My husband and I were searching for something fun to do while we waited for our dinner date, this did it for us! We did not expect anything we did! Hans was our tour guys, he helped loosen us up for the full experience, had us acting silly, dance, use our noggins. He informed us of all the artist and explained how we join into the art work. I would definitely recommend. Maybe even like a cute first date spot, break the ice activity! I loved the ending, where you learn about your color too!

This was an incredible experience! I highly recommend just being present and taking everything in! My husband and I had so much fun and just let ourselves be kids and not take ourselves seriously! I'm so glad he surprised me taking me here! I feel like this is a place for everyone to just let go and wild out! Every sense is in use here! From sight, touch, hearing, smell! Just see for yourself! You definitely won't regret it! The bonus was the staff! They were dope and knowledgeable about every experience! Can't wait to go back!

I had no idea what to expect when I went to this experience. But I booked for myself and 3 other friends anyway. Our guide, Alex was incredible and somehow the perfect guide for our group. We were all super nervous at first but as we went through the experience we felt more and more incredible. I won’t add too much detail so I don’t spoil for anyone else, but definitely book this experience. 10/10

First time coming to Flutter LA after I saw an ad on Instagram. Flutter LA did not disappoint! Our host was Galloway, and he began the tour immediately. Every room was interactive and Galloway explained the art behind each room and who made it. I was very happy that I was not in a group with other strangers! My group was my mother and I only which made it very personal. A new experience you’d definitely want to have especially if you’re in LA. I did wish I would have taken more pictures though! Besides that everything was dope.

Took granddaughters (8 & 5). They had a blast - I didn't tell them anything about it until we arrived. Overall it was a great experience. Very clean and safe. I did look at the video and had a few disappointments. The rooms do change, so you may not see what's shown. Some if the rooms are small (you are in each room with just your party). In the "disco/make-up" room it was very small and we were thinking after you put on your make-up you would go into another room for music and pictures - nope. But again, overall it was a great experience. Our guide was very nice and interacted with the girls.

I've been going to a few immersive experiences in la and so far this is my favorite. I'm going to forget the name but I believe Galloway was his name, sorry if I got it wrong 🤦🏽 but our guide with a famous painters name was amazing. He gave me all the details and all the insights to each room, appericate him and the fun he brought, also to the lady with the Australian accent I forgot her name but she was so sweet in the front! Great job u guys

This was SO cool. My sister and nephew took me for my birthday. We had no idea what we would experience - that was definitely part of the fun. To be surprised in each section. We got lucky - no one else booked for our time, so we had our guide to ourselves. Galloway is THE BEST! What a great sense of humor, and the perfect balance of guiding us and letting us enjoy on our own. Not to spoil anything, but "the scream" at the beginning felt SO good. I definitely recommend this, especially for small groups of close friends.

My husband and I had a lot of fun here. The various rooms each had a different type of game or project, and our guide Galloway did a marvelous job of explaining the objective of each one. There is also an overall theme of relaxation and letting go. In fact, you probably won't like it if you can't relax and be a little bit silly. But I highly recommend that you go with the flow, be who you are, and enjoy the adventure. If you can do that, you'll have a blast!

Definitely not for all, if you don't fully know what you're getting into. My husband and I had fun! Getting to see what artists chose to share, and getting to talk about how we interpreted it was a cool experience. Having maybe one more room to create our own things would have been even better, but it was a nice was to spend some time in the evening. Five stars for our guide, Galloway, who was fun, warm, and engaging. We never felt rushed, or like we were supposed to "get" everything.

Flutter is a interactive exhibit in which you can submerge yourself. I only gave it 4 stars, because I wish the exhibit had been larger. There are mirrored rooms with mylar, furry rooms you can touch, and rooms you can sit and chill out. My favorite room has projectors and plays music to videos of oceans, trees and other calming images. Overall, it was a place to turn off your brain.

