more either as a family or by yourself!
The sunset & sunrise was absolutely beautiful here ❤️......... One of the most peaceful but energizing feelings being able to see this beautiful picture God painted at otter creek....
Nice place, great people, price is really good come check it out!!
My favorite place to go hiking. Lots of trails and well maintained.
Not impressed. This is one of the least welcoming state parks I’ve ever seen. There are signs everywhere telling visitors to stay out of various areas. It’s kind of in your face all the time. It also closes (?) at 7pm ( posted hours, big sign) even in the summer. No one was manning the gate, so I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be open til sunset. The roads in the park are also pretty bad and the whole place has a air of neglect.
Nice place to visit, so surreal and beautiful. Also, a nice place to go during Halloween either to Nightmare Forest or Field of Screams. To great attractions to visit during the month of October or sooner.
Biked one of the trail loops and have ran part of one of the loops as well. Nice part. Trail is well maintained. Mnt bike wise wasnt the most comfortable ride. Wasnt a bad ride but the trail use is focused for bikes, and it shows. Just wasnt as well groomed as many other mnt bike trails. But it is a fun park and very pretty.
There is a $3.00 per person fee but it's well worth it. Lots of hiking trails, you can fish, there is also a campground and disc golf. We enjoyed hiking the Otter Creek Trail. Make sure you spray yourself with tick repellent!
This recreation area is just superb, I fished Otter Creek with my flyrod and got a dandy smallmouth bass.
We had a nice calm relaxing day. Because of the lack of funding there were a few things that needed some attention but all together it was still pretty well kept. The overlook had been vandalized & was locked up.
One of my most favorite, special places since I was tiny
Originally being from up north we don't play in creeks and if we did you couldn't see the bottom of them. It was warm and the water was amazing. Person at the gate was kind as well. Had a blast.
Great place to get together with friends and family. Love to swim and just relax. It's perfect if you want to hike, swim, cookout, plus many more activities.
Have tent camped in the campground a few times when younger. I also recall attending a summer camp here in the early 70s. Fun time for the most part and a great location.
Beautiful creek and timber. This area is well maintained and the nature is great. Saw an otter my first day there. Lots of deer as well.
Always a great place to get away from the rat race. The area is typically quiet and allows for a serene walk in the woods or along the creek. Kentucky Fish and Game folks are always extremely helpful and up for a decent conversation!!! See ya there some time!!!
It was lovely however I was unable to get out of our car 🚨. Pretty, leaves falling, children enjoying nature. I did catch some fishing around the bend. …
my family and I always go there every year to camp out and we always have so much fun
Went with a buddy to hunt White Tails. Overall a beautiful place not only for recreation, fishing but also hunting. Not well managed as expected. The roads need some work. They are getting quite broken up and there are some big pot holes around the park. The picnic areas are not maintained as well as they should be.
Has been a favorite place for 47 yrs! Today I spread some of my brother Pat McKain's ashes in the creek! So many wonderful memories in the creek!
Love going here to hike. My parents often stay in the campground and we go visit them. Beautiful area. Never busy. Kind of a hidden gem
This place is well maintained, it's a family friendly park that offers a lot of stuff to do as a family with kids. The camping is great has some really nice spots. I just recently camped with my nephew. The only thing that I personally didn't like about the park is you can only get in Wensday
through Sunday.
Good views, large campground, but very tight trying to wiggle in your spot. Other than that, very nice
Great quick getaway, nice and close but feels like you are further out there. Streams can be crowded but typically only in particular spots
Great place to go with family. Has great trails, you can wade in the creek, hunt, fish, frisbee golf, there is abundant wildlife, (minus the others the creek is named after we killed off), I do wish the nature center was what it used to be when I was young. Campground is ok, clean facilities.
Great recreational park
Camping fishing and hiking
Campground with a pool
Boat ramp for small boats
Lots of natural areas to explore
Access to the Ohio River
I'm kind of bias and love Otter Creek Park but I also grew up going here.
