This is a great store. I’ve only visited once but my mom has bought numerous things here, including a pair of snow pants for me. The layout of the store is very inviting and cheerful, with a lot of lights. They have some great products as well, I got a ski jacket and balaclava here; I included pictures of both. I really like how they have sales pretty often too! This store is perfect for the outdoorsy and adventuring PNWer, I’m looking forward to coming back!

My family is just getting into snowboarding. Haven’t found any where else that offers a comparable boots/bindings/board discount, but beyond that Megan and Forrest were the absolute best at being patient with all our newbie questions from how to choose a board through proper maintenance to make our investment last. Fitted out the whole family and will definitely come back whenever we need more gear!

Awesome place to get a bike. Purchased my first bike in 10 years and could not be happier. Cory in the bike shop is amazing. Worked with me to test ride a few bikes. What’s really cool is Backcountry U-Village store is right off the Burke Gilman trail. No better place to test ride a bike! Once I found my perfect bike (Ridley Road Bike) and took it home, the awesome Backcountry customer service did not end there. I needed some tweaking done with handlebar height and Cory was all over it. Kept me updated via text on status of a different angled stem I needed then when it arrived got my bike there and was fixed in 5 minutes. Really impressed with the friendliness, the service and selection at Backcountry and would recommend folks look, test ride and purchase here!

I have to pump the customer service at this store. They did not have to lean in and help me with an online order tracking issue, but they totally did and stuck with me until we resolved it- during the busy holiday season, too! I thought this kind of happy, helpful, take ownership customer service was dying, but KUDOS to this U-Village team :))

This store is nicely set up and has good collection in my opinion. I found couple of clothings I’m interested online. Also the store is not big, their fitting rooms are large. They close at 6 and we arrive at 5:50, we shopped for a while but they didn’t kick us out at all. First backcountry store but it’s a good experience.

While Backcountry as a company doesn’t have a great reputation, I think this store is absolutely representative of them trying to improve and grow. The staff here was fantastic and there was a solid assortment of product. They were very honest about what they don’t carry in store or online but were going above and beyond to help me. Staff is more friendly than other similar retailers - Lincoln? and Jake? were great, as well as everyone else there the two separate days I came by.
