Arkansas armory has a great staff who are very knowledgeable. I’ve used the range as well as bought several items from them. They take range safety seriously which is a necessity when you get different people with varying skill levels shooting together. I can’t recommend them enough.

I just completed my enhanced conceal carry class, and the instructor/owner, Nathan, was engaging and made a 6 hour class seem like only a few hours. This is, hands down, the friendliest range I've ever visited. Everybody was so nice and accommodating. You never know what you're going to experience visiting a range when traveling, but this place was the best. Zero political talk, no intimidation, just friendly service. Their rental policy is very generous! You only pay by ammo and can switch guns as much as you'd like without additional charge. So cool!

We live nearby here. The range is clean and safe. The staff are kind and friendly. I recently took the concealed carry class, and Nathan, the owner, was my instructor. He was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Most of the class ended up being q&a and talking through real life scenarios. The 5 hours on a Saturday blew by because it was so interesting and useful. Jess, one of the managers, was really helpful when my husband and I were renting several guns narrowing down what would be best for an everyday carry pistol. She even went on the range with us and taught us proper technique since we're both newer to pistols. I am so thankful to have this place as a local resource and see my family spending a lot of time here.

I have never had a bad experience here! All staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. I took my CCW class here and felt comfortable and prepared. Their indoor range is great. I have always found reasonable prices on the items I purchased here. Unfortunately, supply chains are terrible all over so if they don't have what you are looking for, blame the world, not the folks at the Armory.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Arkansas Armory Inc. First off they are a family owned business which I didn't know when I signed up for class but I'm so glad to give them my money then some big corporation. Second off they provide donuts and a few snack options plus coffe. They also allow you to get drinks out of there cooler free of charge for there concealed carry class. I would assume they do this with all of the classes they offer. I took there concealed carry class on July 16th. They had about 16-17 people that signed up. Mr. Cwoett was our instructor and he made sure to make the class fun but also teach us what we needed to know. He was able to answer all out questions and was very knowledgeable. He allowed us to step out of we needed to take phone calls or use the restroom. Hi explained to him I had 2 younge boys and I was wondering if they offered any kid classes. He explain why they don't do them anymore but offered to give me some items that might help when explaining gun safety. We ended 15 minutes early and were allowed to shoot in the rage free the remainder of the day. Due to how highly he spoke about the USCCA I signed up for there membership as well. I have already planned to go back and take the next level course. Plus I plan to only use there rage for now on. Thank yall for such a great experience.

I went in looking for a firearm just to protect myself. I wanted to take the class but it was full for the month. The staff was very nice and helpful. They ended up calling me the next day and informing someone cancelled and I could take the class that evening! Everything was simple and someone was there to help in each step. Justin was my instructor to get my license and he was hilarious!!!! He made the class worth it with the laughs and definitely real life situations you could encounter. This was my first firearm purchase and I was so scared. Literally hands shaking and super nervous. This place and the amazing staff made me feel comfortable, calm, and more confident about my purchase. Now I’m looking for the perfect day to make my training day weekly here ☺️

Arkansas Armory is my go-to gun store and indoor range. I don’t get to go there as often as I’d like because I live about 60+ miles to the southeast. My wife and other friends have used the range many times and the visits have always been a positive and enjoyable experience. I have attend several classes, renewed and upgraded carry licenses and purchased firearms & accessories there. The staff has always been great.

The people working there were nice and very helpful. I took a concealed carry class and the instructor was great. The 5 hours I was there were very well spent. It didn't feel like 5 hours. I learned a lot. The instructor didn't bore you to death with a bunch of wasted nonsense. The information was good useful information. I’ve used their range a half a dozen or so times, it’s always clean and maintained. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. It’s great to have a local indoor range. I’ve also purchased at least one firearm from them and the whole process was pain free. Nathan is always innovating with great tools like the silencerco kiosk or the digital fingerprint scanner.

