Came in with a group of six—three couples of husbands and wives for a fun weekend activity. We showed up around 1pm for our 1:30pm reservation and were helped out pretty quickly by the front of house staff. They explained all of our options for packages and we chose the basic $39 package per person but added on an additional 4,000 paintballs. We were a little disappointed that the website had false advertised/mislead us into thinking ahead of time that upgrading to a full auto gun was only an additional $10, but in fact it turned out to be a $40 upgrade because you had to purchase an entirely whole different package to be able to upgrade to use the full auto. So we just stayed with the basic gun package and it was fine for the price. It would be nice if they had offered an option to just upgrade the gun without all of the extra stuff we didn’t need like gear etc that came with the only package that had the full auto. Kind of gimmicky to make that unavailable as a separate add-on when everything else is offered al-a-cart. We also all purchased gloves and that extra 4k paint from the gear shop, and rented the anti-fog masks, so it’s not like we were being cheap, we just didn’t need/want all of the stuff included in the most expensive package—would have just liked to have been able to rent the nicer gun at the a-La-cart rate like everything else. The coordinator guy that ran things in the back was cool AF. You can tell he really loves his job and he spoke highly of his boss/ownership so that is always great to hear when supporting a local business. The teenagers/young adults that worked under him unfortunately weren’t as awesome as he was and at times we could very easily hear them complaining openly about customers to each other and being unnecessarily rude to little kids. The guys that ran the outdoor area were suuuuuper disorganized/unprofessional when it came to assembling teams for open play. They just numbered everyone off and said good luck. We had to inquire after the first game about some sort of identification for each team since nobody had any clue who was who since they had separated about 25 people from 4 different groups into two large teams without any flags or jerseys to tell each other apart. They finally went and got flags after we insisted and that helped with the organization aspect, but the first two games without flags were definitely a waste of time and paint with same team members shooting each other unknowingly the entire duration. Overall we had a blast as a group, just wish staff outside of the main man coordinator (Daniel maybe?) were trained to be just as knowledgeable and geeked out as he was. Also offer that upgrade as an a-La-cart item like on your website or change the website to the correct information.

It my home field love the set up and all the employees arw great and friendly fun time for all ages. Super affordable. May ways to play. From just open play to tournament style paintball. Even have a little league to get the kids up and off technology.

TC Paintball in Grand Rapids is a top notch paintball facility that offers a huge pro shop stocked with every piece of gear you could ever need and beautiful turf indoor and outdoor fields so that us Michigan paintball players can play year-round. Rick and his staff do everything they can to cater to every player, from kids and first-time players all the way through seasoned tournament players. This field and its ownership epitomize the "grow the sport" mantra and I look forward to seeing this field continue to be a institution for Michigan paintball.

Super fun, passionate employees. Great group of people honestly. We went there with a group of six on a Saturday and despite it being packed every employee interacted with everyone there on a very caring, personal level. They gave off a happy energy and it made it fun to be there. The fields are on the smaller side compare to the Lansing location but make for fast paced, fun games.

First time ever playing paintball I had one of the best times ever. I was really nervous and some of the staff and supposed regulars helped me out the whole way. Very amazing people. Awesome environment. Highly highly recommend this place.

Drove about 40 minutes to look at airsoft equipment. The staff were nice and friendly and did their best to find the right battery for my airsoft gun. They had the 7.4/11.1 Lipo stick batteries I needed however they only had tamiya connectors. I have a Deans connector on my gun. Unfortunately the only adapters available convert a tamiya to a deans, and im already set up stock with deans on my gun. which would be fine if they had deans batteries They just need either some deans connector batteries or proper adapters with a female deans on one end and a male tamiya on the other. I still bought a battery from here but im waiting on an adapter from amazon. Other than that the place was nice and professional! I would definitely visit again! I just need batteries first lol.

First time paintballing...with a bunch of teen boys...sons and friends. Nice place. Reasonably priced. Equipment and facilities well taken care of. Staff genuinely cared about our experience and safety. Recommend for a good time. Will definitely get your heart rate and adrenaline up!

