Attended an Adult night this week, one of the best nights of my life! The atmosphere was excellent, bass thumping and skating skills insane! The fast skate was brilliant, with train skaters hurtling past! As a guy on my own over from the U.K. I felt very welcome, in particular had a nice chilled chat with the man in the Pro Shop (brought some wheels). Such an amazing experience - thanks guys. [I’d love to know the Insta of the man filming the skaters if you get a chance to put in reply]. Keep rolling! 🛼

Came to Cascade skating rink for the first time for a skating event. “For the Love of Skating” was the name of the event. Had a great time, the skate floor was smooth. The corner edges were a little bumpy but it didn’t matter. Seen there if a snack bar which is great. Seen a couple people eat the food there. Great first experience skating at Cascade, forward to coming back in the future.

We came here on Saturday night. The parking lot was packed and the lines were long. Lines move fairly fast. $10 to enter and $5 for skate rental. The rink was not that crowded and the entire place had a great vibe. Food stand has some good options and good prices. Music was extremely good. it is a vibe.

A pretty decent place for an evening out or in our case a kids birthday party. Security was pretty tight which now a days is a good thing. Pepperoni pizza and sweet chili wings were enjoyed by all. 2 cautions if you bring cake there's a $ 25 fee for the group and .. non skaters still pay $10 to get in. Overall a good experience

Went here for a birthday party. They set us up in a lil tight room in freezing conditions. They hostess was very nice and attentive. That pizza though😢🤢🤢🤢You can't be serving that to people. I knew it was bad when hungry kids wouldn't eat it. Kids love a pepperoni or cheese pizza. it was disgusting!! If your gonna host these parties for kids and take parents money please buy a decent quality pizza for the youngins.

I love Casacade! I grew up skating here and the vibe is always like no other. The DJ always encourages some type of interaction between skaters, whether it's a dance battle, skate line, speed race or birthday shoutouts! I also used to have birthday parties here all the time, but it has changed quite a bit. The arcade and seating area are basically gone. Instead, they have party room with a few tables for seated eating and have even added a lounge upstairs! We didn't get to see this last time because it closed when the rink did at 11PM on a Saturday 🤷🏾‍♀️ Parking was also free, but though I've never experienced it, some people have said they paid on Sunday nights. Before my last visit I hadn't been for years, but the atmosphere was still amazing! I will continue bringing my non Atlanta friends here to share in our skate culture 😌 Downside: The bathrooms are still as gross as I remember SMH

Best time ever!! Went because of the movie and it’s definitely an experience!! $20 bucks a person! Expect a line! And you will be searched so don’t try no crazy stuff! We actually went on a Friday at 7:30 which was kids night! The kids were so helpful and nice! They even watch out for the little skaters! It was worth the 12 hour drive! I’ll definitely get my skate game up and go back

We went to visit family in Atlanta and just had to check this place out. We went on Adult Night. We did not realize how popular this place is. Parking was packed thankfully we found a spot. Regular skaters were nice enough to help us beginners getting out the the rink. I think I enjoyed watching people skate the most. I do recommend going and I will definitely check it out again.

I always enjoy myself when i come to cascade. You will pay $5 to $10 for parking and another $15 to skip the line. I just wish the DJ had more selection with the music i get tired of hearing same stuff weekly. Cant go wrong going here on sunday with adult night. I also went on Wednesday for adult night and i felt like same music i heard that night was same music from the sunday night. Other than the music its a great place to be and to mingle with like mind people. Everything you seen in the movie ATL is same stuff you will see inside cascade. You will be shocked at how many people can really skate out here.

I saw this place on the movie ATL always wanted to visit it I finally did back in March 2020 but since it was COVID shutdown we didn’t go in we just took pictures outside. The GPS too ya right there I didn’t have any problem finds it. The lights look so cool 😎 at night. There is also a Popeyes chicken in the front if you want a snack we didn’t eat there but we did use the restroom which was clean.

I had a good experience overall at the Investors Academy Back to School event. The young lady at the food register was very nice and customer friendly. But there was a little knat fly in the cheeseburger.

