Worth every dollar! So much fun for all ages. The staff are friendly and helpful. There’s enough activities for kids and adults alike. From the trampoline to the arcade, the bowling, sports courts and batting cages; it’s such a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Much better than Dave and busters! Very fun games, good cheap ice cream, and good priced karaoke. Workers are kind and fast. Actual food like the pizza is definitely not great but good enough to satisfy. Games are always up and running and claw machines are a treat. They always have the newest Japanese machines that are a great surprise.

Very fun arcade and entertainment complex, conveniently located within Cumberland mall. Has a variety of familiar arcade machines, as well as imported Japanese arcade cabinets including fighting games, rhythm games, and gundam shooting games. You can also play bowling, ping pong, pool, and more in the sports area, in addition to the already extensive arcade area. Food and beverages are available at the concessions area, but considering you are already at the mall, I would just go to one of the many dining options that are already available. There is definitely something for everyone to do, so you’re guaranteed to have a fun time.

We had my daughter's 15th birthday party here last Saturday and everything was simply wonderful! The staff were exceptional, especially our party host Kenneisha, as she truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything went off without a hitch!!! The variety of things to do is unparalleled in venues of this type around town and the kids are still taking about it a week later, especially the karaoke and bull riding. I'm really glad we chose this spot and will be back!

We really love coming here! Sometimes the games malfunction or aren't working, but I think the staff tries to get them fixed in a timely manner. The coin games are my favorite! We'll keep coming back and maybe try the other activities they have sometime. Also, the guy at the ice cream counter makes the most perfect and round scoops of ice cream. I know that's not the highlight of this place, but I had to mention it!

Fun. Glad we went during the week. It wasn't packed. We boweled and played arcade games. It's a big place with lots to do. My kids enjoyed it. We will be back.

Come here if you love Japanese rhythm games! They update their selection of games semi-regularly and have a lot of fun songs. You can also buy an ID card that corresponds to the game at the front desk to save your progress.

WhT a great place to take the kids and let them run free. The have a lot for the kids to do. They have your normal food choices pizza/wingz fries things like that. They have an unbelievable $.99 cent ice cream. The shake season fries are a good selection also. Get the unlimited pass and you can walk in and out in to the mall and shop then come back for some fun. The massage chairs are magical for the adults 😭. The free arcade is great as well but the have a arcade side that isn’t free and there is way more games over there. We will be back.

I love this place!! My baby loved the bowling alley for kids! He was 2 at the time and he was able to play with everything! The SpoCha section was so good for kids and worth it. They also have massage chairs while you’re watching your kids

The arcade and bowling alley closes at 2am on Saturday night but they stops selling new cards at 12am. However, the security guard and manager are very nice and they let us in to take a look. Great experience and will come next time earlier.

This arcade is at the Cumberland mall, which is within walking distance from the Renaissance hotel. Did the sports challenge for 3 hours for about 27 dollars after taxes. Used a computer kiosk to purchase the ticket and sign the waiver. Then a friendly lady informed me how to use the facilities and told me when to scan out. I also was given socks to use for the trampoline. The sports challenge had various activities including mini bowling, mechanical bull riding, basketball, putt putt golf, volleyball, roller skates, baseball, and even a small arcade under freeplay. Most of the games I played were working and great condition. It was unlimited play, but please limit to one to two turns at a time if others people are waiting. There was safety gear for the activities, but I didn't see it enforced but (I think they care more if you are being safe). The place was not crowded when I was there around Monday at 12, so enjoyed a lot of the mini bowling and the bull ride. When I was finished, I scanned out and was done. The staff were friendly when I interacted with them. But would love to see more staff to help on showing how some of the activities worked. Overall, was a fun 3 hours for less than 30 bucks. Would love to see one in Orlando as well.