This place is great! Shoot your friends, shoot your family, invite people who annoy you and shoot them too! Friendly staff, a great indoor course, and vood prices on rental and retail. Lots of options for loadouts depending on what you spend, a knowledgable staff. In house paint only, but decent prices on paint. Free parking, lots of staging space.

Team Michigan made and I always come out here for fight nights and tournaments, the paints always great, they have alot of staff so the wait is never long, the airs always clean and the bunkers are always kept up. Great place, definitely a go to spot of your looking to become a regular.

The staff said they were fine, everyone is watch very closely while playing. This time I participated and may have had more fun than the kids!

RIck and the staff at TC Paintball of GR are awesome. They got 4 teens to stop looking at their phones and have a great time with laughs and smiles for 3+ hours. I watched the kids play a few matches and noticed how much fun they were having so I decided to join in. The games were quick and fun. Everyone was made to feel included. We will definitely be back!

Friendly and helpful for first timers. We're hooked! Update: We had my son's birthday party there last weekend and had a great time running around like children for almost 5 hrs. The staff was fantastic the entire time, until we were leaving. One of our boys bought some stickers and was given incorrect change, he was too nervous to say anything because of the way he was treated at the counter by the red headed guy, that I assume is the manager. After spending almost $800 this left a bad taste in my mouth. We will be trying the Traverse City location next time to see if they know how to treat there customers better. Do you really think acting like you did and treating people that way will keep people coming back? I own a business as well and very rarely post reviews, but this goes to show, even if your having a bad day you still need to treat people the right way or you will lose business. Your staff however deserves 5 stars, maybe you could learn a thing or two from them.

Loved this place! Large, clean and well organized retail space. Tom at check-in was patient and helpful with our group of ten newbies. We were set up as a private party and had a great time. It was fast and fun and the refs did a good job of explaining everything. A totally new idea for something to do other than just the typical dinner and drinks, especially in the winter. I’m still nursing some bruises, but the fun was worth it! Go get your adrenaline pumping and try something new. It was also really cool to watch the pros play in their fight night or whatever it was called, way different league and fun to watch. The owner, Rick, was very nice and welcoming to our group as well. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

I went to TC Paintball in Walker last night with a group and we had a blast! We got to check out their indoor and one of their outdoor facilities and both were unique and wonderful experiences. Great and knowledgeable staff. Good for any groups or beginners but layer up to protect your skin!

They were extremely helpful and knew what they were talking about. The facility was well-kept, the staff were amiable, and they didn't gouge us on the price of the paint. Also, the teams weren't ridiculously unfair every time, as they paid attention to who the good players were and divided them up accordingly. I'd highly recommend them for open play :D

Went here for a group work outing and had a blast! We went early in the morning and had the whole place to ourselves which was great. We ended up going for two hours which was jus the right amount of time. I was exhausted by the end. The rental equipment worked as described and seemed to be in good repair.

Great people that work there. Excellent customer service!!! Sam is excellent when it come to any maker problems; as far as I have seen. The owner Rick is a player through and through. Just don't try to mess with his business. He will come down on like the rath of the man himself. But it is his life your messing with. So I don't blame him. All and all far prices and excellent staff. I'll call it my home field until I am done playing hands down.

it was trash the lady was tweaking made me end the birthday party early don’t waste your time and not tell after we left the manager gave us vouchers for next time we still got cut short of an hour and the masks do literally nothing other than cover your eyes someone got hit in the throat and the lady yelled at him for not keeping his mask on even after the game ended overall a pretty poor experience go if you want but i problably won’t go again

It was a day of great fun, but be prepared to spend extra, even if you get an all-inclusive type package. We had a group of 7 and they played all day on a Saturday. There were many other groups who rotated on the field, from beginners like us to sponsored teams. Our referee/director in the team waiting area was Josh and he was awesome: friendly, great with the kids and a heck of an artist on the schedule board, entertaining the groups with some intricate drawings of superheros etc. The ref on the field was not as personable, barking out directions, but he kept the players safe and kept the field running well. Overall, we spent about $175 more than planned, since we bought three more boxes of paintballs (2000 paintballs per box), but that was for over four hours of playing. I appreciate that you can bring in your own snacks and that they have snacks and drinks there to buy. We packed some snacks and drinks, but they ended up buying some drinks there, too. The waiting areas are not super nice, but there were enough places to sit. It's winter and it was chilly indoors, which was nice for the players, but I kept a jacket on in the waiting area. At first I was concerned about the down time in between rounds, but the kids seemed to have fun watching the other groups play, especially the "advanced play" sponsored teams, and they really did need down time for recovery between rounds. Overall, it was more fun than we had anticipated.