This was such a great experience! I surprised my friend, who is an artist herself, and we had so much fun! We definitely tapped into our inner child to play. It was interesting to know about the various artists and what each room represented. The activities were the best. Our tour guide Hans was knowledgeable and it was an interactive experience. This was such an incredible experience that puts you into another world. We went together as a family, my husband, my son who is 20, and my 13 year old daughter and we all loved it. If you consider yourself an artist or not, you will enjoy every minute of this. It truly is an immersive experience!!

The rooms were different and colorful for amazing pic ops. Some of the rooms with black lights were a little hard to get pics, so be careful to know your night settings or look up some tips for glow in the dark rooms before hand because you only get a certain amount of time in the rooms which you wouldn’t want to waste on fixing settings. Other than that, our Guide Sarah had great energy, she was patient, and had a good amount of knowledge of the rooms. She gave us as much tips as she could for taking pics and getting the most out of each art exhibition. Grateful for the experience!

This is a place set apart from other museums and interactive art spaces I have been to. I have enjoyed places like Meow. Wolf in all of their locations but Flutter truly integrates the guest into art with action. I went with a first date and it was a wonderful way to connect and be playful and think about art by becoming a part of it. I appreciate the tour guides who tell you about the artist and the art. I appreciate the experience of touching in with your feelings and allowing vulnerability. I want to take more friends here to check it out. Thanks Flutter!

When I initially saw the advertisement for this event, I knew it was something I wanted to do. It was everything I expected and more. Trying to explain it to someone gets confusing. Just go!! Our personal guide Tori was so sweet and so funny. We had a great time anyway but Tori made the experience even more fun. She also took the best pictures! I’d definitively recommend going ❤️

It is my birthday 🎉🥳 today first and foremost so I went to flutter to celebrate in a unique way with colors, art and technology based on their Facebook ad and it was fluttering and amazing experience, we had this really wonderful staff who guided and made the experience more fun, we did everything following CDC rules with facemasks, gloves and sanitizer in every room . More of a modern art installation than a place that celebrates play. Mostly subdued musically; I would have liked a dance beat throughout. Be sure to visit with playful friends, otherwise you will be bored. You'll be through the whole place in just over an hour. Best was the last few minutes of a musical video game where animated avatars follow you around.

We had such a great time and I would love to come back with more people! The person showing us around was lovely, and she was very welcoming. The whole experience took about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and I wish it was longer! Some of the artworks where soooo calming and I could almost fall asleep. Had such a great time(YOU SHOULD DEFINITLY TRY)!!!!

FLUTTER Experience was such a unique experience, and their mission is worth paying attention to - they partnered with Born This Way Foundation, who advise them on mental health and youth engagement issues. Their staff is super nice, and explained the meaning of each room to us. Worth a visit! We parked on the street, right in front of the exhibit.

Fun place! All the rooms had interactive aspects which was so fun! People there were also really nice and explained each room well! Our tour guide, Brian, was also really nice. Promptly asking us questions about how we felt during each room. This made the experience much more interactive and really let you feel each artwork. Did I mention everyone there was nice? They are!

This was so much fun! I went with my boyfriend and had no idea what to expect. Each room was composed by an artist, so I loved being totally immersed in their creation (I LOVE art!). Our guides would prompt us with questions or activities to engage with the room, then explain the artist’s concept. Every room had an intention and the order was carefully curated to create not only a rich experience in each room, but throughout the entire experience. I loved how it encouraged me to think and feel and reflect. I was looking for something to immerse me in play and connect me to my creativity, and this was perfection; I left feeling very rejuvenated and inspired. They also have a gift shop at the end with unique items from throughout the experience - I can’t wait to keep playing with the neon face paint!

This was a very cool & interactive experience, unlike some of the other immersive experiences I’ve attended, this one is guided which made things more interesting. My only complaint is the air conditioning situation, some of the rooms got a bit hot. Claire was our guide and she was fun and added a lot to the tour!