I’ve bought countless firearms from them and took my CHCL course with them. Whenever I need something firearms related I head there first. Nathan, Angie, and their entire crew are awesome, knowledgeable folks who treat you with respect every single time you walk through the door. Nathan is also well informed of new/potential changes in laws and regulations and provides valuable insight on their social media. It’s nice to have a shop that strives to be not only a point of sale, but a resource to firearms owners as well. Nathan House runs an incredible place there! Sitting through the multiple hours of the CHL course was a breeze. And then, after teaching for 5 hours straight, Nathan stayed through his lunch and helped me pick out a handgun that I would like. This is a fantastic range and gun shop. The people are friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful. The range is always spotless, as is the storefront. Tons of rental firearms & suppressors for a fair price. The instructors are intelligent, experienced, and patient; I'd have no worries sending a new shooter there for instruction or an honest gun buying experience (and I have, many times). Range dog is also on point.

It's rare you find a business that is as dedicated to its customers as Arkansas Armory. The staff is top notch and everyone is trained with safety being their number 1 priority. They won't try to sell you something if they don't believe it's what you want or need. The facilities are always clean, and in order, and while we may be in a shortage right now, they typically have a decent stock for a small business. I've walked in and handled firearms that I could only dream of holding.

Love this range. My wife and I often go on Tuesday's which is couples day. We both get to shoot for the price of one. However, that is not the best thing about this range.The people are super friendly and very knowledgeable. They also seem glad to have you there as customers. I completed the Arkansas Enhanced Concealed Carry course today. 6+ hour class and a shooting requirement under timed conditions at 3, 7 & 15 yard distances. I did well, even under a little pressure. Nathan’s training was well organized, informative, educational and defense attorney John Collins was both very enlightening and entertaining. I highly, highly recommend!!!

I first wrote this review over a year ago. I gave it 5 stars, and was very complimentary of the range and the store. Well, the more I have visited there, the better I have loved the place. I have been in a lot of gun stores in the area, and never have I found one where the staff was as friendly and courteous as this one. Without exception, they are all nice folks. Some indoor ranges smell harshly of gunpowder. The range at Arkansas Armory apparently has equipment that keeps the air generally fresh. The equipment is kept in great working order. If you have any problem, the managers, Nathan and Angie House will bend over backwards to try to resolve it. They also offer concealed carry and other types of classes on gun use. Overall, you will have a better experience here than any of the big stores.

When I couldn’t find an accessory I wanted. The staff assisted me in finding at another online dealer so I could get what I needed. Let me say that again.... when they didn’t have what I wanted, they took time to assist me in buying it somewhere else.... just because that is the kind of customer service they offer! My brother and I visited your facility for the very first time on 4 June 2020. We were both very impressed and pleased with all the staff with whom we interacted, both in the retail section and the range section. You were all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. As it was a Thursday, it was also a rifle day, and still we had a wait for the range of only an hour to try out my newly purchased EC9s. The only complaint I have is that it turns out that I’m a terrible shot. Only 58% that I’d consider really good shots.😐 But, I’m guessing that’s not entirely your fault!😂 Thank you all for an enjoyable experience! We’ll be back soon. I have taken all three of my handgun classes with Arkansas Armory (Handgun 101, Concealed Carry, and Enhanced Concealed Carry). The owner, Nathan House, and staff members (Justin, and Brekka), are awesome and really offer a genuine sense of care for your personal knowledge of gun safety, concealment laws, and even willingness to help with marksmanship. They took care of all the required paperwork and fingerprinting needs with the state police. The bottom line is that I feel welcomed and supported. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them at all. Great place!

Highly recommend. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and safety is their number one concern. I love going there to shoot year round thanks to their climate controlled facility. One of the best things I like about it is you can go there, shoot anything they have in the case and try out just about any caliber you're interested in without having to buy and gun, hate it, etc. Cannot beat the price too. It's our date night/day location!! :) Keep doing what you're doing!!

