Just went for our first trip to this range. All employees are friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean. Every employee we dealt with were very knowledgeable about everything having to do with safety, guns, ammo and range conduct. I've been to many many ranges and this range really is top notch and so is everyone who works there. I found the guns and ammo to buy to be a bit pricey for my tastes, but nowadays that's pretty much everywhere you go. My wife and i will definitely be coming back to practice more often.

Very nice indoor shooting range at Owings Mills. We took their holster safety course Jason our instructor was wonderful. It was fun, brief, concise, straight to the point, teaching vital things you need, and nothing you don’t. They offer other firearms trainings as well, and was planning to enroll in one, in the near future. Like the fact that they offer online reservations for firing lanes, I just go there when its my time. Pricing is fair for the kind of facilities they have. Range officers make sure customers practice safety at all times. Electronic target placement, with distances you set at the push of the button. Will try the rifle range next time. Friendly employees during check in, nice lounge area, they also sell guntry apparel at their retail shop, and firearms as well. Haven’t gone to the cafe yet. Check their website for membership, pricing, class offering/lessons, firearms rentals, reservations.

Great customer service from the moment you enter the facility. The online reservation makes the process simple, no waiting around to get a lane. State of the art equipment, amazing simulation room and their store stocks all your shooting needs. And you have to visit the Cafe' at the end of your range time, delicious. I recommend the shrimp Flatbread or shrimp Po Boy.

This is the place Anxious to check out Guntry, which made the visit better, having a new firearm that I haven't used yet. Professionalism from the front and to the lane section. Reserved a 25 yard lane online and all was set up when I arrived. Met a couple of seasoned members that assisted me with tactics. They have an enormous amount of gear and all that you need for the range. The are organized with three words Safety first, Safety second and Safety Third. I will definitely return.

Had a fantastic time @GUNTRY a few weeks ago. I walked in off the street and was able to pop off a few hundred rounds in the pistol range. They had plenty of options to choose from and I left a happy camper. It wasn't cheap, a little pricey even but keep in mind I'm not a member. Loved it there and will repeat if ever I end up in the Baltimore area again.

You have to experience this. All the staff is so nice and improved greatly by the end of the hour because of Ivan and Bud. Greatly nicely upon entry, had to go to the registration station to sign up, afterwards around the corner for a short safety video. I reserved a 25yard lane for $23/hr. I was wanting people so I stopped in the Cafe. I ordered the chicken alfredo Flatbread plus fries for about $15. It was okay, would love to have tried the brisket or Buffalo Chicken dip sandwich. Other food pictured is the smash burger sandwich with fries. Told Rick my prior experience was with a glock so he made a suggestion. For the earphones, gun, 2 targets, and 2 boxes of ammo it cost close to $95. I think it was worth it.

I went searching for a gun range to take our employees and their spouses to for a day of team building and expressing our appreciation, little did I know how AMAZING Guntry was going to be! From dealing with Paul to schedule the VIP room for our party, to Brian and Alyssa rolling out the red carpet for our event, to the range safety officers helping us all, our event couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was great too! The space and facility are top notch. We were able to bring our own guns to shoot as well as rent some to try out. The event went so well, we have already booked our next trip to celebrate our annual Christmas party! Thank you to the whole team for being so magnificent to us! See you soon!!

One of my teachers, Mr. Brent said that it was made to feel like a country club but for people who love guns. That is exactly what it feels like. They have all of the amenities. Gourmet cafe, food was great by the way. Great service upon entering. Sales department was very friendly and knowledgeable about every gun behind the counter. They have everything you need for your weapon, clips, holsters, travel bags and cleaning products. They also clean and repair. Multiple ranges for handguns, rifles and shot guns. Great classes. For a gun range it’s very state of the art. The best is the informative teachers that are great with safety and really love guns. They love what they do.

We were looked after throughout our session, provided with responsible, attentive and competent instruction and tuition. What a great place for practice shooting. The employees are very polite and professional every time my wife and I go there. This was my first time coming to this range. My friend was already a member so he made sure i went online and watched the mandatory videos and filled out the paperwork, so upon arrival the only thing left was a photo, quick and easy. Upon entering you are greeted and ask the pupose of your visit and. Heck in, hopefully you went online and reserved you spots,otherwise your probably SOL. Range was clean people nice and very knowledgeable, willing to answer any and all questions you had. Great place to visit,would highly recommend!