Very nice, the creek is perfect.
Awesome place to camp or take the kids for the day of outdoor adventures and shooting.
It was the best haunted house they have done to date. Been there many years but this year was by far the best one yet. Had so much fun and it lasted so long. Well worth the money! Highly recommend getting the pass to skip the line. Shortened our wait to 20 minutes. Had a blast!
Nice park, lots of abandoned buildings. No restrooms, just port-a-pottys in the areas we visited. Great views of the Ohio river.
The workers were really busy around there but they were getting a lot done being the first of the season but they were very helpful very nice the restrooms were just Immaculate very well taken care of so was the grounds definitely back be back probably most of the summer hope to enjoy a lot of time there and very nice people
Great open spaces. Beautiful creekside trails and bike/running paths. Camping is fantastic especially if doing the Ragnar race!
Great hike. Moderate trail with a couple of good inclines.
First visit so I didn't get to see it all, but it looks like a great place to fish.
Always an amazing place to build family memories
Fun place to hike, but the trails need a bit of maintenance along the creek due to overgrowth. Also, the trail system isn’t always the easiest to follow. There are overlapping parts and a few missing signs deeper into the back areas. Great views along the Otter Creek and Ohio River though and some nice little climbs throughout. They need to look at offering family passes though. Individual pricing is good at $3 a visit and $30 annually, but taking a large family is quite expensive. This seems like a significant oversight.
Beautiful Park, various areas to enjoy. However, they close as of this week for the winter. If you want to get a day of nature, this week is the time to enjoy otter Creek with the leaves changing. They also allow bow hunting, use caution.
Nice campgrounds. Alice at the office was exceptionally helpful. Look forward to a return camping visit. One suggestion: Advise guests when they make reservations or upon arrive that Ft.Knox maybe doing blast missions after dark. At first when we heard the booms we thought the squirrels must be at war with the groundhogs! LOL
Wonderful campground. Now run by Ky. Fish & Wildlife. GREAT people operating the park.
Season close 11-13 & reopen 3-17. If any short comings, No Real Store close. Loved our stay !
Great place to camp. Watch out for those mosquitoes!
This is absolutely my favorite park in the Louisville area. An abundance of gorgeous places to visit. Peaceful and the staff is always kind and courteous. If you're only visiting for the day you will need to buy a pass online. If you're going to camp there is no need to. Don't take my word for it, go and see for yourself.
I don't know much about this place because we only went because of nightmare Forest. and it was our second time in 3 years.
Very pretty and well maintained park!
Very beautiful out here id ya come check out the blue hole during the week when hardly any one is out here
Beautiful place with many outdoor areas to enjoy.
I thought that Dracula's scream was intense and on point, I appreciate the break where we get to separate again. The little girl on the wall has got great makeup effects, I adored the witch and her wittiness, but I must say the werewolf absolutely melted my heart lol I thought all the actors and actresses were absolutely wonderful and did very well in their roles. Thank you for another great fun scary year
Great place to camp. The stay limits though necessary are a pain in the backside. If I want to rent a spot for a month and pay ahead this should be allowed. Good people volunteer there
Always worth getting outside and enjoying the outdoors!! If you ever get a chance, otter creek is one place to add to your adventure tour!!
Good place to stay for us just to get out, wish more to do activity wise. Peaceful, clean and nice people
Absolutely love this place, this is my home from home. Gorgeous view, love swimming in the creek.
Excellent place for walk in trails, picnics and connect with the nature
A favorite place to camp. Quiet, clean, wooded. Good fishing.
Campsite was roomy, bathrooms and community showers were super clean. Everyone including other campers were very polite. Quiet time is from 10 - 7am but lots of campers were up well past 10. If your looking for a campground with lots to do, look elsewhere. Hiking and fishing are the only activities. They do have a small store where you can buy small things you may have forgotten.