This place was a lot of fun... Different games... Lots of activities... Wont be bored going on... The other side.. had bowling.. skating... And so much more... The arcade side.. was a bit pricey... I guess it was worth it.. fun wise.. but you dont earn many points on most of the games... So you cant afford much from the arcade.... But it wasn't many people here.. which was good.. didnt have to wait for any games or anything... They have a really nice bar... Plenty of different drinks to choose from... They sell food.. ice cream.. icee slushies... Pizza... They also do birthday parties... Its a great location and its inside the mall.. so you can do shopping as well... Nice spot hopefully I can make it back again.. all fun and games

OMG my daughter and I had so much fun here we will be going back a lot but will be taken the boys our girls day out wasn't over to 2 am they had so much to do for her an myself even had a bar for me to get drinks in a place for her to get food ice cream and more this is now our new go to place to get our minds right

Great spot for arcades. They have a huge focus on Japanese cabinets since this is a Japanese company. Ton of rhythm, fighting, and racing arcades. They have some areas for pool and bowling as well. The food is also relatively affordable. Also ask the staff to help the with plushies for setup and how to win them.

This was our first visit to Round 1. My 2 girls ages 9 & 17 loved the arcade. They had a lot of the claw games & many other games. The bowling alley looked like fun & they had skating, hoverboards & other things to do. We were just passing through on our way home & didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked, but my oldest daughter wants to go back on her birthday. We will definitely go back soon.

Nice place for adults and children. The pricing to game is more reasonable then other places I've been to Atlanta so I'd definitely go back. I believe they offer food and beverages here as well. Watch your step, I kept tripping on the carpet at times like it was catching my sneakers or the floor is not level in certain areas. Some of the games did not work but took points off your card as if you played. Bring this to their attention.

Clean and new facility! The front portion is bowling and games that can be paid per game. They have $10 for unlimited 60 mins for certain games (including Mario racing, motorcycle, shooting or air hockey / excludes claw machines, etc). Or you can buy 120 credits for $22 which includes all games. The back section is unlimited play which includes trampoline park, skating, video games, bull ride and etc. The video games in the back section were not as nice or well maintained, a lot of them were out of order. I didn't try any food but it looked reasonable at .99 for ice cream and $3.99 beer during the day.

Summary: Not terrible, but expect very long wait times and many broken machines. Every line took 5-30 minutes to get through, whether for game cards, bowling, alcohol, or food. The food wait was the longest, with 20+ minutes to even place an order and then another long wait to get it. The bar was even more understaffed than the rest and closed early. Bowling was mostly fine, the lanes and booths seemed in good condition and were clean. The machines weren't very accurate however, they made several mistakes of either adding extra or not counting pins on every game. Several regular arcade machines were broken, but all the pay-only machines were fine. The non-broken ones seemed to work fine as well.

My fiancee took my daughter and I here last week and we had a great time. It's connected to Cumberland mall so easy access to grab something eat. But just wish that they had more selections for younger kids ages 2-7

Games and concept is very interesting. HOWEVER, if you come out to order food, DONT get alcohol, otherwise you can't come back in even if you pay for unlimited. We paid for unlimited, came out for food 15 minutes and got drinks, then upon return was told we can't come back in. Never was told stipulations. We could have waited for the 1 drink per ID. A waste of $56

Really great arcade, sad the UFO catchers are gone but not a big deal. They have a good variety of rhythm games to play and decent variety of prizes in the claw machines, the only issue is the employees. Like another review said half of them are cool but half of them clearly hate their jobs and as someone who works in customer service myself I totally get it BUT at the end of the day it is your job. Also, don't bother trying to play for points for any prize that's locked up because you won't get it. Each time we've been there's been a different excuse but other than that the rest of the arcade is worth it for the price you pay.

They're getting around to putting in new games, but getting a drink and food can be a pain and you can't leave the small eating area. No food or drinks in the game area. Bowling is pretty fun, though. However, it can get very busy at night, quickly.

