This was my first time axe-throwing, and this place is awesome! Aimee was an amazing coach! She kept giving me feedback, then within 20 min I was throwing bullseyes. It’s in a super fun location, Area 15, and has a killer vibe. Can’t wait till my next Vegas trip, I’ll definitely come back to Dueling Axes.

Just an absolute blast; axe throwing is a wonderful time and this is a good place for beginners. Our instructor/bartender was friendly and funny. In the hour we were there we managed to play all of the different games, their scoring system is simple to use. Drinks were good too

This place is amazing. It's not just a unique experience it's incredibly well run. The environment is nice and clean, plenty of space so you aren't crammed in, great bar, nice staff. Definitely worth working into your trip to Vegas.

My family of 6 went and had a really good time. The atmosphere was bomb. The actual axe throwing was a lot of fun and something the whole family would like to do more of. The staff was well educated and helped us understand how to do it and stay safe. The bar was good too. Nice selection of bourbons to play with for me.

We were greeted by Julia when we arrived. It was our first time coming here and she was SO FRIENDLY. She explained everything about how things work, pricing, safety and then walked us to our axe throwing lane. She managed us, a reservation that arrived, and then maybe another walk in effortlessly. Everyone was acknowledged and had their needs met. The bartenders were so funny and very helpful. Our server/coach ( missed his name but he did introduce himself!!) was awesome. Went over safety teaching, showed us how to keep score, and demonstrated the best ways to axe throw. He came back with extra help too after the first few attempts didn’t go well and we asked him for any additional pointers. What a great way to pass the time! We had a great experience and would love to return. We recommend this place to anybody!

Loved this experience so much! We had a group of between 15-25 people for a company event. The staff was super helpful in teaching us how to correctly throw and they were very attentive, making sure everyone had their drinks filled. They were also able to accomodate people from our group arriving late and getting them involved in the fun with no issue. For those of you who are looking for food options, Dueling axes does not have any food, but you can have food delivered from The Beast, which is right next door. The staff was awesome about having food brought in and even helped us clean up. Overall, a great experience! We will definitely be going back again!

Dueling Axes is the perfect addition to AREA15. It’s a great place to play Viking, drinking and throwing axes. Came here for a little birthday fun and every staff member from the front desk to the bar was super friendly: David took care of us on our lane. He was an awesome axe throwing instructor and made sure we didn’t leave any of our stuff behind. I highly recommend for a great time!

I’m proud to say that I have now been to all 3 locations currently open. We were at the Las Vegas spot this time but both venues in Columbus Ohio are amazing!! ( there are more venues on the horizons.) The venue is located in a really neat spot! It’s really big with a full bar complete with a fantastic bartender! Our coach(I’m sorry I forgot his name) made sure to check in on us since we were seated in the VIP area!! We had a blast!!

Coach David made it a point to answer any questions we had and also took the time for some friendly competition. The venue was clean and their boards were very well maintained. All 4 of us had a great time. 1 hour was the perfect amount of time for us. We all got a lot better and more competitive towards the end and it was a lot of fun. Betting $20 for each bullseye was the best! It has a similar vibe to bowling, where you take your turn, and then you get to talk and drink with the others in your group while everyone else is throwing. Love it!

We were at Area 15 for my birthday and decided to do this as well while we were there. It was a great experience. We all had fun. It was nice that the ones that did not want to throw could still go and watch. Our board was a little run down but it was still ok. Only thing i could say would be to have a few more snack options. This place was so much fun! We were in town for a friend's bday and this was the perfect place for a group to have fun before a night out. The staff was awesome, axe throwing was fun, and their scoring system was great. Not to mention that we were able to order drinks to our table. The location was great too! We had a great time throwing axes. Chloe and Hailey were great except they told us we can throw trick shots with the axes. It would be so much cooler if you could throw axes between your legs. But 5 stars because you can drink tequila. Overall, it was a lovely experience. I would come here every weekend just to take all my anger out on a wood block.

I've been to Area 15 a couple of times now but only passed by Dueling Axes. With some family in town, I thought this would be cool to try and it was a lot of fun. It is however not as easy as it looks for some. But, don't feel bad. You are there to have fun and sometimes you have a good throw and sometimes not so good, haha. The staff was friendly and at the start, if you have not been there before, they will give you some instructions to get started. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not soo busy. Easy to get right in on start throwing axes. I think this is easily something I would go back to again.