Was excited to come here because I love skating and this is a true hip hop landmark. The price was very reasonable, which I appreciated. The line was long but moved kinda quickly. The reason it isn’t getting 5 is because the concession stand employee working last night at late nite was trying to flirt with every girl and it took me forever to get a drink. Also, the DJ could’ve been way better. Me and my girl really noticed when he said “ladies skate” and played nothing by or for women. And the “couples skate” songs were really bad. He put on one unknown song and walked away from the booth. It’s really nothing special about it to me, but hey it’s Cascade 🤷🏾‍♂️

I go to Cascade whenever I'm in town. Their Saturday Family session is from 1-6pm. This session is for all ages including birthday parties for the young ones. You should call ahead or check their website if this session is not what you're looking for.

OMG I HAD THE BEST TIME. I went on adult night but they didn't play any old school music. They need a 30+ night for all of us that are not as young as we used to be. Overall I really enjoyed myself and I enjoyed watching all the Powerhouse skaters.

Love this place and especially the people that patronize Cascade regularly! My only minor complaint with Cascade is the music selection. Atlanta has a wide array of music based out of Atlanta, but I don't feel like the DJs are from Atlanta and only rarely play real Atlanta music...at least on the nights that I've gone. Other than that, the place is terrific!

Always lit when I go (Sunday night) Decent selection of music. Make sure you go early because parking and the building fills up quick. The snack bar has a nice selection of food. Admission/skate rental is a decent price! There’s so many nice looking people in attendance as well. I love watching the groups skate/dance together. No drama either you can have a good time.

Love the vibes here, the ladies come dressed to impress Adult night is a so much fun if you feed off a bunch of experienced skaters skating to high energy hip hop music on a good sound system on a nice wood floor .. I travel as a truck driver and I've been to many skating rinks in the north east ..most skating rinks are so lame for the advanced adult skater . ..nothing compares to this place .

This place is okay I know it's iconic but it's so much unnecessary people in the middle of the rink it makes it hard for parents to teach the little ones in the small circle. It should be more lil kid be skate holders or at least should be kept track of because people don't return them in 1 hour to give other kids a chance to use them

It's a great black owned business, would love to go on a family night. We went on a Sunday that was suppose to be adult night and there was teenagers and very congested. My husband love to skate so that's why we went. Cascade has skates been a family business and we live to support long lasting businesses and black owned.

I was so excited to visit Cascade being that I had only seen it movies...it was a great experience for a tourist but if you are not an excellent roller skater, you will get run over at this place- very disappointing....gotta step my skating game up before I visit again. Ive been going to the place since middle school. This place is the bomb. I love to attend on adult night. It is a bit much when the teens are there. Despite that Cascade is the place to be. The restrooms smell but what do you expect due to the fact that they constantly have a crowd.

It was a overall fun place but I want to say is that when you walk in the are about a couple covid signs, such as keep your mask on at all times. I noticed right in the place when you buy your tickets the worker had on no mask at all. I also noticed that the seats and the chairs were always sticky and dirty. I am waste that you know slushy can waste but I feel like someone should try to clean it up. Last thing the restrooms were horrible. If you are on skates and all of a sudden you have to use the restroom hold it because you are going to fall. My solution is to get fake grass and put it in the floor so if you are skating you won’t fall and it can be easy to use the restroom. Overall I give it a three because the covid guide lines were a lie..

This place was cool however if you sit in the food court you will freeze to death..Due to a super-wide vent that blows out cold air. Food is good, but due to the vent was unable to enjoy it. Bring your winter coat and hat!

It was ok...even though it says on web site no one under 18 is add mittted ...it had 80% of the people they let in was 18 teen and under....they didn't check ID at all.......they dont sale alcohol at all , charged 2 dollars for masks even though you didnt have to wear it in side and it wasnt inforst ..and 10 dollars at door ..15 if you wanted to jump line.. Parking10 dollars But other then that it was cool

It's funny I've lived in Georgia all my life and it was my first time to skate at the historical landmark of Cascade skating rink. It was fun, my son went for a birthday party and he had a blast. They have the most recent music and they have the awesome races. The staff are friendly, but one thing I would like to happen is that it should be more of them because they a little short staff when it comes to concessions.

Bathrooms are not clean, place is old and it seems there isn't very much investment into maintenance. Roller skates are good. Customer service is not the best, but if you are looking for a spot to just skate and have a bit of fun this is an option they have great lighting and sound system. They have plenty of parking spots. Maybe a place for a family night!