I went during the early evening! Security was present. Tons of traditional and international games. 99 cent ice cream and bowling (about $5 a game, $4 shoe rental). I would suggest the membership if you'll be there more than once. Most games cost about 8.00 credits or more. Spo Cha had fun options as well, including hover boards.

Ok so this is my first time at Round 1! We originally planned (by we I mean, my adult daughter and her three children along with my two teen son's) to spend our time at the Main Event located down the street from Cumberland Mall. But when the staff there suggested that we try this new place because they had an hour and a half wait time we jumped on it. Y'all! They have E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G you're looking for in the coolest setup! I possibly would have given them 5 stars if they hadn't been out of wings AND pizza at the same doggone time at the food court! Geesh! However, the chicken strips were pretty ok and the nachos met the basic fare standard. Check this out though... The prices are On POINT! There's no gauging going on and actually a couple of things on the menu are "value" priced like .99 scoops of ice cream and soda refills are 1.00! Cheapskates like me can actually live it up here! Overall, this place gets a Wink from Mama as good, clean fun for the whole family!

I wish I had SpoCha when I was a kid!! This was worth it for 90 min!! I was able to teach my husband how to skate, beat my kids in all the racing games, and finally experience a hoverboard!! All for no additional cost!! I love this place, especially in off-peak hours!!

An arcade with amazing rhythm games like ddr, sound voltex, pump it up, drummania, guitarmania, and more :D They also have many standard arcade games, like pop the lock, and a fighting game section. I personally haven't experienced the other attractions, so I can't say much about them, but bowling is per person based, so if you're coming with less people, it is very cheap.

This place is amazing! Never seen an arcade like it... Ever! Great weekday specials... Great staff! I would be here all day trying to name everything you can do here. I've never seen a karaoke room or badminton and volleyball court in a place like this before.😯 I mean, you name it, they had it! Bowling, basketball, pool, everything... 🎱🏸🎤⛹🏾‍♀️🎮🖖🎳It was clean, spacious and the food was decently priced. Hot pizza and cold beer.🍕🍺 I had a good time. I can't wait to go back! Shout out to Lance! I can't remember the other names but the entire staff was awesome. I'll see em next week when I return.

Went for the first time for a birthday party. The place is huge. There is definitely something for everybody. We went early so it wasn’t crowded. There were no wait times on the different Spo Cha events. Everything was clean from the different areas to the bathroom. The only thing that needs some work is the food counter. But it just looked understaffed so they did do their best to get food out in a timely manner and the staff were very pleasant and interactive with the kids. I would def recommend for birthday parties or just a family day out. To me it tops Main Event.

Original Review July 2022: The selection of rhythm games is top notch and the cabinets are all very well maintained. For those of you who want to know what's available here rhythm game wise, they have DDR A3, DDR A20+, DDR X, 2x Pump It Up XX, 2x Beatmania IIDX, 2x Gitadora, and several other smaller machines I'm honestly not familiar with. About the only rhythm game they DONT have here is a Dance Rush cabinet, which I hope they add in the future. January 2023 EDIT: They have added a Dancerush Stardom cabinet to this location! I'll also add that they almost always have a tech on hand ready to fix any pad issues on the rhythm games. I've been coming here 2-3 times a month since I originally posted this review about 8 months ago. Awesome spot for Japanese rhythm game enthusiasts.

This a cool place for an indoor family fun day. There are a variety of activities so that everyone will have a good time: bowling, batting cages, arcade games, a bar, pool tables, trampolines, roller skating, basketball, volleyball, soccer, putt putt, badminton, and I'm sure I left something out. There are 2 separate arcade areas: one in the spo-cha area where the games are included in the price and one in the general area where you pay to play each game (and costs per game is high af if you compare it to a D&B). The bowling area was super clean and organized but the food is not in that area (hence why it was clean). The food serves its purpose to make sure you don't starve- not the best, but not the worst either. I would def return.

