I had a great time there today. We took our church men's group and rented the place for an hour. The price was good, and the staff was very helpful. We had all axes and no ales, but they had a good variety of soft drinks for us. The staff said it gets a little rowdy in the evenings, but it was very chill while we were there. The staff were very accommodating to our group.

This place has great sandwiches, so far I've tried 4 different options from the menu and they have all been very good with quality ingredients! Service is top notch, even when I noticed other patrons being "picky" for lack of a better more polite term. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a good lunch spot. Also they are leagues better than the competition a few blocks away coughjimmyjohnscough* 😂. Edit: I'd also like to add that these guys need to teach other places how to make good bacon, because it was pretty much perfect.

Fun place that provides a unique local experience. Staff is friendly and welcoming, location is clean, and drink and snack options are solid. The upstairs game room also provides a nice space for less active outings.

Great little place! I'm in the axe throwing league in Lexington so a few axe related notes. 1. They do not allow you to bring your own axe (understandable when you see #2) 2. The lanes in each pit is much shorter than I'm used to (like 8 ft instead of 13+) 3. The provided axes are the tiny 8 inch variety (which works fine with the shorter lane) Friendly staff and delicious beer (ON TAP!) make for a great place to throw. When I was there they charged by the pit by the hour with up to 4 people per pit which is a great deal! For new throwers it would be nice if they had some more people working that could help coach newbies. Nice place though and I'll definitely be back!

Decent selection of beer, staff was very friendly; it was our first time visiting they were helpful. We will go again, they have a selection of games upstairs, could be a fun way to meet new people on winter afternoons!

I LOVE this place!!! The staff is super friendly and informative, the ranges are safe and enclosed, the axes are dulled and the wood is kept fairly moist to assist in the axe sticking in the wood (for that extra bit of fun)! I had a Blueberry drink from Odells and it was soooooo good! Highly recommend this facility!!

This place is fun!!! They have a 2 drink maximum and you need to wear closed toe shoes when participating in the axe throwing. The owner is very knowledgeable and he and his partner Walk around during the throwing time to offer tips and guidance to make your throwin skills better! They have a deli if you're hungry, I didn't get anything, but it all looked very tasty. They offer a variety of beer and local wine! Try the blackberry Merlot, it's fantastic!

Axe throwing is a super fun and relatively inexpensive activity. The team here is great : they provide instruction, hands on help for anyone struggling, as well as simple pointers for different styles of throwing. The good at the deli is really good--these are hearty, Boar's head sandwiches. Best and wine are also available for purchase. We used it as a team building activity at work and everyone had a great time.

$40/hr for 4 people is a great price for a unique experience. The staff was helpful and willing to help teach us to throw even though we were all pretty bad at it. However, the food and beer is so expensive, eat before you get there.

This was definitely one of the most unique things I have seen. We got a recommendation for Axes and Ales from a local and had to check it out. The staff, Donny in particular, were very helpful. Held a great conversation and showed us exactly how to throw. The people next to us said they drove over an hour to get here. I would definitely recommend Axes and Ales to someone looking foor a good time in a casual place.

This was my first time axe throwing and it was a blast! They have food and drinks as well. The guy working there was very helpful and offered me suggestions, which were desperately needed! I will definitely be going back there.

Really fun place to grab a beer and catch up with friends! Axe throwing is such a unique attraction, this is a great place to take friends visiting. There is also a board game section upstairs with various games

As far as the food goes the chicken salad sandwich Was good could of use some 🍇 😉 The red wine which i ordered two different types were not tastebud friendly ... I would of preferred A blueberry or blackberry which they didn’t have ... The axe throwing ... which is in a safe location in the back For me I wasn’t into the loud clunky noise it just didn’t pair with the ambiance of 🍷 However it’s different and some people might enjoy something different to do and the noise wouldn’t bother them I prefer drinking listening to music and not hearing the axes as background noise.
