Reviews of Steriti Memorial Rink
We went to this place this week to do ice skating and it was wonderful!
The place works from 3 p.m. to around 6 and you can go there do skate for free.
You can bring your skate or you can rent a ice skate for 5 dollars.
The place is very organized and they stop sometimes to clean the ice!
They also can provide boxes to help people who don't know to skate yet.
The have place to eat/drink inside of the place and is not to far from north station t station.
It was a fun experience. The ice was nicely shaved when I went there on a tuesday from 12p-3p. It was also a decent price. You can bring your skates and get on the ice or you can pay for $5 for skate rental. Ice skating is free. Very nice price will come back here again. There may be a lot of kids from school and little kids learning how to skate. So it’s like for beginners but also have to watch out for the others. It is also accessible through the train station. Parking is hard to find if you’re lucky enough you can park right on the same street as the skating rink. The street cleaning you need to watch out for the hours. If not park somewhere close to Regina’s Pizza which is only a 5 min walk from the rink. North end of Boston, will come back soon!!!
Come on down for public skating. Ice is great and a great view of the North End while you skate . Get a bite to eat and a hot chocolate. Yes there is skate rentals for the public. There's a Bocce court too.
Awesome skating rink. As a beginner I found the timings and price very reasonable for public. They have it open for public on weekends which is very convenient.
Great facility for free public skating. Snack shack is cash only, but otherwise it’s a great spot for free public skating.
Wonderful public rink, no cost of admission and five dollar skate rentals
Skates here are much better maintained than the ones in the outdoor rinks at DCR Kelly
Best public skating rink in Boston! The ice is just the right consistency, and there are floor to ceiling windows to give a lovely view of the harbor. Also, they always make sure to have skate guards during public skate, which is nice.
I LOVE coming here. $5 skate rentals, the arena is huge and just no hassle at all. There's restrooms, rest areas and even a little shop to buy snacks at.
Only 5 dollars for skate rent and you can skate until it closes. Not to mention the nice view of the harbor and refreshments from the store beside the rink. Definitely worth coming for!
It was a great experience. Well maintained. We took public transportation to North Station and walked for ~ 10 mins to reach this place. You can rent the shoes from there and it inexpensive. There is no time limit and you can skate as long as you want. They have small but usable rest rooms. They have plastic cartons for beginners to hold on to and skate. There is also a small snack bar inside.
I would imagine it's difficult to park around here (I live nearby, so I simply walk to the rink), but other than that, I really like this facility. As a woman who plays in a male-dominated recreational hockey league, the rink manager has been very considerate and accommodating in making sure I have a private place to get dressed. The ice is good quality, and the panoramic views of the harbor from the ice can't be beat! I don't think I've ever been to a rink with a view!
Great ice skating for all ages and levels. Indoors and less crowded than the Frog Pond. Skate rentals are $5 and the rink use is free. Check the times because local teams and events make use of it. It has accesible amenities and a small bar that offers conforting hot beverages and some other treats.
This is hands down the best skating rink in Boston and I can say that with some authority. I made it a project to visit every skating rink in every neighborhood of the city, and many beyond, and this is the best. To be fair a lot of the rinks in the city are old and not in great shape. There is a lovely view of the harbor while skating and unlike the frog pond its free to skate and only $5 for skates.
I have been to a LOT of rinks and this one is right at the top. Great ice making from the friendly Zamboni guy, clean, plenty of daytime light...truly awesome!
Boats are also a great love of mine but I was so busy enjoying the rink I didn't have time to take in the beautiful harbor and boat scene right next to the rink.
Looking forward to returning for a fun family skate.
Needs reservations for the 2021 season. Skates can be rented, but they accept cash only. Friendly staff and fairly smooth ice. Would come here again.
Love this place. Beat free skating place around Boston. We love to go there for free public hours in the evenings, and after walk to north end to warm up with few drinks and desserts.
The only problem is parking. You need to be lucky ;).
Well maintained and very cheap. There's no hourly rate so it's free if you have your own skates. Otherwise it's only $5 to get a pair. Never too crowded either.
Kids love it.. and its free entry just rent skates if needed
Nice smooth ice surface. Only drawback is nowhere to store your stuff, so everyone leaves stuff on the benches, unless they have someone accompanying who can watch it. Rink is about as cold as the outside. There are bathrooms.
A nice and cheap place for ice skating.
Had a great, great experience skating here recently. Good prices, excellent quality ice. Views of Boston Harbor were such a huge bonus. Can't wait to come back.
Steriti hosts our curling league on Sunday nights. It's actually really good ice for arena curling, the ice technician is awesome and really takes care of us. Beautiful space, wheelchair accessible, awesome rink.
My go-to ice rink in Boston for recreational skating in the winter.
Skate Rentals are $5.

