Reviews of Brooks Trailhead
Was on a trip and doing a lot of walking around WA my feet were not happy. My friends feet were in the same place he suggested Brooks. He knew what he wanted. After trying on a few pair I found the perfect pair felt like a soft slippper but firm support. Great salesperson and great warranty 90 days bring them back!
The individual attention the salesman gave to my friend was excellent. I drove as her foot problems were to the point driving wasn't safe. Salesman spent the time to carefully listen to my friend's needs and helped her find pair of shoes that met those needs. He also handled miscommunication she had with online support that prompted the trip to this store in respectful and brilliant way.
Needed new shoes. I love the Brooks I have. Friendly knowledge staff helpful. Suggested I check out 2 other shoes. Decided I liked my Dyad shoes. Altogether a good experience.
Excellent customer service. The lady that assisted us was very helpful and explained to me what type of shoes I should be wearing for running based on how I walk, stand.
Great quality of shoes. I just wished they had more options available in the store and maybe a couple of sales.
I didn't buy the shoes there but I'll probably buy them online. Now I have a better idea of what I need.
A runner-friendly store that has great choices and plenty of sizes. Fun brand tidbits scattered around the store.
I have run in Brooks road shoes for many years, so when I saw the store here in Seattle, I had to try and stop in. Unlike many flagship stores, this one doesn't occupy a high profile location in the middle of the city or a mall. Probably the easiest sale the staff made for the day when I walked in having already decided I wanted to buy a new pair of shoes from them, and was only a question of what else I might pick up while there. Staff were okay, checking in with me occasionally as I browsed the clothes and tried some on.
Almost 40 years ago, John Vitale (big name in CT running, friend and contemporary of Bill Rodgers, and owner of the now closed Run In store) took one look at my feet and told me Brooks was the best choice for me. My flat feet needed the maximum support that only the Brooks Chariot could provide. That model was replaced by the Beast, which have been my shoes ever since. Moved to Seattle two years ago and learned that Brooks is not only headquartered here but has a store in Fremont. I've added the Adrenaline and Addiction to my closet because they come in a narrow (B) width. This is a great store with friendly, knowledgeable staff. You can't go wrong here.
Parking was a nightmare but once I managed to get into the store I was out super fast. The salesperson that helped me was amazing and very knowledgeable. Made it quick and painless to get in and out of there with an amazing pair of Ghost 14s. Plus the shoes are absolutely incredible. Everything I’ve heard about them is true. I look like somebody’s grandpa but man are they comfortable! I’d definitely come back.
Brooks Trailhead is the best!!!Customer service is great, and sales person was super knowlegeable about shoes! Great store
I had a really good experience here buying some new running shoes. The rep I worked with was very helpful, personable, and knowledgeable.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Stopped in on a very rainy day (odd for Seattle) and my feet hurt. Got some waterproof Ghost models with super sticky tread for $130 and a discount on some apparel too! After 100+ miles in lots of rain and walking through tidal pools, they're amazing and haven't let me down yet. Thanks!
Great, knowledgeable staff huge selection. Came to replace 10yr old shoes staff was extremely patient and made great recommendation to go up 1/2 size…has made all the difference in comfort. So much shopping online, but in person with knowledgeable sales staff makes huge difference.
Great customer service! Always a pleasant experience and they never fail to attend to your needs with great patience and detail
I don’t usually leave reviews for places but I had such a great experience here! I came in for a new pair of running shoes, and the guy who helped me (sorry I can’t remember your name!) was so patient and knowledgeable. When I finally picked a pair, they didn’t have them in the color/size combo I wanted. He tried to have a pair shipped to their store but found out they wouldn’t arrive for several months so he called a completely different sports shop and confirmed that they had them, and then had the store hold them for me! It was so kind of him and I am so grateful he went above and beyond! I can’t wait to break in my new shoes!
Great product, great customer service. The 3 stars is for: give me the pair of shoes I tried on to purchase at the register. We all know there are very slight differences in the shoes/fit. Now I have a $177 pair of sneakers that fit slightly worse than the ones I tried on, intended to purchase. So I can deal with it or make another trip across town to try again.
I’ve always heard great things about Brooks shoes. I was in need of a new pair of running shoes and I always have had difficulty to find sneakers. I went to visit Brooks Flagship store and instantly felt welcomed. Sam, an associate who just moved to Seattle from Portland, was super helpful by observing my walking style, asking questions to understand the use of the shoes, and then providing various options to help me make my decision. He was patient, customer focused, and didn’t pressure me at all in any way. His goal was to be helpful and provided information to help my buying decision. I ended up with a pair and cannot wait to try them out tomorrow! Thank you, Sam and Brooks!!