I'm a research scientist by trade, I work long weeks, and this last one was on the rougher side so late Sunday I just googled "Museums that are open now" and Flutter Experience caught my eye. I dismissed it at first and was even more dismayed by the idea that guides would be around to walk you through (I'm fiercely independent). I decided not to go but as I left the lab, I saw the day passing with nothing meaningful planned. On my way home I broke through the complacency, fished out the address and bought a ticket for the 6:20 slot. I didn't know what to expect frankly, there was a little yellow chair, and a lovely ceramic table and umbrella which was thoughtful. The door was locked and when I called someone said they'd be right there. A very friendly fellow greeted me at the door and walked me through the welcome ritual (which I'll omit for you to experience for yourself). I was handed off to another guide named Claire who walked me through fourteen creative, thought-provoking rooms, each with an activity, some light-hearted, others...well like I said it was a rough week and those other rooms were a safe space to unpack some things. The order in which rooms are placed within the experience were well devised, as it prevented going down any one mental road for too long. It'll take me a couple of days to truly distill the experiences I had almost an hour ago. I learned a lot about myself, how I perceive things, and how my interpretation was one among many that, for some reason, I chose to be reality. They advertise fourteen experiences but that's perhaps the one thing that is inaccurate. Yes, there are fourteen rooms, but there was also the tour guide, Claire. She shared some of her experiences as well which was a helpful juxtaposition to my own. She also guided me through each room with a feather light touch, not too over the top as to drive me away but also not so aloof to not have genuine human moments. As guarded as I am, I do take a genuine interest in people and so her playful attitude and genuine demeanor really helped me be open and honest. At some point when we were coloring I felt transported back to grade school and I'd just met a new friend in class. When it was all over, she kindly opened the door for me and day was already turning to night. One of my enduring memories of this experience is her smiling with the door leading to an outside world shrouded in dusk. I'm so glad I turned around and visited after all. My advice for anyone wanting to enjoy this experience to the fullest; walk in with open mind and an open heart. Without those, you'll have a good experience, with those it'll be exceptional. And on a general note, please get out more! There are so many sublime things to see and experience out there. You'll never be regret checking something out over going home earlier (but so often the opposite). Who knows, you may end up painting your face to look like a war-mongering alien (as part of Earth's intrepid resistance) and scaring your gracious guide because your disguise was so convincing!

Had an amazing experience with my bestfriends and their little girls. It was a great way to de-stress and bring back some self-love into our lives. Each room was super interesting with what we could do, to what we can find. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to step into a world of creativity and love. Our astonishing tour guide Sky ( I believe was her name) had an awe-inspiring sense of positive energy and was very enthusiastic to take us on our journey. Plus took some perfect pictures and videos on our phones for us to really enjoy the moment together and be in the frame together as well. All in all.. it's all positive vibes and I was very happy with the experience.

Don't get me wrong this place is super cool. If it was less crowded. It was a great time but having a lot of people or large groups of superficial people within the same small room as us made me pretty claustrophobic, and I don't normally get that way. It's suppose to be a nice, relaxing, mental health supportive art place... that is overcrowded and full of stressed out workers. Musics nice though, if you can hear it.

Chris is the Owner and has a fun operation running here!!! Chris and Hans and all the other staff made this experience so much more than we imagined! I brought my 5yo who had a blast!! I’ll be coming back with my adult friends! My favorite room was the sound bath healing room. I also had my aura read which was so insightful. There is a meditation room and on and on so much to do. All the staff are so great! We did so many fun art activities. Every room is so well put together and such great coordination. I’ll be back 👏🏼

We went today and loved it. It's not just "immersive," It's genuinely participatory in the best possible way. Where most exhibits put the attention on the art or the artist, this one keeps the attention on the visitor. The series of rooms by different artists create a cohesive theme that gets revealed gradually over time. Leaves you changed for the better. Highly recommended. We'll be bringing groups here in the future.