This range has the friendliest and most professional staff of any range I have been to. They cater to all levels of shooters from people who have never fired a weapon to people who have been shooting for many years. They have a true desire to help people who are new to shooting without sounding condescending. The friendly sales team has a vast knowledge of the products they are selling and are never pushy. On slow days the staff will give you tips and pointers on the range if you ask. If you are in the area I highly recommend you stop in for a visit. You will not be disappointed!

Easily my favorite gun store/shooting range in Central Arkansas. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. When I first came in I was brand new to the shooting world and I had questions. I was never made to feel stupid because I was unsure of certain things, which I cannot say of other businesses. Trying to find a place to park can often be difficult, but that's no fault of the business itself. Their parking lot is small and cannot be expanded due to neighboring businesses. The store is always clean and the range is well maintained. The wait time to get on the range can be lengthy, but I tend to go on Saturday afternoons which seems to be one of their busiest times. They have a very nice selection of rental guns if you don't have your own, or maybe you're like me and just want to try out something different. The retail portion of the store is nice and well organized. They have a wide selection of guns available for purchase, and their prices are competitive. Things like ammo will be more expensive here than at places like Walmart, but who would you rather support? Personally, I'm going for the family owned business that has provided me many a fun afternoon on the range. Overall, Arkansas Armory is a family friendly store and a great place to go shoot. I recommend them to anyone, especially to new shooters.

Living in the area I was very excited to hear we were getting a new range in the area! I followed the construction very closely and couldn't wait for the first day of business! I am very glad to say after several visits with my wife once with my 3yr old these guys never fail to impress! Very helpful competitive pricing and well informed employees! I recommend the store to everyone I know looking for a weapon or looking for a place to shoot! As for the range its amazing much better than EVERYTHING else in the area! Fresh air ventilation from behind the shooting line flowing down range, adjustable lighting, staff was quick to sweep brass from the floor into a collecting box in the floor and was helpful with any concerns! As for my wife and I we will be shooting at Arkansas Armory EVERY chance we get!

Arkansas Armory is the gold standard range in Central Arkansas. Great service, very reasonably priced, and great facilities. A very good firearm and ammo selection when people are not panic buying or there isn’t a national shortage from a big government buy. They have accessories and cleaning supplies. Anything you need when you go to pew pew practice. The range itself is well kept and what you need for an acceptable training session. If you live in Central Arkansas, there is no other place to go.

PM'd to inquire about CCL renewal and was promptly answered 5 min after the store was open. Called to see if it was busy yesterday so I could go get it done. Told me to come on in and they'd get me taken care of.Got to the store and was promptly greeted and was taken straight to the computer and filled out all required info. Waited 5-10 min to go in with an instructor to watch me shoot and qualify me. Came out, they took a pic of me with my target, paid my fee and I was done. Even with the wait, I was in and out in 30 min. Arkansas Armory is awesome. Everyone there is knowledgeable and helpful. I'll stay a loyal customer.

Customer Service: Arkansas Armory has Friendly welcoming staff that do NOT make you feel inadequate or ill-equipped to shoot or learn. I'm a beginner shooter and enjoy being around this particular business because I can tell immediately they have my interests and other customers at heart. Guns: I purchased my first gun at another store, only because I did not see AA prices first. My second handgun I purchased from Arkansas Armory and was VERY satisfied with the prices. Their prices were a little lower on one model I wanted, AND they took off my 20$ handgun Rental fee because I tested guns first before I bought one. If I purchase another gun, I will test/buy here again because they are local, fair priced, and have excellent/quick customer service. No standing at a gun counter for "hours" waiting to look at a gun like other stores around town. Range: The range has 6 slots as of now, and all target equipment works great, especially for handguns. They also sell cheap target ammo so I don't have to leave if I want to shoot more. They are very safe and will help you with anything you need or have questions about. Concealed Carry Course: Very informative and convenient. The teacher was very professional and engaging to a variety of people with different backgrounds. They even gave us coffee and donuts... I highly recommend.

