Great local pool!! Small and family friendly feeling, well life guarded, alert and vigilant guards!! I am visiting with my local family and very impressed. Love this public pool. Clean and not as busy as some of the other public pools in the city. Large grassy area to spread out your beach towel. No waterslides, but several lanes for lap swimming and large area for recreational swimming.

We've been having my son's birthday there for 3 years in a row, it always turns out to be good and it's also a nice clean pool and the area very beautiful and affordable one of the best outside pools.

Not a bad pool experience. Very popular, so can get crowded at times. About 5.25 for one adult and one child. There is a grassy area with shade trees to get out of the sun. The deepest part is about 5ft.

Enjoyable for those without kidos. Doesn’t have any play equipment for the kids or splash pad. Just a hole with some water. Facility is clean and staff are friendly

Super friendly staff and never terribly crowded. Only 6ish feet with no diving board, but just a really nice pool with large trees for some great shade. Perfect for the kids. Great job guys! 11/10

In the heat of summer, at a peak time of the weekday, the pool was not very crowded. The pool is situated near the zoo, and there’s trees providing nice cover from the sun, so there’s some shady grassy areas you can relax in. The pool was clean and chlorinated properly. Half was general swim and the other half were four lanes for lap swim. The shower/changing room on the men’s side was also clean and well-maintained. Recommended place.

PlantWorld. It is one of the happiest places on earth. I work in the field but had not been yet this year, did not go last year more than 3 or 4 times. They have opened up to the general public much more, I'm not sure if folks still need a 'membership' to go in but it is worth it. Plan on spending at least an hour - it is huge and spread out. I recommend having a very good idea of what you're looking for, and why, before you go. Stick to native plants as a favor to your future self! Xericapes can be lush and colorful. When you arrive get the map at the front desk, ask questions! Have fun and,, Happy growing ~

I hadn't been in 20+ years. It's super clean, the grassy shady areas are awesome. The locker room and building are exactly as I remember, still clean and usable even tho they haven't been updated in a few decades. Will be back!

The only thing it's missing is diving. Very nice. Lots of shade and grassy area under the bosque cottonwood. Paletas in the parking lot.

This outdoor pool had some of the best grass and shady spots for a great late afternoon / early evening swim and snack. It's a downtown gem that is rarely busy and great for swimming laps.

Solid City of ABQ Pool. Has a large lap pool and a smaller wading pool. There is a nice amount of shade and grass on the west end on the pool. Overall looks very much on par with other city pools.

Rio Grande pool is a great place to hang out and cool off in the summer months. It's an outdoor pool so it is not open year round. The locker rooms and showers are always clean. There are lots of large trees surrounding the property so it isn't hard to find shade most of the time. The sand volleyball court is a bonus! IF the crowded days at the pool aren't your thing, consider renting it out after hours. The rates are very reasonable and it's a great place to have a party !

You must make reservations now. They do fill up quickly so do it as early as possible. Capacity is still running limited as are hours. The staff is taking good care of folks here.

The Rio grande pool is a high quality pool. It is clean and quite pretty. Behind the pool is a spacious area of healthy grass. The facilities are also relativity sanitary and there were several shower Chambers. The only complaint is that it's currently next to several tumultuous construction projects, from which you can hear the loud machinery. It isn't too big a problem if you don't mind a little noise.

This is the pool I learned to swim in. My tween children did and now my younger girls. Lots of shade. Have volleyball court. See the zoo train pass by.
