Summer day sparked the inspiration to run and here I am with no running shoes. A quick Google search pointed me in their direction and within 30 minutes I was all set. They did a full scan of my foot and my strike, then fitted me for the right shoe, and got me out the door with a smile on my face easy-peasy. From thought to run in 60 minutes. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Excellent service. They do all the tests that you would expect from a serious store. On top of this, Amy provided excellent service and had both thorough knowledge and experience of running. I was provided with a very relevant selection of shoes, and I was able to try them out in the store. I feel confident that I ended up with running shoes that fit my feet and running style the best and that I will be happy with. Most importantly, they were all wearing masks. Protecting others and respecting other people's lives goes a long way. That says a lot about their ethics. There is no need to kill innocent people just because the government doesn't babysit us. We should be able to show that much humanity by ourselves without being forced. This store does and it excels in every matter. It was a very pleasant experience. Thank You.

Love this place. Super nice and easy going people. Very helpful as they have a machine to figure out what kind of foot size you have. I have flat and wide feet so I was recommended a wider size. My partner and I went to the Ballard store to find her a pair of running shoes this last Saturday. Kyle performed a 3d scan of my partner's feet and explained the results in great detail before narrowing down a selection of shoes for her to try on. She settled on a pair of On Clouds. Overall, Kyle was super friendly and helpful. The free coffee was nice too. I'll definitely come back and get my foot scanned when I need a new pair of running shoes.

As a first time customer in this store, I had a wonderful experience. Brian was amazing to work with and made me feel welcome even though I'm on the beginner end of the running spectrum. He was incredibly thorough and didn't make me feel rushed to make a decision, offering helpful advice and encouraging me to take several pairs of shoes for a spin on the treadmill and around the store. He helped me make small tweaks to get the right fit (lacing up differently, adding an insole, etc.). I had my 7 year old son with me and Brian even went the extra mile to show him how to work the video game in the store and use the massage chair to give me some kid free shopping time and keep him entertained. Everyone in the store was so kind and helpful, I will definitely go back for my next pair or for some more fun gear. Thank you!

My experience at Fleet Feet was phenomenal. After visiting many stores in search of running shoes I was tried Fleet Feet. Set an appointment for the next day. I arrived and was given an foot scan and a couple other tests. After discussion of my running goals and habits I was given many suggestions. I would not have considered these, very good options, without Kenzie's assistance. She was extremely knowledgeable. Easy going shopping experience, very little hassle. I was able to try on multiple shoes and give them a good test drive in store. There's even a treadmill!!! Anyhow, after trying out the options I chose a great feeling running shoe I had no idea existed prior to my visit. I learned a couple tips, and of a few other cool products. If you are a routine runner, serious runner, or just starting out, visit fleet feet Ballard. You won't be disappointed!

Enjoy everything from start to finish. Very welcoming environment and friendly staff. Kyle took time to really discuss the issues that I was having with my feet and ways to improve. I am a nurse and have plantar fasciitis so being able to find a shoe that is comfortable is important. Enjoyed the foot ID and strike pad, being able to see what options were truly recommended for me. Overall love fleet feet and I will be back!

I went in today and the young man who helped me out ( I can't for the life of me remember his name) was so incredibly helpful in finding me the perfect shoe. He was very patient and very informative. I will be going back for my next pair of shoes, no doubt. They also have this really cool, futuristic foot scan process where you can see a detailed image of your arches and pressure points, which helps them make very tailored suggestions to your foot shape. I had no idea what I was in for but.. color me impressed. Great experience!

I've been running for 20 years, and this was the best shoe buying experience of my life. My feet changed dramatically after my second child, and I hadn't been into a store so long, so I had no idea what my size was. The rep (Malorie) helped to quickly diagnose my size -- all the length width height flexibility and important ways that specific points on my feet might influence which shoe might be best. We also looked at my ankles, pressure on each foot while I walk, etc. She took me through all the details and differences between my feet, and then helped me find a good shoe given how I like to run (road type, pace, weekly distance, and how often I buy new shoes). She helped me adjust my laces to support my narrow heels, and let me try different insole types to find the right arch support. I took my new shoes out for a spin today, and wow, what a difference. :) Thank you, Malorie!! My feet and joints feel amazing.

The service was spectacular! I've been running in my Nike / Adidas for a long time that I wanted to go into a specialty store and get properly fitted. I googled for running specialty stores and read a lot of great reviews on Fleet Feet. I booked a fitting appointment and initially had a mindset of not impulse purchasing and just seeing what they had to say. Brian, I believe helped me and he was super knowledgeable and patient. He never pushed me into purchasing a pair of shoes but went through the fitting process, my feet structure, and the shoe technicalities. When I mean shoe technicalities, I mean the different types of shoes, the support, the way it supports your feet, etc. One thing that did catch me off guard was the encouragement of going outside to run around the block. I didn't realize you can even do this because it was a brand new pair of shoes and you didn't want to taint it. I think that was a lovely touch because you get to really experience the pair of shoes. After several trials and errors, I was able to land on something I liked with Brian's help. I have to say, if you are looking for specialized running shoes or just help with finding out what is out there, Fleet Feet service is top notch.