They are always professional and treat me with respect. The employees and owners are always available to help with anything I need. Wife got me an AA gift certificate and a sticky holster for Christmas. She was helped by someone there who was very helpful and gave her all the info she needed to make a good decision on the purchase. I later went to use my gift certificate in the range. Excellent facility, knowledgeable and responsive staff. The shooting range is clean, air-conditioned and well monitored. I am also impressed with the staffs attention to safety. If I had one piece of constructive criticism would be that their inventory is a bit limited, mainly modern sporting rifles and pistols. Almost no "hunting" firearms and revolvers. Which is fine that may not be their focus. Even with that the 5 stars are well deserved. Oh, and you will soon fall for the beautiful German Shepard that inhabits the store.

This is a great place to shop for weapons and accessories for anything from pistols to rifles. Their indoor range is great and they also allow rifles on certain days. Awesome experience everytime I go. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it's nice to see familiar faces each visit. They offer courses on concealed carry, and I was very pleased at the level of effort they give in presenting the most current, accurate, and useful material, not just a monitone mandatory reading of the legal literature. I'd also like to point out their Facebook page is incredibly useful to follow; Nathan posts very regularly and keeps you updated regarding new legislature, events, and news while at the same time keeping a fairly neutral position by not getting caught up in social drama as is commonly found or created by media. If you're interested in some accessories for your gun, this place sells and installs laser sights, flashlights, sights, and more. I've gotten Trijicon HD night sights on two handguns from them and one of their staff, a licensed armorer, installed them each in 10 minutes, and I haven't had to adjust them at all. As for the range itself, they have 6 lanes and you never have to wait long, if at all, to shoot. I do wish I could practice drawing from the holster here but also understand why they do not allow it. Still, having a huge variety of rental guns, and rifle fire allowed on Thursday and Friday, the range is pretty solid. EDIT: Please see the Armory's reply to my review for details about their selling of guns. They DO sell firearms and will work with you to get it if they don't have it.

I took a CHL class here today. Was pleasantly surprised to find the class a lot more enjoyable than I had at first expected. I needed a little extra training with my gun as I was not a very good shot - the instructor could not have been nicer or more helpful throughout the entire thing. I love this place. We have been shooting at indoor facilities here in Central Arkansas for the last 3 years. The shooting range is very nice, albeit small and the staff are courteous. My issue lies with the staff, while they are knowledgeable in the very basics, anything beyond that is too much for them. It really feels as if the staff there are just reading from a pamphlet. Tip for owner: If your employees ever need to tell someone "You will have to come back on Tuesday when our manager is here for that" you immediately lost a customer. Either train your employees and empower them or have someone on staff during all open hours that is capable of running the business. As FYI, my encounter at your store lasted less than five minutes: Me: I'm looking to sell or maybe trade in a rifle Guy at counter: Oh, you will have to come back on Tuesday to talk to our general manager Guy at counter yelling to someone at back of store: Hey is Nathan coming in on Tuesday Guy in back of store yelling: Yea he will be here on Tuesday Guy at counter: Yea come back on Tuesday to talk to our manager Me: Ok That was the gist of my visit.

Just moved to Little Rock and never enjoyed guns because I was not a hunter. I wanted to take my father to the range for a holiday but was a little intimidated by the whole thing. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly nice. All the procedures were clearly explained by the staff and through a video, and we felt safe and (more importantly) like we were completely safe to everyone else. Using the lane controls to change the distance of targets and retrieve them is very simple. There are all types of fun, inexpensive targets to shoot. (They even have zombies). As a result of this single experience I bought two range guns and have been back nearly every weekend. Great fun, just enough adrenaline, and a really warm and safe atmosphere that is kind to newcomers. You'll be surprised how much fun it is, and this is coming from a Democrat. I know, right?