I love being part of the VIP group. Lane access is easy and always available. The lounge provides relaxation and the opportunity to relax and have conversation with others after shooting. Every Sunday a couple of us shoot and then enjoy the food from the cafe. The staff at the store are always very informative and have lots of knowledge about the different guns and products available. I have taken multiple classes at Guntry and the instructors are great. I am very happy with my membership with Guntry

I've been to the range many times and it's easily the best indoor range in MD. Reservations make check in so easy, and you know that you'll have a lane. Retail section is nice, though not as much selection on actual firearms as other shops. Cafe has good food, an amenity I'm not aware of at any other indoor range. I recently completed my MD Wear And Carry class and had Brent Spooner and Jason Salyards as my instructors. Class was informative and a good brush up on some fundamentals. Class size was not overly large so questions could be taken and individual attention given where needed. Special shout out to Brent, who on Day Two of my class, took some time separate with me to fine tune my Red Dot. First class service all the way. Amazing facility. Highly recommend.

This range has become my go-to place to shoot, purchase new equipment, and simply just hang out. The staff is all extremely knowledgeable, down to earth, and always willing/wanting to help you out. If you haven't been, you NEED to ASAP! I have not tried the cafe so I cannot offer my opinion on their food, but I plan too soon. **From what I've heard the food is amazing.** Hooyah.

This is a very nice state of the art range. I've been a few times and have not made it to the cafe, however, I heard the food is amazing as well. The staff is very helpful and they don't charge much for transfers/FFL. If you are looking for a new place to practice, this is the place!

1st visit, everyone was really nice. While on the range the men spent a lot of time making sure I was comfortable loading and shooting. I gave 4 stars only cause the gun kept jamming and instead of switching it out they kept showing me how to unjam. I was too afraid to do anything extra besides loading and shooting. But they were more patient with me than I was with myself.

Great facility. Very clean. Friendly staff. Indoor range is legit. The only complaint I have is that I asked for an itemized receipt after my range session. I was told I would get it as an email and never received it. I also rented a firearm but that firearm misfired and only shot 3 rounds before I switched it for another. I believe I was charged for two instead of getting a replacement for the one that didn’t work. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Guntry is by far the largest and most upscale range I’ve been to. The staff is very professional and friendly. When purchasing firearms or FFL transfers they run a tight ship and make you schedule a sit down for paperwork processing and pickup. Not my favorite part as I’m used to a more laid back purchasing process but I completely understand they have a lot on the line and can’t risk any mistakes that could cause issues with their license. Prices are very reasonable for the level of service and access to such a great facility. Highly recommend but if your used to a more laidback range, just be prepared to follow some extra rules.

I am blown away (pardon the pun😆) by how professional and patient my instructors were with all of us in the 10/17/2022 and 10/18/2022 CCW class. I am totally green when it comes to firearms. Never shot a pistol in my life! But because of the excellent instruction from Dean and Brian I got over my fear and managed to get a high score on my final shooting test. The facility is well thought out and HUGE! There is a Cafe that has really tasty food, plenty of parking and very helpful front desk staff. If you want top tier training go to Guntry. It’s so much i could say about Guntry’s. The staff is kind,, helpful and accommodating. The facilities are great… well lets put it in perspective, i drive at least an hour and pass by many ranges on the way. I am considering asking Santa Claus for a VIP membership ! lol

This facility is state of the art, and has many amenities that most ranges do not. I would give it 5 stars except for one thing… every time I’m on the 25 yard “pistol” range someone is shooting .223/5.56 in a lane near me. I don’t understand why this is allowed on the 25 yard range if shotguns are not. I tried to train my 11 year old daughter here, but she hates being next to ARs blasting away. I’ve taken her 3 times and all three someone was in the lane next to me with an AR. It would be great if ARs were limited to certain hours or to one side of the 25 yard range and the opposite side was only pistols.

Took CCP class - sure it was another money grab. Class was amazing- learned a ton but thought myself an “expert” but left humbled and educated with the information I needed to continue. Could not recommend higher. This is the place to go if you actually want to learn and develop your skills. Highly recommend.

Everything is good, except the guy in the back where we rent guns and rifles! He’s YELLING AT ME … LIONELL, if u saw this, you could’ve said what u said in a whole different way without yelling and my experience would have been excellent . Yelling at customers isn’t the right way to treat them, even if u think ur advice is correct, it’s up to me to take it or not. My aim was really good, ur opinion in me because of what u think is irrelevant, therefore, let the customer pick and pay for what they r comfortable with. Other than Lionell's attitude, everything was perfect.

