Never fails to have a great time here. The building is clean and has plenty of pool tables and things to do. However, the staff and food are really what makes the visit special. The buffalo chicken pizza and even just a cheeseburger are delicious at a reasonable price. Best of all, the staff members are a trip to talk to and very attentive to their customers. Keep it up, y'all are doing great!

I live in small town Delaware, but I grew up in inner city Columbus. I struggle with many bars because they are either to North Face or to John Deere. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this little gem. I travel around reviewing different places and trying foods to add to my google review, but I honestly forgot I was going into a review situation and just had a blast. The facility gives you enough space to breath. There are people of all ages and backgrounds. The bar tenders are friendly and it did not take three years to get a drink. The prices are very fair. If you are looking for a nice place to meet up with a big crowd for some fun, this is the place!

The guy behind the bar was rude a friend of mine, and they didn't have chalk for our hands when playing pool. I thought all pool halls had that. The beer was good but then again they didn't make that.

Really like this pool hall. the entrance is under construction right now but still, the tables are great and the prices are reasonable. The jukebox is a bit interesting (three consecutive songs while we were here were Eric Clapton, death metal, and hardcore rap). Overall, a fine place to shoot pool.

Went on a Wednesday when there was karaoke. The selection of spirits raised ours and inspired song 😜. Pool and darts are an option but at the time we showed up they were all taken. The staff are hospitable and diligent but beyond that they are generally fun and entertaining. Bar food can get a bad wrap. The pretzel bites are definitely edible and when you're drunk and just want some quick hot food they do the trick. But the pizza tho! The pizza was amazing the night we were there and pretty inebriated. My friend has since been back and tried it with a more sober state of mind and has confirmed that it was indeed a really great pie.(context: He routinely tries new pizza places every Friday. If that helps)

Friendly staff and fair priced drinks. Tables are in desperate need of new felt AND repair. Short rail cushion on our table wasn't even attached causing the balls to ramp off the table whenever they came in contact with medium speed or above. House sticks are garbage. Whats up with the ceiling falling down?

The tables are well maintained, the staff is top notch. It's a quiet environment, and you don't need to watch your stuff constantly like at other pool halls. Dan has worked hard to established one of the best, if not the best pool in Central Columbus. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have tournaments every weekend, and the table rates are the most reasonable in town, and that's factual. Overall, there's no reason not to play pool at cushions. It's win / win.

The place was definitely not set up for large tournaments first of all. The ceiling was falling down in more than 1 spot and the prices were outrageous. The staff there was all extremely friendly and quick on their feet.

First time visitor to Cushions. We were having a diaper party and everyone agreed this would be a good place as we all like shooting pool. The place is very open with a well stocked bar with a nice selection of domestic and imported beer. Quarter tables on the top level and I believe hourly and league table on the bottom level. TVs at the bar for watching sports. Very clean despite doing some remodeling. The bartender was friendly and quick with drinks despite our large group. Drink prices were not expensive at all, I drink Newcastle and expect to pay a premium but that was not the case here. While not being very good at pool our group will be back and we had a great time! Pop a shot basketball game and a jukebox.

The people are great. Cool tables. I like the wooden racks. Was too late to get in the tournament. Had to be in the tournament to participate in the break and run, but that's okay. Staff was really friendly for an out of Towner in a local bar. Didn't get treated like the new person. Got treated like a local.

We have been coming here regularly for 6 years - favorite pool hall in town. We have met some amazing people here, and the owner and staff are awesome. Drinks and prices are great, and love playing on the Diamond tables. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to play some pool or just come out for a drink and a great time!

All the bar staff are great and so friendly! This place makes a great bar burger and has an excellent variety on tap. Lots of pool and darts, or just sit at the bar for an entertaining chat with a funny-as-hell bartender. Trivia on Monday is riotous and super exciting, karaoke on Wednesday and Sunday is always full of talent, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Great spot for Pool! TONS of tables; both bar-size ($1.25) and full-size by the hour. The drinks are well priced and very well poured. The karaoke was a cool experience, even though I didn't personally participate. All around, a decent atmosphere with a good crowd.

This is by far the best pool hall in town! I’ve been a regular for the past 7 or so years, the hourly rate for billiards is more than fair or you can pay by the game on one of many quarter tables and the staff is outstanding! If you’re not into shooting pool it’s got a lot of other upside as well such as karaoke nights,darts,arcade basketball and great food and drinks.

Great pool hall. Clean establishment and great tables. It's a little small compared to some of the other billiard halls in the area, so it can get a little crowded on league nights. However, this simply shows that it's a popular place to hang out. I have no problem with that. I have a lot of fun here and visit frequently.

I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone. Excellent waitstaff, excellent food, the best pool tables money can buy, and very clean restrooms/bar. Couldn't ask for a better area to go out and feel safe. The owner cares about his patrons. I've even seen him drive people home because they've had one too many drinks. If you haven't been, this is a must visit poolhall. To say I am in this place all the time is an understatement and I will continue to be a frequent guest

Visited after a double date, it was just like it was years ago. The people were nice the Guinness was cold and the tables not expensive. Got right in and played 2 games 2 beers $20. A fun way to end the night.

I was checking this place out for karaoke night for my twins group (and, no I do not sing) so hubby and I went on date night. I was pleasantly surprised. The ladies bartending were beyond amazing (giving me ideas for my gathering, talking like we were old friends... picture Cheers without the cheesy lines), the drink prices were very reasonable and they had something for everyone (lots of pool tables and darts, juke box and tvs for sports fans).

I have been coming to this place for over 6yrs now. Pretty laid back. Out of the 6yrs coming here I've only seen 1 fight which was because two people were drunk & ignorant. There was a time once where there were some subliminal messages thrown at me & my fiance regarding our race by another patron. This is a predominantly white bar/pool hall. FYI

I wanted to edit my review after a couple of trips to this pool hall / establishment. I want to first say, if youre an avid pool player or even a beginner.... you cannot find a better, more friendly (to all skill levels), with a better atmosphere. Also, its not a bad thing that Cushions has (hands down, no arguing there) the BEST equipment in Columbus. Not to mention their tournaments on the weekends are well oiled, with very little down time, double elimination, and the payout is top notch. A1. You can find everything from friendly players on the next table over that will play casual games, to the cash game players that will happily give you action. As a fellow masters player, I can say honestly that theres no real reason to go any other place. At all. I won't go into details and name any names (out of respect, but i think we all can guess the other pool halls and establishments that im talking about). And the icing on the cake is that Dan, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. (and he can shoot, don't let him fool you). no other establishment in the city of columbus will you have an owner casually shoot with you, greet you, occasionally just chop it up with you because hes a solid owner. Through and through. Cushions billiards attracts the clientele that you feel safe around. The type of individuals that you don't need to watch your stuff constantly out of fear that it might get stolen when you go to the bathroom. (like at 8 ball *Cough*). and just when you thought things couldn't get better they have, by far, the best soft tip darts league in town. with some casual players, but also some real wolves and killers up there that can throw tacks all day. so for those of you reading this, what are you waiting for? get up there and play some pool, have a drink, and throw some darts. also make sure to say hey to dan. then youll be able to see for yourself that everything i say is true. see you all up at cushions!
