My wife and I got our open water certifications with the World of Water team. Scott does an absolutely fantastic job running the place. He is easy to work with and always helpful. Additionally, he hires wonderful people—Libby did a great job teaching us during our pool dives. Moreover, World of Water offers outstanding value for what you pay; Scott's prices are more than fair, and we were very happy with out decision to go with World of Water. We will certainly return in the future for additional certifications and equipment.

Scott and his co-instructor Libby were very professional and extremely accommodating. I took the Open Water Certification class with my two teenage sons, and we were on a short schedule due to an upcoming dive trip. Scott was able to work with our schedule to get us through the class very efficiently, quickly, and completely. He was very thorough and hit all the important points of the class in a straightforward way that was easy for us to grasp. He has been in the business since the 1970s, and he has definitely kept his passion for teaching the sport! I would recommend him to anyone.

Best Dive Shop in the Tampa area. One weekend trip got canceled due to weather and when I brought my equipment and tanks back un-used Scott gave me a full credit towards my next trip. I didn't even mention if a credit was even a possibility, Scott just did it. Scott and WOW is a place I would recommend to anyone, for certifications and/or equipment rentals. They have the best prices on rental equipment for weekend trips I've seen in the area. 10 Star Rating.

Scott is very professional and takes diving very seriously. Clearly a true passion for him and he wants others to enjoy it too. I got certified through him and really enjoyed it. Quick to tell you what you did incorrectly, but even quicker to explain why and uses it as a great learning tool. Definitely recommend him and his team for any level dive certifications that you might he interested in.

This is a great dive shop for a few simple reasons: 1). Scott, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable without being smarmy about it, plus he's a great teacher, i.e. patient! 2). Scott is honest, ethical and straight forward. He doesn't try to sell you something as the main thrust of his relationship with you the customer. 3). When weather cancelled part of a dive trip, Scott was more than fair about credit and/or refunding money, even without asking. I'd recommend this shop for any level of instruction or scuba diving need.

Scott was great, took a look at my equipment to check it for safety and answered questions about becoming nitrox certified. Scott is very knowledgeable about diving, equipment and instruction and I would recommend World of Water any day to my friends.

This place is awesome! I'm currently Active duty Air Force and I love this dive shop. I've received all my certifications and my equipment from this shop so far because I trust the staff, especially Scott (the owner). This man knows what he is talking about and has years of dive experience. The staff will also spend their time answering any questions and/or concerns you may have about getting SCUBA certified, the equipment (Pros and Cons), or just about anything else dive related. I've also went on dive trips with World of Water and dove down to depths of 90-100ft (very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing and don't have the right training). If I didn't think this was a good dive shop, I would have looked elsewhere. Again, well worth your time and money if you're interested in learning how to SCUBA dive...the right way!

This is a very good dive shop. Scott is very helpful and not always trying to up sell you new equipment. I have recommended him to several friends who go to WOW. He does to notch work on equipment as well. I take my gear to him only for service.

You can do it!! Come to class prepared and I brought (scuba dive approved ear plugs with holes) and come with respect for Scuba Diving! It was a great experience for me!!! Scott is extremely knowledgeable on any topic relating to scuba

Have gone to Scott for 4 years since moving to Tampa. He is very knowledgeable and highly skilled. Friendly and helpful at all times. He can and will repair just about anything, and usually on the spot without waiting. Highly recommend him for his dedication and professionalism.