The prices are set at times and chanting be changed but if it is a order or item of theirs things can be helped with. The Fire Range is a great price too and is set up for wide range of firearms ranging for Pistols, Revolvers and Rifles best place in town to shoot and to have a great time with your family. The state police recommended this place for fingerprinting due to COVID-19 restriction. Upon entering this establishment, I was immediately greeted by a young lady who then informed me of who would be doing my fingerprints. The gentleman was super friendly and was diligent in completing the prints. Afterwards, I was instructed to go to the front desk to check out. There was bit of a line but I was constantly asked if I needed any help or assistance with anything. The folks there are VERY friendly and accommodating. Visited for the 1st time today. They've only been open for about 2 months, but have put together a really nice shop. Employees and service were top notch. They also have a very nice 25yd 6 lane range, rated up to 30:06, with a live video feed playing on a large monitor in the showroom. Nice touch. A very good selection and with great prices. Last night my wife and I took a Handgun 101 class from Candace. First off, she was fantastic. She was patient, funny, and made the class very interesting. She is a natural teacher! Right out of the gate the class was hands on and within the first 15 minutes, I knew the class was already a homerun with how much we had learned. Very professional group. I went in to renew my Arkansas CCW and the owner took time to go over the advantages of taking the time now to upgrade to the new Enhanced Liscense. I have been a CCW holder for 15 years and have taken classes in Arkansas & Arizona. I have to say that this was the best class that I have been to. Both the delivery of content and the attitude of the instructor we’re top notch. In addition my ccw liscense was two weeks from expiring and I was worrried that I might not be able to carry my firearm for weeks or months before the state got around to processing my renewal application. Arkansas Armory was kind enough to take my paperwork to the Arkansas State Police office for me and hand delivered it to them. Great range not a lot of firing lanes but still really good for an indoor range. Parking is tight but that's to be expected for where it's located, not really a deal breaker. Staff is awesome. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is due to the accessories they had. Now to be specific It has a ton of accessories for semi automatic pistols and rifles but not a lot for revolvers. Now I talked to a gentleman about it and he gave me the reason behind it and I can totally agree with it but I mean if you sell or even rent out revolvers you have to at least carry some speed loaders. Now I'm giving it 4 stars but don't look at this review as a negative it's a great facility to shoot at or buy mods at this is only my 2 cents. If the owner decides to get stuff for revolvers cool if they don't I'm cool with that too I'm still gonna come back and keep shooting.

I came last Monday to conduct my CCP renewal course. Justin was my instructor (did a GREAT job and was very helpful in both the range time and classroom instruction). I was told about the pilot program AA is involved in with the Arkansas State Police to expedite the renewal/licensing process. Conducted my course on Monday, 07/31/17; license came today, 08/04/17. My first visit to this place was a good one. I went there to purchase a firearm to protect my place of business. We all know shotguns and rifles are the best line of defense generally, but I needed something that was compact and could be readily carried on my person, that would not limit my mobility at all. I had several specific requirements in mind, and my salesman listened well and offered up several choices meeting my specifications. There was zero sales pressure and he did not try to upsell me on any of them. In fact, the first firearm he offered was actually the most economical. He showed me to the range where I could test the firearm and get a feel for it. The paperwork and training video was brief and informative, mostly common sense things, but nonetheless a certain amount of comfort comes in knowing the general public is educated all under the same standard procedure from beginner to expert across the board- minimizing the risk of accidents in the range. After testing the firearm out, I decided it was a good fit for the job, the machine work, fit and finish, and materials were superb. It was also American made, which is excellent. The relaxed atmosphere of the store resulted in me upselling myself to a firearm that was better than double the cost of the economical model that was introduced to me. I have no problem spending good money, I pay for quality- but I refuse to do so in a pressure environment where my patronage is obviously only appreciated to inflate commissions. Arkansas Armory has none of that feel or environment at all. I wish every buying/sales experience was like Arkansas Armory. All of this combined with EXCELLENT and very diverse hours of operation makes being a customer of Arkansas Armory a no-brainer. I will for sure be a repeat customer of this business.