Alot of the buildings are busted up and overgrown. But the creek is fun to play in and they have great hiking trails, frisbee golf, and a nice campground.
Awesome camping and trails for hiking! The camper and RV camping area seems pretty packed, at least both times in October that I've been. The tent camp sites, which is where we go, has other people camping, but not overly crowded. During the time haunted forest is open you can hear some of that, but it doesn't take away from the great sites and area!
If you’re a tent camper there is a great much lesser used section. Last time we were there something was going on late at or near Fort Knox until 1 am, but that’s not Otter Creeks fault.
We drove to the back of the park. Got there around 8am an we didn't see another person until just before we left at 2pm. It was fantastic. The creek was up from the rain the night before. We followed the creek for a good ways. 1 bend turned into 5 more. Saw some deer, lots of animal tracks. A few low flying helos excited the kids. An older couple was riding some horses down the trails, they stopped an let us say hello to the horses. They were very kind people an sweat natured animals. Had a nice time, Good time for sure.
Creek is deep enough at most parts to walk and still see the bottom and where you cant see the bottom it is great to swim. More people than I expected and if you really want a good time for just you and your family and/or friends then you should take one of the trails or sides of the creek farther down to less populated areas. A little bit of trash but not bad in the water
Great atmosphere. Reserved 3 nights and then wanted to add additional night and the staff were more then willing to work with us and find us a better site for our handicap child! We will definitely Be back!
The creek and landscapes are beautiful, and fishing was good. The campground is a mess, though. We stayed in a cabin--I expected it to be minimal (it was), but it was filthy and the window shades were all torn up. There was dirt and cigarette ashes on the table. Sticky spots on the floor.
The bathhouse was small, in poor repair, and had not been cleaned in recent history. Very dirty.
I don't expect much from a campground, but at $70/night, they should clean it a little, at least.
Hiking areas and the creek were nice, and beautiful in spots. If they could get their act together on facilities, it could be really great
Camp host is wonderful. She's a very sweet woman. The campground is excellent. we had a really great time and ended up extending our stay because of how wonderful it was.
Did some mountain biking there. Best map I found was at the entrance gate. Trails are well marked. The OCT (otter creek trail) gets the most traffic and is well kept up. Took a spur on the VOT (valley overlook trail) a good blue trail w some rock and tech not as popular not as worn down.
Very nice place to swim. The facilities at the campground (didnt camp, only changed in bathhouse) were lacking in what seemed to be normal maintenance and cleaning, but the grounds themselves were nice. Would rate 5 star if the 3 dollars per person went towards road and facility maintenance like they were intended to. Overall, very fun visit.
Love it!!! Camping for 2 weeks. Bathrooms and showers are beautifully clean. Campgrounds are wonderful! Although it has been raining A LOT and some spots are muddy...it is TOTALLY expected. Great campground host...super people.
Nice park. Lots of sites. Good location.
Always go and use their gun range. For $3 you can't beat the price. Take your own targets since it is an outdoor range. There is actually three ranges there, a pistol, a rifle and a bow range.
This place is amazing and beautiful! They have miles of hiking trails, horse trails and there are several places to fish. The Blue Hole is a beautiful spot to take a dip in the creek on a hot summer day, or to take your kayak out onto the creek. Otter Lake is also another great spot for fishing and swimming. The primitive campsites are spacious and cozy. The staff is amazing, and they truly go above and beyond for the guest. They have so many activities for the entire family. Last night they came around on a golf cart and invited all the guest to a movie and popcorn. I thought that was pretty cool!
The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars, was because the camp’s 10pm quiet time rule wasn’t respected by some folks. Both nights We were were kept awake until 5:30am and then 2am due to intoxicated people being loud and obnoxious. But Tracy and Kyle gave us a free night for the inconvenience, and they did everything in their power to make sure the problem was taken care of. And that was appreciated.