Went with my family including a one year old on a Saturday night which is teen night Sunday night is adult night. The crowd was of course teens wasn't too full very few adults and smalls kids. I'm not a good skater but I felt comfortable skating there with my little experience of skating . Security was there and doing there job. It was a fun night time flew by it was midnight before we knew it.

We went as an ending to my daughter's sweet 16 celebration, so I had a large group of high schoolers, they overly enjoyed themselves and I appreciated the fact that it wasn't overly expressive especially with me paying for their entrance and food. Would definitely do this again

Me and my wife are regulars. We never miss Wensenday sessions. Only gripe is the music. Strip club and radio rubbish doesn't belong in on adult night. Otherwise it safe and well maintained. This is the best thing going in the "A".

There are amazing skaters here! I went but I cannot skate & tripped & fell so much lol. Some of these skaters seem professional & do tricks + come multiple times during the week, so this is not a casual skating rink. It's fun to watch even if u don't skate.

We had fun. Music was good. Hate that they have arcade games that don't work. Other rinks that we go to usually have arcade games and some also have a play area for toddlers but I think this rink is mainly for adults and experienced skaters.

Great place, you can feel the vibe of skating there. Only thing I disapprove was the disrespect of employees.. They acted like they didn’t even wanna be there, nor to help anyone. For example I left my phone inside, I realized 1 minute after I walked. Meanwhile as I’m walking out the lady stared me dead in my face. But as I go back in and tell them I left my phone, they wanna have the nerves to tell me “too bad” what type of stupidity is that to say to a paying customer... Had to sit there and argue with her letting me go back in, meanwhile I’m still being polite and she’s being rude... on top of that first time there.

The skating rink is very old , and has been in the neighborhood for many years. Prices are high at the concessions stand so plan accordingly. The grounds entering the facility is very unsightly with dried gum everywhere and just nasty. The carpet inside needs to be replaced because it's dirty. There is construction outside the parking area , and maybe they are expanding or rebuilding the rink , which would be great! I went because my grandson was celebrating his 8th birthday, and he wanted to skate. I really don't recommend this place unless you don't mind the unpleasant conditions.

I was visiting from Charleston, SC and forgive me for not having his name but you have a tall gentleman with a beard that worked Sunday August 26th when we arrived at 6pm. He was amazing, personable and told us ail the events that were coming up that we would enjoy. He asked enough probing questions to determine we were true skaters. Again, I wish I had his name but give him a pat on the back and a raise.

Can you guys fix the broken skating rink floor and order new skates? The floor has 2 holes in it, causing falls. The skates are wobbly and worn out. Other than that, cascade is a place.

Its an ok place to scate. It could be updated and cleaner. The price is ridiculous for a huge family with no scates. This place needs pest control so dont bring any bags or jackets to place in lockers. Nasty bathroom as well. With updating this place could be better.

I love cascade for one its a black owned Vet establishment. The music and culture of skatinf is incredible and if your a beginner or advanced skater there is a session for everyone. I came to cascade when I first moved to ATL and as a beginner skating it was terrifying as well as embarrassing to fall but as I realized the skaters at cascade are always friendly and ready to help anyone interested in learning. This is THE most popular skating rink in Atlanta! Recent regular visits from celebrities like Usher and Bow Wow have made it even more crowded on Sundays. The rink opens at 8 and you better be in the parking lot BY 8 to secure a space. The crowd will mostly be between 18 to 21 and the music will mostly be rap, R&B. You will see all kinds of skaters, from folks in rentals ("brownies") to style skaters who put in work in the middle of the rink. The snack bar can get slow because of the crowd, but they have good drinks like Gaterade and water, besides ICEE'S and soda. The pro shop sells quality skates like Riedell, and candy for your sweet tooth. This rink hosts teen parties so the floor is not in great condition. It is safe to roll on but some spots need repair. Wednesday is a good night for adults because it is not nearly as crowded as Sunday (8p-12a). The music will vary and usually caters to all types of skaters. The DJ usually rotates on Wednesday and sometimes features a radio DJ; the other DJ's are usually hip to "skate music" and will play some house, JB, stride, snap, etc. It is definitely easier to park on Wednesdays. The parking lot is monitored by security. I give it a 3 because Sundays are too much like the club on skates (lines, paid parking, ppl there to be seen rather than skate) and because the floor should be better maintained. I would give a 4 if I could just judge Wednesdays alone.