Had a blast going here! Wish there were more variety with the claw machines though. This is the only place with plushies worth getting. Thought they were just lacking because of the newer location (compared to the stone mt one), but read reviews to see that they got rid of them! PLEASE bring them back!! At least a third of the games were out of service or ate our "coins". And personally I think the games at Dave and Buster's are better. The bowling is fun, but even that was super buggy and wasn't counting points properly. We had to edit the points at least 4 times over the course of two games.

Amazing!!!!!!! If you are looking for a family outing, this is the place. From the outside, you can not tell how huge this facility is. Upon walking in, we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of activities Round 1 offers. Our family choose the unlimited Spo Cha which includes, free video games, skating, hover boarding, trampolines, mini bowling, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, ping pong, billards, kid zone, karaoke, and 4 massage chairs. We had a ball and will be returning!

Amazing! Took my niece and nephews, ages 7-15 and all of them have something to do. Enjoyed Spo-Cha, as well. Arcade, bowling, Kid-Zone, trampoline and skating were the highlights.

I think 3.5 stars would be my honest review but the staff’s courteousness can bump it up to 4 stars. Went here for a day date with my husband. Lots of games and activities that were fun and varied. I haven’t been to a game place like this in years so I felt like it was slightly expensive (I’m thinking of when machine games used to be 25-50 cents…). The food was good but it took awhile since they had forgotten to turn on the machines and I think they were training a new staff member. Karaoke room was fun and I like that it’s in the mall so we could shop or eat a real meal if we wanted (and we did). Seemed clean and safe.

When we arrived it wasn't too crowded and the girls (17, 9 and 1) were able to thoroughly enjoy themselves. The price was GREAT for everything that was included. We went to the sports side. I was a little disappointed that several of the games were in Chinese or were not working, but they had a blast trying to figure it out. They enjoyed the sports side so much we never made it back to the regular side. This was a fantastic place to take the girls. It was clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they really promoted safety at the different stations. I would have liked to see more wipes, but there were hand sanitizer stations. I am looking forward to going back again!

Pretty decent, great for kids. A lot of different activities. Staff were a little unhelpful. The food stand was very slow. And we waited 2 hours for a spot to bowl which we ended up not doing because it go so late. I would go back just not on a weekend too crowded.

My BF & I really enjoy coming here. Its lively and full of kids, that can be a challenge...at times. We love the air hockey tables and are very competitive with the array of Street Fighter/Tekken type games. The bowling is pretty fun too! It makes for a great date night or family game night!

If you are coming for the arcade - it's great! Good variety and plenty of multiplayer games for friends or single player games from light-gun, to rhythm, racing, and even some pinball. If you are coming here for the karaoke - I would be skeptical, I've now tried to make use of it 3 times and they've been some sort of "down" each time. If you are coming for bowling - pretty good! The balls are relatively well sorted so you can find the right weight for your build and size for your fingers fairly easily, the rate wasn't bad, AND if you happen to be less-skilled they have plastic dinosaur assistant to help roll the ball (for the kids in spirit and in shape).

Had a great time here with my family! They have tons of video games, with many of them being Japanese releases that are exclusive to Round1. There are also a lot of claw games and ticket games if you're interested in that sort of thing. They also offer bowling but we didn't do it this time. My only complaint is the food they offer. I was expecting something along the lines of what Dave & Buster's has, but it's just arcade food served there. Burgers, pizza,ice cream and the like. One good thing is that the ice cream is 99 cents a scoop and is pretty good quality! Yes, I'll be back there in the future.

The concept sounds cool but being in a mall but its almost too packed to enjoy. The food service was so slow that people were getting out of line. They weren't taking orders at all for about 20 minutes. I'm not sure what the issue is but to spend all that money and you can't even eat is crazy.