In A Nutshell: -If you wanna do something a little different besides bowling, you will enjoy throwing some real axes in Vegas. -You can pay for a 30 minute session or 1 hour session, depending on how much time you wanna spend. -30 minutes for 4 people was pretty good, we were able to squeeze in 2 games. -There are different techniques to throwing an axe (i.e. one handed, two handed), but I think the most important thing is the follow-through to ensure you'll get it straight and sticking. Overall, this was a fun place to do something a little different.

First off, shout out to the staff of Dueling Axe located in Area 15. My Team and I had a team building event and they took good care of us. Brandon was our ciach on how to throw the axe and he took care of getting us our drinks. Everything was smooth from completing the waiver before arriving, check in at the counter then the axe throwing. One thing that set them apart from all the axe throwing locations I've been to is the electronic way of keeping score. I remember years ago in San Diego where we would write the numbers on a chalk board. Thanks again Brandon and Team. We all had a great time.

We loved our experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this place if you're in Vegas and want to try something not on the strip. We are easy going folks but we had a large party (12). It was so easy to book our lanes in advance; easy to get directions and an Uber/Lyft there; and easy to check in and get started. Dave was so helpful and patient. I honestly felt bad it took our group so long to work through the "practice" phase but Dave was unphased. He patiently worked with every single person in our party to make sure they were comfortable/confident in the proper technique. Honestly, made it seem .ike he wanted us to enjoy our visit more than he wanted our entry fee. The beer buckets were reasonably priced, especially for Vegas. The atmosphere was great and when our timer was up; it was simple and clear. I would highly recommend this place! And being in side Area 15 was a huge perk because there was other things to do once we finished.

I (we) had a blast. Second time. It was enjoyable; however, the discounts for locals should be available on the weekends, too. I work during the week and I don't do these types of attractions until the weekend. It can be costly ($35 pp for one hour or $70 pp for 160 min.) when there's several people in the group. So a discount would have been appreciated. There's a bar and a live band playing around 9 pm.

Last weekend, my friends and I visited Vegas and this was one of the most fun things we did. Not only do they have a ton of axe throwing lanes, great drinks, and a cool atmosphere, they also have Cosmic Axes on weekend nights where you can throw a glowing axe! It really doesn't get much better than that. Brannon, who coached us, helped improve our form. By the end of the night, we were all hitting bullseyes. The manager Randy personally came up to us and offered assistance on throwing and tips about Vegas night life. The entire Area15 building, where Dueling Axes is located, is tricked out in neon lights and art exhibits. You are paying for a great experience overall. If you are looking for a fun and interesting time in Vegas, Dueling Axes is the place to be!

We had a fun time. Just be aware they start your hour from the time you show up so they said show up 15 mins early to your appointment for training and safety protocal. We have a 4:00 reservation, we showed up at 345 as directed, and our timer ended at 445. I assumed it ended an hour after our reservation so I guess you just lose 15 minutes for training purposes and signing waivers? We still got 3 full regular games in with 4 people. Other than that super friendly service, great bar and atmosphere. And amazing music!

The staff was super nice and explained everything we needed to know. Check in was slow, but probably because we did not make reservations ahead of time and had to go through the liability waivers when we arrived. Service was fast, place was clean. The computer scoring, like with bowling, was fun. Being able to bring food in from The Beast (super YUM!) was a nice addition. Not sure about spectators having to pay $1 to watch, but maybe it's for liability? Our group had a great time.

I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in. My brother has been before in Oregon but I haven’t been at all. We haven’t been to this location. So our waitress was really nice and I apologize I can’t remember her name. But I enjoyed it. You know after the initial disappointment and not hitting my target, after a while you get the hang of it. And then the competition starts the setting. The ability to no prop yourself up so you can make your target stores sell him but I was really interesting. But it was a good time. It’s a good space to have a party. I really like it.

So fun! Loved learning a new skill. I only gave 4 stars because the employee Megan was rude and she kept taking her mask off to talk. And she didn't properly show us how to throw. Also its quite pricey.. Half way through the manager came over to show us how to play a game and he was really great. Overall I would recommend to a friend but probably wouldn't go back because of the price.

Had an amazing time! Marleen was a super sweet coach, I'd say this is like a more fun (and extreme) way of bowling. I do have to warn though that the card scanner has a habit of glitching and charging more than needed so be sure to double check the amount before swiping the card (eg. Renting shoes is $5 but appeared for me as $38 in the machine). Thankfully the manager was very sweet and quick to refund the overcharge so that's why I give them 5 stars regardless.
