We had an appreciation party for ministry volunteers on Saturday, and it was a GREAT experience. Andréa made the planning process so easy and took great care of us the whole time. The food was amazing, and having our own space in the banquet room and VIP lanes made the event feel extra special. Our team had so much fun while being able to relax together and celebrate all the hard work they had put in. THANK YOU Andréa and Great Escape!

Great time at Bowlero Great Escape. We wanted to check out the place and see what the new owners had done. Brand new shoes and balls were awesome. We ordered pizza and burgers and they were delicious. The new milk shakes we are amazing. Kids had a great time in the arcade and loved the new dodgeball game. Staff was just as friendly as before and it was great to see everyone working as a team.

The best family entertainment center in Central Iowa... Maybe in all of Iowa! Arcade is reasonable priced and so many great games. Laser tag is incredible and offers multiple game options. The Kong VR experience is out of this world!!! I am not much of a bowler, but when I want to, this is the place I go. Lanes are perfect and super fast ball returns. Every time I ask my kids what they want to do for fun, they beg me to go Great Escape.

We had a good time here on Sunday, arriving around 11:00. A tournament was finishing up, so it was crowded at first, but died down after about 1:00. We had 2 adults and 4 kids, paid per person/per game. Friendly staff. Waitress came and took our order and provided excellent service. The laser tag was a favorite of the kids. Arcade area was small but sufficient for a bowling alley. The only problem we encountered were the patrons placed in the lane next to us that didn't appreciate the lack of bowling etiquette from young children, other than that it was a pretty good day.

Super fun place for the kids. Clean and well kept. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. The cost adds up quickly, but that's to be expected. It was a great way to get my kids out of the house and moving around while it's so hot and muggy outside. I just sat at a table and collected all the prizes they won. Win for the day.

We have signed our children up for a bowling league here, and they have a lot of fun. The bowling alley is well maintained and looks very nice. We have had a couple instances where we got shoes that looked like they should be replaced, but they will give a different pair in this case. The alley has no pro shop, which is the biggest negative I can think of here, and is the primary reason I didn't give 5 stars.

I visited with family when in town. Used the arcade, we were very happy with the selection games available. We played for over an hour and had a lot of fun. It was a little loud, but that is to be expected. We did not try the food or bowling, but both looked good. If in that area again, we would definitely go back.

The new arcade is very clean and well kept. The setup is great for kids around 7 and up, but still suitable for younger guests as well as adults. Joe was great talking with the kids on how to use the cards and do virtual reality and laser tag!

I am a big arcade fan and this one is awesome! Wide variety of games that are nicely spaced out. Laser tag is fun as well, if you are with a group of friends! The bowling area is well kept with plenty of room for people to hang around and talk while playing a game.

Prices are extremely high. I can say that the only reason I did not award 3/5 was the staff are always friendly and helpful. The arcade is slightly expensive as well but the quality of the games seems to be very high. Bowling lanes are perfectly spaced giving plenty of room on either side and makes the lanes feel much less crammed. Well greased lanes.

This was really a great place to take the family. It offered bowling, laser tag, and a good size arcade room. If there was a downfall, a few of the lanes were broken, and the arcade had a few machines that were being worked on while we were there but to be expected as there are a lot of loving parts to each game and machine. I would recommend this place to anyone of my friends and/or family.

I booked an event with Lena and she was amazing!!! She was quick to reply, answered all my questions, and was so sweet!!! She even made our group a sign for our private room! Denise was our server and she was beyond sweet!! I am so impressed with the service we received plus the quality of the games, and bowling! The food of course too was yummy!!! Thank you Lena and Denise for making our group event so wonderful and making sure it ran smoothly! We will be back!

Haven't been here in years. Place us nice, clean, lots to do. Went to bowl, lane 5 broke at least 5 times I our 2 1/2 game session. Had to keep walking up there to have it reset. To kick hassle. So on 6th break. We just quit. Mid game with a hr left to play still. Spent $50 in food also. But was ignored at bar for quit some time before getting noticed. Food was good. And hot.

The bowling alley staff were incredibly attentive!! The bathrooms were super clean. Hard to remember that I was in a bowling alley!! My food was good too (chicken strips & steak fries).

Didn't think service really existed any more, especially after 2020. However, the staff at the Great Escape proved me wrong! Service was above and beyond. I had made a request when we arrived to have a TV brought into our dinner area so that we could view a game being aired that evening. They had the TV but needed some component to make it happen. They actually sent someone out to buy that component, just so we could watch the game! From our arrival, to the time we departed, the service was non stop and excellent in all regards!!! Hats off to the staff at the Great Escape!!! Good reflection on the owner!

They had a great selection of games and bowling was reasonable, but higher price than many other places around. It does make sense because this is a nicer newer establishment. They have good deals for daytime bowling.