Great gun shop. Walk in the door and the employees are knocking each other down to find out how they can help you, and tell them your name once, and they'll remember it. If you are new to shooting and/or guns, this is a great place to learn as well. Large selection of guns, ammo, and accessories. This place is just an all around class act. I used their range as well. They DO require you to get checked out on their specific range. Takes 10 minutes to watch a video and fill out 1 page of paperwork. Range Quals are good for a year. For those new to using an indoor range or shooting, the video and rep will probably answer most questions you'll have about it before you get a chance to ask it. It is in depth and quick. You must pay attention though, as there is a lot of information being put out there, so it's not something you want to blow off. Prices (I found) were considerably lower than the other large gun shop in NLR. I never felt out of place here. When I entered the range, there were several people already in there, including a young child, about 7 or 8, with his dad, who was teaching him how to shoot. I signed up for their concealed carry class which was $110. All the employees were clean sut, well spoken, and like I mentioned, very helpful. They seemed to genuinely appreciate you giving them a chance to earn your business. Black or white, man or woman, short or tall, Arkansas Armory welcomes you. My only complaint is that as of yet, they do not sell Sig Sauers, my weapon of choice. This is the place to go.

I've been to the store/range about 10 times and I have nothing bad to say about anything. The prices are competitive but obviously you're not going to get walmart prices at a local store. I'd much rather pay a little more and be treated like a friend every time I walk in the door. I don't think I've ever entered or exited this place without being greeted or told to have a good day, and that's just not something you're going to get many other places. Arkansas Armory is a very alive business constantly trying to improve, and you can really tell they care about what the people think. I've read some of these negative reviews and if people really think that saving 20 bucks is worth being treated the way walmart or other big box stores treat you then I guess you're not the type of person that cares much about the experience anyway, and you should probably stay away from the reviews and away from good local business. Keep doing what you're doing Arkansas Armory, and if you haven't stopped by I would highly recommend you do it.

RESPONSE TO THE ANONYMOUS POSTER You comment (I paraphrase), that the Armory doesn't give anything free or give special prices, even on major purchases. I must disagree with your statement, and question what you mean by a major purchase. As I posted previously, they, like most small businesses in a niche market, don't have a significant markup on weaponry and such. They make their money off of range fees, accessories, etc. That being said, I have made many purchases from them and all I've had to do was simply ask, "Can I have an hour of range time to work with this new purchase?". The response has always been "Sure!". When I needed adjustments to my new weapons, such as switching out the back strap, or mounting the scope plate, they gladly assisted and saved me the headache of having to run home to effect the modifications. My point is, you must consider whether your "request" is reasonable, and what is it going to cost a small business owner, their staff, and even the other consumers who are patrons. As an example, a $20.00 "freebie" for range time given to 10 loyal patrons, may equal part of a yearly raise for one of the staff. If you don't run the business, you have no clue about expenses. It may also cause the owner to raise prices much sooner than inflation might account for. Actions and reactions my friend. Finally, what do you consider to be a major purchase? 1 box of ammo? Pah! Maybe you consider $600.00 to be a major purchase? Closer to reality! If you were spending $1300.00 + THEN you can talk about major purchase, although you really aren't in the big leagues until you start hitting $2000-$5000. My point to this rant is, "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch". You, or someone else WILL pay the cost somewhere down the line.....If a business sees fit to give you a freebie, or special prices, be thankful and gracious, its fine to ASK, but don't go in expecting its your RIGHT.... For $15 you can rent a lane and shoot as long as you want the only other cost is a $1 charge for a Target if you don't bring your own. Ammo they have for sale is pretty cheap. And they have weapons for rent. Some of them you can shoot just for the cost of ammunition others you can pay $20 to shoot any of the pay to rent weapons as long as you buy a box of ammo for them. The only downsides are they don't have very many lanes to shoot on and parking can be a bit tight.
