Loved it! Where else are you gonna get to watch the players this up close and personal, for free? All the staff were friendly, and welcoming. Been up here several times, each time better than the last. Go Knights Go!

This is a down to business hockey rink. You're not going to find alot of distractions. It has two rinks, bathrooms, and locker rooms for the players. There's a coffee shop downstairs that can also be found in the Lifeguard Arena and a restaurant upstairs that has room to accommodate large parties. However, the flow of traffic isn't the best. It became extremely crowded very quickly and it was very difficult to move around. I dropped from 4 to 3 stars simply because of traffic flow and seating. Crowd management is extremely important in a public venue like this one. The stadium seat runs the length of the rink, but the design of the seats makes it hard to sit and the view of the ice isn't the best. It's almost non existent from the restaurant windows which caught me by surprise. In every rink I've been in, the second floor view is almost always the best. Most of us either stood up or sat on the concrete floor in between the seats to watch the game. The picture I've added was taken from the top of seating area inside not the rink. I couldn't find a good place to take a picture from the restaurant windows. If I was comparing this rink to the Lifeguard Arena in Henderson, I would pick Henderson everyday of the week.

As an arena where Vegas Golden Knights train time to time you expect more from the venue. It is for sure nicely decorated and has great changing rooms! But the ice quality is just ok and they don't even have a water fountains to refill bottles (the only ones I was pointed to are the regular drinking fountains).

I skated here while visiting family. Home of the Golden Knights. Every time I come over there’s something new in Las Vegas! I skated during public hours. It was nice and affordable. It’s an NHL sized rink with the team logo in the center. I’m not a hockey person but I thought it was fun to skate the circle (and practice my forward crossovers) around the team logo on center ice. What other sport let’s you do that? I’d like to come back. I looked around the team store/pro shop. This rink has a big parking lot. There are food options in the rink but I didn’t eat there. It’s cool that it’s available.

Reviewed from an out of town fan that comes to Vegas for hockey. This is a great place to visit if you love hockey. Come watch practice for free. Visit the adjoining bar and grill for amazing food and drinks. Visit the team store as well. Also, there's a coffee stand here now. Get a cup while watching practice. Getting here by bus is super easy, barely an inconvenience. The SX line ends just outside. So does the 206. Easy to connect from lines coming off the strip. Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. It gets cold in the rink.

Hockey, pizza pub, Golden Knights gift shop - can't go wrong!! No entry fee.... There is disabled parking spots across the street from the main entrance. All kinds of hockey gear, clothing, hockey sticks, and many gift items.

Never was a huge hockey fan but now that Vegas has a team and I’m born and raised here I’ll jump on. So far I went to T-Mobile to the first home game and now I’m here to check out the practice facility. This is a great place to come check them out and it’s in a great local. Has a great gift shop too.

We came for the Golden Knights open practice on Saturday. We watched the Knights practice, then had a great lunch at Mackenzie River Pizza. Food was more than we expected. Both the chicken chili and corn chowder was excellent. Kids meals came with goldfish as a premeal snack and the kids mac and cheese had goldfish in it. Husband loved his burger. After lunch, the kids and husband stayed for open skate. The prices were great and my husband like that he could pick either regular or hockey skates for rental.

This ice arena is amazing with lots of team spirit. Has 2 rinks a gym and 2 places to get food from as well as a gift shop and skate rental and sharpening if you already own your skates. You can also buy hockey equipment here.

Been here 3 times so far mainly to the shop and purchased ice skates and of course Golden knights hats, shirts, accessories, etc.... the first day I went it was very crowded and couldn’t really walk around with ease however now they seem to have it a bit under control by limiting the amount of people in the shop which is great! the line moves very quickly! The prices are just a bit high and they don’t have much of anything for kids, my daughter is 10 and we can never find her a t-shirt or Jersey that fits her, the second time we came early to get some coffee but it turned out the restaurant didn’t open until 11am and the shop until 10am. Considering how well the Golden knights are doing these places should open up way earlier. Hopefully it will only get better!

Love watching our Golden Knights practice here at City National Arena. It can be really crowded at times so parking can be an issue during this time. Neat store including merchandise from Golden Knights and hockey equipment. There are 2 full rinks inside the arena. Great classes for beginner skaters or experienced skaters looking to get into a league or skate around for fun. They have it all here! Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

There’s a great place to eat and drink while watching the Golden Knights practice called the MacKenzie River Pub here at City National Arena. The blackened chicken dish is amazing and the energy here is always great especially when the Knights are in the building. Practice is usually the day before or day of home games between 9-12 call ahead to find out their practice times and come enjoy the food while watching!

What an amazing place! It's a place where strangers treat you like family. A place where the passionate and the inspired inspire, you. And upstairs, Mackenzie River restaurant, one of the greatest pizzas I've ever tasted ( Tomato Basil pizza. I add with it true calamari olives and Italian sausage original crust). And the server Jessica, knowledgeable about what it offers, not only beautiful, but a solver, helpful. This is a highly recommend type place.

