Had a really great experience with the shop. Staff is super knowledgeable about the skates and very helpful when it came to picking out a pair for your needs and sizing. Had a snafu with my order delivery, but the owner went above and beyond to ensure it was fixed. If you are considering treating yourself to a nice pair of skates, I highly highly recommend shopping here!

I don't have to shop at a store literally across the entire country but I do. Each time I call in, I'm given immediate attention, excellent customer service, and confidence in my purchase. These guys just want you skating with the right gear. My last call was with Brad. Dude went out of his way to help me correct an error I made in ordering. Could actually hear him going through stock to make sure my new acquisition was timely. Took his time with me and I don't know too much. Really good experience. Thanks Brad and thanks Shop Task as a whole. Also, shipping from WA to VA is faster than I thought it would be. Cheers guys.

Such a great place for all your inline skating needs! Jacob was super helpful when purchasing a pair for my 14 year old. He made sure we got what we were looking for and answered all of our questions. My husband also found some awesome shoes there! Highly recommend coming here versus just going to a sporting goods store.

I ordered online—but I called to check on general skate advice and for direction on how to fit skates. I talked with Brian and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Told me everything I needed to know and offered for me to call back if I had any more questions. If I was local to this shop I'd go there every time I needed anything skate related. But in the future I'll be ordering everything I need from them because the customer service was absolutely excellent.

Brian is the best. Super knowledgeable and helpful. He hooked me up with a great fitting for some skates I'm not even going to purchase for another month. He also was able to advise me on SuperFeet insoles! They provide a $20 a day rental if you are in town for business or a local thinking about it. I'm pretty sure the organize lessons, too.

Really nice to have a dedicated inline skate shop in our city. It isn't very big but they have a really good selection of skates, frames, wheels, and gear from multiple brands. You can try on the skates there and there's enough room with concrete flooring for a couple of strides. If there's something you're interested in but they don't have it in stock or don't usually carry it, they can usually order it for you. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and aren't pushy at all. I had a problem loosening a screw on my frame and they showed me a trick to dealing with tight frame screws.

Really grateful for the knowledge and patience of the staff! Came in to find a pair of beginner skates, after trying on four or five pairs, I found the one pair that fits like a charm and made me instantly happy. The friendly atmosphere in the shop made me not afraid to seek help trying different models on and to ask questions. Will definitely come back in the future after I make some progress!

The main reason I chose this store was because of the reviews. I was looking for a place that actually pay attention to customers and specially when you need an induction because you are a beginner. I bought my wife her birthday present and we can't be more happy with the attention we received. Totally recommended.

They are very kind here and passionate about inlines! I managed to snag a great pair that were "used" due to one use and a return. They also carry accessories and wheels, including Luminous LED/glow wheels for when you really want to party.

For the second time in as many years we have driven from Portland specifically to visit this shop. Each visit the staff have been very knowledgeable about everything in their store and the sport in general. In addition to finding exactly what we were looking for the first time, the second we had even more particular needs. This time the sales consultant suggested parts after a comprehensive review of everything and pulled all the parts to assemble a custom skate. My lady and I had no idea to expect this and made us feel like royalty. Next time its time to add or upgrade we will cheerfully drive 3 hours both ways for the best equipment as well as the best experience.

While visiting from Portland, my wife and I walked to Shop-Task and I picked up a new pair of inline skates. Megan was passionate and knowledgeable about inlines and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The store has a smooth floor to test out skates that you try on. My new FR skates are extremely comfortable and definitely an upgrade from my Mission hockey skates. I highly recommend Shop-Task Keith

I used to skate when I was younger. Cruising around town in my inline skates was cool but really good skates, parts, and other accessories were hard to come by as a kid and not many shops or stores carried the types of skates I liked which caused me to skate less and less over the years. When I found Shop-Task Seattle, I found my skates, and rekindled my love for skating. I went on their website and ordered a pair of Them Skates for in-store pickup. I emailed the store to make sure I could get my purchase on time and the Manager was very patient and super helpful when I came in to pick up my skates. If you're in the Olympia, Tacoma, or Seattle areas, you should definitely check them out.

Great shop, we got their opening time mixed up and showed up an hour earlier than they opened. Someone was there getting things organized saw us standing outside trying to figure out our plan. The gentleman opened the door asking us what he could help us with and was so great. Had so much knowledge and was so nice by helping us even though they weren’t open yet. I have been an aggressive/urban inline skater for about 18 years and recently got obsessed with long distance/fitness skating. Even after hours of research I could not find a pair of skates that met all the criteria I had, as I was looking for performance, durability, and comfort with a boot good for distance skating and transitioning into a low cut speed boot in the future. I would like to mention here that I manage accounts for a living and is as critical as it gets regarding what I determine as quality customer service. Shop task met and exceeded every expectation I had. .. After calling Jake at the store, he patiently answered all my questions (there was a lot, a result from too many google searches), and he quickly found the skate I was looking for. Although they weren't available at the time, and with uncertainty when they would be back in stock as a result from supplying the US since the pandemic, Jake called me the very day they were back in stock to let me know! After confirming size, and a quick online purchase that included free shipping, my skates arrived just 3 business days later. Im looking forward to trying out these Seba Marathon 110s out for the first time today! I will continue to make every skating related purchase through this store for as long as they are around becauzs of this experience. You want the right skate? I stopped by on Easter Sunday, and I was pleasantly surprised that they were open. I was taking my step-son skating around Green Lake, and I decided to stop by Shop Task first, and ask about upgrading to better inline skates. I am glad that I did! The people who helped me were wonderful! I do not remember their names, but I asked lots of questions, about upgrading from my cheaper skates and 3-wheel vs. 4-wheel skates. I tried on a couple of skates, and ultimately purchased a pair that I love. I took them out to Green Lake for a couple of laps and they were so much better than my older, cheaper skates. The staff is patient, friendly, and very helpful. She gave me some welcome pointers/advice about skating, and I loved their enthusiasm! 10/10 I definitely recommend this place. If you started out, like I did, with a cheap pair of skates from a big-box store, you owe it to yourself to stop by this shop, and get help buying a better pair of skates and benefit from their expertise. Your feet will thank you, and even if you already love skating, you will enjoy it more. :)

God-tier customer service! I bought a pair of skates shortly before Covid hit... They were too small, and I needed to trade in for a larger size. Despite having to wait OVER A YEAR (quarantine), they didn't even blink when I came in with my previous pair and asked to trade out. I paid a restock fee, and walked out the door with my new, better-fitting skates!

Buy from Shop-Task!!! Im returning to skating after a 22 year hiatus, bought some Powerslide Next online from shop-task, did my share of research on sizing and STILL the skates hurt. Gave these guys a call and the guy that helped me out, sadly I don't recall the name, was patient and super helpful and gave me TONS of information. He reassured me about my sizing and also helped me with the sizing on some USD Sway IV that I plan on purchasing next month. I just wanted to thank you, and let you know that the PS Next's are feeling great! I am blown away on how much of an upgrade these are from the K2 fitness skates! thanks so much!

Picked up a new pair of Rollerblade Twister Edges yesterday evening. The owner was amazing, he had me sized up and trying on a pair within minutes. The floor is concrete and open so you have a little room to skate around which is great. Having a local inline shop of this quality is rare and I will definitely be returning in the future for any parts or accessories I may need.