This was beyond my expectations. The guide was fantastic and helped us to truly immerse ourselves in the experience. We had a vaccination record problem and they let us resolve it and just moved our time to later. They could not have been more accommodating for us. I highly recommend this experience. I took my 12 and 14 year old daughters and they had a great time and loved posting all the pictures they took during the experience. Totally worth it!

Flutter was a great experience! I went with my family last night and we loved it. I know I loved it because I love art and I’m just a free spirit who loves to have fun. The fact we could act like kids was pure fun. Since I’m no longer in high school and have to face the ugliness of life it was nice to be a kid again. I wasn’t focused on doing any of the activities perfectly just having fun, and talking with my family was enough. I really love how Chris examples the rooms and just gave us an opportunity to be a kid again! He was super nice and you could tell he put his heart and soul into this. The bad reviews I see which aren’t a lot make no sense lol. If you love art and like looking at things in a different light this place IS FOR YOU!

I have to say this was such an amazing experience, I didn’t really know what to expect. I personally thought it would be your typical selfie museum but it actually ended up being a mindful and very inner child friendly place. I played, I screamed! Lol and I giggled. My son & I went to Flutter yesterday afternoon & had a great time! The staff were very nice, engaging & informative about the different amazingly talented artists featured. Our favorite was the Tranquility room. So beautiful & peaceful. My only complaint was that we didn't get to spend much time in each of the rooms, as the guides kept moving us along to the next one before we had finished the activity we were doing. Would have been great if we could hang out in each room longer, or be able to go back & re-visit them after the guided tour ended. Definitely a fun experience though!

The private touring with explanations of each artist and intention, the rooms, the smells, the sounds— the whole experience was such a relief and escape from everything on the outside. For my daughters 10th birthday I booked a private tour for six at the Flutter experience. The price is great for privacy, guided informative tour and the experience. You have to call a number when you arrive, to be let in. There’s art right when you walk in! The kids loved it, as did the adults. Our guide was lovely. She took the time to explain the artist’s visions and gave us all the time we wanted in each room. I recommend this place for anyone!!! Book a tour and have fun. You won’t regret it.

Free Admission!! I love everything about it except the wait (and the crowd). I really wished they had better system for the museum admission and the admission for the infinity mirrored room. I know we are the crazy ones who waited voluntarily, but I meant, it just wasn't necessary to have people lining up in the cold for 2-3 hours.

Zaire was our guide and she made this already amazing space even better. She took time to explain each room, allowed us to take our time, talked with us about our experience with the art, and offered to take pictures and videos. It's especially fun with your loved one(s) and you'll easily be occupied for over an hour 1-1.5 hours. With guests coming to town, Covid keeping certain places closed, and a hot day that required an indoor activity, I was looking for something to do that would cool, safe and fun. Wonderful and fun! My wife and I went there for a date and had a great time. I loved that each room engaged all the senses and encouraged interaction. We got lots of awesome pictures there! The staff were helpful and explained the ideas behind each room to us. I also appreciated that they scheduled visits so there were never too many people at a time. There are lots of restaurants on nearby Melrose and La Brea, so our visit was easy to combine with lunch or dinner.

ADORE just about everything about this art museum. It's beautiful, magical, quirky, and fun. There were enough rooms to enjoy. Only one room really creeped me out - the room with dead (slightly bloody) dolls laying all over the floor. I got out of there fast! But everything else was really interactive and spectacular. One other small complaint was the wait time to get in (even though we had tickets for a specific time) and the staff was NO friendly. It could have just been the individuals on that particular day, but they were stuck up. Altogether, totally worth the money and I would go again and again.

I’ve been meaning to write this review since I went in July—an absolutely transportive and ineffably delightful experience! Being able to really dig-in and interact with each composition was a truly wonderful combination of inner-child fun and intellectual stimulation. I went for my birthday with a couple of friends, and 3 1/2 hours flew by. Each artist’s creative voice left a meaningful memory etched in my mind. I would love to take it all in again. From the enthusiastic guides, to chatting with the owner who envisioned this beacon of joy, to the experience itself, I just can’t recommend it highly enough; it’s definitely a must in my book!