I went here for the first time and was impressed how nice it is. The Vegas Golden Knight's call this place home for their practices. Included in the arena is the team store. Further down from the main entrance is a second rink with public skating and skate rentals. Discounts for military are included!! The second floor also has a restaurant.

Happened to be in Las Vegas for business and staying near the arena. Being a hockey fan I thought I would venture over to the arena and see what was happening one evening. Upon arrival, I visited the lounge and was greeted promptly by the bartender. He was courteous and obviously known by the other patrons. While there I enjoyed taking in a mens leauge game and met some locals. A wonderful venue with a nice restaurant/ bar. A must see if you’re in the area.

Quality facility. Ice was much harder than it's counterpart at LifeGuard Arena. The benches have been raised up as well so you don't have to step up onto the ice like LGA. The bar upstairs and gift shop were an added bonus.

State of the art facility! Probably the nicest rink I've ever played at. Large, spacious locker rooms. Great souvenir shop for all your VGK needs but not much selection for actual hockey equipment. Restaurant and bar overlook both sheets of ice. Awesome food but they close early all the time.

Excellent facility for skating. My son plays hockey and says the ice is the best. Clean locker rooms with plenty of room for teams, especially ones with multiple goalies. Also have a women's/girl's locker room. Not a very cold facility which is nice for spectating. Clean, and the decor is fantastic. The NHL Knights are great with making sure they stop and spend time with kids.

Love this new place. It is clean, organized, has plenty of parking. Had a 9 year old signed up for beginner skating classes and he absolutely loves it. He loves all the coaches and progresses very fast as well as their entire group. No matter how difficult and scary it is for the kids to learn skating the coaches make it feel like an awesome experience.

Went while it was extremely busy, and still had a great time. The Arsenal is loaded with golden knights gear, and I spent a good amount of time browsing everything. The upstairs restaurant and bar overlooks the two rinks which is quite cool. I can't speak for the food, but I did enjoy my drink at the bar

Great place for the kids to play hockey. Also to watch the knights and have a beer. I am happy that Vegas and rinks like these allow kids to experience and play the great sport of hockey. However if I am to be brutally honest... every rink in Vegas cares only about money. Thats why these kids only get about 50 minutes to 1 hour a week of practice, which has 2 to 5 teams on the ice at one time. If your coming from a hockey state, be ready to spend hundreds if not thousands on extra classes, open skate, stick and puck and multiple leagues at different rinks. Just so your kid can stay on track.

First time here. Best place to 'chill' on a hot Vegas day! Two full ice rinks where you can watch the NHL Golden Knights practice or opt for a public skate session for $12. Coffee shop and sandwiches downstairs at the cafe or full restaurant upstairs. I got a burger. Very good!

Very excited to walk around. There was a youth hockey tournament going on so we got to watch some up and comers play. Also stumbled across a really good pizza joint on the second floor. It has doors to both rinks and had good pizza and a nice selection of beers on tap.

Beautiful facility with two sheets of ice! This is the practice facility of the Vegas Golden Knights. Freestyle sessions in the morning then we had lunch upstairs at McKenzie River Restaurant. We got to watch the Golden Knights practice as we ate! Highly recommend going to skate, or just to eat at the MRR! If you're a Golden Knights fan, the gift shop is fantastic, with a great selection! The facility is located a bit off the strip by the Hard Rock Hotel.

This is a fun place for all ages. There is a practice rink for the Golden Knights hockey team, another rink for public skating sessions, a Golden Knights store, restaurant upstairs, which is a fun place to view the Golden Knights away games and the home practice games. The City National Arena is almost across the street from Downtown Summerlin. So it is in a great location for a day of fun! The only sad thing was they were out of some sizes of skates women's sizes 7,8 & 9. My suggestion is maybe buy some ice skates on Amazon for $26.00 that you can bring. I am a bit surprised they do not have ample skate sizes on hand. If they did I would rate it with 5 stars.

Such a fun great place to take the family to go ice skating. Very fun, kids enjoy skating not expansive, they have skate rentals helmet rentals very friendly staff. They even teach how to ice skate. This is a great building but not enough. I showed up to work on skating skills and there are 300+ children under 10 to skate on one rink. It’s not safe. The Golden Knights have the interest. It’s time to invest in the community and get more sheets of ice in town.

Simply an amazing facility that is made amazing by the staff. Chad, the director, is hands on and really caring about getting people to love skating. The coaches show a joy for teaching. And everyone seems excited to make a professional training program in Vegas for both hockey and figure skating. As for the facility, the entrance is separate from the rinks, with doors separating the cold air from the lobby. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere for watching games, watching practice, or just hanging out. Not to mention, practices of the Golden Knights can be watched. The pro shop is still setting up for skating, but the employees were awesome and friendly...

Hubby went for a hockey tournament and we caught some of the Vegas Knights practicing. It was really cool to watch them up close. Husband said that the ice quality is really good at the rink compared to others. There's also a bar upstairs with a full menu and a big selection of beers. You can see both rinks from up top and can watch without freezing.