This place is awesome!!! My fiancé and I frequent Guntry for mini dates. We enjoy the atmosphere, the staff is knowledgeable and very helpful, safety is paramount for each staff member no matter where they work within the facility. The only thing I wish they would add in the future are just a few lanes with steel targets.

The facilities are always cleaned and well maintained. Came here for a two day conceal and carry class with Wilson Brothers Armory. Dope class and a dope facility. Front desk staff are sweet and helpful. Facility is well kept. Food is Great and food service staff are friendly. Great facility all the way around. I just got a membership with them and can’t wait. VIP area is top notch. My experience these last two days was a 10/10!!!

I took my teenager daughter for her birthday and it was FANTASTIC. It was her first time at a gun range and Bud, the firearms instructor, made it a very memorable experience. He really took his time to explain weapon familiarization and safety. Even after my daughter become comfortable handling the weapon, Bud was still there to support her every single step of the way. We had a company/customer happy hour at Guntry. It was a blast and everyone loved it. We toured the facility, used the simulator and everyone got a chance to shoot both handguns and long guns under the supervision of professional instructors. Then we had dinner and byob. This is now one of my favorite places. The facility has indoor pistol and rifle ranges, a gun store and a grill/restaurant. The personnel are friendly and helpful. One cool service they provide is pistol rental. This allows one to try before you buy. They offer a variety of classes ranging from gun safety, shooting, self defense and martial arts. I obtained my Maryland HQL from them and I bought my first pistol from their online store. They helped me navigate all the paperwork and acquire the gun. Range officers are in place at the ranges to maintain safety and are helpful with question. Many of the folks there are ex-law enforcement so they are knowledgeable and happy to talk. I meet up there regularly with a friend, we like to shoot then have a tasty lunch at the grill. I find the basic membership is well worth it but you don't need to join to shoot there. It's well worth checking out.

Very nice place, very clean and very professional. Only issue is that they DO NOT, again, DO NOT offer military or police discount for anything unless you are a full member. I asked 5 times to three different employees if they had police, military and veteran discount and each time I was told no, unless you have a membership. Cost is on the high end but I guess that is what you would expect for such a nice place. Clean atmosphere, I did not hear or see any bad behavior. I would recommend this place if you can afford it.

Drove about an hour or so to get here, very clean and organized. The rifle Lanes are divided in groups of 5, includes benches, seats, rifle rests, foam blocks, and sand bags (kept on a shelf in the room) and also have a quiet observation room for guests that also has a sink and lead soap. Also includes some nice spotters cameras at 75 and 100 yards. They are a bit pricey for walk ins but the basic membership seems affordable and reduces hourly costs a lot.

This place is absolutely amazing! For anyone who wants to get comfortable with firearms and learn how to shoot the right way this is the place you want to be! You do not want to go anywhere else. They do things here the right way and always make sure safety is first. All their instructors have great credentials and experience (see their website). You won’t be disappointed. As a beginner this is the second range/firearm facility I decided to check out-I decided to get a one on one private lesson session with my firearms with Fran and really learned a lot (give this man a raise!!!). Fran is a very professional, extremely knowledgeable and dedicated instructor and to have the chance to train with him was an honor for me with the experience he’s had-great personality, he’s non intimidating and encouraging plus I was shocked to learn how many incorrect things I was taught at the other facility I had first visited. After Fran showed me the proper ways to handle my firearm my accuracy improved drastically. They will show you everything you need to know and not give you some bull as a way for you to come back to find out more and they work with you until the end of the session. I plan to go back for a second session with my other firearm and most likely will drop by to practice. They even have a cafe and the food is great! You will walk out of there feeling more confident and comfortable with your firearm. Well worth the money and time (if I had the money I’d get a membership). The website doesn’t lie and they offer many different classes you’ll want to check out and teaching options. Wonderful experience, great facility, highly recommended! I completely loved my visit.

So I have been to indoor ranges over the years, both indoor and outdoor; Guntry, by FAR, is the best of them all in Maryland! The staff at the front desk is friendly and accommodating but what really stands out is the professionalism and genuine helpfulness of the RSO's and counter staff. I feel completely safe within those doors and they are always willing to share tidbits of support and knowledge. I was so impressed with the quality of the work done by the smiths that I have left my toys with to adjust and sight in, that I became a member of the club! I really enjoy every visit I have there and encourage anyone to give them a "shot". Every guest that I have brought with me has raved about their time there, but novices and very experienced shooters.