The person who helped me said it right with “The future is now!” When I got in, they got me on a digital scale and pressure plate to measure feet metrics. They walked me through the different numbers and their meanings and got me a shoe based off of that and my preferences. Great people and great store! I thought I’d walk in and have to do a ton of trials, but they made it real easy with the options and consultations.

Had a fantastic experience getting measured and fitted for new running shoes. Ethan was extra attentive and knowledgable of all the shoes he offered, as well as very patient. Turns out I've been wearing at LEAST a half a size too small a shoe! I'm in love with the Brooks Glycerin shoes that I took home. Every foot is unique and I am so happy that Ethan helped me find the shoe that fits mine perfectly!

My running background spans from High School, to College, to Coaching, to Sales. Participating on both sides has allowed me to advocate for my running needs, and I appreciate running stores that can do the same. I haven't been fitted in awhile and was experiencing gear limitations that pulled me in the door. Mallory was the BOMB. Even though our running experiences are divergent, she was able to internalize my feedback and interpret the results of my fitting to provide some phenomenal options. Based on the Fleet Feet fitting process, I ended up with two final options that I wouldn't have arrived at on my own. I knocked out my first long (for me) run in awhile, and the combination of a more tailored shoe and polarized Goodr sunglasses took the pain out of the equation and allowed me to focus on the run. Regarding products and services, my previous experience has been serious limitations in stock, style, and order capability. It was really refreshing to have OPTIONS. Overall a really good experience, and I'll definitely be back.

Kenzie again assisted me with my shoe purchase yesterday. Back in August 2021, she recommended the Saucony Endorphin Shift 2. It was a game changer! The shoe felt really good, and it was a big reason why I had great Portland marathon performance. This time around I was looking for trail running shoe, and I ended up with going with Saucony Peregrine 11. Just like last time, Kenzie was super friendly and provided great advice. I also wanted to purchase another pair of SES2 but they did not carry the black white color. Kenzie explained how use the web site to determine whether a certain shoe was in stock. There are closer shoe store options for me, but Kenzie and other Fleet Feet team members make the extra drive worth it.

I wandered in with my three YOUNG children, and the welcoming and friendly staff not only took care of me, they watched my kids as I tried on different shoes! After getting a foot scan and experiencing some mighty cool technology for helping to narrow down good shoe options, I went for several mini-runs around the block to figure out the absolute best new kicks for me. Each time I came back in, my kids were happily engaged, chatting with staff or checking out all the tools for massage. Cheers to Brian and his staff for a phenomenal (and easy) buying experience. They do a foot scan and videos of you walking (for free, no commitment) and chat through the data to make a recommendation. They are patient and accommodating, have a wide variety of brands and running shoes (road, racing, trail), and there’s a 60 day return policy so you can test out the shoe and return if it doesn’t work. I gave this place a visit a few weeks ago, and there is nothing about the experience that I would change. If you are looking for stylish and functional running, tennis, and other assorted sport shoes, this is the place to go. Located in downtown/old ballard, parking is easily available within a 2 block radius. Upon entry a friendly associate (Marielle?) jumped to my assistance. She asked me what kind of shoes I was looking for and quickly produced an assortment of shoes for my intended use. She was incredibly knowledgeable and asked many questions I did not think to ask. ( asking about which parts of my shoes were worn, eg) After a few tries, we found the perfect match. On a side note there is a very cool piece of technology that allows you to scan the pressure points on your feet in order to find a pair of shoes that will fit your feet. Wonderful experience, I highly recommend this institution.

Hadn't been to Fleet Feet until last week, and I was tired of reading online reviews for different products so figured I'd stop by and see if they could help me purchase some solid trail running shoes. Kenzie was super helpful, and all 3 pairs of shoes she brought out fit great. I have been a consistent runner for over 35 years. The amount of my weekly miles have decreased dramatically but I still run/jog 3 days a week. While I was in the store I agreed to have a foot and gait analysis (never had one before). Based on the results of those tests, shoes were recommended. I have been in the same brand of shoes for 20 years and admittedly, have been lazy about shoe selection (basing my decision on price of the shoe in my preferred brand) the last few years. That is the wrong way to choose footwear. Back to Fleet Feet. The shoes that were selected for me were brands I had not run in before. Also, it was recommended that I wear shoes that were a size larger than I typically wear. I was skeptical but went with it. Surprisingly the shoes fit quite nicely. I did buy a pair of shoes (and socks)and went on my first run this morning. It was amazing the difference between my run 2 days ago (in subpar shoes) and today's. I had forgotten what running in proper, well-fitting shoes was like. I highly recommend Fleet Feet and their knowledgeable staff for taking the time to get me in a pair of shoes that are suitable for me!

After running in the same model of shoe for 7 years I finally decided it was time for someone to help me with a new fitting. Brian spent over a hour with me, starting with a scan of my foot and then narrowing down models and makes to five, which I then tried out outside to get a true feel for each. The final decision not only provided me with a much better fit for my feet, but eliminated that question in my head each time I pick up Runners World magazine and see all those ads for all kinds of shoes.