So cool to watch the Knights practice here. Even when the practices were limited to 600 before the Finals games and the building was absolutely packed, the employees handled it flawlessly. Including when the Arsenal got so crowded they had to lock people out and let them in a few at a time. Funny story, I left my boyfriend to go use the facilities and wound up locked out! Not a big deal though as they also have a few picnic benches just outside the store to park your behind in case of said mishap!

I enjoyed watching the Golden Knights practice, and was very pleasantly surprised that it was free. The prices at the nearby team store weren't too inflated either like they are at the arena. Seems like a pretty nice ice rink. Wish I could have played a pick up game there too.

You guys need to get your act together. the restaurant doesn't open till 11 a.m.! You think you would open a little bit earlier with what's going on in our city and the Golden Knights. I went there 3 times to buy some merchandise but when I looked at the 30 people waiting in line for the cashier and another 40 waiting outside to get in the store I left. Maybe you could get a couple more cashiers? The rink is very nice absolutely beautiful that's why I gave you 4 stars. GO KNIGHTS!

Great venue for just about any event......and home of the Knights! We have set in many locations here and every seat offers a great view. Being a new venue everything is well kept and batrooms are numerous and convienently located. Venue parking is close and abundant.

There is no kids skate training aid/equipment. Would have been very helpful for my 4 year old to use instead of me having to hold her the entire 2 hours. Lockers are 5$ for first hour and a $1, I believe, every 30 minutes after that. I purchased a groupon for my rentals and entry ticket so I'm not sure on those prices. I was happy that the staff on the ice came over to make sure I was okay after 2 young boys accidentally knocked me to the ground. They are paying attention to their guests!

Great place for open skate and to watch the Golden Knights before game day! The armory is also here for all the gear. Nice new arena, and great staff. The rental skates here are a little tough on the feet.

Great place to see VGK practice if you can't afford the ticket price. There is ample sitting or standing room. Best part is seeing players up close just inches away at practice. The Arsenal is next to the arena with assortment of VGK items. It is owned by VGK and part of proceeds go to their foundation to help the community. Restaurant is located on second floor with view of the ice rink.

Home of the Golden Knights. Birthday parties can be arranged her for all ages. My sons class mate recently celebrated his 11th Bday here and was impressed with the building inside and out. Just wasn't feeling the overly packed parking lot in the freezing cold but hey what can you expect out of sports arena right?!

We went on a saturday.. there was a lot of kids and teens, they sell out of tickets early so try to get there early and buy your tickets! They have a full bar upstairs with a lot of food and views to both sides of the skating rink, service is good, but it's pretty pricy, $24 for a pitcher of shock top on draft. The ice skating price is reasonable. There's a half bar downstairs with like 5 different kinds of beer and snacks. Ice skating started at 7:30 and ended at 9:30. They used the zambony on the ice at 8:30 and it took like 5 to 10 minutes. It was a great experience!

Can get in and watch golden knights practice. Very very crowded during the playoffs. Very hard to get in and see the players. There is a restaurant you can eat in and watch practice Through the Windows, but there are often people standing in the arena above the stands blocking the windows, so you can't see the players very well. The gift shop has a good amount of items for sale. I personally thought the selection would be better, compared to all of the things on sale on the internet. the gift shop has average selection.

Went to see the US Paraolympic team practice and the the VGK hockey game in the lounge. Lots of tv screens available and the food and drink selection was great for this venue. Service and the food were very good and they had high chairs available. Which were needed. Recommended.

The Golden Knights practice arena in downtown Summerlin. This place has 2 huge ice rinks and they offer open to public ice skate sessions. It was $10 with skate rental, and I think it was $7 with your own skates. Very fun, and the staff was young and friendly. Ample parking.

Great facility with many programs throughout the week for ice skating for all ages and levels. Upstairs there is a nice restaurant and bar with seating that overlooks both sides of the arena so you can sit and view either side.

Great family ice hockey complex. Free open skating, restaurant, and Vegas Golden Knights fan store. You can even watch the VGK practice! The fan store is small with limited clothing choices. Hopefully it will expand its inventory with time.

Great facility, ice was first rate! The crowd for the UNLV game were sone of the most classless fans I've ever seen!. You just don't cheer when a opposing player gets hurt.

The arena is cool, but be advised that you have two options for food/drinks: bring your own, or go to the (not so cheap) bar/restaurant overlooking the arena. There are no vending machines. So you can’t get a simple snack without going into the restaurant and sitting down. Las Vegas I’ve Center has both options. Sobe Ice rink is connected to a casino/hotel, so the options are endless. There’s nothing centrally locates unfortunately. You go to one end of the valley or the other for Hockey.

As practice arenas go, this place RULES. Thier pizza is really good too! Go Knights Go! If you're going to the Arsenal, give yourself time... I've seen the lines be 3 hours long.

State of the art ice rinks. Only downfall is the bar closes between 9 and 10 depending on the night. Lots of thirsty hockey players are forced to go elsewhere. It's quite ridiculous for Vegas. May bring my team back to the other rink.