Amazing indoor range. I used 100 yards multiple times to sight in my 350 Legend. Staff was extremely helpful. Specially "GIMMY" was exceptional, and very generous. He helped me sight in my iron sights at 50 yards, I could not imagine that he asked me to use iron sights at 100 yards. I hit bulls eye back to back @50 & 100 Yards with out further adjustments. I love the way GIMMY walked me through the process and even helped me. FIVE STARS FOR GIMMY as well. Definitely recommend this range.

I'm not really sure what I was expecting from a gun range, but the food was out of this world! Ribs and Crab Cakes?? What?? And....REALLY GOOD Ribs and Crab Cakes!! I'm going to stop by JUST to EAT!! They have an amazing Chef(Paul) and the menu is well thought out with a great variety of food. One of the owners(Brian) gave us a tour of the entire facility. The whole place is AMAZING. The V.I.P. area is like walking into a Country Club and the space can be rented for events and party's! (That was for my wife....wink, wink) All in all, I was just blown away. Guntry....you have yourself a new customer!

Top Notch Facility, was able to meet one of the owners and he walked us through every aspect of the site. They use state of the art air filtration systems, something I have overlooked at indoor ranges before. The 100yd Range is a sight to see, let alone shoot on! The facility is top notch and the staff is very friendly. I gave 3 stars because I feel that the Guntry nickel and dimes their cost at times. For example they had Guntry stickers on their desk that they charged for. I felt that I was paying for their advertisement. Also at the top of my hour I was not allowed to start shooting until an RSA showed up but they were late and then I had to leave once my hour ended. I would love to increase my rating but I feel for the price they could improve.

This place is absolutely amazing. If you've shot other ranges then you know most places have very rude staff. This place on the other hand is definitely a country club for shooters. There staff is very friendly and knowledgeable they go out of there way to make your experience great. I had to test the other reviews for myself and ill say all the other 5 star reviews are spot on. From the moment I walked in the lady at the front counter was friendly and helpful. I went back to the range desk which also works as a shop for glasses headgear gun rentals ext. And the guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful we had a long conversation about the facility and what they offer and he answered all of my questions. I plan on bringing the kids to check out there state of the art simulator which is absolutely next level. If your looking for a great place to shoot ill tell you, this is the best place around hands down ill recommend you guys to everyone I know who loves to shoot. Also they offer memberships which give you discounts all over the facility plus free unlimited range time for the pistol range if you want to shoot scoped rifles the 100 yard rifle range is very cheap with a membership.

GUNTRY is My favorite place to go shooting. Only improvements I can think of is the teaching of new shooters. A video isn’t enough to teach new comers the proper way of shooting a firearm. I feel like every person who’ve never been to a gun range should be given 10 minutes of hands on gun training before their seccion.

The facility is fantastic-very attractive. The technology is up to date, if not cutting edge for a range. There are tactical simulators and an auditorium. Masks are obviously optional and not worn by many staff members. They were all professional and courteous. Was disappointed that I couldn't use my much less expensive buckshot (as opposed to slug) at this facility while training, but the student rate (what I paid being with my private instructor)was very decent. I will be back.

Exactly what we need right now but not for the reasons you may think... First, as soon as you enter, you are greeted and made to feel like they are glad to have you there. The staff is awesome! They are extremely knowledgeable and very patient with questions and offer excellent explanations. The staff is also diverse which was very good to see. There are people who are young, older, male, female and various ethnicities. Also, each time I visited the facility the customers we’re diverse as well. People we wearing anything from cowboy boots with mud on them to fresh Jordan 1s and everyone was engaged in conversation talking about their collections, sharing experiences offering advice and whatever else. It’s almost as if the environment the owners created fosters a type of unity which was refreshing to see especially now. Their wide selection of merchandise became more interesting as conversation pieces which makes ownership more alluring. Second, let me say that the facility itself is amazing. It looks like a gun shop and firing range you would see in Orange County California. I’ve never seen anything like it. This place offers way more then other places like it in the area and makes you want to hang out and chill. If you haven’t been there yet it’s worth the trip.

Great touchscreen target trolleys! The only thing I haven’t tried yet is the virtual simulator, but I’ll update my review soon!

I have been to this facility twice now and I must say that I love it. To start with there is a lot of parking. Next when you first enter you are immediately greeted and offered assistance. Each staff member is helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. On my first visit I attended a class that was very informative and prepared me for what to expect. I was pleased to learn that Guntry offers many classes that are knowledgeable and affordable as well. On my second visit I used the range, checked out the store, café and VIP section. Overall I am greatly impressed and will be visiting this facility often. I highly recommend them. Lastly I did work with Fran Brown at the range on my second visit. He is so patient and full of knowledge. We had a great time and I learned a lot of great techniques from him.

