The ball return hand dryers need cleaned or replaced, almost useless at their current air volume output. Otherwise awesome retro vintage place worth checking out. I love the bowling theme carpet & outlet in the back to charge my phone. Love the vintage decor and well functioning equipment. Steps are a little weird and inconvenient right down to the lane approach start. Nice staff, reasonable price($3/game if you have your own ball and shoes) & really nice availability in the afternoon on a Wednesday I'll be back! Looks like a game watching projector is there and a few dart boards also.

First time coming here. I have to say overall, these lanes are very retro feeling, I love how there are two stories, both have a different vibe. The customer service is great (they fixed some issues we had with our lane very quickly) and the price is very affordable. Appetizers were quite small (we paid 12.50$ for those two) and the lanes are a little heavily greased for me. Otherwise, great alley!

Came here for a game of bowling with a large group of friends. The staff did a great job checking us in in a timely manner and getting us a lane quickly, food prices were reasonable and the staff delivered our food in a reasonable time. The two stories bowling alley made the place look small but it can hole a lot of people Had a lot of fun and will be back!

Proprietor and staff were very friendly and helpful with each one of our requests. Whether it’s for open play or a business function, highly recommend you bring your group here!

Went here for a birthday party and had a blast. They was someone who catered the party. I think it was Clique Lanes but I'm not 100% sure. But they made sure we always had enough to drink and whenever we some how broke a lane by getting a ball stuck half way down they went and fixed it for us or whatever ended up happening. I am definitely coming back to have some more fun woth friends and family.

Clique is my go-to spot in town - while it may seem outdated to some, it feels nostalgic for myself and my buddies who tend to go there at least once or twice a week. The staff is always friendly and willing to help out where they can, and once they see your face enough they start to remember you as well. Great selection of beer for a great price, the bowling deals throughout the week and weekends are also really great compared to most of the alleys in the GR area, or just great in general. The ball returns have never lacked, the lane oil patterns are pretty basic and forgiving. Every time I go somewhere else, it’s only because I didn’t call ahead and reserve a spot. I’ll recommend Clique over any alley in town in my opinion.

I'd rather not say great things about Clique because if I do, it might be even harder to get a lane! 8 lanes on the first floor, 8 on the second floor, and fun all around. We didn't bowl much until we found this place, now we go every week. Also, the drinks are cheap and strong, and the food is better than expected from a 🎳 alley.

Fun small town feeling place with main level and upstairs lanes, bar on both levels. Our company has rented out the entire upstairs (12 lanes, I think) two years in a row for a fun afternoon of bowling, beer, pizza and a little betting on bowling! Great times!!

Drinks are cheap($7 light beer pitcher, $15 craft pitcher) employees are friendly and responsible. About an hour before they closed tonight a bartender was receiving shoes. I walked up for a refill on my glass of water, before touching the glass the bartender stopped himself and said "Ope almost forgot" he walked over to the sink and washed his hands then gave me a refill of my water. I've been watching a lot of bar rescue lately and a little almost unnoticeable action like that speaks volumes to the integrity and responsibility of this place. It's clean, the balls aren't greasy, the drinks are cheap and so are the games($2/person). My friends and I have started a weekly bowling night at this place. I highly recommend this place, they don't have a lot of lanes but what they don't have in quantity is made up in quality. Good job guys, I'm happy to spend my money here!

Clique lanes is a great place to go bowling as a group. The upstairs set of lanes with the bar is outstanding. Only downside was that it seemed the draft beer lines were dirty and the Oberon tasted like a Perrin black

Had an awesome time here for a team event during work. The place has two levels, we reserved the upper level which has its own bar. They also allow food to be brought in, for us it was pizza from down the street. The place is very well maintained and our group enjoyed the time together..even the rental shoes were fine! Price for a few hours of lane time was also very reasonable.

Super awesome time! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The Clique has 2 floors for bowling, and has a non-overwhelming feeling about it. Both floors have a bar to grab drinks. There is bumper bowling and they are kid friendly as well. What a great time! Call ahead to see if they are busy.

Pretty much what you'd expect for a bowling alley. The staff are quite nice and they have a good special on pitchers of beer. Worth noting that many nights there are leagues playing so often you will need to call to make a reservation.

I have been on a league, had burgers there (my favorite) but this past Saturday, I held a birthday party for almost 50 friends and family. Rented the entire bottom floor for 2 hours and it was hands down the best family party we have ever had. The service for drinks and food was outstanding and I even received a phone call from the owner Dennis a couple days later following up... That is amazing service... You guys rock...