Got teens now 13 &14 they enjoyed spo-cha very much and the 190 min package seems to be the best value deal in my opinion unless you don't care to bowl or play around in the other arcade area most of the staff were helpful and the establishment was nice and clean there's also a bar for adult refreshments I forgot the bartenders name but he was cool

I have a lot of fun here with my nieces. The restroom is always clean when I go, and everything is organized well and if you enjoy some Japanese games please come over! You do have to buy a game card to play that stores your points so you can get prices at a later date if you want. The weekends are pack so if you do go you might have to wait some time for your chance at the more popular games.

Not going to lie, it’s SUPER noisy but I love the Japanese imported games (no, seriously even the instructions on how to play are written in Kanji). You’ll immediately walk in and be shocked, as the place is even bigger than it looks. Spo-cha is perfect for your child’s birthday party or any celebration. They have a bar for the parents to get some peace after listening to screaming children, requests for more coins to play arcade games or tantrums after not having enough tickets for a toy. It’s worth it, though. So glad Cumberland added this place during the pandemic!

This place is awesome! I usually use pocha You can play cool Japanese videogames for 90 min for really cheap price! However some games in stocha has some problems. Time crisis 4, 2nd players' guncon doesn't vibrate, deadstorm pirates, 2nd player's gun is broken, the aim will stick in the corner, most importantly maimai(aka laundry machine rhythm game), the game wasn't updated, so it has limited amount of songs(so plz update the arcade🙏🙏)

A very nice place for family, as long as you don't plan on eating there. The entertainment is great, however, the food service is horrible. I paid for a 90 minute play option, thinking we'd be able to get in some play and food. Unfortunately, I waited in line well past 90 minutes just to order the food. I didn't get to enjoy any time with my family and ended up not ordering the food all together because the wait was still extremely long. They have two sides to the establishment and each side has its own kitchen. However, if you plan on visiting the spo cha side, ordering food will be complicated being that the kitchen isn't open on the side and you'll have to exit to order food the other side, walk it back to the spot cha side, and pray that you didn't forget anything. There are tons of ways to fix this problem, I suggest management start looking into it.

Kids love it, and I like they have a bar so while my kids blow off se energy I can grab a cocktail I'm the two hours they kill time. The batting cages need a little more upgrade but again for the cost it's fun.

It's definitely a fun option to D&B The play packages are interestingly priced though. A little more complicated than necessary. Food selection pretty basic and slightly over priced. But the all you can play timed card was worth it.

This place is great for fun with your kids. Around $20 pp to get unlimited entertainment for 90 minutes. Being able to move freely from one activity to the next is perfect. Time flies in there.

First time at a Round1, and we had a blast! A few of the machines were broken, but we moved on and found other fun games to play. Bring hand sanitizer if you want to disinfect your hands every few games and don't feel like walking to the restroom or the rewards shop to clean your hands.

Do not book a party online here. Just meet your friends and have fun that way. Booked a party online and from the initial booking, to the confirmation call, to making changes, to check in, no one seemed to be familiar with the fact you can book online. When we arrived we were informed they had no idea a party was coming. This is when we met RaShyia. She calmly told us she would get it handled, and she did. It took a while but she got us our cards and we put in an order for our pizza and sodas. There was some further confusion when not enough pizza was brought out, and even though I was very rude to her, which she did not deserve, she kept it professional, reached out to her boss, and got the problem solved. If not for her I don't know what would have happened. Maybe I would just be out the deposit I put down. Big thanks to her, and apologies for being so rude. The whole thing was very frustrating but it wasn't her fault. She fixed everything. The staff is really hit or miss. Some people just ignore you. 4-5 members of our party stood at the bar waiting for drinks, but were not even acknowledged for over 10 minutes and just decided to do without. The staff in the redemption room was very friendly and helpful, especially the blonde guy with the piercings. I saw him around a lot, always seemed to be on-task, doing something helpful that looked like work. Many other employees just walk by you where you are standing, obviously waiting for help, and just avoid eye contact. Many were just having conversations with each other or security. Finally I wish to comment on the actual content. The pizza was surprisingly great. We were served a pitcher of soda water because the sprite was out of syrup and despite asking it was never replaced. Luckily we also had coke, so whatever I guess. We all love arcade games and they're very fun. Many are expensive, or broken though. For an American Arcade it's very well maintained. I love all the import games and rhythm games too. It makes sense for a Japanese company, I just wish the customer service was a bit more Japanese to match. Overall, big thanks to RaShyia, her boss on the phone (who I'm sure was at home when she called), and blonde piercings guy. Disappointed by all the hitches, and next time I won't book a party. I'll just tell all my friends to meet me there. We still had a great time, but actually booking the event didn't add anything but annoyance and frustration to what was an otherwise enjoyable experience. If you go, go casually.

