I've been bringing my son here since he was 2 years old! His father and I would stay for hours to tire him out. He's 11 now and I still bring him from time to time only now his dad watches us from heaven when we go. The water pad has changed so much over the years. Nice park with basketball hoops playscapes for little ones and another one for bigger kids. There's also a swimming pool. You can walk around by following the road through the open safe woods picking up golf balls along the way that people knocked out of the golf court and it leads you to a pond with some ducks. I would bring a bike for my son sometime to ride in that wooded area with the long road because there's no traffic back there. Its a nice private place!!

Goodwin park has a great sprinkler pad is very clean. People are usually respectful and the kids have fun. They have a pool however you can't swim with the kids. They have a nice area to work out and different area where you can relax by the pond catch frogs and turtles. It's nice

Beautiful. Hartford best city in the usa. (My personal opinion). You can use the golf course for free. Pool free. Hartford has it all. I happily pay my taxes. The diversity of culture is just great.

This place is usually at capacity with the pool the playscape the sprinkle area and basketball court which is understandable. The chairs need fixing the playscape floor need remodeling but for the most park its an enjoyable place.

Don't bother going because you can't bring in a towel, sun protection or your shoes. I was shocked to find this out at the entrance after waiting until 1pm for them to open.

This address is incorrect - - the Goodwin Park Pool where swim meets occur is at the intersection of Dalton Street and South Street in Hartford. The general location is near the First and Last Tavern - - it is approximately a block away from this restaurant.

I played vintage base ball in a field next to the pool. I did not go in the pool. The pool was closed. There was no water in it.

This place is beautiful I couldn't take any photos because I went with all my class I learned my cell phone for a while to listen to music with my friends nothing more and then I turned it off because if not later the teacher scolded me but this park is beautiful