Great Local Spot!! I hosted a company corporate event here for our staff of about 25. We were able to rent out the entire floor with 8 lanes which worked perfectly for our group. Worked with Dennis and he was amazing. Super helpful and accommodating. We were able to bring in catered lunch and he even help me set it up. Our staff had such a great time! They had good beers on tap and were so flexible through the day, checking with me multiple times to make sure everything was going ok. Then he even called the next day to follow up and make sure everything went as well as we had hoped. We will definitely be using them again in the future for events. Hats off to the staff of Clique for helping me run a successful and enjoyable event!

My friends and I enjoyed ourselves. Nice and friendly staff. Great prices. Would give 4.5 stars if I could. Only reason I would not give 5 is due to false advertising. They advertise 3 games and shoe rental for $6 on weekdays but the lady at the counter said it should not be advertised. They are doing regular prices to keep the place open during covid,so no deals.. regular prices are not bad at all.. so my friends and I didnt make a fuss.. but other than that.. love this place and would def.ly recommend it to others. Very small and cute bowling alley place. Def.ly make reservations.

This place just looked dirty and like it hadn't been decorated since the 80's. The outside was super shady looking, too. The food was so greasy, I was super nauseous in the morning. I know bowling alley food is usually pretty greasy, but I don't think it's ever made me that sick. There was just one girl working there the night we came in and the place was pretty full with two large groups. She wasn't very friendly either. She told us we had to leave at a certain time. She had to manage shoes, the bowling games, food, and beer. She was weird about it, too. So if you wanted to start a game and get beer, she'd make you wait for the beer and get back in line. I've been to much better bowling alleys, so I won't be going back to this one.

The outside might make you think that this place wouldn't be worth your time or your money but you couldn't be more mistaken. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful and the prices are fair. The upstairs is an awesome place to reserve for parties and has it's own bar. Would recommend to anyone who loves bowling.

This bowling alley is legit my favorite place now, nice classic horseshoe bar at the entrance and then there's a set of bowling alleys on the first floor and they have an upper level with another set of alleys I love the layout. Good music not too crowded and I was able to comfortably bowl my 3 games in peace lol. Which is hard to do else where honestly, if you're familiar with The Big Lebowski film then you'll understand when I say this place is very dude and the dude abides. This will definitely be a great regular spot. Not to mention great prices and deals especially weekdays, Im coming here after work from now on.

Clique lanes run some pretty good deals. Om Thursday nights after 9 you can get shoe rentals and 3 games for $6 a piece. You will have to make sure to reserve a lane because it gets busy very fast. They also have good deals on leagues and stuff through the summer. I enjoyed my time there and it was a nicer place than I had anticipated. I would for sure go back and would choose it over some of the other places in Grand Rapids.

Very close the Easttown area easy to find and there was a full bar as well as a grill and rather large menu ....5his bowling alley has two floors of lanes is very clean and a excellent reto looking atmosphere with the state of the art alleys and scoring devices! Highly recommend it for a good time with friends or family. Call ahead though as they have leagues and the lanes were filling up fast at noon when we where there

Their bowling alley is on two floors. If you go to the top floor, you get more privacy but you have to carry your shoes and drink on your own. Bowling games with drinks is affordable and the place is clean. Additional bonus: great location in downtown with free parking. So, if you are looking for quick entertainment with your office team or family and don't have a big budget, this is the place to try.

Really cool vibe here in an up and coming area of GR. Only a few lanes, but well updated and maintained. Found everyone here to be friendly, and welcoming to a bunch of new comers. Nice beer selection (major & craft beers, plus ciders) for the mix of people. We had a few snacks... cheese balls, onion rings, cheese sticks which were typical fried bar food, but done well (not greasy).

I drive across town to come to The Clique. (Pronounced "click") It's a dive, but clean. Friendly staff, great food, good vibes. They have nightly bowling specials and their leagues are fun too! Sometimes they fill up so call and make a reservation. ;)

We had a family night a Cliques a couple of weeks ago and my mom loved it, Well her birthday is 9/1 but she didn't want us to doing anything for her this year so we decided to get her down to Clique Lanes under false pretenses and when she walked into her daughters, grandkids, sister and niece's and nephews waiting to sing Happy Birthday with balloons, cupcakes and presents she just start crying happy tears. Too say the least my Mom had a ball!! Clique Lanes was very accommodating of our huge gathering, the food and drinks was excellent and the staff and atmosphere was warm/friendly!! I definitely will be going back!!

A west side treasure for sure, but the pin resetters were a bit janky on our lanes the last time I was there. I found it to make the experience more hilarious, but serious bowlers may not appreciate that. Still recommend for any casual group and/or fans of the west side in general.