Very fun place to go and play rhythm games and any other style of arcade games. Lots of play time for the price. They stay open late too so you can come back if you want to go out and get something to eat. Highly recommend.

This is a decent place for a family outting. There are plenty activities to do no matter the age group. As we know, most places have take aways. The things I noticed here is that the massage chairs aren't all operable so you can't relax the way you'd like If you decided to watch your little one slide in the ball pin. Also, the 3D game is missing 3D glasses so you can't get the full experience of what the game had to offer. Please be ready to pay the entry fee rather you plan to join in on the fun or just want to watch your kids. I don't think this is ethical because there are pregnant women that have other children but is unable to enjoy anything there due to her condition, yet they feel like you should pay too. It's robbery by force in a sense because your child cannot enter without an adult so you're forced to pay.Overall good place to hang and chill if you needed a break and if you can afford to hang back and watch your little one enjoy their time.

I'm here pretty much every other day. I love how organized all the arcade games are. Rhythm games on one side, Ticket games in the center, Fighting games, and racing games. I normally play Dance Dance Revolution. The mechanics really do all their ability in order to take care of the machines. One complaint I have is that the ticket counter really runs short lots of time, Not really a good variety of prizes. Don't even bother getting food on a busy day the lines take really long. I think it has something to do with only one window open at a time. In conclusion a really amazing place to come hang with your friends/family or bring someone on a date if you're competitive. On a busy days try to find alternative options for food.

There was nothing impressive about this place, except Spo-Cho which I did not get to experience. It is expensive and the tickets do not redeem for much. If you do not plan to experience Spo-Cho, go to Dave & Buster because they at least have deals. Dave & Busters allow you to walk around with your drinks, this place does not.

I really enjoyed a lot of their japanese rhythm games, but unfortunately some of their machines were out of order, and the controllers for gunslingers stratus cabinets were all broken or unresponsive, and the staff didnt seem to show much concern for maintaining the machines. Great arcade with all sorts of games. You've got the ticket winning games, the crane machines, the rhythm games, the racing set ups, and the Japanese imports. Best and Greatest! place in the area to take your kid’s especially if you have different age groups. They have all you can play area that is worth the money! Basketball, football, soccer, baseball, tennis, etc, free unlimited arcade games, motorcycles, skating, too much to mention... You need at least 3-4 hours for full experience. Had a blast! There are free massage chairs too! The manager Rob is a great down to earth guy who really understands and gets customer service!

I am very happy with the selection of activities that they provide. From the bowling to the Japanese rhythm games they have almost everything you want. If you want to save data from the games they do provide nfc cards you can buy at the games desk. If you are looking for a long time investment of time there is also an area which is payed per hour or unlimited for access to a sports area and a free to use arcade. For me I got plenty of time for about the same price with the rhythm games. Everyone there was wearing a mask. I am also super happy about how clean it is. If a machine was not being used I would see staff cleaning it. I will be coming back in the future to try out more stuff. I had alot of fun.

