Hey, it's a bowling alley, not much else to say. The bartender was funny and made some delightful drinks. The cheese sticks are also worth mentioning. The art outside the building is awesome! Kudos to the artist.

The company I work for had our party here. The nachos, cheese sticks, salad, pizza and French fries they had made were all delicious! Clean bathroom. Fun time. Great service

It was our first time there and we went as a family. :) We went on a Monday afternoon, about 12:30. They had half the lanes reserved for league play, but there was still plenty of room for our family to share a lane. The cost to bowl was quite reasonable. The food was good as well. The employees were helpful and friendly. Functionally, the lanes had a retro vibe while still having some cool and advanced features. The air hockey and pool table were reasonably priced as well. My only complaint would be the low volume from the jukebox. Unless you were standing right next to it, you couldn't really hear it... so that was a bummer. But perhaps it was due to the time of day we were there. 🤷‍♀️ Overall, we enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it. :)

Great family fun. Our group of nine included participants from 7 years old to 72 years old. Good activity for a cool, breezy day and a distraction for the grandchildren to keep them off of their various devices. All goodness.

We had a great time over the weekend. My family appreciates the extra efforts they are taking currently for our safety. We felt at ease seeing they are only using the even numbered lanes to help enforce social distancing. It looks like they've add safety glass around the front counter and snack bar. We will definitely be back.

I am now bowling at this league and they have good people from AMF but I would like for the lanes not to be so oiled because my ball gets so oiled then it is hard to get in my bag plus when u spin that ball if u hit middle it spins to hard then on the outside it stops the spin so just saying and they have some good pizza and people say they have good beer and wine but other then that this place is good

Our monthly bowling gang always has SO much fun here. Best prices, awesome food and great local beers and ciders. If we can't bowl at Sky lanes..we just dont bowl! Safer bowling than shopping in a grocery store. SKY lanes taking it up another notch or two. Boojum beers on tap and chicken parmesan sub with SWEET POTATO TATER TOTS!!!! WHAT???!!!

Haven't been bowling in 10 years or anywhere else but here, so I don't have much to compare it to. But it was fun, and they have a good beer selection including local craft brews which seems crucial for this game. It's bright and reasonably clean inside with amusing murals, although the building is a bit dated. The computer system that controls the lanes was a bit slow, unintuitive, ancient-looking, and frustrating to use, but adequate for purpose in the end. The balls were in pretty rough shape, but I was just there to have fun and avoid the gutters as much as possible, so good enough for me. Pricing seems reasonable. I'll come back with the family soon!

Great fun, but the bartender working the evening of the 21st of may he needs to find another job. .. you don't tell a person that they have to leave a tip because it's your lively hood people leave a tip pending on service not racism, we hope he's not still there when we go back .

The bowling was very affordable. Shoes and three or four games was under 25 bucks. Bar and deli was fair. As for the alley itself, there could've been a lot more attention paid. There was a lot of room up and down the alley but as new parties arrived, staff placed people on top of each other.

As first time there it was a nice experience. During the game there were a few times when the machine stopped but the problem was fixed fast. Also I thought it will be a little bit cheaper (weekend + 4people + 3games =$83).

Place feels like home! I'm here 3 days a week. The manager Adam is friendly and goes the extra mile. The bar has great burgers and drinks. I also love their tots and French fries! They even offer birthday parties. Great lanes!

Excellent experience today. all employees were wearing masks. Place was sparkling clean and we felt very safe and welcomed. Somebody in the previous post complained about pricing but I don't think they realized that they had to pay for shoes also. When you figure that in, it all makes perfect sense. We will definitely be back!

Me and my husband came here to bowl and play pool. We had a great time. I witnessed one of the gentlemen in the bar area waiting on two children. He took the time to write their drink on the side of the cups so they didn’t get them mixed up. It was a great family atmosphere. Just wish there was more music playing. We did use the jukebox but you couldn’t really hear it.