We will definitely be back, just not on a holiday weekend when people are drinking into the wee hours of the morning. But if you’ve not been to this place, I highly recommend going!! You will not be disappointed!!! We are already planning our next visit, and are looking forward to coming back.
~ Michele Taylor & Family
This campground and entire facility are fantastic! Rustic and everyone who likes nature will enjoy it.
Best camping experience I have had in a long time..
A great place to visit but it is getting pretty trashy around the creek area. Much better taken of years ago when metro parks ran it. Also the campground is not patrolled regularly by law enforcement so be prepared not to sleep a wink due to unruly campers in the middle off the night despite a 10pm noise curfew. this has happened the past two times...
My husband and I absolutely love this park. The staff is wonderful. The park offers so much. The trails are great for whatever level you are at. The creek is beautiful. Our favorite is the campgrounds. We highly recommend it!!!
Great trails and some really nice campsites. Poorly organized and located dump site.
Otter creek is a nice place to hang with the family. Swiming, fishing, cooking and relaxing plenty of shade. The only complaint is not enough picnic tables for the relaxing and could use more fire pits. They do charge 3 dollars per person so not asking to much for more tables and or siting.
This has been our go to place for camping for over 10 years! Staff is amazing and everything is clean! Such a beautiful place, home away from home.
We had a weekend family reunion. We utilize the cabins and campground area. This was an amazing place to bring your family. The children couldn't get enough of the creek or fishing. Some even went hiking. The staff was amazing in the planning because us city folks had a lot of questions. The family can't stop talking about how much fun we had and plan to return if they would have us. lol.
I didn't stay here but my parents did! They had a great experience and it's really inexpensive! They also just give you a code to get in if you are going to be a really late arrival. The only downside is they don't have wifi. Not such a big deal when you are out camping. They are encouraging to disconnect from technology which is not a bad idea!
Great little camp ground nice sites access to water not real far from camp ground
I took my two daughters camping there over the weekend and had a blast. The campsites were very spacious and clean. The workers are friendly. The moment we were leaving my kids said they couldn't wait to go back.
Beautiful area for hiking and fishing. Some gorgeous wildflowers to be found, and seems like some of the bird nerds weren't complaining too much either.
If you're looking for peace and quiet though, it may occasionally (or frequently depending on the day) be interrupted by fly overs from the local military base.
Beautiful place excellent for camping
Interesting place to visit, can get you close to the Ohio river, the railroad and has some awesome sites to see and explore, the entrance is very unique and make sure you have your camera ready to shoot. They offer cabins and are very deep in the woods. Great experience.
Nice outdoor adventure with the kids
Wish they had waste water hook ups or a drain service so you didnt have to move the rv everytime you needed to empty tanks. Other then that i would give 5 stars very clean and well kept very nice ppl working there and they will help you with any information they can. Spent some time there this last summer and now have a rv and plan on spending some time there cant wait.
Nice place to hike, fish or play in the water.
Trails were great if you are looking to be off the beaten path. Would've given them a 5 stars but the trails arent marked very well. Overall we had a great time
Went to the Nightmare Forest tonight and had a great time. The sets and actors were outstanding. Definitely recommend the express pass.
Parking area for horse trailers needs to be larger and offer tie areas.
Favorite fishing spot. The trails are amazing
I love a place with a good mystery, but in this case it also makes me very sad to see what the neglect of KY Fish and Wildlife has done to an otherwise very nice preserve. The roads are breaking down, there doesn't seem to be any protection for the buildings which are in advancing states of ruin. To cap it off, the Blue Hole is not an actual blue hole. I'm not sure if it was destroyed. I plan to come back, but I am sad and disappointed at the state of this park.
My family and I had lots of fun scouting out campsites for future camping trips, and hiking some trails. Can't wait to go back
I find it odd being surrounded by so much nature in kentucky & having to pay to explore it but in this case worth every penny. Swimming in the creek, hiking on the trail & letting my dog run along the banks of the Ohio made for a perfect day.