One of the few places in GA where you can play Japanese Rhythm games. Sadly the price per game of most of their arcade is overpriced and numbered in such a way to gradually eat up more money. 6.4 credits ($1.60) per game on average, for real? Another unfortunate part is that a large majority of their games are ticket games designed to offer very little playtime for the money. The other half of the venue is kinda worth the money. For $20 you can play putt putt, roller skate, do batting cages, bull riding, basketball, volleyball, miniature bowling and gain access to a separate arcade with exclusive games with unlimited plays. (pro tip, there's a japanese drum and guitar game on the pay per game side that's addicting but is always busy and gobbles credits. They have it on the free to play side so you can get good and get your fix).

Cumberland Mall- How do you run an establishment like this and have no food to serve? Clearly there was no true thought into the menu in the first place. It appears the food is not an I important source of income. If you are vegetarian the ONLY things you could eat would be pizza plain or garden salad. However there really is no salad but the lettuce and tomatoes they use for the burgers will be chopped for you. The burgers are the ones from the cold vending machine literally (plastic put in microwave). The only thing cooked to order are fries, tenders and maybe the best wings (not sure). Now for teens it was said after 10pm chaperone required. We called to confirm was told 8pm but upon arrival they said 7:30pm. The basketball/volleyball area requires you to have a 25yr old with you and that's for each 4 teens in the group. What if I don't want to sit over there in the first place? I did not see enough cleaning of equipment? The food boy used his hands once to get tenders. The food sitting area is very limited for the amount of people that will come through. We did not enjoy ourselves! The only thing that seemed structured was security.

Decent. My fiancé and I had a good time. We just played games. Pricing isn’t too unreasonable, but some games didn’t work. Not good for a new location. I think they need to implement regular testing of these games because we did waste swipes on a game that didn’t work on one side (Transformers Game). They also need to make sure to regularly check the sanitizer.

All in all, a cleaner and better laid out location compared to some of the others. The games are also in top condition as well, where at other locations they are sometimes broken. I feel like a few games may be missing, particularly compared to Stonecrest (I remember there being a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fighting game there). Nevertheless, great location, has great Japanese music games including DDR, PIU, IIDX and many more. Only wish the DDR X cab wasn't part of the premium subscription pass :(

Soo much fun for less. Bring ya kids and friends. It's just two of us and we love it.

I want to preface this review with I have already gotten both of my vaccine shots and I wore my mask correctly the entire time at this location despite getting a little hot and tired while playing some of the games. This was my first time at this location, though I've been to the stone crest mall round 1 as well. I always have a blast when coming out to these locations. I primarily come for the music games such as Museca, Wacca, SDVX, and Guitadora, but this location has a few games the other doesn't have. This location has Mai Mai and Final Fantasy Theatrhythm. I've played Mai Mai at conventions in the past, but these cabinets seemed lacking in the song selection. FFT plays like the 3DS games, but using two analog sticks and buttons which sort of reminds me of Groove Coaster. All in all, I played all of the music games a few times as the last time I've been to a Round 1 had been over a year ago now. Had a great time and I didn't even use a quarter of the credits that I paid for. I'll be coming back at some point for sure. One other thing I noticed, there were security guards outside the location when I arrived about 6pm and they were using metal detectors on people when I was leaving around 10pm. I don't know if something happened around there lately.

I am an avid fan of Round 1 mainly from experiences at the Stonecrest location. This one has more in some respects (like different ticket and fighter games) and less in others (no DanceRush Stardom as advertised on the app, and about one in every six games are either out of order or turned off). My issue is really a minor thing that deals with placement of the games as well as the volume of what is supposed to be background music. Where the music and rhythm games are needs to be in a spot where there is as little background noise as possible. Stonecrest has this right, but Cumberland just doesn’t seem to have it. For example, in playing Sound Voltex Vivid Wave (the leftmost machine) you can barely hear the game’s music because the background music speaker is closeby and jacked up to a level you have to yell at your friends to communicate. Thus some of the machine “zones” really need to be adjusted. I’d recommend moving the music/rhythm section to either where the fighter games are currently or the corner of the arcade by some of the shooters and ticket games. Noise pollution aside, the place is really clean, and the Spo-cha time play area seems like it can be a worthwhile concept!