Overall pleasant experience. Building is a bit run down but very clean. Equipment is dated but functional. Seems popular but not overly packed. Decent selection of drinks and food. Staff was friendly and prompt. Arcade was lacking. Pricing was average. Would go again.

We love coming here. The remodel was a long time coming. The food is always great and better than typical bowling alley food. They have a great selection of craft and local beers in tap and bottle in the cooler. It's not fancy but so much better than it was. A great place for families or alone.

This was my first bowling experience in over a decade. It's a great place to go with a group. They have a bar, snacks, and an arcade... something for everyone. I recommend having the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla. Fun was had by all.

Good for taking family, unfortunately, you must be cautious as they serve beer and sometimes attract a not so savory crowd. The building and indoors is in desperate need of remodel. Restrooms are absolutely in need of decontamination as they are filthy beyond what should be allowed. Service is not the best from attendants, however, overall, it's fun for a quick game or 2 with family.

This place was great, we got caught in bad weather in an RV on our way home to Michigan and stopped here to wait out the storm. They were very understanding and let us park there overnight, even though they were hopping. The food was delicious and our kids spent hours bowling and playing air hockey.

Well... what can I say... it's a bowling alley. But i will say its clean, the service is great, lanes were open when we got there at 11pm on a Friday night, so big points for that! Only problem was there shoes for rent were pretty tattered and worn. I have my own shoes, but my wife's were less than attractive. But that's honestly my only complaint. Its was a great experience and the lanes were well took care of. A little slick, but very good! Would recommend to anyone! Put you iPhone light boxes down and your automatic everything and get out and bowl! Some things never change and this is one I'm glad that never will! Good family and friend fun! Sorry, no pics, I was having so much fun i forgot i left my phone in the car, only pics we took were with my friends Polaroid, remember those? Real, tangible pictures! Rock on Sky Lanes!

Very nice and helpful staff at this place. The outside looks like from the 80... but the inside is in a pretty good shape and you have 24 lanes to choose from, if they are not all in use already. You can have a very good time there with kids from 2 above and just enjoy one of the old good American games! Loved it!!!

Recently bought out and remodeled by a new crew about two years ago, I can't begin to explain how revitalized this place is. Great prices, new machines, very pleasant employees, nice draft beer selection, beautiful mural of The Dude on the side of the building by local artists, I could go on all day about the positives. We go once a week just to roll a few games and always walk away with a smile on our face. For anyone saying they had a bad experience here, it had to have been a fluke. Best bowling alley in Asheville, hands down.

Pros: Nice bowling alley with friendly staff, clean and fun environment. Decent prices for what you get. Cons: Subpar food, great options but very inconsistent quality. Order four of the same thing and you'll swear they all came from different places. Not much ball selection relative to many other alleys, but I know it's hard to carry a variety while also having enough of the different sizes and weights. Minimal arcade, but I'm not really holding that against them, after all it is a bowling alley first and foremost. Just a minor thing

Sky Lanes is a great little bowling alley! We were there on a Sunday afternoon for a fun outing on my sister's birthday. We got a lane, with no waiting. A little FYI: on Sunday there are no leagues. While I was there, I saw that they have a nursery for the younger children. There's a video game area to occupy your older kids who don't want to bowl. Sky Lanes has a great little restaurant. They have a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, chili cheese fries, etc. There's also a bar where you can get beer, wine and mixed drinks. Sky Lanes is a great little bowling alley, located in West Asheville! They have a nice fast lanes. It's a good place to spend an afternoon with the family! Love to bowl here, we always have a great time. The people who work in the food area are so rude and unhelpful. I was also concerned that there were beers and alcoholic beverages sitting around everywhere unattended, and lots of teenagers there. Probably should have some rules about that.

The staff was very patient and accommodating to a kid who kept causing small calamities on the lane. The food wasnt that great but in all fairness it was a bowling alley not a restaurant. The facility was clean and there were arcade machines to keep the kids busy when they became bored with bowling.

This is a bowling alley and it had automatic bumpers for the kids. The lightest ball for my fingers was 12lbs, I have man fingers. The kids really enjoyed it a lot.