My son and I stopped in to scout the place out for a place to meet friends for NFL Sunday. We were warmly greeted by the owner (Randy) upon arrival who promptly got us to a table of our choosing. The place was immaculately clean, service was prompt and courteous, and the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced (my son had the BBQ bacon burger and I ordered nachos WHICH I THOUGHT WAS GOING TO BE ON A SMALL PLATE BUT CAME OUT ON A PIZZA PAN). NO COMPLAINTS! 😋 Like I said, we were there to check the place out to see if it was going to work out for our friends to meet there on Sundays. We sat down and had a clear view of at least 10 TVs. Can't wait to be back next week!

I don't know who is managing this place but they are doing a great job! The staff was friendly and helpful. Top to bottom they never missed a beat. Restrooms were clean. In fact, the entire place was clean, even though they were packed on a Friday night. I would strongly recommend. Keep up the good work!

Great bowling, lots of lanes. Arcade is typical with lots of variety, and not overly expensive. The laser tag is a bit small but lots of fun. Didn't go to the bar/restaurant though

Awesome Time. We had about 40 high schoolers out to Great Escape to bowl and play Laser Tag. We had pizza and tots and our Servers kept the food and drinks coming. Unfortunately I am awful with names, but Whitney, Denise and staff (we had a new person midway during our time) were all awesome in making sure everything went great. Great Escape completely ensured our event was a success. Price was also very reasonable. Thank you!

So improved! We had very slow kitchen issues last time we were there, which was NO reflection on the wait staff. Servers were excellent as usual tonight and kitchen actually had runners bringing out food quickly. I appreciate management responses to review. We highly recommend it.

This place will be amazing once they actually are able to staff it, felt bad for the folks working, but they did what they could. Wish it was closer to us, but will be here when we can. Kids enjoyed the arcade, food was decent for the price and the drinks kept flowing.

Social's Food is amazing for a bowling alley. The food comes out hot, always good and cheap during the week. The bowling alley is fun too. A little expensive but I understand that. Its always packed and the arcade is a nice small arcade with a few claw machines and a basketball game. The only issue is that the laser tag arena is fun but really small. Its about the size of a master bedroom including the closet and bathroom. I think if they bought the empty building connected to the alley and make that the bowling alley it would make the laser tag way more fun and way more people would come on weekends. Still a fun and nice place.

Been bowling here for a long time. Staff is very friendly, lanes are well maintained, and tons of fun had by all there. I believe this establishment is owned by the same family that owned Plaza Lanes, and it shows. Great place to go for fun.

My best friend's son had his 13th birthday here, and it was fantastic! This is a great place for all ages. My two year old and eight year old loved it. The thirteen year old and his friends had a blast! Even as an adult, I had a ton of fun.

I came here recently to go bowling with my family. We had to wait a bit to get a lane because it's very popular on the weekend but we went and had some beer while we waited. Really good selection of craft beer and the bowling alley was very nice. It was a bit more expensive than the other bowling alleys I have been to.

We had a great experience for my son's 13th birthday party. Our party assistant Abby was very helpful and easy going, we were late getting the party started and she allowed us extra time for our party ( note we were also the last party of the night, so I'm sure this played are part in it too!) All the staff was very helpful and friendly and made that party run smoothly. We did the Lazer tag party and the money we paid for the party was well worth the experience we had tonight. I recommend this place for kids and teens birthday party.

Took our four year old here to go bowling for the very first time. The staff was super accommodating in figuring out little shoe sizes and even helped to make our single game played more affordable with a coupon. We didn't order any food, but spent plenty in the arcade, lol. This was a family friendly atmosphere with many entertainment options, and we will gladly return.

We went here for our son’s birthday because we were here from out of town to go to Adventureland but it was too hot!! Thank you for making our son’s day so special and singing happy birthday to him! He had a great time and was not phased in the least for missing Adventureland!!! The crispy flat fries are one of the best fries we have ever had! Perfectly crispy and seasoned. We also ordered pizza, burgers, nachos and cheese curds that were also good. My only small suggestion is to doctor up that pizza sauce. It tastes canned or bottled which we use on homemade pizzas but we add a little to it for better flavor! Your staff is amazing! Super courteous and I couldn’t say enough good about them! Thanks again!

We held a small charity event at the Great Escape today and their Hospitality was phenomenal! They are the Kingpin for local bags tournaments and leagues, and oh by the way, their food we enjoyed at lunch afterwards was fantastic! They're thin wedge type french fries are unlike any I've ever had with seasoning that made the pile go way too fast from my plate! Thanks Brandon and Whitney!

It has been a while since I have been bowling and was very pleased with my experience. There is a wait staff that comes to you while bowling and you can order food and drinks. The food options are that of a larger bar and grill (not just snack type food).

My husband and I enjoy the late night bowling here just by ourselves, but trying to book a party is a joke. My husband tried to plan his father's birthday here and was not treated very well. I booked a bowling outing with some friends in the Vip section awhile back for this Friday and paid a big deposit, and was told that someone else was going to be bowling there instead and that I would be bumped to either a super late time or just a regular lane. And I wasn't told until the day before. Although I got my deposit back I am very disappointed with how unprofessional their booking system is.