Beautiful and welcoming facility! It's awesome that you can make an appointment for a lane and not waste a bunch of time waiting for one to open up. Unlike most ranges, there's no political propaganda that might make some feel unwelcome. I've never been able to say I feel "at home" at a gun club because it always feels like some kind of old boys' club. This place is totally different and they run it like a true, professional business. Can't wait to go back!

I've been to indoor ranges in multiple states, and Guntry is hands down, the best I've seen. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Membership is well worth the price if you shoot twice a month or more. I do recommend making a reservation if you plan on visiting on a weekend, and arrive at least 30 minutes early.

The 100 yd rifle ranges have video for your target so you can clearly see your hits without bringing the target in to check it. My husband surprised me on my birthday with an experience at Guntry and what an experience it was! Guntry was newly operational and there were zero kinks in the process. We were warmly greeted as we checked in, assisted while we completed our computerized safety training, and educated on the various selections of pistols. The SRO Jay was friendly and provided great advice and tips as we began target practice at the range. Other clients were friendly and overall the space was safe, clean, friendly and had an awesome vibe. After shooting we decided to grab a bite at the cafe.... the food was delicious!!! and was in a brightly lit room. After we finished eating they surprised me with the most delicious lemon/blueberry cheesecake. Very thoughtful! They provide private and group classes and had a full group prior to us arriving. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this facility. It’s centrally located to a lot of other places (movie theatre, hiking trails, restaurants, etc) so for me.... it makes an ideal “day of activities” for a great date or group outing. I’ve visited this location on multiple occasions (7-10 times). We have experience equipment failures (target retrieving system) on numerous occasions. Stay clear of lane 18 at all cost. To know you equipment it’s the working properly and still make it available for use just isn’t right.I work to hard for my cash to pay for malfunctioning equipment. I’m in search of another range.

Purchasing a firearm from here is unnecessarily long and unorganized. My mom wanted to buy her first firearm so i brought her here. Big mistake purchased the Shotgun on a Tuesday they dont tell you until after you purchase the gun that you have to make appointment to do your paperwork which was two weeks out. I understand they have no control as to how long the background check takes, but a process that should take 1 maybe two days takes almost 3 weeks. That's ridiculous...

Let me start by being clear here; this is an excellent range with great, modern facilities and overall a great place to shoot. The 25 and 100-yard ranges offer some the best experience in Maryland. Booking reservations online is a complete game-changer as the fee they charge for the regular membership is more than worth what it costs for all the benefits it comes with. What separates a "good" place from a perfect range is the staff and the quality of the team which at Guntry is varied. I've been there on some days, and every single staff member is professional, helpful, and patient. I've been there on other days, and some of the staff are just like your typical gun store/range. Gruff, and annoyed with you even existing. This is fine for the folks who work behind the store counter since at most gun stores, and it's acceptable to roll your eyes and be annoyed at customers. Sometimes this is justified given what some customers put you through. But for range safety officers, you should not have inattentive bored RSO in any context. That's part of what makes the NRA headquarters range in Virginia so good. They have fantastic Range Safety Officers. Some people dislike the NRA range because of how attentive and strict they are. Guntry's good RSOs are as attentive as NRA but more welcoming and understanding of people than some NRA staff. I think it's essential to have that distinction as what separates a range that is worth a VIP membership of $5,000 a year + a $5k initiation fee to one that is just as good as some of the others in Maryland. I still think Guntry is still one of the best in the region, but the differences in staff quality hinder the experience. These are things you expect and just live with at normal ranges but not at a place billing itself as top tier.

Guntry Gun Club of Owings Mills is great place for beginners to novice shooters. The staff have been very welcoming everytime Ive gone in. Some places dont always make people of color feel welcomed. My only suggestion is, dedicate a specific register for the retail section. The waiting for the one or two employees bogged down by registration or people looking at firearms can be very annoying. I would likento make a purchase and leave, not wait 20 mins.

So far, trying to call is zero chance of getting anyone. The booking online isnt great as their mobile page is glitchy. Might change my review tomorrow is everything goes the way it is supposed to. their page could have more info on it as things to know before you go. stay tuned Update..... Had a great time here. this place was well thought out. Staff is nice and very helpful. I hear there were phone issues with a new phone system....
