This place is a gem! A large variety of outdoor equipment— winter sports, backpacking, baseball, soccer, climbing, biking… etc. I will definitely be back.

Stop here first. They have a lot of great items at reasonable prices. Especially good for boots and shoes. I wish I had stored here two weeks ago instead of buying the discount store junk.

I came here to look for ski boots last minute. Christopher helped me find exactly what I was looking for! They have an awesome selection of winter gear and otherwise. Everything is very reasonably priced, organized, and the staff is very helpful. Five stars!

Absolutely love this place. Staff is very knowledgeable about all sorts of sports gear. Prices are fair and products are well inspected. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. A great treasure to have in West Seattle.

Successful and great gear shopping experience! I've been here twice now and Christopher has been so helpful both times. The first time he helped me find a perfect ski jacket and wool base layer. On the slopes I was warm and dry. The second time I was able to find a great backpack and vintage REI pullover. Absolutely recommend this store because of the quality of both the gear and the staff!

Randomly walked in after a run bc after Covid was surprised to see a store open. So glad I did! Christopher was working and he was so knowledgeable and friendly. Found some awesome water shoes for a great price and some sweet La Sportiva’s for half the price!! Awesome local store!! Should def. support.

Would definitely recommend to others in the area or looking for great deals, between the sweet vintage items and the big selection, we always seem to walk out of here with something perfect!

It made the experience so much more exciting! There were multiple occasions where we were checked in on to make sure that we were finding everything okay. Such a great store!

Made a trip to Second Gear Sports today to buy some bumper plates for my home gym. They had a great selection of new and used equipment for fitness,hiking, cold weather gear and pretty much any sporting/outdoor. They even have strollers! Christopher was very friendly and let me take my time checking out everything. Definately will be back!

Very knowledgeable staff, he helped me with some boots and ultimately didn't sell me them because they didn't fit quite right. It was close and I could have been convinced into buying the wrong thing by someone less scrupulous. Great service and I'll be going back for sure.

The selection is great and the staff always friendly and helpful. I went in the day before an open water swim race and they just happened to have the perfect wetsuit in my size for just $60!! I was thrilled and love that they’re in my neighborhood.

This is a great local spot for used sports equipment (and new!). I found their selection to be small but certainly adequate (was looking for roller blades at the time), and the staff helpful and the prices great. The only drawback was the size and selection - but that was one visit for one thing at only one time (and I found what I wanted!).

It's great having a second hand sports store centrally located in West Seattle. I'd love to see more gear make its way in and out of Second Gear Sports so make sure to remember them when you've got surplus stuff crowding your garage or storage. Excellent shop.

Really great sport and outdoor clothing line names but no where near retail prices. They only take quality items and they're fair and easy to consign too! If they take it and they sell it, at any time, you get $$, unlike many consignment shops who have a time frame to sell then you either pick up or lose it. Children's items too!

Great new shop in West Seattle. Still getting off the ground but good selection of used (and some new) goods including snow sports, bicycles, strollers/baby seats, camping gear, outdoor wear, baseball gloves/bats, sports cleats/shoes and more. Run by great people as well. Definitely stop by!

Nice little consignment shop, they have a large selection of items, many priced fairly, some overpriced, but they can't control that. We bought a bicycle for our 7yr old, better than prices I was finding on craigslist.