This was an extremely fun family day. Each room was unique, interactive and therapeutic. They limit the amount of guests so it was not crowded and we were able to enjoy each room. The kids were able to go back and visit their favorite rooms 2-3 additional times. We spent about an hour touring and will definitely come back again as we were informed the exhibits change.

Wonderful! Spent a joyous Sunday morning playing and laughing with my husband in each of the nine rooms. From sitting quietly coloring printed pages to sitting in a bathtub full of rubber ducks to dancing around in a mirrored room, we had a fabulous time. Our favorite was the room lined with reflective silver mylar balloons listening to a gentle stream while a giant eyeball watched us from a screen. Sounds weird but it was actually very peaceful and relaxing! Thank you so much for putting together this wonderful playhouse and can't wait to be back in a few months for a whole new experience! Go early so you can take your time and bring your cameras!

Visited Los Angeles for a weekend. I think it’s a bit expensive for what it is. Maybe $30 would be better. It was enjoyable and there were some good rooms to take social media pictures for. Lasted about an hour, but we were the first ones in so I didn’t feel rushed at all. The employee tour guide person was friendly as well.

FB suggested me to check out this place. I just quickly picked on the Instagram pics to realize that was something I would enjoy. The rooms are all very well designed by artists making the experience like an interactive experience in a contemporary museum. The place wasn’t overcrowded when we went so we had time to spend and experience all the rooms, the guides gently guided and explained the artists' intent and what was allowed to do in each rooms. I was excited to hear that this is a permanent interactive place where they will offer different experiences. A must go for everyone who loves contemporary art.

Flutter is not just a leap into an ethereal dream playground, it’s an escape for the soul - an oasis of calming sound and light in the midst of the traffic and siren screams of the city. Interactive art installation to inspire and promote positivity. Every artist bright a different angle to the theme. Some areas you just let the art flow over you, others you become part of the piece. I liked the music video room with LA views in the background. The staff was very informative and guided crowds through the installation with ease. Such a different way to experience art.

Unlike any museum I’ve been too, flutter encourages you to let your imagination run wild and free. I have a few favorite installations but there’s one called Illusion that blew my mind. Interactive and relaxing all in one spot! I could have spent hours at this gallery! Flutter brings out the artist in you!

This was such a fun find! The show consists of several roons, each designed by a different artist. Each room is in some way interactive - one has a VR video, another has neon face paint, another has velcro shapes to move around... It was a really fun time. My boyfriend and I took his parents there when they visited LA a couple weeks ago and it created some good memories.

This is a fun interactive museum that features a combination of projections and motion tracking. Most of their exhibits can be touched, and some, even altered. My favorite room is the one in the far back that has the wide screen projection image with the 4 pillars of lamps illuminating the raised stage. That one my friend and i played with a lot. It takes a little bit for the images in the background to cycle, so if you missed a particular visual, you dont have to wait that long for it to reset. The music in that room is pretty calming, too so you can relax while you wait. In your visit, be prepared to come in with socks or shoe covers. This is how they are able to keep their show floor clean and without any marks or smudges. Unfortunately, being bare foot isnt an option, but for the most part, it didnt hinder our experience. They have a shoe rack on the side to leave your shoes at. Also, if you plan to take pictures at the entrace or some video, it looks like a light hallway, so i best suggest coming in later in the night so you get the full spectrum of colors from what looks like a runway through the glass display. Overall, my model and i had a great time. There was a lot of street parking, and because we came in a little later in the day, the meters were already expired or offline, but during the weekends its not so busy, and youre able to pretty much have the room to yourself. Just be mindful about the other visitors if youre in the same room for an extended amount of time.