Needs more fishing options and roads fixed.
The park is great and widely varied. I was mostly disappointed in the shooting range. For rifles it is great but I will not go shoot my pistol there again. You are required to shoot from a bench through tubes that are positioned between the benches and targets. I get why they do this to prevent stray rounds from going to the side in case of an accident or negligent discharge.
Great outdoor area. We took our kids to the creek. We saw several families having picnics, some kayakers, several fisherman, and lots of kids playing in the creek. Wear water shoes in creek, it is really rocky. Leashed dogs welcomed.
Love visiting Otter Creek.. Stayed back on C loop quiet and peaceful.
1st time playing disc golf. The course was clean and well kept. So much fun!!! $3 for non-members, year long membership online.
Best place to camp. Very clean very respectful campground hot showers bathrooms water availability on the perimeter side. Handicap accessible
I've been visiting here for over 20 years, so many great memories and I'm still compiling them annually. The trails are excellent for running and hiking, the fishing is always catch!
Great camp to send your children to for a great summer for them and you!!
This park is great! One of the best ive been to. You have to pay to get in. Friendly staff, awesome views and great trails. Many to choose from: biking, hiking and horse trails. Pretty clean for a park. 2 restrooms and portajohns. Disc golf fields and nice campgrounds. If i had an rv i would stay as long as i could!
I love coming here with my family just to get away and walk and look at all of God's beautifulscenery
Nice disc golf course. The tee pads are old and small, and the baskets are not great, but we loved the layout!
It's a nice place to go camping you bring your golf cart good place for kids but they only drive I've got you can't have razors but the horses is running around with a razor
The best place for a baptism!! Love the creek..not too cold.
Affordable price for the whole family to enjoy.
What we get out of the park is what we put in to it. Ask your group to come out and Volunteer. With a large group, family or even by yourself take time to help clean up. Don't lose a valuable resource.
Decent place to ride horses, but it will cost you $10 per rider. Also, many of the intersection are not clearly marked. Had to turn around a few times to get back on the right track.
Amazing scenery and nature. 10 of 10
I had so much fun with my friends. Had a actual bathroom and shower area had electric which was awesome for charging phones. A well-kept place.
Gorgeous setting on the Ohio River. The Otter Creek Trail and Valley Overlook Trail area both great for trail running and hiking.
Went camping had a great time visited all trails found out why building are abandoned (sad) found a community that was abandoned 10 + structures. A fun cool interesting place to visit
This recreation area has miles of hiking, biking, horse back riding and other activities. The trails can be a little rugged. We have fished, kayacked, biked and had lunch in a hammock by the creek. On warm days exploring by overturning rocks almost always exposes some crawfish or other creatures. There are a few decent overlooks of the Ohio river. Don't miss Morgan's cave which is the beginning of a cool water spring. It runs strong after a good rain.
The haunted forest was awesome. 1 of the best haunted experiences in Louisville, KY.
If you enjoy the outdoors 😉 life, you can not go wrong at Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation , it's all in loving nature. There's trials everywhere and spots for fishing., …
nice place. not great if you plan on going deep into it if your car can't handle a small amount of offroading.. I did see a mustang there but it was a bit weathered.
Nice place. Delivered a trailer.
This place is beautiful and a wonderful place to go for fun with your family or with yourself for a lovely nature hike
Great place, clean, quiet, friendly, But they should post before you go in the gate that a big motorhome can hardly get in, and we could not get in the drive to the campground at all.
Great outdoor area. Not many picnic tables that I saw. Little pricey at $3/person. Maybe need a “carload” price for large families.
This was a very clean and fresh camp ground. Offers camping for tents, campers, large motor homes. Swings for all. Lots of trails, love the forest the change in seasons was wonderful.
I love this park however note what days it’s closed!
A lot of the old buildings have been left in disrepair and that is sad. However the trail system is as healthy as ever and well marked.