I went in today for a new pair of running shoes today after my old ones wore down. Caitlin (what a cutie btw) did a thorough analysis of my subtalar inclination and helped me choose the perfect pair of shoes.
Highly recommend visiting the store if you’re hunting for walking or running shoes.
The store associate gauged my walk and recommended shoes based on it. They also have a treadmill where you can test drive the shoes. Great experience!
I love this store so much! I love my Brooks shoes! I had the friends and family discount which saved me alot of money so I was happy! I will never buy any other running shoes or athletic shoes again!!!!
Nice selection of women's sports wear by Brooks. Bought a pair of Brooks everyday tennis shoes. Very comfortable. Great customer service.
I’m very satisfied with the experience I had here. I was looking for a pair of shoes for walking and maybe running and Katie spent so much time explaining differences in the shoes in detail and even giving me tips on my feet and if I’ll benefit from the support technology in some of the Brooks shoes or not. Very patient and professional 👌
This is a really nice store with a great selection. My only beef is that a couple people from corporate(upstairs) came in and grabbed the person who was helping me so they could find their favorite color of shoe. They probably went through about 10 just to find the right color from the back. All the while I am waiting to ask for another size. I do have to say the person helping was very kind and knowledgable. Mostly my feedback would be to put focus on the customers, and not the employees from upstairs. Those two people added a good 30 minutes to my time in the store.
YES still open in 2020 normal hours and YES you can try shoes on in store and YES this place sells the best running shoes, see below.
If you like Brooks shoes, you will love this store. I had always gotten Brooks shoes at fleet feet, because it just fit me the best and I could run 10+ miles without any problems due to a bad shoe.
This store is the best Brooks shoe store. Well actually, it is the only Brooks store in North America, because the headquarters is here in Seattle (learned this in the store.) Brooks shoes are everywhere but they are not known to have just their own shoe store, so I thought it was pretty cool to see a store of ALL brooks and only brooks.
Staff here is super helpful, they are trained to tell by the way you walk whether you need a support shoe or a neutral shoe.
ALWAY ALWAYS ALWAYS better to try shoes on in person in store than online. I randomly bought a brooks shoe online because it was on sale on amazon but this was a complete waste of money because I learned it was a support shoe and did completely not fit my foot right, my idiot self didn't decide to wear them until past the return date, o well.
Return policy is 90 days refund or exchange, that's better than most other running shoe stores. Fleet feet is only 60 days return policy.
Shoes are kinda pricy like $130 average for a good pair of running shoes. But honestly I still have some Brooks running shoes from college (8 years ago, yes I'm old now) and I can still run long distance in them and I have done quite a few half marathons in them over 8 years. The only reason I'm getting new shoes is because I'm human and we're trained to like "new." haha true though
I love these shoes so much and they have been with me through various phases in life. I first discovered them when I ran cross country and my first marathon. Then I sprained my ankle pretty badly and my podiatrist recommended a different style of Brooks so I switched to that for more stability while I did physical therapy. Then when I became pregnant and my feet swelled, I discovered their wide fit. I love this company and their product and highly recommend Brooks!
These shoes are great for your feet. However I have rolled my ankle many times with these shoes. No ankle support, any lateral movements can potentially put all the strain onto your ankle due to the platforms and bracing around up to the bottom of the ankle. Something need to be done about this, although running is usually a linear movement there can easily be variables in everyday running. Very disappointed because i just rolled my ankle again and now have sprained my ankle. A shoe without the platform to catch your ankle has proven to be far more adaptable.
Recently purchased my third pair of shoes from Brooks, not because I'm a fanboy, but because I've had excellent service every time. This purchase was actually ordered online because the store was sold out of my size. Fed Ex caused all kinds of problems and I still had no shoes two months after ordering and after multiple phone calls with Fed Ex. I called Brooks and they took care of everything with no problems and comped a replacement (expedited) order of shoes.
Super friendly staff and good selection. More color options available online but they had 6ish in each style here.
I want to thank the sale/ floor clerk.. Who helped us today @ the trailhead store in Fremont ... His name is Gavin .. He went beyond and above to help us find the perfect fit .. Webought 4 pairs of shoe I love your levitate4's
“Run Happy Central” is located in the heart of Fremont. Local running shoe maker Brooks Running has their flagship location on the main floor with office spaces upstairs. Come in and get fit by the pros across their broad selection of shoes, apparel and performance accessories.
ProTip Shoes aren’t just about fit but feel, I wear Glycerin line for neutral fit and cushion feel.
