I really like the newly remodeled building for the pool. Although my son misses the kids wagging pool that was outside, the inside of the new building is much improved. The changing room really needed with and is now vastly improved. I wish only that the pool has been enlarged a bit as this pool is always crowded in the summertime.

Great facilities and the booking system (covid 2020) is working well. Single occupancy lanes until further notice which is nice, but means fewer can enjoy. 2022 update: normal operations have resumed and its still a great place to swim!

The pool is nice to get in laps, going from 5ft to 6 in the middle and back to 5. It was moderately busy on a Friday early afternoon but I could definitely see this place getting crowded. If you're looking for low impact exercise this is a great place to rent a lane and swim for an hour or so.

Old pool but renovated just a few years ago so still pretty clean. Water temp was great today but a shame there is no open air or area to enjoy sun outside. All enclosed and a big weeded area on the west side seems like a waste of space.

Lots of naked people in the locker rooms. Had to cover my kids eyes. Other than that it is a nice pool that's not cold even though it's inside. We now go to the handicapped or family bathroom to avoid naked people.

This is the best and biggest pool on the east side. I haven't been to this pool in 10 years. The renovation was done well. I love this pool. They cut hours because of staffing issues, but the staff tries very hard to keep the pool operational. Pool hours have returned to normal. The staff does a great job.

The kids had a great time, the guards are kind of Overkill. But that happens when you give young people Authority. Still a nice place to swim.

I'm loving the exercise classes. It really helps with my body pain. I don't smell like a chlorine bath after. The staff seem pretty friendly. This pool is my favorite

I really like it cuz it has a bathing suit dryer in the women's showers. Very convenient. They were packed tho, bc highland pool is closed for cleaning. Water was great; not cold, not warm, not heavily chlorinated. Although enough chlorine to keep it clean.

I enjoy swimming at Los Altos pool. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Signs to wear masks are enforced to wear during covid. The pool is warm and clean and I feel safe having life guards on site. Bathrooms are kept clean.

I love the new renovation and the showers are much warmer too. But it seems like the life guards don’t really pay attention to the pool. They never till people in the pool to move out of the way when other people are entering the pool and they don’t till swimmers to be careful not to run into other swimmers. But still one of the nicest pools in town.

Ok so admittedly I work here and I'm kind of confused as to why google asked me to rate it. But I'm chillin with it. I think it's a pretty great pool, especially with the redesign remodel thing from a year ago, and we have fun. The pool is always a very nice temperature and it's nice to lap swim. I suggest coming here. And to who ever keeps on sending in all of those complaints (you know who you are) to the guy in charge of all the pools, please knock it off. Juat send it to the lower down people in charge of this pool specifically, that way we can discuss how to make this facility better rather than getting us all in trouble for things we can't control.

The pool looks wonderful inside. I'm so happy that they renovated Los Altos pool. I gave 3 stars, though, because I'm incredibly disappointed that they took out the kiddie pool. I used to spend the summer at the pool with my kids while my husband was at work, but I can't do that in the lap pool with 4 young kids!

I go for water aerobics at 6:30pm twice a week and love it!!!! Just a heads up, they are cutting down the classes to only Mon and Wed because of staffing issues :(

Wow this is a really nice pool. It's not too cold or crowded. You have to go onto city of Abq website and book 2 days in advance. Spots fill up fast.

Very nice pool and park. However, I will never go there because Los Altos Park has been one of Albuquerque's many havens for the homeless for the last several years

Can't go wrong being able to swim for an hour during the winter. You have the pool to yourself at times. Exercise helps the immune system and your overall well being. Have fun!

Just opened on March eleventh and what a grrat new addition.Lo g over due and just in time for Spring and soon Summer.Really had a great time and a great swim.Facilities are nice and new and cleab and fresh and staff are great,lets just hope it stays that way for a long time.

Amazing for a very low competitive price. I’ve been only once, but the pool was large and I was possible to swim laps; everything looked pretty clean.

Just went there for the 1st time on Saturday afternoon, nice but old facilities, several of the lap lanes were open, the water was a a great tempature... it tasted a little salty though, maybe they use a water softener, ? The staff was all friendly and so were the people swimming... I'm going there again!!

Signed up the kiddos for swimming lessons. I wanted to go to the free swim but you have to go to the website just to sign up for that. The website was hard to navigate. It's really ridiculous you have to jump through all these hoops over this.

This pool offers water fitness and therapy classes as well as lap swim most weekdays. Since the pandemic, that have had difficulty hiring and maintaining staff so it is vital if you are not on their contact list you call ahead to be certain the activity you want is taking place. The instructors for the classes vary in knowledge and enthusiasm but Tuesday and Thursday classes with Laurie are heavily attended and I think currently the best available. Water temperatures can vary a bit, but are generally cool enough it spurs effort. The men’s locker room is always cold. One doesn’t dally when showering and departing after your activity is finished. Overall, it is one of the better pools I’ve used in Albuquerque.