Beautiful reserve, also home to an amazing 27 hole disc golf course. At only $3.00 a person you can't get anything better
Had a great day fly fishing. Caught over a dozen trout. Looks like some nice hiking trails I will need to try out when I go back.
Lots of trails, but campground needs a lot of updates and repair.
Compared to the states other campgrounds Otter Creek on a scale of 1-10 ten being the best OC campground is 3.
Very nice since they reopened a few years ago. But theres barely any camping thats not right on top of everyone. Its more like a camping motel. And the fishing is garbage, so sont bother
Nice place to swim or float on tubes. The water was very clear. A lit cleaner that rough river. Go to blue hole. The water is deep and pretty calm there.
Enjoyed trail running during the annual Ragnar Kentuckiana race along the Otter Creek and Valley Overlook Trails. All other amenities were not visited.
Facility was ok, sites a bit rustic/ not too level. Bathrooms need some repair. Campground host was not very pleasant and not too happy to accommodate.
Love, love, love this place. Great campgrounds and awesome people. Good family fun. Short hike to the creek which is always fun
Haven't really used the facilities here except for the shooting range. Great place to shoot and usually not very busy. The only drawback is you have to shoot through the tubes.
One of the most beautiful places if not the most beautiful place in Kentucky. Best of all worlds, hiking, scenery, wildlife, and and wonderful trails for mountain biking. Give it 5 stars.
Plenty to do, cheap entry price, clean and fun
Awesome camping grounds
Love coming here to enjoy nature and attend great events!
Great place to spend a day and fish!
Love, love, love the scenery here! The disc golf course is good too. Lots of places to explore and have fun!
Great visit, granddaughter took a tumble on the trail going to Morgans Cave. Need rails on both sides of the steps
Love this place! My family and I love hiking the trails and spending the day in and around the creek . Great place to camp as well!
Great place 22 dollars for cabin without anything but roof and bunk beds we went during March raining cold but it was nice we had a blast.
If you go to the nightmare forest it's great I went here and the actors where great they trapped kids and let them escape and they have it set up really well I'll go there every year but I do recommend to get the speed pass it takes a long time to wait in line and it's only 10 extra dollars and no one usually buys the speed pass
A great experience as always I just wish they had more water/electric sites.
Otter Creek is a great place to go and get away from it all. Very quiet, plenty of trails to walk and some great views.
Awesome place to hike...many different options on trails.
Very nice campsite. This place is huge. Will come back!
Great experience! Friendly, great camp site, and quiet (early in the camping season)
It was very nice and enjoyed it enough that am going back there on site D36 June 11-13
Loved it nice spacious sites nice people
Deer camp at camp piomingo, always a winner.
I wish they had the funding to go and treat all of the trees dying to the fungus there...it's completely reshaping the park.
Nice liked it I went out there on Saturday and checked it out and came back Monday wanted to fish and it's closed on Monday and Tuesday
Great camping here, lots of trees and wild life running about, campers are friendly.
We was there for nightmare Forrest and it was very good but the line was very long and the wait was terrible but the funnel cakes were good
Had so much fun there. We went for their Halloween party. So many people decorated their sites. Excellent
Water was a little low when I was there but did see a couple of nice trout pulled out of the deeper holes. Beautiful place.
We are happy that the host Alice is back we love camping out at Otter Creek
It's a great place to have some family fun you can fish swim hike camp you name it more than likely you can do it here.
Nightmare Forest fun, creepy costumes, scary themes, and fog machines. The kids had fun and said they would like to go again.
Great place to go hiking. The map of trails they give you on the way in could be a little less confusing though
Awesome camping fishing and Disc golf.
This place is kept up beautifully and trails are never insanely busy.
Great place for hunting. $3 day pass, $30 year pass. 3D archery course is cool. Lots of deer.
They have done some amazing things around here, new camp store, and the amenities are useable and clean for a campsite.
This place was so beautiful and breathtaking!.. we saw wildlife like never before.