PLEASE GIVE ME A 👍🏻 IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW USEFUL
If you're into running shop here. It's 100% running focused. The shop is a big, bright and airy space. The staff can fit running shoes well. There are also treadmills to run on to feel the true fit of the shoe before buying.
Very helpful and patient with a novice looking for the right shoe. We wanted a comfortable pair of shoes and weren't disappointed. Bought a pair for the wife too!
I'd give it a "meh" based on my first experience. I'm shopping around for new running shoes and the staff didn't seem as friendly or helpful as other similar local stores. The store itself is nice, though.
Buy you next pair of shoes here! Just got some shoes with the help of Kristina at the brooks trailhead store and had a great experience. Tried on shoe after shoe to match the fit of my other brooks shoe and finally found the right one with her help. Thanks!
I solely where Brooks athletic shoes but don't like to pay full price. I don't think they carry sale items here but it was cool to visit and check all the models out. You can get better deals elsewhere or online.
Great selection of footwear. Nice treadmill, try on shoes and see what you need with an alignment quick test . Ask questions, knowledgeable staff.
Great selection of shoes and the staff were very friendly and helpful!
I came in here because I was unsure about my shoe size. The girl who helped me, (I didn't catch her name) was very kind and helpful.
Outstanding facility and products, all the staff members super helpful and competent, they even did a Google search for a product they didn't sell! Great experience!
People were super nice in there. It ain't cheap! Unfortunately no headquarters sales.
Very helpful staff! They did a run analysis on the treadmill and then patiently helped me try different shoes until I found the ones that felt the best.
Brooks is an awesome Seattle company that truely wants to connect with and serve their customers. The experience is always professional and hands off--letting their customers lead with their expectations and stepping in when necessary to take them to a higher level.
Friendly staff willing to help, well educated on their gear. Don't feel embarrassed to say you need help finding the right shoe or outfit, these guys can help you choose what makes the most sense!
It's a Brooks running store - if you come in you probably know what you are going in there for. That said, helpful staff, fun local runs and things posted on their walls, two treadmills to test out the shoes, and helpful gait analysis if you want.
I always get excellent service for shoes here. They've got some nice active outerwear too.
Top notch service. The folks there know what they are doing. Great return policy. A good variety of shoes.
Amazing running store from an epic brand that is committed to the sport. It is also a great location to go for a run once you but your new gear.
Employees are super helpful and representative of their brand, and of course their stuff is some of the highest quality running gear you can get.
Great place to get fitted for running shoes. Lots of sizes, good return policy.
Great product. Great location. Great shop. Friendly and helpful staff. Be warned: Not an economy brand and you aren't going to get a discount here.
Loved being able to shop brick and mortar specifically for Brooks!
They took the time to help me pick out the right shoes for me. Great service.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Good variety of running shoes/clothes.
Very satisfied with my trip to Brooks yesterday. Staff was attentive, very knowledgeable, and helpful.
Great Customer service too. Very nice selection of running shoes and apparel.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Easy access to safe, interesting running through the city with a stop at Brooks HQ and the Fremont troll!
It's been awhile since I've tried Brooks but they have so many options now! Everyone was super nice and helpful in the store.
They have nearly every color and size of shoes in stock. Fun new place that has potential.
Cheers to my favorite running shoe team!
Nice place, no kids gear somehow I just expected it to be a little more impressive?
Great shoes, very comfortable. Unfortunately, the customer service was not very good.
The service and knowledge of the staff is excellent. High quality products and pleasant environment.
If they sell the shoes on-line, they have them all here. Pretty much all the sizes and colors.
Great shoes and helpful staff.
Great service. Deserves all five of what I gave.
Awesome service, beautiful store, had what I needed!! Very happy!!!
Awesome!!! Great friendly service. I will get my shoes here from now on :)
Good service and quality products. Store seems to also host some fun events.
Great selection of running shoes, clean store, wonderful advice!
Very helpful staff. Love their shoes. Nice location.
Always helping you to Run Happy!
Great service and well priced. Was fitted and looked after.
My fave running shoes located at the junction of running and beer.
Great help in finding running shoes!
My only choice for running happy
Very helpful and knowledgeable service!
Honestly, you literally work at a running store, move faster.
Expensive but great quality
They have a garage, but it costs money. Expensive. They don't have any clearance items.
Best selection of Brooks shoes around.
Absolutely amazing in there. Didn't want to leave!

Running Specialty Store
They have tons of shoe options here as well as activewear clothing for men and women.
(Translation) Great selection of brand items. From shorts and shirts, to socks and jackets. The staff is friendly, and the place has treadmills to try on shoes and even exclusive merchandise from its flagship store that you definitely shouldn't pass up.
(Original)