Nice and spacious ice rink! Bring an ID and $5 in cash for skate rental!
Fair prices if you want to rent the skates. If you have your own no fees whatsoever. Well maintained and smooth arena.
For a 3 hour session, the ice was made twice, (at the start, and 1hr30mins in), which made skating more pleasant. The skate guards were actively looking out for dangerous skating, unsuspecting children, and salmon skaters.
Amazing Rink for Public Skating: Note Public Skating Hours for the 2016-2017 season are Monday through Thursday 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Friday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Skate Rentals are available during all public skating hours for $5.
My kids love this rink more than anything. I refere this rink then any other one. It is indoor is great so we don't freeze and has really yummy hot choclate. I love this rink!!!!!!
Daughter and friend had a wonderful time. My wife and I had a lovely time. Not to busy and not empty. Great person running the show!
Its an indoor skating rink .. amazing .. and really good.. free entrance with $5 rentals. Highly recommended .. Really enjoyed there and would go there again and again!!
Good, cheap local fun. $5 to rent, free skating if you have your own skates.
Amazing ice rink right on the water on the edge of the North End. Well worth a visit if you want a good place to skate!
Good ice, clean locker rooms. Street parking is kinda tough depending on the day but there's a few garages nearby.
It's open skating time, rentals are $5. Pretty simple to skate here and there are snacks sold as well.
It's free to skate, $5 rentals, can't beat that. Nice facility. Downfall the hours
Really cheap and never crowded, only bad thing is they don't have the diamond to sharpen skates yet so last time I went the skates were really bad
Fun charity event inside a skating rink!
Open skate. Good family activity. Take the T parking is available for the hardy wallet.
It is so fun there because there was the cuties guy and he help me how to ice skate and balance the skate.
Affordable price or if you have your own skate you can go for free
Very nice place, beautiful scenery. Inexpensive.
Best indoor ice rink for public skating located in the heart of Boston.
Could have better public skate hours but it’s free so who can really complain.
Here for opera performance with BLO. Great facility! Always clean and will maintained.
Staff is always friendly, great location! Our family loves Steriti!
Super cheap for ice skating, great service,
Shoes are bit uncomfortable
Love this place. It can get crowded but not to much. Check out the bocci ball!
Best ice skating rink I've been to 💕 …
Amazing price and good hot chocolate. Only downside is its pretty busy.
Great rink, friendly staff. It costs $5 to
Love the views while playing a game, tons of natural light during the day
I look forward to The Taste of the Northend event every year!!
Good place to enjoy skating with friends and family.
Its pretty cool being able to see the ice rink from the street.
Definitely worth the $5 for skating
My favorite ice skating rink in the area!
We had a great time there. Great place
People were sweet and the price was amazing
Great teachers for skating lessons for kids
My experience here was nothing less than amazing
A nice place for the kids to skate
5 bucks is a really good price
Near the molasses, I remember I skated here in ‘84
Love the windows opening up to the water

BEST SKATING IN BOSTON!

Jic
Amazing ice rink that’s open to the public for free at certain hours. They offer paid classes for beginners. This facility is close to North End T station.
This is a well-sized rink and spacious rink. I recommend going there during the early hours of the free skate sessions. Skates are $5 CASH ONLY, skate sharpening are $5, and they sell snacks as well. It overlooks parts of Charlestown and is well lit during the day and night. They also have crates for children and beginners. Hight recommend. Just a 4-5 minute walk from TD garden/North Station.
great cheap place to skate all time you want
This was absolutely awesome
Blew my expectations. When I was visiting Boston, I already knew what city center ice rinks were like from my experience in New York. But the rink was clean, the skate rental prices were more than reasonable, and the rink itself wasn't crowded at all. I went on a Saturday night, mind you. The rink is a great place to check out if you want to ice skate after a long day exploring the city.