I come here at least once a week and great service every time. Paint sold at fair price. If you’re worried about how much it hurts it feels like a a rubber band flicking you but the pain goes away after like 30 seconds.

Excellent service, knowledgeable staff. The gear could've been more clean though. But if you bring your own I imagine that's not an issue. Only used the indoor section so can't speak in the outdoor area but indoor was as to be expected for paintballing.

Needed my tank serviced, and the owner was great. Rebuilt my regulator right there on the spot! He was also very knowledgeable about the sport/equipment. This is one of my most favorite places to play paintball. This place really made paintball became fun for me. Fight Night is a blast!

Great staff and Nice facility! Im an airsoft player so it was nice to see they have an indoor cqb course that is paintball splatter free! Their outdoor corse is decent size and fun as well but they also run paintball games on that course so you may get a bit of paint on you. But overall for a paintball field its clean and very fun! Saturday's is probably your best bet for decent sized teams unless your bringing a group.

Super fun, and EXTREMELY fast responses for questions! The only thing that would be better is if during the open play, the kids could have played more. There were a few parties and advanced players, so less play. But it was our first time, so we didnt know what to expect! My son DEFINITELY wants to make this a regular thing now!

Had a lot of fun playing the first couple games with a single private party with rental gear playing amongst ourselves. Where my gripe comes in is with the referees (perhaps just the one) though. On our third game we played against another better equipped rental private party team who cheated. They had full auto markers (which to be fair they paid for) and broke the refs rule of crossing the midline almost immediately. There was no enforcement to speak of. I'm not sure if I would attribute this to having the ref be a 13 or 14 year old who did nothing but stand in one spot and possibly was afraid to stand up to adults or just to company policy. I could see it being a lot of fun with people who played regularly and respected the rules. I may play again, but it would have to be a private party only playing amongst ourselves or with people who played regularly and took it seriously enough not to cheat. Do wear long clothes. A hoodie and jeans are enough to protect you from the worst of it, but in the summer heat you'd sweat to death. I can see why the regulars wear padded and wicking gear for sure. Also as a side note for the COVID era, enforcement of mask wearing outside of the play area is absolutely atrocious here.

Staff is casual friendly AND professional. They recently updated their obstacles inside and it's a blast! Season pass is the way to go if you're looking to go at least 4 times/yr.

TC paintball always has friendly staff and good prices on everything. Go as a private group which you'll need to call ahead to schedule a date or play in open play with different people. I always have an exciting time there.

Fare prices for the most part. Cheaper than most for open play but field paint only. Not a big deal because their paint is usually good. Buy back program isn't all that great even for store credit. Friendly and helpful staff that can help you with everything you need.

If you're into paintball or even just curious about it, this is your place to go. They have a huge selection of guns and accessories. A big selection of clothing and bags, barrels, gloves, vests...if it has to do with paintball, its here. Prices are even better than ebay on most things. Tom the manager is super helpful. Rental prices are reasonable and the indoor field is well taken care of. Stop by and play but be warned...its hard to stay away after you're hooked.

I love this establishment.... TC paintball is the only place I will go and spend my money for such a hobbies. The guys there really get to know you... Even remember who you are after not being there For a year. I walked in to play and they were on top of it... Even checked all my equipment for me.... I love it here and can't wait to be back with my normal group of people and to add my boys to the fun and experience...... Awesome job my friends...

Pro or looking for your first game these guys will get ready for the game..I even bring my kids here and they can play low impact on a smaller field( for kids I would suggest they wear a hoodie and slightly baggy sweatpants) yes it's low impact but still stings..