It was awesome had a great time.
Fabulous place. Wonderful spot to fly fish for trout in the cold months and typical warm water species in the summer.
Great place to spend a weekend and get in touch with nature. Not to mention got to see some family while I was there.
This park has great trails for walking and mountain biking from my experience. Everything is well maintained and peaceful.
my 9 year old LOVED his first year of camp here. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Beautiful Place... Run! go now! Bask in the peacefulness...
Good place to hike and camp, but I was disappointed that the road to the scenic view point of the river was closed. Hopefully not permanently.
All good
This is the best family place to go too my son loves it and ny husband can fish its perfect everyone can do what they like... The only thing thats bad about it is the porter potties....
Great trails and many outdoor things to do here. Make sure you get a map at the front gate when you first arrive!
The otter creek trail is extremely overgrown but there are some cool things to check out in the area.
Just participated in the Ragnar Trail run here and had the most amazing time. Beautiful park
Played 23 holes of disc golf today ! Had a blast! Love this course!
Great place for camping hiking horse back riding and other out door stuff
Nightmare Forest is a great thing for the children. Just remember to wear some sensible shoes so you won't trip
Really enjoyed exploring here and reminiscing about years gone by. Used to come here often! Still a great place!
Awesome park and the campground hosts was absolutely terrific
Great place for outdoor recreation. Lots of trails that are in good shape.
great and family friendly ❤ love the Halloween event and golf cart show
We have a great time every time we go camping here. Staff is accommodating and friendly.
Big park with nice Campground. Will reevaluate after our camping trip.
Favorite place to hike around the area, always so.ething new in the scene!
Deep into the woods, awesome Halloween gathering, nice place to relax.
Absolutely beautiful.
Just wish more people would take back out (there trash) what they carried in the park.
Very nice and a great place for a little get away with the family
Very calm and relaxing
This place is beautiful. Plenty of hiking, camping, and the Field of Screams is great!
Disc golf course is Excellent, Great course for the family, New and seasoned players. Love it!!!
Very cool place to go. Lots of fun and management is very friendly.
Beautiful place to camp with the family. Seems to draw mostly local campers.
Enjoyed seeing it, and we intend to camp there this season
Loved the horse riding trails will be going back soon
Beautiful place. It's over grown and let go. Sad!
It's a nice park that has lots of good trails.
Love this place..I was shocked hasn't much changed since I was little..
I haven't been here in six years. It was a very nice place to run trails.
Incredible place, very nice trails and a clean creek to play in
Great place!! Gets better every time we camp there!!
So far so good camping was a little cool last night
So much fun for the whole family. Nice getaway to unplug and enjoy the outdoors
We love pleading at the creek.
Excellent staff and facility catering to outdoor enthusiasts with everything from hiking to hunting to camping.
Went to the range with my son. Place could use a little TLC, but overall good experience.
Nice change of pace
Beautiful area. Dropped daughter off at Camp Piomingo.
GREAT place to just get away !
Very friendly !
I've loved this campground since I was a kid. Still great!
It was fun but very dangerous when going swimming
Water was perfect for the kids. Brought River tubes. Had a blast
Good walking trails and camping spots. Bring your camera. Horses welcome.
I had no idea this place was here. I love it, the kids got in the water and it was great!😍 …
It was amazing. Great place to just get away from the city
So beautiful and the youth camp staff was super excited and friendly!!!
Shooting range is only 100 yards but is a nice clean place
Great place to take the kids to have fun outdoors
Nice, rolling, winding trails with an extraordinary view of a bend in the Ohio River
This park is very pretty. I am going to buy a yearly pass.
Wonderful campsite! Very clean bathrooms and constant security.
Clean and family friendly
It looks nice every where and nightmare forest is there
Great place to camp, fish, and kayak.
Loved it
Such a beautiful park
Frisbee Golf, trails, caves and much more
Love the place. Great place for hiking and mountain biking.
