Great place got baseball and football fields(Entrance is on 18th st.) soccer & softball fields. (Entrance is on Ash Dr.) They have plenty of playgrounds and stuff for the kids that are not playing in games. Their concession stands are not bad at all.

This is a great place to host baseball games and tournaments. The overhead netting for pop fly foul balls is a great add and should be part of all similar layout parks. Plenty of for seating, whether you bring your own chair or use the bleachers. Parking can be a bit of a pain depending on the time of day. It’s nice that there are so many food options in the nearby area for weekend tournaments as well.

Soccer fields are great. Beautifully maintained. Parking is a nightmare. I circled around several times before a spot became open for a 1:00 pm game. If there are more than one tournaments running at a time parking should be directed to specific lots.

Great place to umpire softball and/or baseball. Play places are located near as well as concession stand in the middle with a decent selection. Only downside to this park is the distance you will have to walk after parking.

Great facility with the exception of parking. There's just not enough of it on busy days. The more experienced visitors will find parking easier off site and walk for a block.

My kids have played little league on these fields for baseball and soccer. The park is a nice addition when you have other little ones to take with you or after a tough game to burn some steam. Park is always clean and management is nice.

Great fields, convenient for mutiple sports in one central location. It's nice when we have multiple kids playing games at the same time & we can just walk from one field to the other. The only downside is the traffic flow & entrance/exit could definitely be improved to make it more efficient.

All those ball fields, are all busy! Very nice! Bring a chair and root for your favorite team. Be patient in the parking lot and 18th st. Play Ball ⚾️

Huge park. Its so huge that it can be hard to locate the field. We have attended three soccer games here this season and the grass is in incredible shape. Very well maintained fields.

Fields are always top notch which is why I am giving it a 4 vs. a 3 star rating. Sometimes staff aren't the nicest/friendliest bunch of ppl and parking absolutely sucks. I hope it gets better soon to help w/ the flow of traffic. I do question the decision making process of how teams & all-star teams are selected, as it feels like it might be "coach/dad" choices vs. actual statistics & objective biases. I would still recommend this league just don't expect too much. Our oldest son did enjoy his seasons in this league.

I can only speak for the softball part and the baseball parking lot because the day we were there they decided to have softball tournaments and soccer tournaments at the same time and parking was awful. If they are only having one or the other I am sure parking would have been much better. The fields are nice and dugouts were good. They need better/more bathrooms at the softball fields. Not sure if they are better on the soccer and baseball parts of the complex but the softball side was not good.

Fields are very nice. Restroom situation is not amazing. Adequate parking although you may have to make a little walk. My biggest complaint...giant black tarps up behind home plate that block a huge section of real estate for fans to watch the game or for picture taking.

Very nice sports complex for Ankeny Iowa. Like 15 you baseball fields, along with football, soccer, etc fields. Pretty impressive.

Great sports complex! We were there for soccer. Nice fields, but some are hard to find unless you see the one small sign pointing back to the fields behind the close ones. The concession area and bathrooms are nice and we'll maintained, and conveniently next to the playground. Google maps directions took us to the wrong entrance and parking lots do not connect. Luckily I had been here before and knew where I was going, so went around to the entrance on the east side. I like coming here for games!

Attended my nephew's baseball tournament here. Great facility. Plenty of parking and lots of fields. Could use more restrooms, or at least more stalls. Decent concessions but nothing spectacular.

Huge sports park with several basketball, tennis, and baseball courts/fields. Most of the baseball fields have their own bathhouses. There is a large pond system in the park that can be fished in. The park also happens to be the best Pokemon go location in the Des Moines area!

Nice playing fields for softball but concessions were out of alot of food. When you play 4:30 and 6:00 pm games the players need snacks or sandwiches. I had to go to Casey's to get my granddaughter a sandwich. Plus they closed before the last game was over so kids couldn't even get a power ade.

Parking and entry into the complex is less than ideal, pretty terrible actually. The fields, concession and other facilities are nice and well kept.

Very nice sports complex. If you are unfamiliar with the facility, take a little time online to figure out where you're going to park in relationship to where you play. It's huge and extremely well maintained. A real gold star in Ankeny's playbook.

we come from altoona to this pool! cheaper ($4/person), not so busy, and there's lots for kids of all ages to do! wish the bottom of the pool wasn't so scratchy, and the bathrooms could be a little nicer.

Nice park where a snow goose who decided to skip migration and mating season up north for Prarie Ridge Sports Complex! This a no feed the geese or ducks park by request. I only feed them there if I get a message about an injured bird there and there are few that go there that have injuries. None of the injuries documented have been deemed serious enough now to pull these birds out of the wild.

It is a first rate facility! We went as a family for 10u All State Showcase Baseball game and was delighted at the high degree of manicure of the fields. There is overhead netting in high traffic areas to protect spectators from foul balls.

Good setup with plenty of parking. Downside is foul ball territory between the backstops can lead to hospital trips. Pretty live action there.

We are so lucky to have such a great complex in Ankeny. The baseball diamonds are top notch. Concessions and bathrooms are great too.

I'm glad I live near by. My niece plays tournament softball there. So when I get a chance I try to make her games. Wish they had a breaking point in the parking so you don't have to go all the way down to get in another section of the parking.
